I loved the food here and the fast service with little to no wait, even on weekends. I tried the sushis, and the smoked salmon was amazing it is definitely one of the best. The vegetarian options didn't sit well with my taste palette. However, I would recommend it to anyone who prefers vegetarian options. The dumplings were also good. Their desert it worth the try as well.👍👍
Kush Sushil
The most amazing sushi I’ve ever had in Ahmedabad! Plenty of options to choose from, both for vegetarians and non vegetarians. There are a variety of dumplings as well along with sandwiches and meat bowls. This is a highly recommended place if you want to try out some good sushi in and around Ahmedabad! 🍣

Waiting for 20 mins on the weekday shows the immense popularity of this place.
The ambiance is quite minimalist with cosy seating spaces.
Service was quick and staff was attentive.
Started with their famous khow suey soup and it was served hot and damn good.
Their roasted veggies and quinoa Sushi was spot on.
Quite disappointed with their tikka bowl as the paneer was quite salty with it's marination.
Other than that everything was great.

We went to this Fine dining restaurant on 06 Aug 2023 for lunch. We had reached by 1315 and there was a waiting period of 15 - 20 minutes and place was packed to capacity. There is open street Parking outside with sufficient space. It's located in a complex where there are other restaurants and cafe also. Ambience wise place is ok with simple decor (6/10). It has limited seating and can accommodate 35 - 40 people I suppose. But overall it appears congested (6/10). Restaurant Staff from reception to table is courteous, polite and well behaved (7/10). Menu is global and includes Indian, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Greek, Burmese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and few other cuisines and has a touch of ingenuity. Major selections include Sushi (both veg and non-veg options are available), Dimsums (V/NV), Platters, Soups, Sandwich, Bowl meals, Salad bowls, Deserts and beverages. (10/10). Service was prompt and My orders arrived hot (freshly curated) and in reasonable amount of time. (9/10). We tried Cucumber and avocado sushi, Cream cheese, spinach and fried onion Dimsums, Chicken and Scallions Dimsums, Tikka bowl, Santa Fe bowl, Korean Bibimbap Bowl. All the dishes were scrumdiddlyumptious and there were no disappointments. However, while ordering dishes claimed to be spicy don't have expectation of very spicy dish, it'll be only moderately spicy. Quantity wise most of the Dimsums have 4 pieces in each serving, Sushi has 6 - 8 pieces per serving, Bowl meals will suffice a single person if taken as only option, otherwise with snacks two bowls will suffice 3 people. Apart from aroma and flavours they deserve additional point for presentation of the dish and their presentation actually steals the show.(9/10). Did not try washroom hence cannot comment about it. All payment options were available. Overall a very good experience despite traveling time of 40 minutes for us and would love to visit again (8/10).

We had ordered tom yum soup and dynamite prawns which tasted perfect and yummy. The Korean bibimbap bowl however was a bit let down as it lacked some flavors and spiciness.
On weekends, we had to wait for over 30mins for our turn to dine but it was worth it .

A colorful experience of different varities of food and dishes from
various countries and regions...
From Hummas with falafel to dimsum to Sushi to thai and Burmese bowls... Different tastes with exotic colours...
tiramisu to chocolate were lovely and enjoyable to the core.
Service was electric and responsive.
We entered at 2 pm to find the place full of guests.
A lovely colorful experience for lunch today.

Before leaving Ahmedabad, I tried food from here. They were absolutely delicious. I ordered Korean bibimbap and Buffalo chicken & cream sushi. The taste of both the dishes were amazing. Will definitely recommend people to try there once.

A Culinary Symphony of Flavors - Lollo Rosso
The ambiance strikes a harmonious balance between modern elegance and a relaxed atmosphere. Aesthetics are intertwined with contemporary design elements, creating a space that feels inviting. Soft lighting and tasteful décor add to the cozy vibe, making it an ideal spot for both casual gatherings and intimate dinners.
The staff at Lollo Rosso were attentive, just a glance was enough for them to come and assist us. Manager helped us with the seating arrangement himself and made sure we are at comfort. Although waiter lacked knowledge about the menu items and couldn't recommend which Sushi is their best, still he tried to guide us through the menu with enthusiasm.
As for food, I had Caesar Salad, Cucumber & Avocado Sushi & Cream Cheese, Spinach with Fried Onions Dim Sums. The combination of cool cucumber and creamy avocado was just amazing. The sushi rice acted as a neutral canvas, allowing the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine through. A subtle hint of wasabi provided a gentle kick without overpowering the delicate balance of the Sushi roll. Caesar Salad retained the traditional elements that make this dish iconic, while introducing subtle twists that enhanced the flavor profile. The creamy Caesar dressing struck a perfect balance between rich and tangy. The Dim Sum were served on an artistically designed platter, enhancing the anticipation of the unique flavors that awaited. The pairing of creamy cream cheese and earthy spinach was an ingenious combination and fried onions were its cherry on top.
While each dish stands out in its own right, the real magic lies in how they seamlessly complement each other on the menu. The ambiance, though not entirely perfect, lends a comfortable backdrop to this culinary journey. With a few minor improvements in pacing and pricing, Lollo Rosso can easily reach five-star status.
It's a must-visit for those with an adventurous palate and an appreciation for culinary craftsmanship. The delicate flavors, combined with the restaurant's inviting ambiance, ensures a memorable dining experience

Small restaurant serving unique cuisine and a bit expensive one!

Oh, Lolla Rosso! Amazing, amazing food. Visited here with a recommendation from our taxi driver and boy, did it live up.. really impressive presentation and an exhaustive menu. I am not a food critic but even the most hard-to-please will go back satiated. The food took a bit to arrive but when it did, the look and taste was top notch. The sushi, paneer bowl, Thai bowl.. all yummy. The chips in the nachos were slightly soft and the flavour was missing but the bowls were terrific. Prices seem high for an eatery in Ahmedabad but the ambience was casual and comfortable. It is conveniently located near Rajpath club. Food 9/10, Decor 7/10, Service 7/10. The management should consider opening at Mumbai too.

My all time favorite place. Consistent taste since years and authentic food you will get here. Spaghetti bowl with buttata cheese and cucumber avocado are my favorite dishes here. Fresh vegetables and thoroughly cooked food takes some time to reach to your table but it’s worth.

Almost everything you order here will be yummy and worth the price. Ordered sushi, dimsum, nachos, kung pao bowl and thukpa bowl. Except for dimsum, enjoyed every bit of the food

Wow, what an amazing experience, the best so far in Ahmedabad! Wonderful and attentive staff, enjoyable atmosphere and incredibly delicious food. The rolls are spot on in texture and well balanced, the bread from the hummus fluffy and the tom yam reduction very authentic and perfectly spiced (just a tiny bit too sweet). The bowls were very diverse and also well balanced – what I loved most was how fresh they were overall - taste and texture were both spot on in all four bowls.
The special stars (recommendations) tonight were: Okra Tempura Rolls, Thai Bowl & especially the Palestine Bowl! 🤩

Had ordered Veg.Thai Bowl, Veg.Risotto Bowl and Falafel Sandwich. The quality and quantity of all food items were good. But, price wise, it is bit on a higher side.
The food instructions given were duly followed. Delivery was on time. With regards to packaging, it was properly done. There was no leakage or spillover.
With the current pandemic situation, it feels good to note that the restaurant is giving utmost importance to hygiene and safety. (They have attached notes regarding precautions taken by them to the delivery bag. See pics below)

Overall Ratings: 4.5
Food: 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Packaging: 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
VFM: 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

This is an elegant and classy place to visit in Ahmedabad, with some really good crowd along with their signature bowls. I frequent to this place and never disappointed, love whatever, inorder from their menu. My personal favourite is Fajita Bowl and Greek Bowl, they are divine. Also, this place is quite famous for sushi and special desserts. The portion size is also good, 1 bowl is enough for one person as a complete meal, but it's quite subjective according to the appetite. Calm place, with some really good crowd with soothing interiors. Do visit here.

Ordered Prawn Tempura Sushi and Sticky rice with Mango. Overall packaging and presentation was superb. On the pricier side but i think it would be worth it.

Prawn Tempura Sushi
My first time trying a sushi so i was really clueless as to what to expect out of it. For me, the dish was a little off my taste but i still kind of liked it. (except for wasabi.. tasting that was an instant regret.. spoiled the whole taste for me).

Sticky rice with Mango
No second thoughts required... just go for it.. it was superb.. so light, fresh and made to perfection. Not just another visual delight .. its of a different level. Perfectly combined ingredients. Not excessivelysweet and it is sure to give you that warm feeling. Highly recommended.

In Frame : Thai Sticky rice with mango and coconut cream
Place :
Taste : 5/5
Ambience 4.5/5
.
.
During this pandemic situation, when every food blogger is posting about their favourite food that they miss a lot during quarantine, I got bit carried away with my own thoughts. Wondering about all the things that I miss having right now during social distancing, I came to a conclusion about my favourite dish. So, let me introduce to my favourite dish, it’s actually a dessert. This is THAI STICKY RICE WITH MANGO AND COCONUT CREAM 🤩 A perfect classic Thai dessert which is creamy, soothing and refreshing. Trust me, this dessert is not just fulfilling but it’s SOUL-FILLING ! Juicy mango and perfect amount of sweetness in coconut cream with thick rice is no less than Nirvana !
.
.
PS: This dessert is not available right now for a obvious reason “MANGO”! Lollo Rossi introduced this dessert during summer and they reintroduced this during winter for a short period of time. One of the reasons why I’m waiting for summer is to have this dessert again and again. I hope they will again add this in their summer special menu *Fingers crossed*🤞🏼

The food here is exceptional, we had guests from the US and they were pleasantly surprised at the food on offer and the variety and also the Vegan and Gluten free options, Seen above in the pics are Thai Bowl with all veges and A tiramisu and a chocolate mousse cake..Must say they have nailed their presentation and the taste to the T.
@TheBindiSwagger
It was a very pleasant meal we had after quite sometime.

The highlights of the meal :
• Orka Tempura Teriyaki - never thought fried okra wrapped in rice blanket could taste this nice.
It was a 8 on 10 for us and we ended up repeating the order.

• Cream Cheese + Spinach + Fired Onion Dimsums - again it was a bit for us. The flavour of fried onions added a pinch of sweetness to the dimsum and it blended very well.

• Fajita Bowl - it was how a basic fajita bowl should taste, with everything mixed up, like with the right amount of spice and veggies.

• Thai Bowl - This bowl meal was the best we had. I am not a fan of red curry but surprisingly it was something I couldn't dislike. The flavour of coconut was very evident and not empowering other flavours.

Sorry we were busy eating so didn't get any pictures.

Very innovative and new place in Ahmedabad, good for people who likes to eat subtle food. Good for foreigners specially. Staff is good and recommended food as per your taste. Can try various food according to your taste, one bowl is having good amount of food can easily feed one or even two people if they have moderate appetite. Just the place is always crowded and seating arrangement is too small.
Tarun Patel
Much more unique choices of sushis and other dishes than most other continental restaurants. We really enjoyed our dinner but the table are close together. We were on a romantic date but it made our dining experience a little disappointing. the waiter and the great food however compensated for that.
Nikunj Rathod
The place is nicely organized. For somebody who loves the salad this place is nothing less than a heaven. My target is to try every dish on the menu and I hope to be amazed.
Sahitya Gali
Tom yum was a good start. It had the perfect taste and spice that one would want in Tom Yum. One soup served 2 people easily. Santa Fe Bowl had Mexico in a bowl. The rice with fresh and crispy nachos with the tangy paste is actually delightful. The bowl of the month Burratta and Spaghetti Bowl was disappointing as it was bland in taste. The spaghetti didn't have a flavour neither did the fish, which was actually very dry and hard. Chicken Flower dimsums as it says represents a flower kinda texture and tastes Thai and spicy which was served with Schezwan sauce. It is a good option for people who would like their dim sums spicy. Coming to the part which was very disappointing was the service. 1. As soon as the clock struck 6 in the evening I made a call to book a table. I was told to call at 7 pm. When I did i was told that the bookings were not allowed. :/ 2. The staff is not responsive. Half of the restaurant was crowded with the waiters but none were responding to our calls. 3. Actual serving of a bowl to three people was taken 5 minutes, which is actually pretty slow.

How are you rated 4.8? Let me guess most of them are food bloggers rating you good because of the blogger's meet every week!
So, If you are looking for a sour taste Hummus with a smell of rotten Dahi then this is the right place.. because that's the secret of Hummus platter here.. horrible experience.. over rated .. over priced! Not even worth what they are charging.. staff is most of the time clueless and owner has his own theories regarding Mediterranean food..
PS: Vinegar is not used in authentic Mediterranean Hummus, it's lemon!Sir please let me know what Mediterranean books you are referring.. u might need to get them exchange from crossword as your basics are not clear.. Amdavadis are way too foodie and have more knowledge about Hummus than you.. :)

Lollo Rosso is right up there with best restaurants that I've been to. Simply good at everything they do- from food to service. Different experience than the rest. Very well made menu, you'll definitely find something for your taste. Also not over-the-top pricey.

The Decor and ambience of the place is amazing. The staff is courteous and polite.
We ordered Tikka bowl and Fajita bowl.
Everything was perfectly cooked and the chicken just melts in your mouth. Its so soft and tender.
My friend didn’t even wait to click picture of her food. But I did😛
I definitely recommend this place.
Cheers!

This place serves incredibly unique food in town. They have variety of the healthy bowl meal options. Food quality is remarkable. I usually get the bowl meals delivered at home and food is always fresh. Risotto Bowl, Greek Bowl and Miso Ramen are my favorites so far. Recently I went for dining in and order Sushi which was quite impressive. A must visit place.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME FOR CONTINENTAL LOVERS.
AMBIENCE IS REALLY GOOD AND THEY MAINTAIN DECENT HYGIENE STANDARDS.
THE STAFF IS WELL TRAINED AND COURTEOUS.
VARIETY OF BOWL MEALS OPTION, DIMSUMS AND SUSHI.
THEIR DESSERTS ARE THE MOST LOVELY ONES.

PATHETIC GUEST EXPERIENCE - Inspite of mentioning the order very very clearly a dish was not served, the staff was not ready to show the order details logged in his tab also didn’t serve the missed order stating that the kitchen was closed... whereas they still had guest to whom they were serving. I had some guests along of which one didn’t get food ordered for him to the much of my embarrassment

I was blown away by the food. It is so scrumptious and authentic.

If you are not going to be able to provide tables after taking a reservation, then please refuse on the phone. We booked a table and reached on time. A group that had booked for 9 was given a table when we were not given one for 8.30. pathetic.

Comfort food.

Their tiramisu is phenomenal and will truly be cherished and loved by anyone who genuinely fancies coffee. The dumplings were so elegant and flavourful, nothing comes even close to these in all of ahmedabad.

They cater to a variety of palates and the variety of cuisines they offer compacted in a bowl is fascinating.

Highly recommend this to anyone and everyone. Want to go here again soon to try out the soups.

Went at Bodakdev outlet on Bhaiduj. They denied the sitting to us and said as we are busy. They also said we won't be serving you today as by the time table will be available closing time happens and it was an afternoon time not a night time.
Went there on 30th Oct with family again and as soon as we entered we been denied the place of our choice stating as you are only 3 people we can't give you sofa sitting and I felt sofa sitting was only for 4 people. Then they served us item called Falafal which had Dhaniya in it didn't taste like aunthetic Falafal at all. Very bad experience and vibes.

Amazing amazing food. Total love! The khao suey is so authentic and yummy I have no words to express. The other food items are equally good and I also crave for their momos.

Lollo Rosso offers a filling bowl that takes taste buds on a journey around the world. Each of their bowl is amazing and represents a cuisine nicely.

The 4 stars because there were some bowls which I thought did not go together at all. They did not taste great unlike the other bowls in their menu.

Otherwise it is a great restaurant to try what different cuisines taste like.

The first question that came to my mind when I visited Lollo Rosso's Vastrapur outlet was, what does Lollo Rosso mean? But I guess the food was an acquired taste and I really didn’t enjoy my meal. So somehow never took further interest in knowing what it meant, not to forget that the options on the menu were very limited too. After this stint, I even tried eating Sushi at a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine but could not even eat one serving of the dish.

Months passed and I regained what I call the guts to try Lollo Rosso’s food again. Planned to visit the Bodakdev outlet, had also checked the menu before visiting that has now turned vast with plenty of options. I even got the best company one could get to help me fare safely through this lunch. I was very sure I was not going to enjoy the food this time again but to my surprise, I enjoyed each and every dish we ordered and seriously ended up having one of my best meals in recent weeks.

What we ordered:

1: Vietnamese Pho Veg: Pho is a type of Vietnamese soup consisting of broth, rice noodles, veggies (namely carrot, cabbage, green chilies, coriander) and bean sprouts. The soup had a very mild flavour of ginger but was bland. I check few recipes online came to know that cinnamon, star anise, and cloves play a very important role in the veg version which was missing here. This was good but not really recommendable

2: Mixed Veg, Water Chestnuts, and Chives Dim Sums: Please note that Dim Sums are different than Momos, the former is a traditional Chinese dish while the latter is having origins from Tibet, Nepal and North-Eastern part of India. Momo are usually prepared using wheat flours whereas the other is made using starch. The difference can easily be spot seeing the outer texture. This one had a very tasty filling and was served with spring onion pepper sauce and Burmese tomato chili oil. This one is not to be missed!

3: Okra Tempura Teriyaki Sushi: Sushi means “Sour” and as the name suggests. It is a Japanese dish prepared with vinegared rice and served with Soy/ Gari (Pickled Ginger) and Wasabi. Putting it in simple words, tempura is the Japanese version of Bhajiyas. This dish had okra tempura covered with the rice which I really loved. I loved the way the dish was served, a very small portion of Gari/ Wasabi is added on the sushi and then dipped in soy. This was mouth-watering! Tried Wasabi for the first and it cannot be eaten alone. It has an extremely pungent smell, even a tiny portion is enough to kick your nose.

4: Santa Fe Paneer: A Mexican rice bowl consisting of chili smoked paneer with adobo sauce (tomatoes, garlic, vinegar, and spices), spring onions, refried beans, Picco De Gallo (Salsa Sauce), lettuce, yellow cheddar, chili slice, avocados, and nachos. When the dish arrives nachos, paneer, avocado and chili slice are served first and then the rest is mixed and then served again. Don’t compare this one with the Mexican Hot Pot as this is totally something else and really delectable.

It is very difficult to categorize the cuisine that Lollo Rosso serves, one can say it has something for every palate and they really can’t go wrong on the food. The food is excellent that it totally engulfs you. This was also a good sign for me that that I finally acquired the taste of eating at LR. LR has minimalistic interiors, the stewards are very polite and well-oriented about the menu.

Lastly the meaning of “Lollo Rosso”! Rosso means Red in Italian and it is nothing but a variety of lettuce with wrinkled red-edged leaves.

Do visit this place if you are yet to visit! I heard they are opening a new outlet that will only serve vegetarian food.

NB: A long post was the need of the hour to praise Lollo Rosso's Food. 🙃

#WhereaVirajAteToday #IPaidForIt

Where do I start from? Having visited the Vastrapur outlet, I had high hopes from Bodakdev one and boy it was so amazing. The ambience, the food, the service everything was a stand out.

We were 3 people and ordered Vegetable sushi for starter, 3 bowls each (Burmese, Korean and Risotto) and Tiramisu for dessert. Everything was perfect and I'd love to try the dimsum and other bowls soon!

The concept of healthy bowls is superb!
Shimoli Mehta
I went there on a very busy day and yet the service was good and on time. I had edamame and truffle dimsums and a mexican bowl which all tasted well. However, they had very few Jain items on the menu and everything was prepared so couldn't be made Jain. I would appreciate if they had more eggfree and Jain items.
Girl_with_chopstix
This being my favourite place, we visit once a month at least. If you plan to visit during lunch/dinner time on weekends, be prepared for a long waiting queue.
Ambience is really good and they maintain good hygiene standards. Staff is very courteous. Service is pretty quick too.
Variety of bowl meal options as well as dim sums and sushi. A bit on higher price but worth every penny.

Lollo Rosso serves one of the most unconventional cuisines in Ahmedabad, so hats off to the mind behind this. This is a larger place than its Vastrapur branch.
Ambience- Nicely done simple decors with comfortable seating.
Service- The staff is very cooperative and helpful.
Food-
Caesar salad bowl- I don't like salads much but this one was bang on!! The dressing was very subtle yet delicious and the veggies were Super-fresh. (5/5)
Mixed Veg. Water Chestnut and Chives- These dimsums were a total winner for me. It has a nice rice sheet coating and the filling is just awesome. They are served with Spring Onion Pepper, Burmese Tomato and Chilli Oil. Have it with these side dips and it will hit your taste buds at the right spot(5/5) 😍😎
Lavash- It was so good!! It had some nice seasoned veggies, along with some sauce, Beetroot Hummus, olives and some basil. (5/5)
Fajita Bowl- It is my all-time favorite at this place.
It has Cilantro Garlic Rice, Pablano Smoked Paneer, Refried Beans, Hot Salsa, Parsley Sour Cream, Char Grilled Corn, Lettuce, Onions, Capsicums and Cheese. (5/5)
Stroganov Bowl- This was a really good one. It had Pepper Sauce Glazed Paneer, Herb Rice, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Veggies, Crushed Pepper Sour cream, Lettuce, Salad, Roasted Sweet Potato and Whole Dijon Mustard. This bowl was Gluten Free also. (4.5/5)
For Desserts-
Tiramisu- For strong flavoured coffee lovers like me, it is of course a good option but those who don't like that extra dark and intense flavor may not like it. (3/5)
Chocolate Mousse- Actually it didn't qualify as a traditional mousse😅🤔It had a texture more like a cheesecake, nevertheless it was delicious. It was served with Caramel Cremé and Fresh Berry Compote with Goat Cream Cheese. All the 4 components together in a spoon was heavenly! 😇😇

Good ambience, Best food and friendly staff. Loved the food quality. We ordered Khowsuey Soup which was one of the best which I had so far. Stroganov Bowl was also good, and ended our dinner with yummy delicious Chocolate Mousse slice which was garnished with red cranberry and caramel paste added more taste and texture to mousse. Lollo Rosso made our evening more memorable. I would love to visit again and again.

Lollo Rosso ha satisfied the need of having filling and healthy Buddha Bowls which we keep seeing on social media. It might be a bit heavy on pocket but otherwise the food is really good, if you are into clean healthy eating.
Ambience is another plus point with the chic interior. The place gives you the feel of fine dine, hence the price..
Good food, Happy people 😊

I wasn't very fond of Asian food, but now I have become one! All thanks to Lollo Rosso! The first thing I was fascinated about the restaurant was it's name. I kinda really liked it. Ambience here is good but yeaa not very appealing. Then comes the best thing. It's FOOD! Be it Sushi, Dimsums or variety of Bowls, everything here savory. First came mouth watering Mixed Veg Water Chestnuts Dimsums. Having Hot spicy tangy Dimsums after so long made my day. Then we had ordered appetizing Okhra Tempura Teriyaki Sushi. It was amazingly presented and very tasteful. I had Sushi with lots of Wasabi. We also had Santa Fe Bowl and Miso Ramen Bowl. Both were luscious and delightful in their own category. We really had a delectable lunch! I would recommend everyone to pay a visit at this enchanting restaurant.
