Here I am with my review on Anise by @courtyardbymarriotagra . It's a gorgeous dinner place in Marriott which opens from October to February. They avail you outside seating in their green landscape, cute little fountain , peaceful fire bodies with mesmerizing music. They offer our countries best palatable varieties of dishes.
They have everything tasty in their Main Course.

And again this winter-y place opens up again and doing wonders here. The atmosphere, the ambiance, the staff and the food; all are too good that you would not want to leave the place soon. I tried- anise ke galawati, tandoori platter, roomali paneer tikka, dal makhani, paneer shabnam, boondi cheesecake and faaloda. The best one’s are all of the above 🙈 See such is the quality and taste of the food that you would not want to leave anything. 😁

The food was served in a very pleasant atmosphere under the twinkling stars with two musicians playing on the traditional music one on the flute and other on the Tabla...

The starters be it Tandoori Galawat, Tandoori Paneer Tikka...
The mains Veg Biryani, Dal Makhani they left an unforgettable Taste to my taste buds ..
The Spiced Guava Moctail was really a unique one and felt really refreshing.

It’s always a pleasure to visit Agra - the place I grew up while chewing on some mouth watering food and the Non vegetarian food one gets here can only be matched in either Delhi, Lucknow or Hyderabad so that’s the levels food I am talking about here😍
Five stars and authentic Indian food in my experience is not a match made in heaven as far as my experiences go, so with little hope and a lot of skepticism I landed up at Marriott Agra’s Indian Speciality restaurant - Anise !
First up the palace like facade of Anise with bright torches gave it a befitting traditional Indian look so that did setup the tone to begin with 🔥
The setup is all open to air with a lot of greenery, just enough light so that you know what you’re eating and soft live Indian music - all these elements coming together for that authentic Indian meal that one looks forward at the best of places.
So far so good with Ambience and setup, it was about time to try out the food and almost all of the preparations qualified for a food connoisseur’s delight:
❤️Galawati Kebab - The best Galawati I have ever tasted in any five star property across the Country and I have been all over the place so that speaks a lot about the preparation. It was soft, tender, melt in the mouth, Desi ghee smeared Kebab served with a creamy, slightly crispy and saffron infused bread that was equally good as the Kebab😍
Other notable mentions would be the Dal Makhani that was cooked overnight, Paneer Rumali - pretty unique rolled paneer preparation that my vegetarian friends just can’t afford to miss❤️
Biryani & Lal Maas left a bit to be desired on the taste quotient however the fish Tikka was equally succulent as other starters and I did have a ball at Anise to be really honest😊

A review after a long long break and what better than to start it with a place which needs no introduction!
Yes, Anise, the open to sky- winter special restaurant at @courtyardbymarriottagra has opened it's doors again !
If you (like us) love a beautiful, royal, elegant and luxurious ambience, then this is the place to spend that cold winter evening.
Designed to perfection, this place spells Class.
Dim lighting, mashals, a well equipped bar and an open kitchen which dishes out some well cooked Indian delicacies.. what more could one ask for.
Well, music did you say?
Yes, there is some soulful live music to complete that magical touch. For us the soft flute and tabla jugalbandi was the highlight of the evening.
The ambience deserves a full post onto itself, but let us get to the food too!
The occasion was an @agrafoodsters event and the hospitality was beyond compare.
Excellent service and a melodious song by the head chef - yes a chef who sings well cooks well too!
We tasted a variety of mocktails which were zingy, tangy and left a pleasant after taste. To accompany these there was the Veg Platter, Zafrani Paneer - soft rolls of stuffed paneer with a delicious filling and their speciality Veg Galawat Kebabs - Cooked in pure ghee this was one melt in the mouth preparation. A definite must try.
The main course consisted of Dal Makhani - another speciality of the Chef, Sabz Masaledar - a sweet savoury preparation and Paneer - the gravy of which was just about perfect.
The Veg Biryani accompanying this meal was one of the best we have had in the city.
The main course was exactly the way it should be - tasteful, flavorful and leaving nothing to be desired. Not overly spicy nor bland..just perfect!
For someone with a dominant sweet tooth what took the cake (quite literally) was the special Cheese Cake on a base of - well taste it yourself.. don't want to spoil the surprise! It was something not to be missed!
A word though - if you are in a group - do order multiple units of every dish.
To sum up the experience - we would definitely recommend this place for a relaxed time - the ambience is pure magic and the food adds to that feel of being pampered!

Had a beautiful dinner at anise . It is very romantic and amazing place for dinner which is more suitable for winters . Anise is peaceful place for go out for any occasion . They provide comfortable seating with decent music . They also had open kitchen that's attract the most .
I liked the main course as compared to starters . The beautiful session was organised by my team taj _gourmets.

As we all know about @courtyardbymarriot agra...they introduced their beautiful perfect place for winters dining place hotel Courtyard by Marriott open this anise Resturant only in winter's time open place with delicious awadhi foods... Mughlai food, classical music.... A perfect romant place for couple... And their foos is tremendous..... Here full bar also available... Enjoy your drink & food at this beautiful perfect place . Visited #anise which is a Mughlai specially Resturant at @courtyard Marriott where we were treated in true Mughal Style of dining experience.
It is located in one of the open spaces which has such a soothing environment with traditional music playing and the setting is just perfect for a Diner Date.

The service & staff has always been the high point here and this time around it was no different, we were treated like royals and they really know how to take care of there guests.

The session began with a welcome drink followed with Various Mocktails which were quite tasty my favorite was the guava one.
Next up were starters like Nachos which was teamed up with Paneer Bhurji which tasted very good & unique.
Another starter that stole everyone's heart was Anise ki Khas Galawat which was melt in the mouth. Tandoori Ratan the veg Platter was delicious to say the least.

In veg main course Dal Makhani, Pindi Chole, Paneer cannelloni, Biryani are totally Recommended.

The lovely session was ended with mouthwatering sweet dish like Gulab jamun & Kulfi "A perfect ending to a totally royal treat".

Anise has again opened it doors and one has to visit the place to get treated the ROYAL WAY.
With beautiful ambience, soothing music & great food it's a not to be missed Dining Experience.

Beautiful Dinner Night at Anise: courtyard by marriott agra 🌿 Anise is another very Gorgeous Dinner Place by Marriot Agra which Opens only in Cold Weather around Oct to Feb.
Anise has an outdoor seating in the midst of Lush Green Landscapes, cute little water fountain and charming fire bodies.
They Offer an exclusive selection of the country's traditional dishes.
❤ Coming to the Food Part ❤
Drinks: They had variety of drinks and every one liked them.
Veg Gaulati Kababs: They have very tasty kababs which melts inside your mouth. I loved their variety of chutneys as well. They have corriandar, tomato and pineapple chutney.
Rumali Paneer Tikka: It was good but for me it was not flavour ful. It had very bleh taste.
Tandoor Ratan: This was their grilled veggie platter which had brocolli, mushrooms and Pineapple. I loved it ❤
Nachos: I ordered Nachos because I love them and they had their special touch in it. But I didn't like it much. They had paneer bhurji in it and I am not a fan of it.
Main Course: Everything in Main course was good and I highly recommend their Biryani. They have good non veg options too. 😊
Desserts: Except Gulab Jamun I didn't like their Desserts. Lets wait for Gajar ka Halwa to join the Menu ❤

Superb place to visit. The ambiance was great and the taste of food was very tasty. You can have buffet or alakart as per your choice. Mr. Nikhlesh was so polite and and he took good care of us.

Anise is such a beautiful restaurant and food is mouthwatering. A week back visited this place. The restaurant was busy but service was amazing. Special mention to Rahul & Mr. Birendra for such a great service and Ms Kriti for recommending us this restaurant.

Chicken Korma- exceptionally well
Dal- fantastic
Lovely hospitality extended by Jahangir, Rahul Asif, chef and manager Nikhilesh..
Definitely recommend this restaurant for families and friends..

Undoubtedly one of the best and most preferred destination in the Agra. The outdoor sitting area is amazing to enjoy your time peacefully. Recommended to visit with family or for a date. Service is prompt and people are friendly and well mannered
The Anise cafe is a perfect place to have a romantic date with your loved one even to have a family dinner. Super marvelous ambiance, lip-smacking food with a soothing Indian music made our evening a great one. We ordered some veg and non-veg food and loved every bit. They also serve a delicious Warki Parantha which is a bit sweet in taste, do not forget to order it if you are at Anise for your dinner. Their vilayati sabz masaledar was again a super hit delicacy and not to forget the Nalli Nihari which was a nonvegetarian dish. Yes, their desserts were a bit over sweet but then again they were served with a wonderful presentation, especially the chilled rabri with hot boondi.
The cafe is open only for good 4-5 months during winters so if you are in Agra during the winter season, do not miss having dinner at this wonderful place.
A beautifully done restaurant with the most romantic vibes. Whether you are staying at the Courtyard Marriott or not you should definitely eat at this place once at dinner.
Awadhi cuisine at it's prime I must say. Gosht Yakhni Shorba , Anise ki Galouti ( veg) and the Lamb Galouti are a must have. Raan e Sikandari is a lamb leg dish and not to be missed at all, for vegetarians Anise ki Dal Makhni, Khumb and Paneer dish are a must eat.
For dessert try the Phirni.
Anise,The Awadhi fine dining Restaurant at Courtyard by Marriott Agra has become one of my Favorites here in Agra.
I visited them on my parents wedding anniversary and they welcomed us with table decorated with Rose petals,lovely Gesture.
The Atmosphere is pleasant and ambience is charming .Food is scrumptious,Staff is courteous and Instrumental Live Music was mesmerising.
The first thing that struck me was the elegant decor and tasteful interior design of Anise. The restaurant has a modern and sophisticated atmosphere that creates a pleasant and comfortable dining environment. The attention to detail is evident, from the stylish furniture to the beautiful lighting arrangements.
This place had the only decent food in all of Agra.I am so glad I stayed in Mariott and had the chance to eat such delicious food. Wish my stay was longer so I could have tasted more of their cuisine.

Stunning restaurant, especially in winters, for a romantic / special dinner. Beautiful property, ambience, and tables; soft, live Indian classical music on the side; great food, courteous staff, and crowd; easy parking at Marriott, and a short walk through the main reception (follow the signs). Highly recommend as a dinner for a special date.

Went to Anise With my two daughters for dinner. What a beautiful setting! Beautifully lit outdoor area with amazing ambience and live music. We had the butter chicken, pindi Choli and a veggie biryani- all absolutely delicious! The wait staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Our waiter Jahangir was exceptional! We sent our compliments to the chefs, and they came out to greet us, then brought us complimentary desserts, capping off a beautiful dining experience. Highly recommend
One of the best testing foods I have had
Awesome place to have a romantic dinner. Really tasty food, nice ambiance, live background music to set the scene, and the service was great. Jahangeer, was super nice and welcoming and went out of his way to make sure we were having a great dinner experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for good food and service :)

Wonderful al fresco dining under the stars. Chef Binay brings the awadhi flavors alive in a light and fresh way! The galouti kabab, Anise ki dal and Raan were superb.
The live music was simply the icing on the cake. Heard some Excellent flute in a long time.
Wonderful sphere outdoor with live music, good traditional vegetarian options. Special thanks to Amit for his service and chef Hardeep for this delicious dinner and dessert!
