One evening, I shared with a friend, "I want to have eggs today.." She instantly suggested, "SandwichWorkz can satiate your egg cravings." I have had great times at Sandwich WorkZ before yesterday...with some cool people. I had Sandwiches earlier; the one with Banana and syrup and last night I just had yummy eggs and Butter Toast in dinner. The Masala soda was just a perfect blend too!
Must admit that Mumbai is in Ahmedabad... SW is one of its kind cafe offering crazy loads of good books to give you company if you are alone, a light music and a personal touch to each serve they make. I just love the way they present and keep a small place so happening!! Just because they serve non veg also, vegetarians shouldn't go disheartened. They have made sure that! :-)

Yesterday we visited SandwichworkZ. There was some confusion with our order because of Sunday rush. The lady (aunty) there was so nice to offer us a Caramel Custard complimentary and she was very apologetic too.
It is a kind of customer service that turns a dissatisfied customer to delighted customer. Many restaurant owners need to learn what customer service is and to what length people go to keep the customers happy.
Not to mention the food that we ordered was yumm! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED:)

Fusion food is a pretty common term in cooking circuit these days. But, getting a proper fusion food, Sandwichworkz works on its cooking styles and flavors. Here you will find home style food i.e. less salty and spicy. In fact curries used in dishes are so fresh as well as no ready-made sauces were used. They are pretty much peculiar about the ingredients they use in their dishes, they are high grade quality ingredients like desi ghee where ghee is part of any traditional recipe dish.

Colorful breakfast to brighten up a grey day!! If you have never heard of Veg. Shakshuka (like me), then get ready to have your mind blown with this healthy, inexpensive and delicious dish from @sandwichworkz_ahm. Generally, it is made with eggs dropped in but what I had tried was without eggs, their are many variations of it, but the base consist of a tomato sauce flavored with garlic, onions, cumin, cayenne pepper and paprika. ⠀

Apart, from healthy and fancy breakfast options they do serve amazing mocktails and dishes from different cuisine!! They serve both Veg. Went to this place with my fiance. We had the Big Daddy American Breakfast and Signature Club Sandwich... It's the best place to have a whole hearted brunch. We were really happy with the food and plan to make a ritual for every week!

Ordered shakshouka and hash brown for a Sunday brunch. Believe me, this is a decent place to have a lazy Sunday brunch with good seating and staff that's always smiling. Food is served without much waiting.
Now comes the taste of the food that they serve. It was my first time with shakshouka and for someone who loves egg this will be love at first bite. Along with a bowl of shakshouka, you're given two bread toasts. I feel they could have served just another toast or maybe garlic bread instead of a simple toast. Had no issues with hash browns. I loved it ( shakshouka) so much that I would try making it at my home. 4.5/5 for shakshouka.
We found the restaurant browsing zomato. The place is superb small fizzy with nice windows. The food was really fantastic. I also loved the coffee . A very different taste I came for breakfast I will come again for lunch
Adorable small place. You get greeted by the owner every time you visit. Seating isn’t that cosy, but the place is lively and food is scrumptious. Everything on the menu is worth trying. Place is usually crowded, better make prior reservations.

Simple and small place. Staff is cooperative. But their variety of English breakfast is the star. Colourful menu they have. May be a small pace for Hangout. If you are non-vegetarian then this place is worth for your English breakfast.
Good food. It's really good for the sandwich lovers as they have very good different types of delicious sandwiches. Especially paneer and cheeze are definitely too good. Really nice.
Finally found the right place for a perfect breakfast. The place is nice small and cozy with a homely vibe to it. The menu is apt and quaint with good choices for both veg and non veg. A must try for everyone looking for a proper meal in morning.
Ordered the basic pancake with maple syrup and butter for brunch and I can’t get over how perfect they were.
The pancakes were delivered hot and fluffy, a reasonably big size with three pancakes in total.
They were packaged separately along with a small packet of butter and a container of maple syrup.
A wholesome and filling breakfast for sure, nothing pretentious is what the description says.
Will definitely order again to try different flavours.

Ahmedabad has amazing food and options. This place is simple and has very tasty food. Cheese items are taken very seriously and loaded with so much cheese. Ensure to have enough appetite to eat and consume calories when you go.
This super pretty cafe which has pictures of places all around the world on the walls, is cozy and intriguing at the same time. It serves one of the best (if not the best) brunch in Ahmedabad!

This is one of the best places for non veg food in Ahmedabad. Especially love their Biryani, which I'm told by the lady there, is fashioned after the Karachi Biryani. Their sandwiches are very filling and to die for. Anytime I'm confused about what to order or where to eat, SandwichWorkz is a total no-brainer!
I visited Sandwichworkz last week and I am impressed by this place, i really like the menu it has many healthy options and the food quality Is really good.
I think that people who are diet conscious would really like this place cause of the healthy meal available here.

SandwichworkZ has been our go-to place for Sunday brunch since quite a while now. The cosy ambience, the delectable food, and their well-stacked bookshelves are enough to keep one going back to the place over and over again!
Our standard order at the place is Big Daddy's American Breakfast which comes with pancakes, scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes, sausages, coffee and guava juice. The pancakes are the best I've tasted in Ahmedabad, the scrambled eggs are fluffy and the mashed potatoes are creamy. The sausages were well-cooked and coffee and juice were great accompaniments to the meal. Considering how the breakfast tray is enough for two, the price is also quite nominal. Their pancakes are the best we've tasted in Ahmedabad and we'd highly recommend them.

I have been visiting this place since start. Run by an elderly couple who do not compromises on the hospitality part anytime. Everytime I visit I think of choosing something new from the menu; however most of the times I end up ordering the same thing. Planning to cover all soon.
What a lovely place for English breakfast! Go for it if you love English breakfast in the morning. Best!! It is usually packed though. I wouldn’t mind going here again and again...
We had a cheese mushroom shakshuka, and it was entirely avoidable. It wasn’t bad. It was just too ordinary, and didn’t stand out in any way.
But loved the pancakes with the syrup. Keep on craving for them - soft, baked evenly to perfection, and the lovely syrup.

The place is crowded usually on dinner time not because of having smaller space but because of their popularity. They have best mouth drooling sandwiches in their menu. The staff & service is also very up to the mark according to the place. The dishes they serve is perfectly balanced in terms of taste & the price is also satisfactory. The only problem they are not having any proper parking facility.
Had the chicken biryani and mashed potatoes. Must admit, both was super delicious. Best biryani I have ever had. Mashed potatoes was so good and I feel bad for underestimating it before I ordered.
Without a doubt one of my favorite places in ahmedabad I would recommend to everyone .IT's a cozy place and a perfect hangout spot with some comfort food. The highlight is of course the quantity for the price,easy on the pocket for college students like me. I would recommend going there for an early breakfast and have one of their breakfast meals in between the morning buzz. Perfect way to start the morning.

This is one of the few places which serves good breakfast during "breakfast hours" in Ahmedabad! There are not many cafes which open early in here.
We ordered egg and cheese + hash brown with dips + cold coffee. We totally loved the food. I'd recommend this place to any breakfast lovers out there.

The hungryman’s breakfast is the ideal one for a leisurely sunday brunch (well almost). The waffles and sausages have always been extremely tasty. Been there multiple times and the place doesnt disappoint. The only grief is that its mostly packed and getting a table could be tough. But the hosts are an amazing couple

Tried their High Protein Low carbs breakfast, a high priced but truly healthy way to start the day. Loved their grilled chicken salad sandwich. Worth trying again.
To begin with, most of the food is absolutely delicious! However, the ajwain paratha and butter chicken could use a world of difference. The ambience is relaxing and soothing which is a major plus point since it helps you drown out the traffic right outside. The one major pain point for me here has always been the slow service which they definitely need to work on. All in all, the place is good for a visit or two with friends/family if you are going for a leisurely meal.
Umm actually I wanted to give 3.5 but I'll have to give 4 as Zomato didn't let you give the decimal reviews now.
This place had been on my list since a while and I finally visited it yesterday and it was buzzing! This joint is located at a prime location and it surely takes the benefit of it. Though the is small, the seating arrangement is such that they can accommodate maximum people.
Talking about food, we had the Cheese chilly toasts (4 stars) which were really cheesy! Then we had the amazing Veg. Cheese Burger (4 stars) which felt a bit overpriced but tasted amazing! Then we had the litchi and orange crushers which were well below par and highly dissatifsctory! Wouldn't recommend trying them but the food is worth trying!
Would love to visit again and try other offerings!
Came with my office colleagues for Breakfast and it was amazing. Had the all American breakfast which was filling. The pan cakes were soft and just melted in the mouth.

The best restaurant in Ahmedabad, hands down! Every dish is scrumptious. And the people who run this amazing place are the nicest, most gracious hosts! Not living in Ahmedabad anymore, but do make it a point to visit if I can.

Waffle with Maple Syrup and Butter - The best breakfast waffle I've tried. Huge size and syrup is enough to cover it all in it. Taste is perfect. Crispy outside but soft at core.
Crispy Waffle - Different type, hard and crispy waffle. Thin and slightly overcooked. Also tried its cinnamon variant with tiramisu syrup. Both were good.
Chocolate Pancakes - 3 big tasty Pancakes enough to completely fill you up, warm and fresh with chocolate syrup.
Waffle Sundae - Waffle topped with Chocolate syrup and 4 ice cream scoops. Good but not great.
Also sandwiches are good too.
So I ordered a Chicken Tikka Sandwich and a Juicy Chicken Burger.
Starting with the sandwich the chicken tasted good but the overall sandwich was not upto the mark, Still I would say it was good.
Coming to the burger, It was a real heart throb for me. I totally looooved the taste of this burger till the last bite i had. Chicken was cooked really really well and the combination of chicken and egg was delicious! The portion size was perfect (slightly on the bigger side to fit in mouth, which is a good thing obviously 😋😍)
So overall i loved this place and am gonna try it more! 😇👌🏻
This is one of my favourite places. I have tasted many items here but my favourites ones are egg dosa with shredded chicken and watermelon ice tea.
Had ordered chill chicken with egg fried rice .liked the rice bt chilli chicken was not so nice.service is excellent. The caramel custard Is a must try in the menu. It's amazing.

I ordered “Hungry Young Man’s Breakfast” and try my goodness. The portion was huge, service is verry hospitable.
Best part I like about the restaurant is you can custom made the omelette, choose cold coffee over hot and ask for more butter 😄

It's a good place to crash in for a fusion breakfast. We tried American breakfast combo and it was heavy (for one) as well as delicious. A must go place for people who are bored of Indian cuisine breakfasts.
This place is an absolute delight. Modest yet fantastic. Been here twice. The egg dishes are amazing. Tried the egg dosa and chicken curry. It is to die for. The shakshoukas are too good. Omelette sandwiches are filling and yummy.

I visited SanwichworkZ very often. Aunty and Uncle are very polite and generous. I used to have non veg dishes whenever I visit this place. They prepared very tasty chicken sandwich. I also liked Cheese Omlete and Chicken Salad.
The food is amazing, non veg lovers will like it. But for people like me who live egg, try the egg curry and rice. You also have a bunch of books , you can grab any read till your food is ready.

Sandwichworkz has been our go to place since the time it opened when we were college kids. We were doing an event at IIMA Chaos and saw Himanshu uncle and aunty set up a stall at the event. We tried the food during that time and have been a regular at the cafe.
My wife and I have dated at this place and now we go there as a married couple. The cafe has managed to keep its charm even after all these years and they serve some of the best comforting food whether it is for brunch, lunch, evening snacks or dinner.
We have tried a lot of dishes here right from omelletes, pancakes, sandwiches and more but some of the best food that we have had at Sandwichworkz are:

We have shifted to Bangalore since the last 6 months and every weekend we think about eating at Sandwichworkz at least once. Have to plan a trip to Ahmedabad soon and relive the magic of their food.

Went here for a weekend lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The menu was rich with plenty of veg and nonveg options. We tried the chicken juicy burger, chatpata aloo sandwich (ask for green chutney with it if you like), cheese garlic bread, hashbrowns (although these felt like frozen McCain patties) and a bowl of savouries (fried egg with tomatoes and potatoes) along with fresh orange juice and coffee. No complaints for any dish, and we can't wait to go back to try more of their menu. The cafe may be a little difficult to find for someone unfamiliar to the place, but the interior has plenty light and spacious. Do check out the decor on the walls, and the interesting book collection they have to offer. Would definitely be a regular place to eat/order from if I lived around the area. Will definitely visit again.

Pancakes I have tried for the first time and it was delicious and soft as well, the maple syrup was good having said that pasta has it is own charm I would love to have this again!

A quaint little cafe situated in the heart of Ahmedabad, I had been missing my Sunday breakfasts that I usually had in Pune, omelettes, scrambled eggs, pancakes etc, after doing a lot of research I stumbled upon this place! We drove in all the way from Gandhinagar and met our friend here for breakfast, which was an absolute delight! It did take some time, due to them being understaffed at the moment, but we loved the food. Top breakfast destination for sure!
We ordered the Veg Shakshouka which was served with 2 slices of bread, it was definitely the best dish we had here, and that’s something considering I’m a non vegetarian. Next we had the big daddy American breakfast with coffee, juice, mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, toast, and 3 pancakes. Everything was just right, and I must say the quantity was enough for 2. We also ordered a chicken omelette which again was a delight! Will visit again to try the savoury waffles and egg dosa!

This is one of the best fusion cuisine places. What makes it better is that it is one of the relatively few places in Ahmedabad which offers excellent meat dishes. Almost everything you order is excellent. The ice tea flavours are excellent (apple cinnamon, watermelon etc). They have moved to the basement of the same building which is a little sad as their original location had a nice quaint feel to it, and the new one is low on ambience and more of a college canteen ambience
Really great a place! Recommend for an early American breakfast, which is a rarity to find in Ahmedabad! They are open from 8.30 in the morning till 11.30 at night. They have everything from waffles to pancakes to burgers and more. My personal favourite is their take on the Israeli dish Shakshouka. Their portion size is filling, cost is very reasonable and place is cozy and casual. Now they have moved to the basement space which is quite spacious compared to the previous ground floor congested cafe. The only difficulty is in finding a convenient parking slot near to the place.
