This is not a restaurant. Its part of my childhood. Visiting it since i was a kid and same taste and quality. Cheese butter masala is a must try.
I have been eating out at Mehfil for more than 25 years and the taste and the quality has been absolutely consistent. While the Ambience is average, it makes you feel very comfortable. The service has a personal touch and the menu is extensive. One of my favourite dish is Kaju Butter Masala. A place light in the pocket but heavy on the stomach :) Definitely worth trying. Ambience - 2/5. Service - 5/5, Food - 5/5 and an additional rating parameter for consistency because this place is pretty old - 5/5!

I am writing this review in respect of Mr.Indrapalsingh Bhatia. I would like to narrate an experience shared by my wife. This happened yesterday when she and my Mother-in-law visited Mehfil restaurant to collect their food parcel. Order was quick and food was prepared in no time. They left restaurant and my wife was taking her vehicle out and my Mother-in-law was holding food parcel. Accidentally food parcel slipped from my mother-in-law's hands and fell on ground. All food was wasted. As our 05 year old son and old age aunt were eagerly waiting for food at home hence my wife decided to go back and reorder . She repeated the same order at front desk. Mr.Indrapalsingh surprisingly asked her for repeating the order. My wife explained him the scenario. Then she took her wallet out for payment. At her surprise Mr.Indrapalsingh denied to accept money as this was an accident. Not only that he sent his personal to carry parcel till my wife and Mother-in-law set on their vehicle. Listening to this my Mother-in-law had tears in her eyes. Mr. Indrapalsingh You have inspired me today with your kindness and generosity. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and colleagues not just for is great tasting food but also for Mr.Inderpalsingh who owns this place. Everything would be better if more people were like you! Your community and family is lucky to have you arround. This restaurant is one of the oldest in town and food quality is great. Same taste whenever we go. Must try for Punjabi lover. Prompt service as well.
Lip smacking and delicious Punjabi food!! The food they serve is very fresh. The quantity is sufficient.
It's not one of your pompous overpriced Punjabi restaurants that you find at Prahaladnagar. Mehfil provides good hardcore Punjabi food at a reasonable rate.
Ambience is pleasent for a family dinner
This is unfortunately the most underrated Punjabi restaurant in Ahmedabad.
Mehfil is very much close to our heart. It has been more than they have been serving and we have been their regular customer for dinner, lunch and home delivery.
There will be rarely anytime item in their menu which we haven’t had. They are service wheat based rotis and chappatis and their usp is all north indian subjis in Green and Read Gravy.
It’s our first choice when we have to go with family and have a great full and satisfying tummy. :-)

After Chawla3 exodus from Ahmedabad there are few authentic punjabi food chains left....here is old & gold mehfil with their simple menu but very tasteful & dhaba styled Delicacies.. must visit place....
This place is famour for authentic Punjabi Food because I remember back when i visited the owner himself was a Punjabi.
Taste of the food is excellent but i didn't like it, maybe because it was more of an authentic Punjabi taste since i as a Gujarati have a habit of having a little sweetish base in all.
Overall food was good. If you like to try something truly authentic you can definately visit this place and give a try.

Amazing punjabi food.. best i have ever had. Its not a big place but the food it serves is truely mouth watering and amazing. Must try dal makhani and any paneer vegetable..

Read about mehfil on a Facebook group and decided to try it. The restaurant is run by Punjabi family and they have been running it for decades now. The quality and quantity were great. There is a parking problem in the complex where the restaurant is situated but it is almost everywhere at the moment

Pocket friendly and we'll known restaurant in Paldi area. They serve white tandoori roti that is the best part. Test of all the dishes are almost like our homemade Punjabi food that is also good but regarding interior they need to improve it.
Proper sitting space for waiting customers is one the many USPs of this place. They serve some amazing Punjabi dishes be it a vegetable sabzi or a panner sabzi. The taste is almost near to a pure home-made Punjabi food. They need to improve on their Mehfil Special Sabzi. We ordered it spicy but it came sweet. Prompt service and order management is perfect combo.

Umm.. it's located in such a cozy corner of the town that it's not visible from normal traffic view nowadays.
You can find it just opposite of the most popular Jain Dharnidhar derasar ,Vasna.
The entrance is pretty cool. The waiting area is allocated just in~front of the main door which becomes quite uncomfortable in many instances.
There's usually a wait time of 20 minutes no matter what day it is. Also, it is always crowded. But here it attracts the most trendy and classy crowd just because of it's taste.
It's a perfect family restaurant. 🤗
Well, talking about ambience; then I'd like to say that things could be much more better. Being such a small place you would always here the talks of your neighbours table !! 😅 However, the interior is now lit awesome !!!

However, I'd like to add that one should never try it's Mehfil special Punjabi sabzi ,believe me guys it was hell pathetic in taste !!! It was really very untasty and flavourless. Best Cheese Naan I’ve ever had
Ever since my cousin introduced me to this place few years back, I’ve been a fan of their Cheese Naan. It’s quite simply the best Cheese Naan I’ve ever had. I’m a person with a good appetite and even I struggle to eat more than one naan. Their Cheese Naan is so good, you can eat it even without any main course. And pair it with any paneer dish (Paneer Bhurjee or Paneer Tikka) and you’ll be full to the brim. It’s a shame that they only serve veg food because with a chicken dish, this Naan would taste even amazing. Nonetheless it’s a great place for some hearty Punjabi dishes. 😋

Nice old place serving Punjabi thalis in Paldi area of Ahmedabad since 1948. Great food and reasonable prices too. Only vegetarian options here. Other main course dishes available too but we opted for the thali. It came with a soup and different vegetables with rice and rotis. Only drawback was there was a choice between buttermilk and sweet dish which I found very strange as both should have been available.
Today, my team and I are in Ahmedabad for the annual Gujarat Photo-Video Fair. After a tiring day, we decided to get a late dinner at this cozy little restaurant at Paldi. The ambience intrigues me - it looks like a cozy little Indian Bar in a dry state. The food and the service were pretty good though. We started off with some rotis along with paneer tikka masala and veg handi. After which we ordered dal khichidi. I enjoyed the meal and the restaurant is pretty reasonably priced. I do recommend coming here at least once.

My current visit to Mehfil Restaurant was after a gap of 18 years. I used to frequently eat there prior to that and then moved out of Ahmedabad. I got exactly the same experience even after such a long duration. The food is amazing tasty and the service is excellent. I didn't have anything to complain. The rates are quite reasonable. To be honest, i hadn't expected the same level of satisfaction after 18 years and I was a bit hesitant to go there initially. But I'm glad I did as nothing has changed over this period. Mehfil has remained a top restaurant in Vasana area with authentic Punjabi food options.

This place offers good quality food and especially rotis. Apart from slow service, all the other things were good. Tasty food is you get at Mehfil.
The place is small as compared to the pics and little bit conjusted but overall a great place.
1. The place has great servers who will take care of you
2.The quality of food served was very good we had Paneer jwalamukhi and missi roti both were great.
3. Had to wait a little but this way they dont overcrowd the place and maintain calm and peace.
4. The price is a little steep but not too much bill for two was 415/-.
