Tips for a pleasant visit: 1. Book entry tickets online, there are two separate tickets for main mausoleum. 2. Shoe covers are provided at the entrance, no need to buy them. 3. Book a tour guide if you want to understand the intricate details of the place. 4. Bargain the guide about their service cost and please beware of the overpriced souvenir suggestions of the guides. 5. Souvenir shops and restaurants are available right outside the gate. 6. Eastern gate has better facilities. 7. Reach the entrance by 6 for best views and less crowds.

🚨 Detailed review Me and my friends came here for my birthday in November, a great place and way to spend your birthday I must say. ‼️Tickets: Got it done online for much quicker checking since we had to just go directly to entry point. ‼️Water bottle: carry your water bottles, If not also there are also places you can drink from mouth basins ‼️If you are carrying bags there would be separate line for checking, if you are going on crowded day make sure you carry just your phones and water bottles in hand ‼️Guides: if you are a person who would want to know things, history and information as you step in you can hire one. All of them are skilled, check within you budget scale. I personally paid ₹100/per person.

No need to say, how beautiful it is. We visited the place in a foggy day. So missed the sunny look. Still it is a massive and very attractive. We did not buy mouselion ticket. So can not visit the upper site and inside place. Bathroom is very clean. Advice to buy online ticket. No need to take print out.

Such a beautiful place you have to see it with your own eyes! You won’t be disappointed. The only downside to my experience was I got so tired and overwhelmed by the amount of people asking me for photos. I have never and will never say no to anyone who asks but it started to impact the photos I wanted to take. And when you’ve posed with over 100 people, your face starts to hurt from smiling 😅

There are no words to describe this beauty! Would highly recommend to go there early in the morning. You may come across some fog. However, as you are walking the grounds, the fog will disappear quickly. We got there at 8:30 and avoided a huge crowd.

Amazing monument. It looks smaller in person than what I imagined with all photos but its totally worth it. We got a local guide to hear all the history and appreciate all details and I think it was the best decision. Also we could avoid all the entrance queue. Definetly a life experience to visit Taj Mahal. Hope to come back again.

Beautiful place with interesting fauna and flora. I had travelled a long way and I certainly was not disappointed. A great place for photography. I suggest taking a telephoto lens for the wildlife and detailing. There are limited facilities onside. Tripods are not allowed. As stated elsewhere, entry could be better managed. I avoided the guides as they seem to be independent operators.

Incredible place and exceptionally well maintained. I would definitely recommend a guide even if it is just to help guide you through the entry process. We went early. Arrived around 6:30am and waited 15 mins to get in and 15 mins again for entry to the interior of the mausoleum.

One word...WOW. Foggy start at 9am 80% cleared by 1pm. Walked 360 around the structure. Clean, beautiful and well respected. Worth the foreigner ticket. Funny footwear photos! 😀

The Taj Mahal, a renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Agra, India, is an architectural masterpiece that epitomizes Mughal art and love. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the ivory-white marble mausoleum stands as a symbol of eternal love. Its symmetrical beauty is reflected in the intricately detailed calligraphy, geometric patterns, and graceful domes. The majestic structure is surrounded by lush gardens and complemented by the serene Yamuna River, creating a timeless and awe-inspiring ambiance.

Always go in the morning at 6 am for the beautiful view. Else, the heat and crowd will make your visit tiresome. Taj Mahal is the wonder which is both historical and youthful. The place is lovely and photogenic. Also, after the visit, be sure to go to the local market to purchase the souvenirs. Kindly beware of local guides. Be good in bargaining skill.

My recommendation: I’ll not review this architectural masterpiece. There’s a reason why this is one of the 7 wonders in the world. But here are a few tips: - Don’t get a guide (they bargain a lot and it’s honestly not worth it) - There’s no such thing called skip the line or VIP line. Don’t pay if some “guides” are offering that. - Don’t get the shoe cover. You will get it inside for free. Some people might be selling outside, you can ignore them. - If you’re coming via car, you’ll have to get off about 1.4 km from the entry gate. There are govt. regulated golf-kind carts which will take 20 rupees and will take you near the entry gate. Don’t take the small tuktuk, they will not bring you close to the gate. - Buy online ticket and avoid the queue. It’s the same price - If you’re short in time, you are better off by not buying the mausoleum ticket. Otherwise, you might as well buy. There was a short queue to enter (about 15 mins wait time). If you want to decide when you go there, they sell just mausoleum ticket, but there might be a queue. - Go early morning or definitely before 11 AM. - There are lots of spots for photos, wait for people to clear up, and take photos and move to the next spot.

May 2023- Truly a wonder monument. Bringing in those white marble stones and carving them is hard work , and in that era. ASI has done good conservation. The area is Huge with garden all around. You have toilets, drinking water, etc. Many guides available. Only hire the official one with ID card. Entry fee is ₹50 for Indians. Separate charges to go inside the main complex. Special shoes covers are available to wear it as shoe-on cover. This protects the marble. The view of Yamuna river is the best.

Experiencing the Taj Mahal at sunrise was absolutely mesmerizing. The soft morning light of the rising sun accentuated the monument's ethereal beauty, and the peaceful atmosphere added to the magic. A truly enchanting and unforgettable visit! Waking up at 4 a.m. was absolutely worth it to witness this breathtaking Wonder of the World.
