This place is very peaceful and has very relaxing ambience. We ordered Mexican Tit Bit and Edible cigar. Both were above expectation. A must visit place for the ones who are looking for candle light and romantic dinner.

I am rating this place 5 star because of the location, ambiance, service and food. It is exceptional in all terms. We visited for dinner in a group of 8 people. Seating arrangement is very comfortable and spacious. We started with hot and sour soup, Mexican chilly bean soup and turkish kumpir. Soups were very good in taste and turkish kumpir had very rich stuffing in to backed potatoes. Then we had margarita pizza, mumbai magic pizza, dragon Manchurian, Arabiata pasta, Bangkok red curry and wok fried rice. We liked all the dishes especially Pizzas and pasta.

This place is AWESOME to visit during winter an summer due to its location and way it's setup. If you visit during monsoon you will be badly disappointed. Because of its outdoor ambience and pure candle light dinner with lovely music experience It's also famous for dating and young couples. Although we never faced issue even visiting with children and family.
Their Italian and Mexican food is different then other restaurants but will still give it 4.5/5 base on taste, uniqueness and quality.
Their sizzlers were once really awesome but quality of sizzlers has went down in past few years.
They also have separate indoor Punjabi restaurant with different name which is good but not outstanding. Doesn't makes sense either to travel outside city at such distance to seat indoor and eat Punjabi.
So far visited this place multiple times on birthday anniversary etc (from October to June) and tried different dishes and will give 4.5/5 for overall experience.
For visits between June to October (monsoon) will give 2.0/5

We have enjoyed a lot with family for my son's birthday party.
Decoration was wonderful with lots of Diyas (oil lamp), balloons and flowers.
Very beautiful view and garden. A perfect combination of testy food and wonderful nature.

What to say and where to start from... I mean everything was PERFECT :) The view and ambience is totally worth going far away from city area. The dim lights play the role to take ambience to another level. Adding romance with a candle light is what you all need is. Hospitality is on the marks where every person gives you proper and much needed attention. Food is beautifully garnished with satisfying your taste. I ordered "Manchow Soup", "Crispy Shell Tacos" and "Cinderalls Cart Sizzler" which was beyond expectations for R&D. I recommend everyone to try these whenever they visit the place. Coming next to prices which are aptly charged for the dishes. My Dinner Date was made by the restaurant.. Thank You People for the good work and services. Will surely see you soon again :)
Its a very good place for italian and maxican food...you can enjoy candle light dinner!!! I had ordered quesadillas, bruchetta...it was yum💯 and the pirates of carribean drink it was also good... 4/5 for piperade..

This is the best best best place to visit , located in the outskirts of ahmedabad. If you ever feel like that you need some peace and you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city , there won't be a better option than waterside. Both the food and the ambience are fantastic.
As the name says, it is a open restaurant on the side of the canal. It is a rare place which offers candle light dining for couples as well as families under the open sky. The food and the service are way too good.
Almost every thing I tried was perfect in taste as well as presentation. Some of the must have dishes are:
Litchi blossom mocktail and mojito- 4/5
Edible cigars- presented in small cookers, looks as well as tasted amazing
Khowsey soup- enough for 4 people and served with 8-10 different toppings. just fantastic.
Mexican hot pot- Again another delicious dish
Shangai paneer- Perfectly marinated paneer , a good starter.
Choco mud pot- A crumble of cake and cookie served with chocolate sauce. Best to end on a sweet note
Overall, you'll definitely have an amazing experience any day if you visit this place. Highly recommended !

Waterside - A perfect place to enjoy your dinner with your friends or family. And for couple it is best place. A place nearer to water canal , which serve candlelight dinner,far away from noise,clean sky where you can see lot of stars(because of less pollution) what else we need. This place is having both indoor and outdoor seating. They are having perfect ambiance with delicious food.
We had,
Khowsuey Soup - A perfect Khowsuey soup served amazingly. The taste of soup is very good. You can order it between 4 people.
Lichie Blossom Mocktail
Mint Mojito
-Mocktails were also really good here. They served it really amazing. . Mint mojito was perfect mojito. Where Litchi Blossom was quite unique and very refreshing. Must try that Litchi blossoms.
Edible cigar-It was served very nicely in cute tiny cookers. If you love cheese you must try it.
Shanghai paneer Platter - A tandoori panner served with green chutney and salad.
Chocolate Mud Pot - A perfect dessert after perfect dinner. They served it with melted thick chocolate syrup. It was really delicious.
Overall experience is amazing. A very great hospitality with great staff. And their presentation is awesome. Must visit place. Take a good time and visit this place.

Mocktails were very good fusion of Fresh fruit with curd. I love Pineapple flavoured one. balanced taste of tanginess & sweetness.

Beet root & peanut butter tikkis were upto the mark with very good presentation. Nd some spicy wasabi flavoured dip. .
Khausay soup- what a Presentation. I must say bfor eating the food, (its a human nature) that we rate the food by its look. .
They served this coconut flavoured soup with 10 toppings separate. Soup tasted good and gives feeling of satisfaction in cool ambiance.

Chhole with Pitta bread- tasty and healthy combo. As chhole served with pitta . Good option. .
Chocolate Mud pot- served with thick chocolate sauce. It has a layer of thick chocolate, chocolate ice cream and oreo biscuit crumble . It’s a chocolaty affair.
Perfect in taste . (Will visit soon for this ❤️).

The ambiance of this place has always been superlative and now the menu has been re-curated and completely revamped which is evident enough that this place should be included in the limited list of fine dine places of Ahmedabad.
The Orange and Pineapple Smoothies served in simple tall grass were kept orthodox, rich in texture and ample in quantity.
Beetroot and Peanut Butter Patties was a surprising fuision that worked out very well.
This place has never dissapointed with sizzler, and so was the case this time. It was bang on.
Amritsari Chhole with Pita Bread was another fusion. Amritsari chhole had utmost authentic taste and was going very well with fresh, soft and warm pita bread.
Indian main course was prepared with perfection and dedication.
Chocolate mud pot was the perfect desert to end the lavish dinner at such amazing ambiance.
In and all, it was blissful experience in terms of food as well as ambiance.
If u r food then plz cone and visit this place also if u r a lover or you want to make someone feel special just like I feel today then this is the place to be...

#khowsuey soup- presentation was really good and it was served with many toppings to add in soup. Soup was yum. Must try.
#mocktails- very well balanced flavours and refreshing.
#edible cigar- deep fried rolls filled with lots of cheese. Served with salsa sauce. Definitely must try for cheese lovers.
#shanghai paneer - basically it’s barbecue paneer. Paneer Quantity was up to the mark. Served with green chutney and salad. Do try if you are fan of tandoori paneer.
#burritos served in jar- The best dish I tried. Wrap filled with veggies and served with 5 type of sauce.
#maxican tit bit- Mexican rice with special Mexican preparation curry. Curry was made from tomato, veggies, paneer.
#chocolate mud pot- If you want to end up dinner with some chocolate dessert then this is perfect.

"The Water Side" is one of the leading restaurants from many years. But now they came with Bang. They renovated the whole ambience and introduced another level of beauty.
Now it's also added in my favorite list. The garden seating is designed really well and there seems to be extra effort laid in it. Evening view at sunset time and night lighting at the place is love. 😍😍 Perfect place for candle light dinner under beautiful sky near River side.
They have two different restaurants under " The Water Side". One is "Piperade" which is specialised in Mexican, Chinese, Italian and Thai. Another is "August" which is specialed in Continental and North Indian.
They have highly trained professional staff and nice hospitality. With wide range of menu.
And the best part was their food matched the expectation along the beautiful ambience.
I liked their garden seating and lighting most. Must try this place 😍👌
really awesome place. ambiance is 10/10.. perfect for families as well as couples.. they have different set ups for different cuisines.. piperade, August (indian cuisines) Deck etc.. food was really really to the point.tasty.. my most favourite on the menu was edible cigars.. The presentation of food was also great. must visit place especially for Mexican food. staff was polite and so were managers and owners.. The main thing I liked about them is that the owners are themselves chef.. so they can make their food better. most of restaurant's owners know nothing about cooking so they can't judge their own food.. but waterside lead in that... overall really great place and food
Recently I visited The Waterside almost after 4 years, and this visit has changed my perception about this place. This place was the one of the leading restaurants to popularize Thai cuisine and Sizzlers in Ahmedabad and that impression hadn't left my mind.
To my surprise, they have done tremendous work with fusion food, which is kinda need of the hour as everyone is serving and loving it.
I tried fruit smoothies including orange and pineapple
Had Beetroot and peanut butter Tikkis, which were served with a Wasabi-Mayo dip, a mind-boggling dish 💯
Next favorite was Chole served with Pita Bread, this tasted different yet delicious, a must try 👌
Of course we had their special sizzlers and Punjabi main course, all good stuff
Lastly, we ended it with a Chocolate Mud Pot, which was poured with chocolate sauce, a treat for your eyes as well as your taste buds 🤤🍫
They also have one of the best ambiance, making this place a perfect for a peaceful date or family dinner

Oh my my!! Ambience of this place is lit. 💕 Perfect place for romantic dates. Food is tasty too, but I like the ambience more. Very spacious. Can go with friends and family too. Place is really nice. Location of the place is really great, near Narmada river and fine dine under the stars always from the city lights. We ordered Jain bruschetta and Jain edible cigars for starters and they were tasty(4/5). Cigar’s serving was really cute. For main course we had some paneer sizzler(*i forgot the name) and it was okayish.(3/5)
Excellent food, excellent overwhelming service - this is for you. One of the best restaurants i have visited in recent times. The menu is so detailed that you would love to order all of them, so in short you need multiple visits to this place to enjoy their offerings. The outdoor ambiance is brilliant. Amazing Ambience, Superb Food, Service can be Improved!
✓ Ambience - Located just near the River side & it being a park based Cafe gives you amazing feel at evening & night times. There are fountains in the periphery of your Seating & Candle lights at night time which makes it perfect place for Couples as well.
On the other side, The candles were kept in glass containers which weren't clean, this can be improved. There were some nails coming out of the Table we sat on, that could tear the clothes & should be taken care of.
✓ Food - We had 30inch family size Pizza. It was huge and cost us ₹1000 without taxes but was worth it. Amazing. Even the drinks were nice, Fresh lime & Holy water for instance.
✓ Presentation - Was up to the mark. They brought bill in a post office box setup which was again quite different.
✓ Service - It was good but could be improved, The waiters brought the bill while we were having Food, As soon as the food was over they told us to vacate. These things could have been improved quite a lot.

It was one of my most memorable night of life. Visited couple of times before but this time it was special. I had very nice candle light dinner with someone special. Music was superb. Ambience and the dark energy was quite appealing to me. However food was okay and service was also not upto the mark. Still I m giving 4 star ratings only n only for atmosphere and the night....
Food quality is good. Service is very nice. If you looking for Mexican food with candle light dinner then this would be great place but if you looking for regular Punjabi food then there are lots of places which are better.

I visited this restaurant very recently and I found that the ambience was pretty great and they've really got a good amount of space to explore the seating arrangements. The construction of the dome (I don't know if that serves a seasonal shade purpose or not) was the best part apart from the kind of seating they had.
Service was bit of a problem because there were many miscommunications happening amongst the waiters and the group I was with, but the staff was polite enough to not really argue. So, the service has to be cut some slack for their presence of mind and maturity of handling issues and the service.
Food was great, especially one of the fruit drinks (I forgot the name but still) was amazing. The noodles were a bit too salty for my taste (but then again, I don't put too much salt in my food, so maybe the saltiness felt a lot to me). The spaghetti, oreo shakes and the pizza were amazing.

Credit for 3.5 rating goes to ambience and the Burmese Soup. If you are a true soup lover, please try the Burmese Soup there. You will simply love it. In addition to Burmese Soup, I ordered Wok Fried Rice, Hunters Shashilk Sizzler and the Crispy Taquitos for starters. Taquitos and Wok Fried Rice were of Average quality and the Shashilk Sizzler was of below average quality. Hope they improve the quality of these three items in future. Overall, it is a nice place to eat and have fun with your friends and family.

The place is precious for couples and candle light dinner.
We tried hot and sour , manchaow and sour lite soup. In starter we have dragon ball which is stuffed with veggies and cheese which are tasty. Baked pinneapple macroni was also good.
In main course we tried cheese butter masala (cheesy), panner lawabdar (ok ok) , butter roti and garlic naan.
Jeera rice and dal fry was yum and we also tried steam rice and thai curry.
Last one is masala buttermilk.
Overall experience is good. Price are little bit high but worth for place and quality of food.

Food quality is good. Ample parking and seating space. Indoor and outdoor dining areas. Outdoor dining space opens after 7:00 pm. Scenic views of the Narmada Canal combined with beautiful gardens gives you a serene dining experience.
The quality of food was good and the quantity was a lot. The prices are a bit higher than other restaurants but you'll get what you paid for. I've attached some photos of the taco and the sizzler I ordered. Also I've attached a video of the special preparations they do for couples (though it wasn't for me).
The menu offers a wide variety of items, from seafood to sandwiches and more. I opted for the grilled salmon and it was cooked to perfection. The vegetable side dish was also delicious, and the portion size was generous. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive, making sure that our drinks were full and our food came out quickly
The location of this place is very beautiful .. it's on the sideways of a canal and during monsoon it's even more beautiful. Before covid it used to have an upper deck overseeing the canal and an ac restaurant on the ground floor. The food is decent and has limited variety and is a pure vegetarian restaurant. As you walk in,there is a sanitization frame and there is social distancing in place.
It's a place where you enjoy the natural view and food together away for the urban city setting.
