They provide sanitizers sachets with the food and the biryani I ordered was just yumm And the rassa you get with it is on another level, it make thr biryani more delicious and rich in flavour.

Hichkee this is one word is with a lot of meanings to us. Hichkee means hiccup, and in our culture we have a saying that if someone somewhere is remembering you, you get a hiccup or hichkee. But for us in Agra, Hichkee has a whole new meaning which is great ambience and delicious mouth watering food.
Yes I'm talking about the HICHKEE the rooftop restaurant of Hotel Alleviate on the bank of river Yamuna with a backdrop of Taj Mahal, Agra fort and Itimad-ud-daula. One of the very few restaurant with the finest location in Agra.
Ever since it has opened it has been in the top charts. To begin with let me tell you, once you are there you can't deny the lovely feeling you have in the ambience. Either you go as a couple , as friends group or as family, you feel this place is for you.
The Food Never disappoint you neither the service. The Staff is polite and suggestive for the food according to your taste and the Head Chef is always there to hear you out and receive feedback be it positive or negative, if any.
If I mention one dish to be good it would be huge injustice with the other that I had because it was equally relishable compared to the previous one.
If you are confused then you have the waiter at your service to suggest according to your taste and some times you end up having something new and never imagined the taste which was superlative still not naming the dish as I said all of them , I don't say it very often but I repeat all of the dishes are great to have.
So just go and create your memorable experience and when you get a HICHKEE remember me too.

Pros: Rooftop restaurant at Hotel Alleviate - our abode at Agra. It gave us an added advantage to walk up to it casually and dine out. Not to forget the Taj View it offers along with the food that tastes yum. They made sure to arrange for the salad, although the salad bar was closed for the day. The ambience is nice and the restaurant is well kept. Also, the restaurant is open till late night. Live concerts are a regular feature here.
Cons: Given the ambience and the Taj View, the items are priced on the higher end. Although the taste compensates for the price.

Amazing roof top cafe in Agra. One can enjoy great food & view of Taj Mahal simultaneously. Ordered chilly Paneer with noodles that were super delicious. Also ordered B5 shots, they were great.

It's amazing how these people take their preparation and delivery so seriously. I mean, be it the dum biryani, which they'll deliver to you in the packed matki....or be it my latest favourite of their store...agli-e-olio spaghetti pasta. I'd definitely give all 5 stars here.
Slightly'slightly pricey but it's sure worth it.
Must try- for all the garlic lovers out there, try their pasta range.(especially agli olio) You can ask them to make it with minimal olive oil. Comes with a crispy garlic bread... and you'll feel full.
Other recommendations- paneer dimsums in appetizers, chana Masala in main course n chilli garlic naan in breads. Also their walnut brownie with ice cream.

I have been to Hichkie many time from the last one and a half year
The best part of the restaurant is the service.
Talking about the food I usually order Italian as its my favourite and everytime it's gives me the same pleasure as usual.
A good ambienve with good quality of space. A very good staff to serve and music band to entertain. Food served is good to have and taste full too.
Hichkee is the cafe/resto located near to Belanganj. This restaurant is totally suits in the today's world that's what Agra actually need. I tried almost all the things. Food, taste and ambience are excellent. But the service is very slow as I observe little negligence. But you may improve it. Otherwise all over rating is 4/5

So a friend of mine had recommended the food here and we landed up in Hichkee, itβs a rooftop restaurant. The place as we entered was nicely done with patios all along the walls of the terrace. We were seated in one of the patios overlooking the magnificent Taj Mahal, we had gone in the afternoon which was a big mistake but they had installed small sprinklers on top which would throw a small amount of water in the air from time to time and make it a pleasant stay. So now coming to the things we ordered we started off with some chilled beer which was much needed in the blitzing heat along with a really nice Sheesha, then we were really hungry so both of us ordered for the minced lamb burger and boy was the burger huge. It was smack on point with the flavor and the taste. I really liked this burger because I personally enjoy more of a bun to meat ratio whereas other places they add a lot of sauces and veggies which really kills the patty flavor but this just won my heart. Both of us with really good appetite couldnβt finish the whole burger and had to pack the remaining half. The service was good considering we just reached at their opening time. It was a wonderful experience for me which I shall definitely relive when Iβm back in Agra.

Mutton rogan josh was very tasty though i had an issue with consistency in mutton pieces all were not cooked same but i enjoyed eating,chilly garlic fish was awesome, i enjoyed having this food and would recommend everybody to have it at least once,so all foodies out their...till next time.
This is undoubtedly the best restro bar in Agra. When we visited here on a weekend, there was queue of 50 people eagerly waiting to dine which is quite rare in a city like Agra.
Roof top ambience is the best with booze and breeze combined. There are also live singers performing on many days which enlightens the mood.
Food is amazing in terms of both quality and quantity. If you are used to visiting pubs in Delhi NCR, you will be shocked to see the quantity here.

Ordered keema paav and can say one of the best keema pav i have eaten.. Perfectly cooked blended taste with chillies and onion.. There packing was the best i have ever seen on zomato.. They have sent wipes also.. Happy with the choice to go for hitchkee

Visited last week, ambience is good nice place to relax food is also good according to taste but Achari soya chaap has too much Achari flavour.... Food is OK but little bit to work upon music for making it a hapenning atmosphere....
A nice and cozy rooftop restro.......gud ambeince ......interiors now need a makeover.....but the food is awesome....amng the best in town......had bhunna kukad and chicken garlic kebab.....if ur a foodie then tis is the place....

Not been here yet so cannot comment on the ambience but ever since this restaurant was launched, whenever I come back home, I just have to order from here.
I love their menu and would urge people to explore because even though now the restaurant scene in Agra is all fancy, I am always a little daicey about the food quality at a lot of places and with Hitchki, there's been no miss!

If the length of the waiting line at a restaurant that has been in business for more than a year shoes no signs of shortening up, it kind of speaks for itself. Places can be as fancy as they like but if the food doesn't stand up to it, at the end of the day...people tend to move away.
Hitckee has been the talk of the town ever since it put up shop next to the dwindling yamuna, what with the view and the ambience and live screenings etc. But it's the amazing food that keeps pulling us back.
Their Vegetarian Biryani is just so good, and the Dal Bukhara and rotis so we'll made and soft and full of flavor. We lived their various milk based shakes and the mocktails along with the starters. Both tandoori and continental.
The only hitchkee ( read hiccup) is the very loud music. It would be wonderful to enjoy the fabulous food against some softer and lower music so one can at least talk to the person next to them.

A place definitely worth visiting at least once, though whenever I used to pass by, I used to see a long line of people waiting at the door and a long line of cars parked on the road, so make sure you book over the phone if you suddenly plan to drop by, a bit expensive as per the location, but the location also gives the advantage of the view! like for 5 People we paid around 7 k so price vise you can make a guess from that, Alcohol is available, food is good, staff I believe is too occupied to be as courteous as they should be, but again that could be ignored, if you are looking for peace and just enjoy the rooftop, not really a place to be...
I oredred online via Zomato. Tandoori Chicken, Fish Tikka, & Butter chicken. They had SOLE Fish which many other resturants were not having in Agra . Food was good. But in Butter chcken they had used boiled chicken which was not tasty , usualyy restuatnts use some kind of tandori chicken type stuff in butter chicken also ...Hope they improve it

One of the best goto pub in agra.. probably the oldest and trendsetter. DJ Raja was just awesome with Bollywood and trance. Biryani is must try. Atmosphere war electrifying and as it was December so it was absolutely fooggy. Drinks are reasonably priced. Food quality was just awesome. Service was par excellence.

It's on the 4th Floor of Hotel Alleviate. You can see the Taj from the terrace. The ambience, food and staff were great and we enjoyed our food. It has good atmosphere, families enjoy their time there. Small dance floor as well. They serve Hookah too. One should give it a try atleast for once.
HICHKEE restaurant cum bar is on the 4th Floor of Hotel Alleviate (Yamuna Kinara Road, Mantola Kachori Ghat). We were returning back from Taj mahal and were in search of a good restaurant to have our lunch before driving down to Delhi. We were lucky enough to spot this restaurant since its within the Hotel property. Itβs a WOW experience once you reach the roof top , you can see the Taj from the terrace. The ambience, food and staff were great and we enjoyed our food to its best. Try the Handi Chicken, its good and spicy.

I always try to explore new places to eat while in a new city. I checked through some options online which lead me to this amazing place.
Positive:
1. The rooftop sitting arrangement is very nice ,
2. The UV lights all over the place is really amazing ti see things in a different way,
3. Well designed menu keeping in mind the UV lights, it really glows when you open the menu.
4. Food was awesome, can't complain but it's really tasty, but don't mind I cook more tasty white sauce pasta π.
5. Music is top notch , didn't feel I was not sitting in a Metro city bar, even in Delhi some bars play very offbeat kind of repeating music.
6. Courtesy of the staff is appreciated, the waiter couldn't understand the ingredients when I've ordered a Chef's special, after a while the chef came to my table to explain and finalize the order.
**Could Improve :
1. Feeling of coziness can be improved with the siting arrangement.
2. It's winter night, placing a few fire stands can give much comfort.
3. Why don't you do something with the waiter's uniform keeping I'm mind that you have UV lights at night and it will be interesting to see and spot a glowing waiter.
I had to take cab to reach this cafe in night around 11:00 p.m. as it was around 5 km away from the hotel taj plaza where I stayed.
it remains open till 11:30 in night which is the best part about this cafe, another good thing is that this cafe is at the rooftop with a view.
And they have a dedicated person who as a DJ who keeps playing beautiful songs and they play on requests too. But the peculiar thing is that they play very loud music, much like you happen to hear in pubs. so you may not like the idea of having meal here if you like to sit in a quiet place. the view from inside and the food was heavenly divine!
