I have been to this place quite a few times and my experience has always been pleasant. I love the ambience which is Jopdi style and super cosy. Coming to food, one must try the open barbecue platter and the Akhrot halwa. The taste and quality of food are worth every penny. A must visit place for people who want to try really good nonveg food.
Must try their platters and raan menu. The taste of main course items is quite an average but the taste of starters and dry items is good. Children park and parking facility are available.

This place is preferred for those who like dining outdoors especially evening. The place has minimal lighting with plastic chairs and tables. I ordered nizami chicken tikka and chicken dum biryani. Both were good and medium spicy. Nizami tikka is a must try. There are many items in the menu to worth trying and all the items are aptly priced considering quantity. Non veg lovers should not miss this restaurant.

We ordered the Tandoor ka Dhamaka and sea food platter, other than main course. The starters won my heart with the variety they had and how each of them tasted so amazing.
The meat is cooked to perfection, the coating on the tikkas are perfect and not in excess and the entire platter is just well balanced.
Main course tastes good, but some may find it a bit oily. But as long as you concentrate on the important part...the food and it's taste, you should be very happy.

Appearances can be deceiving and it couldn't be more true in this case. Sigdi at first glance looks like any other highway place to grab a quick bite but it's much more than that. It's the best place to get Tandoori Chicken in the city. From the taste, to quantity, to the price it's just the right amount. The Peshawari chicken is also a must try if you like a sweet flavour in your chicken. The ambience might not be the best but it's the place to go for Tandoori Chicken near Sarkhej.
The location was perfect for a dinner in the cold winter weather. With the calmness of highway..and the breezy wind.
Angari Tikka for starter..turned out to be a really tasty dish and a must try for them spicy lovers.
Chicken Rara Masala for Main course...and the first word my little sister said after having her first bite was "Jannat" ..and that describes it all. Another spicy dish, which would tickle all your taste buds.

It is a resturant with 2 contrasts. Amazingly good good with amazingly pathetic service.
Their chicken is among the best I have had. I am a very non chickenn tandoori person,however the chicken tandoori here is soft,juicy and succulent. Their mast malang tikka suits my tastes like a dream. These two things are so good that I end up getting full on them and I fail to explore their gigantic menu.
Now comes the bad part. Their mutton dishes and biriyanis are bad and stay away from them. Their waiters are so poor that i have stopped eaing there and I take back a parcel. Hygiene is also pathetic there.
Though the ambiance is not so happening but the food is really good. Cravings for tandoori can best be fulfilled here. Do try their speciality i.e. winter leg and crackle fish.

Visited here for a late night dinner. Really good and diffent food. Staff and management was friendly. Chicken Nawabi, chicken Rajasthani and winter chicken was out of the world. Yemeni gosh was also tasty the mutton pieces were NYC and soft. Ambience also good. And akhrot halwa in desert is also a must have. Shall visit their other outlets too
We've been here couple of times. It's a lovely place outside Ahmedabad. The atmosphere is delightfully pleasant, the staff are well trained. The food is delicious, the starters and main course both are mouth watering delicious ๐. My favorite is the winter white leg it has such a deep cheesy flavor to it and so tender to eat. The mai. Course and desert are tasty at its best. The most important thing thought is the location, it takes you away from the commotion of the city and the shor too

Must haves - Chicken Winter Legs (like tandoori chicken but cooked in rich white masala) , crackle fish (boneless fish fingers but much better), mutton shaahi raan gravy (great thick rich gravy), mutton shahi raan rice (comes with chicken tikka, sheekh kebab on sides), walnut doodh halwa (never tasted such great taste)!

Ordered a non veg platter for 1600,which i felt was a little high end. Ambience is lovely and food delicious. We were expecting more fish/ prawns items in the platter though. Ordered paneer masala that came in a really pretty setting. Delicious naans to complement it. Courteous staff. Overall good experience.

This was my second visit, and this time was for a birthday celebration of Mother and we were 7 people and 3 toddlers... so we decided to visit here as there is small play area for kids to have fun...
Ambiance 3/5.....We booked the small hut type rooms as it was bit cold outside with kids, but once we were inside it was bit suffocative we asked for AC and was not working and single fan was not enough ..so we decided to sit in the garden area.
Food 4/5.... food was nice, we ordered their famous Winter leg, and tikka platter in starters.. while winter leg was good tikkas were Ok.. In mains we ordered Hong Kong Chicken with gravy and Chicken Pakiza (with mustard base) both were nice and delicious. We ordered chapatis but it seems it was prepared before hand as they were coming cold whenever we asked.
Service 3/5..... service was bit disappointing Bcoz
(A) They dont accept cards!!!! biggest drawback since the great move by PM, and this place is in suburbs no ATMs nearby and the nearest one was not sure had the cash.. Luckily we manage the cash some how..

I must say, their Tandoori chicken is amazing, made with a large, tender chicken. The quantity of Chicken Kadhai was good for the price and it was well prepared.

After hearing a lot from quite a few people, a few friends and I went to Sigdi Restaurant. It's just about 10 minutes from the Sarkhej circle. They had a huge open place with several tables as well as slightly ugly but still novel private huts if you wish to get some privacy. The place had a warm feel. Plus, there were lots of families as well, so women needn't feel uncomfortable as they sometimes do in male-dominated non-veg joints.
Moving on to the food, we ordered as per whatever they suggested. Winter leg starter, Chicken Shaam Savera gravy, Chicken Siyamirch gravy, rotis and Akhrot Halwa. Now the good part: This was one of the finest culinary experiences I've ever had in Ahmedabad. The Winter leg starter was amazing with its sprinkling of malai and how tender it was. Chicken Shaam Savera was possibly amongst the best gravies I've ever had. So much butter and so rich, yet not overindulgent or the kind that'll make you feel guilty. It had a rich texture with character of its own. Chicken Siyamirch was okay, but again the Akhrot Halwa could make you drool, I just wish they had Vanilla ice-cream to go with it.
However, there was this bump right at the end, where in the bill, they did not have any service tax or any other government-levied charges but yet had a 10% "Service charge". With so many public debates over this service charge in the past, I asked them what it was and they said all the service charge goes to their parent restaurant in Surat and is then distributed. I said "I honestly don't care, that's your internal thing, why're you charging us for it!". Their reply was that they have written that clause in their menu and it's their rule.Upon further squabbling, they did relent and said that we can skip it if we wish. So, do make a note of this when you go and argue with them over this. They said "You're the first person to mind this and point it out", I said "that's the problem".
But otherwise, this place is a clear winner, just go! And they have home delivery too...Happy M-eating :-)

Update: I went there a second time and revised my rating from 4.5 to 3.5. Their service consistently sucks. This time, we were 2 non-vegetarians and 2 vegetarians. We asked before ordering if they have decent food for vegetarians coz a lot of non-veg places don't offer good veg. They said they did and as per their suggestion, we ordered a paneer tikka dry (hoping that it is like their barbecue non-veg) and a paneer angara gravy. The non-vegetarians finished their starters and main course and wrapped up their meal while the vegetarians didn't even get their starters. It was 50 minutes since we placed the order. Again, there was no apology or anything. They said the paneer was frozen and therefore is ice, which scared us about whether it was fresh at all. When we finally got too frustrated and told them to cancel the veg order, they brought the paneer and it was not fresh or tasty at all. In fact, this time, even the non-veg was a bit chewy and not as good!
It's a shame, such great food and a decent ambience ruined by misbehaving people who don't understand what customer service means!

This place is located off SG Highway, slightly secluded, ideally placed I'd say, away from the crowd.
They have an open air seating arrangement and they have 3 big air conditioned cubicles which can accomate 6 people at a time comfortably.
We ordered the Winter leg as the first started which was pretty decent, nothing extraordinary though. Second came in the Nizami leg which was better than the former, juicy and tender.
Third came in the Nizami tikka which was the best starter of the lot, tender and really well cooked, hint of masala and not overly spiced.
The main course we ordered for Chicken HongKong, although it had no relationship with hongkong whatsoever, this was the best of the lot I'd say, chicken was really well cooked, big pieces of chicken were placed inside thick flat onion rings, the gravy was rich and creamy, even richer taste with butter naans.
Apart from the regular onions served on the side, they had pickled masala cabbage which was really adding a puch to the entire flavor.
The service was prompt and good staff was courteous, and the place is reasonably priced, all in all a nice place to dine with family or friends.
We also then had the Raan Biryani and the assorted leg platter.
That Raan Biryani i tell you is a knock out, it is sufficient for 5 heavy eaters, same is the case with the legs.

Last sunday i visited a couple at sarkhej sigdi, we were seat on pyramid (ac).
But disppointed of rate card there are ac charge is different & there is all items in ac charge is 20 to 70 rupees are plus.
We ordered first chicken hot & sour soup this was ok , but after ordered mast malang tikka, 1 winter leg & 1 sp. Cheese leg. This among mast malang & winter leg is awesome & newly item.
But sp. Cheese is not too.
Total bill is around a couple is 750 rupees.
All over couple would be suggest to seat in pyramid.
There is silently atomesphere & service is fast.
All over is 3.5 rating.

This place should be on every non-vegetarians list. The food was awesome, one of the best non veg restaurant in Ahmedabad. Winter Leg is their speciality and it is something very different, It tasted awesome. The huts are very good and gives you a cosy feel where you are away from all the noise and enjoy a beautiful evening having good food. Sigdi Sp Soup, Winter Leg and Nizami leg were superb. We had Chicken Sham Savera in main course which was made in dual gravy and tasted very good. The service part was also quite good. Non Veg lovers should rush here without any second thoughts.

Here they offer outdoor garden sitting, outdoor up- down bamboo hut sitting, on down side you can get table sitting & on up side you can find floor sitting arrangements, they also provide A/C room which are made in shape of cubicle hut with large window, all of this three sitting have different charge's, they also have play area for kid's. Now we can talk about food, food here is amazing sigdi flavors just like it name you can find menu with different & big plater, sea food plater, chicken plater, & other different and amazing items. Go check out this place if you are looking for good sigdi flavors food.
