This restaurant is awesome and best place for family and friends. Decoration is too good. All the services are on time. Food is also fresh and great in taste.
The Ambience was awesome. Also the staff were very properly mannered and well caring. The Restaurant was according to me one of the best in terms of Fine Dine in Ahemdabad.
Went for dinner. Decent nice ambience place at sg highway near bodakdev and thaltej. Had typical north Indian food and it was delicious. I asked for a less spicy food and they made it which I appreciate. Staffs were also humble and polite.
I really would like to say one thing if you have good understanding of food then only criticize.
First of all you have to understand the concept of cuisine. Here in MMS they are serving Indo western fusion cuisine. For that you have to develop your palet. Not a single restaurant in the city is serving this class of food. Hi class dishes with best possible ingredients are served in the restaurant.
As it was New year's post diwali, we decided to have our family lunch here - a small family of 3. Good ambience, decently priced and yum food is the experience we had here.
Ordered :
Diwani subz handi - loaded with corn kennels, baby corn and other veggies in a smooth spinach gravy.
Paneer mirach khucharan - as the name suggests it was paneer pieces with sliced bell peppers in a brown tomato gravy.
We had karahi roti (tandoori roti) along with masala papad.
Surely look forward to try more items over the menu
I like how they have warm staff who serves you well. Their baked dish is to die for! Love how they have give complementary pan shots and chocolates at the end of your meal, nice touch!
Nice ambience .. Taste is good... quantity of food is also ok.. The place was not crowded when I visited and hence the service was also good..
You need a valet parking. And try to educate your customer in case they are too loud and making other customers uncomfortable. Rest all keep the brand name well and that’s it.

The staff is very good very good khichdi great Baigan masala and bhindi masala though it is not in the menu they made it.very Happy clean atmosphere prompt billing. Butter naan was also very soft. Cake and desserts also good.
Sometimes, some fine dine restaurants start off so well that you always have that expectation when you visit the restaurant next! Our liking for Mr. & Mrs. Somani is since its inception. The time when our family had joked about pappads costing more than soup! It's a go to place for family celebrations and the icing is the continuation of the Bricks' favourites which still continue in this restaurant making it a must visit!

Presentation was unique and attractive . We used 5 zomato gold subscription which help us reduce the cost substantiality. Overall 5 starts for this fine dinning restaurant.
Been there so many times in indore but it was first time in Ahmedabad. Can assure you one thing this name The Grand Bhagwati (Mr & Mrs somani) never ever disappoints you. Food is always a delight there with there wide menu. Place is spacious enough with warm serene ambiance. Staff is courteous. You can have ranjeets Singh special in main course, its their best. So to celebrate Diwali with my family we a group of 9 people decided to go here for dinner. The ambiance to begin with was very warm and the place is spacious enough to seat 9 people comfortably together. We had a complete dinner starting from soup, we ordered three types of soup first we ordered Hot and Sour Soup then Curried Sweet Corn, and lastly Lal Tamatar Moti shorba which was very oily to be honest. Then we had Pesto Paneer Tikka & Stuffed Paneer Pakora for starters both the starters tasted good. For main course we had Panner Tikka Lababdar and Dum Aloo Bharwa curries and two kinds of rotis Mixed Herb & Black Olive Paratha and some Pineapple Raita to go with it. Lastly we ordered Jeera Rice and Dal Making. This was my favorite of it all. The Dal Making is a dish definitely recommended !!! The over all quality of the food served was good. The pricing for the same is also reasonable. Hygiene was up to the mark as well and the staff was well attentive. Overall a nice place to enjoy food with family and friends. Must try.
have been here twice once for a casual lunch and second time hosted a 20 pax lunch fix set menu party food and service is spot on. highlights of menu are stuffed mozzarella papers, sailana papad crispy , soya kheema and tur dal tarannum . staff is well trained polite and prompt. ambience is classy
Overall a nice dining experience. We ordered -
1. Paprika Paneer BBq - Paneer cubes were soft and cooked well with spices.
2. Paneer Angaare and Mirach Khurchan - Loved the taste of sabzis. Something different than the usual gravy taste of all restaurants.
3. Butter naan and kulchas - Rotis and naans were crispy enough as asked and thickness was as it should be.
4. Dal Makhani - When it was served I loved the aroma of daal. And it didn’t disappoint in the taste as well.
Just found it to be a bit costly. But taste can make you ignore that fact.
I had been here for this first time and I was very impressed with the taste of the food and service.

Piano is more famous in grand Bhagwati but food is same in both. It is only ambiance and height which makes piano more attractive. We also went for Piano but due to waiting we agreed to go in this. This is also good for Number of food options and mainly starters, live counter and deserts.
Food was great, some glitch with Gold but solved happily by the management. Great service, ambience and convenience of customization. Always ask for an extra shot.

Menu has some really good recommendation. I liked the presentation and taste of the food. But the staff serving us looked like little rude and we asked couple if questions he started responding rudely. Other wise a good place to be at. Little expensive but for food like this you won’t mind spending little high price.
A beautiful Restaurant, ambience wise. Loved the decor and comfortable seating. It was open for buffet breakfast from 7am to 10 am.
A variety of hot freshly prepared items from pakodas, samosas, parathas, idli, poha were there. There was a counter to prepare dosas. Cornflakes, juices, cut fruits, cakes, muffins, Danish pastry, veg cheese sandwich was also on the spread.
Hot tea and coffee was served on the table. Service was quick and with a.smile.
Surprised that there was no toast counter or butter jam.
But on the whole a delicious breakfast experience..

Everything about this place is so perfect. The staff, service, ambience, food taste & quality etc.
The staff is so welcoming.
I have been here ample of times and each time this place is amazing with its service and the food taste.
So we ordered the following:-
1) Soups
- Lal Tamatar Moti shorba
-Lemon Coriander Soup
Both the soups tasted really good. Especially the lemon coriander soup was really good in taste. (9/10)
if you want soup breads you need to ask for it.
2) Starters
- Palak Makai Tikka
This starter was very different in taste. I had it for the first time and totally loved it. It had sesame seed quoting. It's a must try starter. (9/10)
-Paprika Paneer BBQ
The paneer was cooked so nicely and the quoting added more flavour to it. (9/10)
There are many other paneer starters you can try.
3) Main Course
- baby vegetable peshaweri
It had all English vegetables like bay corn, broccoli, capsicum. The gravy of the vegetable was really good. I really loved this vegetable. (10/10)
-Dal tadka
The daal was my favorite. I generally don't like dal everywhere but the Dal here was really Good and had a very good tadka taste. Totally loved it. (10/10)
4) Bread Basket
There are a variety of naans in one basket. It's good to order this if you are more then 2 people.
It had different variety and were good to go with food.
5) Somani's Ceasar Salad
I am very fond of salads but not all places do good ceaser salad due to the lettuce quality. But this place served the salad with fresh lettuce and the dressing was perfect to go with. (10/10)
You should definitely order this salad.
In the end they gave us complimentary paan shots which were so refreshing and we were served some chocolate as well which just melted in the Mouth.
The food was really good. It's a good place to go with family and friends.
The service and the hospitality the place offers makes the place even more better.
I would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to have good indian food.
Food quality was awesome..Soup, starters, curry were very tasty, even the bread was very soft. Service was top notch. Ambience was great giving a very elegant n classy look.
The only thing I found that can be worked upon is that the sitting place near sofas is quite congested, very less leg space. Its difficult to get in. Management should look into this.
Overall, a memorable experience for me.

My rating is more for their service than the food - ambience and all therein!
We had been there to celebrate my father's 64th bday. As soon as we entered I spoke to the man ushering us to our table to discreetly bring in a chocolate cake with happy birthday "dada" written on it. I did not have to repeat myself nor have to remind them. The cake was there for cutting before we could place our order for dinner!
We were having trouble deciding what to order for our 8 year old cause we really did not want him to waste the food and actually eat to his hearts content. When I couldn't see pizza on their menu, we tried to order Nazza to atleast satisfy the child's cravings but the manager suggested the child wouldn't like it and was kind enough to suggest we order a pizza for the child. I was confused and told him it's not there in the menu he said they would oblige and make one for us!! So there it was the main person at our table had what he wanted!!
Then I wanted pasta but I have been medically advised to avoid salt as much as possible my wish was granted there too!
All in all a soul and tummy satisfying experience.
Their service and hospitality have made me realise how much customer satisfaction actually means!!

One gets only one Paratha with it(have to order another seperately), but the quantity is good for 2 persons to eat!

Finally Me and Mrs managed to visit on Place's 15th Birthday. A warm welcome with a drink and small starter. Restaurant has nice decor but special decoration to give you feeling of celebration and weather.
We appreciate ambience, service and food but management do take note of .5 each less for flaw in service and food. Overall good experience.

It was a dinner with friends n colleagues food and service was good but there were some issues attached. Crispy veg came along with celery garnish instead of bock choy. Penne alfredo came dry tossed. But just loved the gulab jamun with vanilla n chocolate sauce.

Well, When TGB name is associated, a level is set that it has to be good. Went there for Sunday Morning Lunch. The food was tasty but the quantity was upsetting. Service was average. Waiters had to be called twice for the things you have asked for. Ambience is nice.

Was here actually for the Goa Evening which was organised by the Goa Tourism. It was a meeting conference. Food here is good very good preparations. A suggested place if you are ever the S.G. highway.

The food was really good, service was excellent. The food especially was flavorful, in comparison to @mango. Presentation was spot on. I did not give it a 5 because of decor - upscale, clean but a little business like. It was cool a couple of years back, not so much now. For food though, highly recommend.

This review is not about the food it's about the people of Ahmedabad "us". For some reason I visited tgb two times between 23-26 June I saw some unexpected scenes at the Mr and Mrs somani restaurant.
Yes I agree that customers are always right but that doesn't mean you are God. Everybody is blaming the hotel staff for everything and started shouting on them rushing around the restaurant. Just try to understand the situation pal and behave like a human.
Ahmedabad is known for their great humanity so keep it ! Thank you.
It’s a pure veg restaurant. The seating and spacing is not very comfortable. But the food is excellent. Service is above average.
Food is good, however staff behaviour and service need to improve. Staff is very casual and don't listen properly to the requests. Overall very nice food, premium restaurant, amazing ambience and good vibes. Location is also very convenient and good.

Absolutely fantastic experience !!!! Fine dining at not too costly rate ....Visited for a Sunday lunch...
Pros :
1. Lot of parking space at basement...so dat u don't have to struggle for parking...and we were quite fortunate as most parking space was empty as there were no functions in their banquets due to monsoon
2. Comfortable, cozy atmosphere with wonderful seating arrangements ...we were again fortunate dat at 1 pm only 3 to 4 tables were occupied so no waiting time
3. The manager Mr. PREM was very courteous and knowledgeable about cuisine served at their restaurant. As we were quite skeptical about Jain food...he perfectly guided us about what to choose and how many dishes to order...As only 2 members out of 9 want non Jain food and were reluctant to order a regular dish....He managed portion of dish to convert to regular so instead of 2 dishes of Jain we have 1.5 dish Jain and 0.5 dish regular ....perfect balance for our group
4. Now about food - Soups, starters, Main course - Paneer and Veg subjis and Cilantro Risoto all were very tasty, authentic, neither oily nor spicy. Icing on cake is serve size - which is quite perfect as per industry standard. U never feel that u r cheated by small size of dish.
5. Lastly our Happy meal was complemented by Paanshots which will bring a smile and joy of satisfaction of having a perfect meal time....

We always cherish Indian food but however not just any Indian. Mr & Mrs Somani has all that i could possibly expect ! The food is totally extra-ordinary. I can tell they have the best chefs. Everything tastes mouth watering, not oily at all and flawlessly served. The service was amazing. I have liked so much of those Complimentary shots by the way. Whenever i ate elsewhere than Mr. & Mrs. Somani I am always disappointed. I have not found a superior spot to ate! It is the best i ever was tasted and I highly recommend Mr. & Mrs. Somani food in Surat.

We were very late for the dinner and no customers were there but still they served us with great food and good quality food. It was late still their staff has given great response and provided great service. Thank you so much for extra chocolates at last after the dinner complete. 🙂
