Service is good but compare to other places test of food is average.
We can not say its perfect place for Gujarati test. they have special counter for panipuri lovers.
Place is good ,clear and well maintain. if you are trying to get just to visit its one of most popular place in vastral for dining.

One of the best Gujarati food I had in quite some time. The ambience is dimly lit for evenings but pleasant temp maintained inside. They start with pani puri ... the taste was good but the pani was too cold ... and the thali is just amazing ... all unlimited for just 290/- is a steal and the taste is awesome ... highly recommend ...

Visited the place for lunch with friends. They serve authentic Gujarati thali. Ambience was very pleasant and traditional. Seating area and banquet hall is sufficient for even big crowd gathering. Coming to the food, it was very good. Balanced spiced and authentic. Mix kathol, turiya nu shak and methi na paratha were amazing. Aam Ras and jalebi were outstanding. They serve two variety of daal and kadhi with rice. Tikhi daal was amazing . It’s a recommend place for family gatherings. Enjoy the best of Gujarati food here.
A good outlet for Gujarati thali, sabzi we're good, Chaat was awesome, puranpoli was less sweet overall good experience. Mango ras in off season doesn't taste that good but no one can help as such.

After hectic business meets and a very tiring drive from mumbai to ahmedabad we were looking out to eat something that would just fill our hunger cravings.so we were suggested to try this place as for the localities this was the best place in town.
Honestly im not too much into gujrati food but i still thought of giving it a try after reading its rave reviews.
But as we entered the ambience and the ethnicity just pulled me in.
For the decor i must say nothing was over powering being from its walls to the paints to its lights and the cute showpieces.everything was planned well and not over done.in short felt the warm to start my dinner at this beautiful place.
Then we were seated where we were served by very well behaved and smiling servers.
For the food it began with pani puri which was good but i still prefer our mumbaiya pani puri.
Then came out salads pickles chutneys and starters.which was again ok..then we were served with the different 5 vegetable dishes which were just mind blowing.dal and curry was excellent which was served with moong dal khichdI topped with dollops of ghee in it.the bakhra rotis chapatis and puris were also very nice as it was served piping hot.as we were njoying our food we were served with lovely refreshing chaas which helped with the digestion too.
To end it up we were served with some gujju sweet which was made with pure ghee and topped with dry fruits.
We were also served with fresh fruit custard which was perfect to end our sumptuous dinner.
I must say i felt so good with this dinner experience tht ill surely will visit again whenever i have my next visit.
We were referred about this place by one of the manufacturers of food equipments.
Other than the Gujrati kadi, which was spicy and not as per my expectation, I would have rated a 5.
This place has a dim light Ambience, and an awesome ethnic welcome. The tricky part was name of the place is written in Gujrati, you'll need some luck and adventure to find it.
The concept is an unlimited thali for 290 served in an ethnic ambience. The panipuri @ the entrance gave me a 440v pulse in my throat, and was the best I have ever had. I have no complains although the rice was served towards the end. Running a restaurant is a back breaking affair and I could feel how smoothly this place is run and the effort was felt.
They have a sweet dish and fruit salad too.
The quality and the taste is outstanding.
I will not describe the food and rather leave an element of surprise. The biscuit rotla was all I could remember, the gujju names were hard to remember.
I will be back and a must try if you are in Ahmedabad.

Every single dish was simple yet tempting. The perfect spicy panipuris, the soft, hot rotis, the crumbly, crispy bhakhris, simple homemade and tasty shaak, the soft gulab jamuns, the muthiyas and dhoklas, and the amazing khichdi kadhi. Every dish is unlimited.
Everything was absolutely perfect and authentic.
The service was exemplary - swift, warm and courteous.
300/- per person seems a bit on the heavier side, one can't go there twice a week with family. But it's absolutely worth it.

Madhav ni pole is located near vastral raf camp ring road, while returning from Baroda express highway we got chance to taste this authentic gujrati thali , it was superb experience, sweet kesar basundi was superb yummy with fresh hot farsan and hot puri, perfect Subji and in starter you must try their paani puri. Golgappas, if you are a Gujarati food lover than this is must visit restaurant . And I strongly recommend it. Just reducing 1 point for there low lighting very poor lighting. Too dark. Else everything is fine. Cheers folks !!

The place is located on SP Ring Road, near Nava Nikol. The ambience is intermediate, the staff are proactive and the price is average. The Gujarati thali had limited varieties, however that was the good part, as each of the items were really good in flavour and taste. Moreover, it didn’t heavy on stomach. Highly recommend!!

This weekend on Sunday me and my two friends looking delicious lunch near by and we found this restaurant "Madhav ni pod" one of friend had good experience of this place before we visit. So we decided to go there.
Cost is about 300 to 400 per person but it's worth it.
Hospitality was good, friendly staff. Interiors are nice. Places ambience is not noisy and loud. Staff numbers are more than sitting guests at a time. Food was good and hygienic. Toilets and washroom are smelling. Dishes looks unclean. Went there couple of times but still felt same. Food is little costly.
Very good Gujarati food Ambience also perfectly synched with gujarat's essence and culture.

Such a beautiful restuarant for authentic Gujarati unlimited thali situated in Vastral, Ahmedabad.
Ambience was eye catching. There are old Ahmedabad pictures everywhere on the wall and big photograph of Shree Krishna at the entrance. Service was quick and staff is well trained and polite.

Such a nice place for pure Gujarati thali, Everyday there is different menu and thats very delicious. They serve Swaminarayan and Jain food also and they also change as per your convenience. Main course is upto the mark. Otherwise starter and sweets are awesome.
