This is my favorite restaurant in whole ahmedabad. I used to study in Gandhinagar hostel. Whenever we friends use to travel grom ahmedabad Station, we use to halt here for food. The quality of the food has always been awesome with no compromise. Do try chicken crispy while ordering starter. Biriyani is also the best. When we use to come back from Mumbai to ahmedabad we use to hault over here in the morning specially to have chai maska bun.
In the middle of a busy bazaar this place is always packed. We sat upstairs which funnily reminded me of train coaches. You'll find all sorts of crowds here - from daily meal bachelors to full fledged joint families. We tried the Tangdi Kebab which was too damn delicious! And the Mutton Biriyani - with spicy masala and lotts of sofft pieces of mutton. This places is one of Times Hospitality Icons from 2019.

Best Non vegetarian food outlet in Gujarat ....It's Butter Biryani is unmatched ..... No one serves as genuine and as fresh as like these fellas does .... Will ask the authority to please make their outlets to other places in Gujarat like Gandhinagar with their royal mughal chefs .....Purely Unmatched Non Vegetarian Food Experience in my travel to Gandhinagar , Bhavnagar , Himmatnagar , Mehsana , Rajkot , Geer-Somnath & Diu.

Hotel Moti Mahal is a famous non veg eating joint located near the Ahmedabad railway station. Just a 5-10 minutes walk. Its a resaturant cum hotel. The AC family section is on the first floor. The ambience was good enough. We found the lighting a little dim. The service was prompt and above average. Now the main thing. Food😍. Well to be honest...after eating Mumbai food we didnt find it that extraordinary. The schezwan chicken was very spicy. The biryani was excellent..not too oily. We actually regretted not ordering it before 😂. So if u happen to go there...u can safely go for their Biryani. Its worth it. We rate it 3.5/5.

Royal club sandwich is a must try. Tea here is heaven. Although Amul butter is used in Muska-Bun instead of white muska but the Muska-Bun & Tea combo is a must have.
Moti Mahal is one of the good hotel serving excellent nov-veg even veg food are also mouthwatering. The one and only oldest hotel serving such delicious food.The money value is also budgeted. Celebrations gets double when food is at the taste and this is one of the place where your all celebrations gets double. Ambience is bit cosy but with light music and soft lights add charm to the hotel. Relaxing place to enjoy with families and friends. We settled for mix of veg n non-veg. I never had such a delicious and sumptuous “chicken tikka”, “paneer tikka” and “egg biryani.” Overall, it is good value for money. The staff is committed to customer service.

An iconic restaurant in the city of Ahmedabad I love this place for it's breakfast spread. Bun maska, kheema pav, and the lovely nihari and paya are to die for. The sweet tea is a perfect balance to the spiciness of the above dishes. When it comes to dining in for lunch and dinner, I find the nothing spectacular in taste. It is just good as any other mughlai restaurant around there.
A very old Restaurant in the heart of our town at Kalupur. The food here is completely like the Home cooked food from my Muslim Friends but really very tasty.. The prices are moderate. Place is clean. The only probs are a little Oily Food & Parking. Its on a one way road but u will get parking on the opposite side of the road. Keema Pav (Bread) is a must try. They make awesome Tea too. A must visit for Travellers and Ahmd locals too. Cheers.

Reached Ahmedabad and my first stop was at this place and it was great. It was morning 8 am and the place was bustling with people. Started off with a tea and butter bun. The tea as people say is too gud to be Ur normal morning tea. The butter bun was yum yum with thick layer of butter smeared. Ordered Nihari and a couple of rotis. The nihari was beautiful with falling off the bone meat and the very tasty gravy. I couldn't stop telling myself that it was too good for breakfast. Again bought that nice tea to sum it up.

All Time Favourite Restaurant. Best Non veg food. This restaurant is always crowded. Old restaurant in old City. Foil Tandoori Chicken Steaming Hot and Juicy. Butter Chicken was Delicious. Crispy Chicken & Chicken Lolypop Best Starter as always. Caramel Custard is yummy its my favourite.
Apart from traffic and congestion all seems fine,ambiance was not very sophisticated but they have a AC hall for families at first floor, which quite clean and well maintained, menu prices were different for the AC hall I guess, we ordered a. Chicken prep along with Roti and chicken chilly,portions served were satisfying, taste wise was even nice, I even liked that instrumental music they were playing..overall a nice place ..with very nice food . We decided to get some lip smacking non veg food... And with the help o landed here... And we were not at all disappointed... Food was good.... Service was fast and even at 3pm we got to eat food we wanted to..
Families have options to seat upstairs in AC family room... And additionally I could see some unique seating style where I could see people seeing upstairs in a Zarokha style windows... Worth the hardwork you put to get a parking space in this area...

We have visited this legendary place for Friday evening. It has two storey seating arrangements. We opted for ground floor. Ordered boneless butter chicken , rotis and famous chicken biriyani. Butter chicken was a bit higher on oil but tasted amazing. Chicken biriyani was also tasted good with fried onions and tender chicken leg pieces. Service was really quick. Surely Visit them again to taste more delicacies.
Ordered Chicken Chilly and Biryani. Chicken Chilli was good except for the too much of the garnishing. Biryani was spicy as I needed and as I asked it to be. Service- Good/Okay-ish. Will work.

Moti mahal is known for it's traditional and hereditary recipes,i too expected the same from the food and happy to discover that wasn't dissappointed. It's a well known and respected restaurant in whole ahmedabad.
The place has a nice ambience to it. Ordered chicken tikka and special mutton moti,mutton was just a regular rogan josh which was well prepared.

However if you have a problem with veg and non veg being cooked at the same place then this is not the place for you. Otherwise I will highly recommended this restaurant. This is not the chain of Moti Mahal but a Stan alone restaurant serving delicious food. Not to be missed
We tried butter Chicken, chicken mughlai,and this chicken crispy in started.it was very crispy and amazing and their kunafa is 3.5 out of 5 .over all experience was great. we were traveling and they gave us some space on ground floor to keep our league bags .they are slightly expensive bt it was worth it❣️

I reached Ahmedabad station at 4 am in the morning without a place to stay. I was roaming around the station when I found the Moti Mahal Hotel. Went upstairs and the boy at the reception promptly stood up and mentioned that rooms were available. The bonus point of this hotel is that it offers 24 hour check in service and is literally 5 mins walking distance from the railway station.
