It was a great experience!! Food was really nice and service was pretty good. Paneer butter masala and paneer tufani which was really delicious.
We like to eat Indian cuisine . Thus while we were in Ahmedabad. We went to one of the most famous restaurants in Ahmedabad that is Bawarchee (Navrangpura) . Its ambience!!!! Oh my god! It is fantabulous! The interior of the restaurant would definitely make you very happy before the food comes. We ordered one Malai Kofta, one Paneer Tikka Masala , one Navarantana korma, and butter naans . Panner tikka Masala had perfect spices. Malai kofta was good and kofta were soft and Navaratana korma also tasted awesome. It was so amazing that we are going to visit this place again! This place has a good quality of food with perfect ambience. Recommended! 💙

I have never been to Bawarchee before even though living in Ahmedabad past 12 yrs. Because I always felt to have something which we don’t eat at home. But I was wrong, Bawarchee experience was amazing!
We had Raja Kebab - it was rolled in a crisp papad and taste delicious. Broccoli Almond Soup was rich with broccoli pieces. Paneer Kadhai - spices were right amount and the taste was definitely different like what we usually get at the other places. Vegetable Dum Biryani was a little dry in masalas but not bad in taste. Vegetable Grilled Sizzler is one thing I am gonna come back here again! It was amazingly delicious.
Though it is a an old restaurant but the ambiance and decor is soothing. Picture of horses and seating make the place a little royal. Parking can be an issue during peak hours / weekends.
I can't. Believe that it's the first time ever in my life .. I visited a restaurant and I just added up a more soya sauce in my soup and the staff member came to know about it and it was just beyond my imagination he changed me the whole soup it was unbelievable ... All over food was awesome I'll rate 10/10 this shows how the gentleman actually are .... Loved the food .. loved the staff and loved the ambience too .. thank you and God bless the person

I was in Ahmedabad for some work and visited this place for lunch on a friend's recommendation.
I am totally in love with their French onion cheese soup. Masala Papad and chaas were good. Rotis were soft and the sabzi was delicious.

Ambience was good and quiet. Had been there with family twice or thrice. We ordered soup which is very economical and good taste. We have had excellent starters as crispy veg. After that we ordered sizzler, which was average in the taste. Biryanis are very good there. Services is good when less crowded.
One can never get disappointed with the Punjabi they serve. Right amount of spices with fairly enough quantity. Even the noodles and Rice's that we ordered were great but can't beat Punjabi. Perfect venue for having a proper meal.

Laccha partha i guess isn't good for ordering home delivery . It dries out . Also I found it lil undercooked .
But thumps up for gravy and biryani .
Ordered the chefs special balti paneer. It was great! Good taste. And I would recommend it. To go with we had hariyali naan and dal makhani. Both were also good. Had a Hawaiian punch mocktail. All in all I'd say its definitely a very good place to eat some tasty north indian food.

One of those pocket friendly reliable restaurants that have survived in the city for a commendable period of time. Creating a loyal foodie clientele. They don't charge hefty for a decent and comfortable ambiance along with some heavy duty fast service. We went there on a Sunday afternoon not much of a rush and their staff was catering well on all tables.
We went there to give a very dear friend of my husband a great before he flew off to London to settle down. He had made it clear that he wanted to eat north Indian vegetarian food. So we ended up going to this place after a lot of contemplation.

While searching for a good place and shortlisting saffron in Navrangpura, we suddenly bumped into this beautiful place. Good and fast service, delicious food, budget friendly and nice ambience. Alongwith many other delicacies I tried the Mexican starter chimichanga with corn cheeze balls, it was awesome!

I have been eating at this place since 2005. This place was introduced to me by room mates during my college days. I used to stay just opposite to this restaurant. Whenever our cook was on leave, this was the place we visited without a second thought.
Recently, I visited this place after a span of 4 years with my college buddy. By the time I entered felt nostalgic. Ordered Balti Paneer which was really tasty. Combination of 2 kind of gravies complemented each other. We ordered cheese naan and it was loaded with cheese n cheese n more cheese. It's really hard to have one cheese naan and than eat some other dishes.
Finally order my personal favourite of this place which are Dal Tadka and Jeera Rice. Tasted same like the one I used to have during my college days.
Nominal pricing of dishes is also a good reason to visit this place.

Had gone here for dinner yesterday and ordered three drinks (The Hawaiian Punch, The Snake Bite, March 1st 2003), Assorted kebab platter, Paneer Sajani, cheese & haryali naan.
Drinks were really unique as their names n were pretty good. Really liked the kebab platter but the Paneer dish was average.
As per the menu Paneer Sajani has stuffed cottage cheese but when what we had didn't have stuffed paneer.. None of the Paneer pieces were stuffed.
Cheese Naan was over stuffed with cheese n was quite salty than it should actually be.
I have been here quite a few times before because I really like the ambience as well as the food but yesterday's food had a tad bit of taste issues.
We had veg jaipuri, boondi raita and roti. Simply delicious food with quick service. Tasty food at regular price rate. I would be happy to visit this place again whenever i get a chance.
I just love the freshness of this place.....this has been always a strikeout for dining. They are best in their own league......trust me on this - if you are looking for quality ...... You will love it.
Sometimes the waiters pick up the moment and have arguments....audible at your table especially if you are occupying a corner. That I felt was let down . But who cares.....it's the food that takes a priority rest follows in a package hence 4 rating.
I have ordered online throught the resturant, they have prompt delivery service and the food is every bit the worth of money. One of the best dal makhani in Ahmedabad. Qudos guys. Hope to have similar service in the long run. Ps. I request low oil and they hit it right.. 🍻

My first visit here and boy am I impressed !! The staff polite right from when you enter ! Very courteous and prompt to take care of you !!
Coming to the food, Hara Kebab, this plate of Kebab is some of the best in town I've had, smooth Melt in you mouth cutlet perfectly spiced with some peanuts inside giving you a nice crunch, paired with that Mint Chutney, perfect !! Ohhh before the Kebab's do give a try to their Masala Papad, I know it's just a fried Papad with some Salad tossed on top, but not a lotta place do that simple thing well, and this one does !
Paneer Badshahi, pieces of Cottage Cheese stuffed with herbs and cooked in a brown onion based Gravy ! As the name says, its pretty royal, mild on the spice and heat but rich from the use of the cashew paste, absolutely delicious !
The Mixed Veg preparation, I guess Veg Kolhapuri it was, spicy, tomato based red Gravy, Veggies still retained their crunch !! All in all a very decent preparation !!!
All of this I moped up with some Butter Roomali Roti, damnn this is some good Roti !!
That's it overall loved the ambience with the soft music in the background,the comfortable seating, the clever lighting all working in harmony to create a warm dining place, the polite staff ! Well worth a visit !!

Nice, comfortable, old world restaurant with excellent North Indian food and service. We had traditional tandoori fare, and it was all excellent. The menu is vast with serval innovative items and I would highly recommend going off the beaten track of paneer-Alu-chole-mix veg when you go there.

We have visited Bawarchi for family dinner. We all just loved it's tasty food. If you like spicy n masaledar punjabi dishes then you should try this hotel. Must try paneer masale ke kathi roll, paneer chilli, roomali roti, kadhai paneer afghani and kadhai kofta.

Its a very superb place to hang out! We got great italian, mexican dishes and drinks. Including 8 ball pool for entertainment, which cost you 100 ruppee per half an hour for table. Everything is in good condition. Good ambience!!
