This was a friend's recommendation and we visited this place on our Agra Food Journey. I have been to some iconic paratha joints in Delhi and NCR. This place had its own charm.
The parathas we ordered were superfine, delicious and had this amazing flavor along with the veges and chilled lassi that goes well with this offering. So, the place is very old and has more than one branch but this one is the original and famous one located in the city. The crispy paratha along with delicious veges was a perfect way to start the day. A must try if you are around.
Rambabu Parantha Bhandar is located at Bhelanganj, Civil Lines. This legendary place is running successfully since 1930. We ordered gobi parantha, paneer parantha and sweet lassi. I liked both those paranthas, you can feel the strong flavour of ghee. I loved the side dishes, specially that potato and eggplant curry. Lassi was amazing, which was served in kullad. But unlike other famous places, here parantha was little bit harder. That's why I gave less rating, other than that taste was great. Ambience was okayish and service was great. Parking is a big problem because of very small lanes.

The outlet is definitely spacious with a seating capacity of 50 to 60 people. Ambience and interiors of the outlet is cozy. Easily approachable with huge parking space.
Menu offers you wide varieties of delactable paranthas and each offspring has a unique flavour to it.
Tried there Mewa Parantha, Paneer Parantha, Mix Veg Parantha and Desi Pizza Parantha all were pretty decent in texture , crispiness, stuffing and there side dishes chutneys, curries were too yum specially the arbee Ka jhol, and sonth ki chutney.
This outlet has a thali option as well in which u r served with Dal Tadka, Aalloo sabzi, mix veg sabzi, chapati, papad, salad accompanied with raita and kheer. Thali has a true Authentic North Indian taste.
I would rate this place with a perfect 04 🌟 in terms of food, ambience, service, value for money.
Guys If you are a crazy parantha enthusiast and wish to relish heavenly taste then this should be your next stop..

Agra is not only famous for the mesmerising Taj Mahal but its delicacies too. It is acknowledged as one of the best street food serving spots in the country by many connoisseurs. The city witnesses foodies coming from all over the country to quench their insatiable appetite. Exploring a city and not tasting its local or street food is always impossible. It can be definitely said that Ram Babu Parantha Bhandar is the shaan of agra since 1930. Mr. Gupta Ji, who is the owner of the restaurant, told us that this is the 3rd generation of their family that is taking the legacy of this iconic restaurant forward. When you enter this place , you get an impression of a traditional indian restaurant. The interior of the place is not so mesmerising. Although the staff is very courteous and the place is quite clean which really impressed me. They serve a variety of paranthas - plain, shakkar, aloo, ajwain, lachcha, papad, missa, sev, dal, matar, mix veg and paneer. I tried my hands on most of their famous paranthas which included paneer, lachcha ,mix veg and sev. The paranthas were served with dahi jhol, aloo ki sabzi, kaddu ki sabzi , chutney and achar. The paranthas were deep fried and were really crisp from outside. The standout of all the paranthas was the mix veg parantha - it had stuffing of gobhi,aloo paneer and matar. Even all other paranthas were finger licking good.
I would definitely recommend you to go to this place if you are in agra. Overall i would give this place a rating of 4.5/5.

My family's all time favorite place to visit in Agra is rambabu parantha bhandar. My mother came here since her childhood.
Paratha is the speciality but I love paratha as well as that kulfa jhol which is amazing.
They serve a no. Of parathas as mix veg, aaloo, paneer, dal among usual parathas & sev, banana, papad paratha among the innovative parathas.
Parathas served hot & crispy with aloo sabji , seasonable sabji, jhol, sonth(meethi chatni) and achar. All are fresh and amazing in taste.
Must try paneer and daal paratha.

Today we #bhukkadcook got a chance to visit the famous Rambabu paratha bhandar @rambabuparathabhandar with @agrafoodsters and the experience was amazing 😍. There are varieties of parathas here like the normal ones (paneer, aloo etc) and the different ones like mewa paratha, papad parathas, sev paratha. Rambabu paratha bhandar has maintained it's status since years and it's one of the places in Agra where you can get the old Agra touch ☺️ It's not that fancy kind of restaurant but surely an authentic family restaurant one can visit 😍 parathas we're simply amazing and the service was excellent 😀
Parathas were served with aloo jhol, dahi jhol, mix sabzi, dahi, achar, saunth 😋 mine fav among all was the mix veg paratha 😋

We've been to various cafes and restaurants,and reviewed them for you all but today, for the first time we @agrafoodsters took our steps to something legendary and iconic @rambabuparathabhandar . It's one of the oldest restaurants of Agra, they are very famous for their prathas, they have a huge range of prathas, from the most loved ones such as Aloo and paneer parathas to most interesting and unique ones such as papad ka pratha and Sev ka pratha. They all are served with kaddu Ki sabzi, jhol(it's a kind of raita), Aloo ki sabzi, chutney and achar.😍
It's not a classy or posh restaurant but a decent one, with decent sitting area, and its a good place to have breakfast, lunch, dinner at reasonable prices.

Service they provide you is good as well, the staff is very friendly and the thing I loved the most is the cleanliness. They pay attention to the cleanliness and hygiene. ▪Service- 4/5

Nice place to have lunch and dinner.I am really fond of Rambabu paratha.I must recommend these parathas to all of you.You all must try it once and feel the taste of this ancient organization.As it reveals that it was since 1930 world famous.
Heard of this place many times.... So I decided to visit it on my trip to Agra... I tried paneer Paratha, aloo Paratha, gobhi Paratha, Dal Paratha and lassi . All parathas were served with aloo ki sabzi, kadhi and mix veg . Except Dal Paratha, all other stuff was nice. They should serve curd also with no extra charge as each Paratha costs approx. 170/-
Rambabu Parantha wala, It's always in my mind whenever I am on visit on the way to Agra, Mathura, Vrindavan and even Kokilawan. Now they are also opened there branch in Vrindavan also. I loved every prantha of this food joint. The chutney, Bhaji and the kadi they served is always same as last servings. They serves it again and again complementary with pranthas. So when ever I thought to visit Agra or Vrindavan, The lunch or dinner is always in plans at Rambabu.
True to its heritage, this non-descript, run-down restaurant continues to serve awesome parathas for decades now. We stopped here for lunch on our way back from Fatehpur Sikri to Agra. It was my 2nd visit to Ram Babu's perhaps after a gap of 20+ years. His parathas still smelled and tasted the same! We had the alloo and the matar parathas along with awesome lassi. The kadhi they served with the parathas was the best I've ever had! My wife who was initially apprehensive ended up loving the parathas, which otherwise she is not a big fan of. Wish you more success.

Unique deep fried parathas. decent clean place and lot of options. however too much oil. but whn we asked for low oil paratha, he gave us a good low oil one. we tried aloo panner papad. except paneer, others were good. Can try.
There's hardly anyone in Agra who doesnt know Rambabu Paranthe Wala. I have been going from many years....People who love desi kinda food, this is the place.
This place is far ahead than Parathe wali gali in taste and quality.
One thing which they have changed is they have shifted from coal to gas cooking.
This is the best place to have food in the Taj Mahal city. The ambience is not that good but the authentic paratha's will get you forget other aspects.

I went to Agra a couple of weeks back, with friends, we had dinner at our hotel and were spending time at pool after few drinks and swimming, we felt hungry and saw the clock....it was 10:40... I opened zomato and called in belanganj outlet, they replied we take last order till 11pm.... Me and my friend just started the car and opened gps, as we were not aware of the Agra roads, we were driving quite fast expecting the good paranthas as always.... Lil rash... But we reached on time and ordered 3 paranthas in a row....MEWA PARANTHA, MISSA PARANTHA AND RK SPECIAL SWEET PARANTHA...... Accompanied by kadi, aloo subzi sitafal and meethi saunth.....
Whenever I go to Agra, I always visit here...
Tasty Paranthas, very different, Mattar, Aloo, Daal, Muli, Gobhi, Mixed etc, we tried four types, all were super delicious and one person can eat only one parantha, because of it size, its come with Lauki Daal ki Subzi, Aloo Ki sabzi and Kadhi. Great Food Great Value

Visited Rambabu's Parantha
Bhandar yesterday, during a quick visit to Agra. This place was highly
recommended by a colleague of mine who is an Agra local. I also read a review
of this place in GoodFood magazine. In short, Rambabu's paranthas are to die
for. But you will surely die if you eat too many of these delectable paranthas.
These are not for the faint hearted. These are massive, heavy and oily parantha.
The paranthas are deep fried and they are so crispy that it is more like papad than
parantha. We tried paneer and gobhi paranthas. Both were excellent. Paranthas
were generously filled and filling was very well tempered with cumin
and carom seeds, A parantha is served with three types of seasonal
vegetables and few types of chutneys. We were served kadi, aloo and bottle
gourd sabzis and they were delectable.
Interestingly the place is not
cheap. Each parantha costs around hundred plus rupees. It seems the place has
been running since 1930s and almost everyone in Agra knows about the place.
This is a must visit place if you are in Agra

Parking is a pain... especially on weekdays.

You can tell the shop is very old by the looks of it. The restaurant is located in Belanganj which doesn't look like a great area in itself.
When we entered the restaurant, we had very low expectations. It looked unclean and untidy. The people waiting the table were least bothered, so was the man sitting behind the cash counter. We enquired about the parathe and learnt they dont make parathas with pyaaz(onion) , our expectations dropped even lower.
But when the parathas arrived, they changed the whole narrative. We tried the gobi and shakkar ke parathe. One plate has only one paratha with curry, sabzi and chutney and costs Rs180. Which I feel is pricey. Like for Rs180, they should give two parathas instead. But anyhoo, the parathas were yummy and you should give it a try.
Superb tasty Paratha and Lassi. We had mixed veg paratha and the Sweet Paneer Dry fruits special paratha.
Parathas are served with curry, aloo curry, mixed vegetables curry.
We also had sweet Lassi served in Earthen glass (large khullad).
Behaviour of the owner and services from the staff are very courteous and friendly. Thanks for your warm hospitality.
Probably they use pure Desi ghee for the Paratha. Didn't have any digestion problem or heaviness.

Delicious, crispy, full of ghee paratha. Nice taste. Vide range of paratha served with aloo sabji, mix veg., kadi, pickle. Boondi rayeta is also good.
OMG OMG! Desi Ghee roast parathas. Taste is good. Serve with 2 sabzi and achaar. If you eat 1 Paratha, you will need lots and lots of water to digest it. Also you will feel sleepy, bhai Desi ghee jo khaye ho.

Nothing beats the crispy taste of tradition at Belanganj branch of Rambabu Paratha ! Tried Matar and Gobhi paratha with chaach, kadhi and sabji. Unapologetically rich, made in desi ghee, these Parathas are probably one of the best in India. Don’t expect great hospitality, this is a very simple dining experience in a local market, running for more than 100 years. Hidden gem.
As a name suggest It's Famous for " Parathas " . We enjoyed here with delicious paratha as a breakfast. Service is good and fast. Restaurant is not modern look and interiors are not upto date but parathas are too good....

Nice place to have a change in taste from the regular food offerings. Do note that these are fried parathas, in case you are more health conscious. Parking is road side (no authorized parking space).
I visit most of the time here for Parantha, I've enjoyed every Parantha available here, but lastly I've chosen Aalu Paraantha and Lachcha Paraantha
