Excellent food and service with good ambience
Have been here so many times because it is near to my place and this restaurant is never failed to impress you with the super quality food and quick services.
The main thing about this restaurant is the taste and the service is never less compare to all the big names in Ahmedabad and this restaurant is way too pocket friendly.

Family restaurant. Less expensive. Food is very good in quality but less tasty. Service is fast and personnel are friendly and kind. Any day in a week you visit, you must have to wait for at least 15 min. And weekends have waiting of even 1.5 hrs.
Ambience is very nice.
Ordered paneer lababdar, paneer balti, butter naan, veg mughlai. Taste as mentioned was fair enough and could have been better.

I know about this place and it's food since last ten years and I am a big fan of kalrav.
What I am going to review is it's new interiors, sleek management and cordial hospitality.
They have worked really hard for the new look and also opened new banquet on top floor. On top of this they never really disappoint on the taste and quality.
I am a big fan of PANEER TIKKA MASALA, and it's by far one of the best PANEER gravy I have had in Ahmedabad and I can vouch for it. The taste is just divine.
And one more thing which people are unaware of is their starter. VEG LOLLIPOP. Its kinda Chinese in taste and it's worth having for sure. The price is reasonable and quantity is also good. And it will make you feel like you are having tandoori chicken.
The only drawback is their TANDOORI ROTIS or BUTTER NAANS, as they tend to be full of tandoori mitti layer on the other side. which spoils the taste and it usually happens in the take aways and there is no alternate once u take the food. As in the restaurant they happily change the ROTIS.

This is one of my favourite restaurant for north indian cuisine. The servive and the quality of food in unexpressable. Would like to go there everyday😅.
Went here since it was very close to ashram. It's bit difficult to locate as it is on the first floor and there is no visible board.. We ordered manchau soup, veg manchurian and fix meals. Soup was delicious an so was the manchurian. We shared the lunch as quantity seemed bit more for us. It had 3 tandoori rotis, 2 vegetables, jeera rice, dal tadka, chaas and gulabjam. Quality and taste was good. Filled us fully and was not heavy on pocket either.. Would definitely recommend.
It has become our family restaurant since a year. We had around four to five visits to this restaurant in two months. We ordered Paneer Lababdar and that too Jain, and I must say that it is a must try sabzi for especially Jain people.Cheese naan and kulcha is also good to savour. Overall I found all well except the quantity. The quantity they offer is bit less as compared to other restaurants. Otherwise the food is good here.

A very nice restaurant for Punjabi Cuisine in the locality and also at affordable rates. Nothing much fancy but it has nice ambience and the service is good. The taste of the food is also nice. Have tried almost all Punjabi Subjis and I am not yet disappointed.
All time favorite place. Good food at a pocket friendly rate. Visiting the place since last 10 years and its all the same . Taste of food and their service are simply so fast . The interior is also good and relaxing.

yes this is old restaurant and there is same place where I was 12 years old and now the same place with modify with furniture but taste there is same...good hotel in night time.

I have been going to this outlet since 2002 and they have maintained their reasonable rates on menu card till date. They have also done good interiors recently. Tandoori is not at all good for which i go to eat punjabi food. Also waiters are least interested if we have any question about particular sabji etc.

Ambience and location is good. Their food tastes like home made food which is very hard to find. The tomato soup was also great and their fix deluxe thali is upto the mark in quality as well as quantity. I also tried their baked macroni with pineapple and it was jst yummmieee..
This hotel is like a family hotel. Spagati roti subji souo is exalent nice quality & quantity. But 1 problem not lift so siniar citizens are not effort to step 1 flor.

Best food and good service near subhash bridge. I have been there for about 10 times but food quality surpasses even the saffron by sankalp restaurant just in front of kalrav.
I been to this restaurant more than 25 times and in this many time i have found no complaints.
Though staff is not that talkative but i know some of them n vice e versa.
Only suggestion this is more appropriate for family get together. Punjabi food here is yumm. Sorry cant say the same for chinese and others dishes.

Really delicious Indian food. They did non-spicy food for my kids when asked. I also enjoyed the Chinese-style Indian cuisine.
It was a tiring day after long travel and we wanted to have a wonderful ending to the day with delicious food. Local relatives recommended this restaurant. We had to wait around 20 mins for our turn. Staff was looking a bit tired at around 9pm running around their designated tables. Some were confused. We got one from the confused lot. Kids wanted noodles. We ate Punjabi food. He was bringing sabji and keeping on table without serving. We had to ask him to serve us. I guess he was very lazy as rotis n naan we received in first lot were tad cold. Even jeera rice and dal fry were also cold. Food was prepared and ready in kitchen but this fellow delayed everything to to the table to spoil our dining experience.
Coming to the food it was very very tasty and we enjoyed cold food very nicely.

Kalrav restaurant I guess the best restaurant for lunch and dinner time especially their fixed dish has good taste and best taste when you are totally hungry. This food is made of good quality no doubt, and also they according to the menu they had decided, no ups downs of food made. Well including food serving, service of their staff is too good as per our order, this defines their good service for the customers arrived. Food serves of better quality as we know and the taste was delicious which make more interesting to have a meal and tell to others.
Food is great..in weekend we have to wait for table service is Lil slow but overall is good..good for family dining.
Superbly cooked the Hyderabadi palav with the green spicy level as expected by an andhravala .. i.e to vizag ite.

I ordered their Fix launch for 130rs & the quality was excellent and quantity is more than enough easily 2 person can share that thali. Includes ( 3 butter roti, 2 subji paneer and veg, papad, jeera rice daal fry, gulab jamun, salad, pickle ) all this in just 130rs ( available in launch ) 👍🏻😋 This Restaurant is very old & famous in nearby areas. I am going there since childhood. Family friendly and rates are very budget friendly.
