It started a journey with ANAND when aaloo mater was just for 12 Rs only (before 2008).

It is just like any other regular snack bar but not with the regular taste! Staff is friendly. The variety of options in the menu is notable. The taste of the food is amazing too!

We tried ‘Junglee Paneer Sandwich’ & it was awesome. Must try their ‘Cheese Bhel’ & their USP ‘Vegetable Sandwich’. You will fall in love with it.

I rate this place very high for its consistency, hygiene and taste. They serve variety of sandwiches, dabeli, vadapau, bhel and cold drinks. Their panipuri is also a must try, During my several visits to this place i loved alu-mutter sandwich and jumbo dabeli the most. They have many outlets throughout the city but this one is the best.
Sandwiches wont disappoint and nor will the burger. Everything is good when it comes for food of this place. The service is fast and also the food is prepared fresh, could use a toothpick for the burger (suggestions).

One of the most happening places in Ahd where you can enjoy variety of fast food like sandwiches, dabeli, pao bhaji and other gujrati dishes. It will be crowded in evenings specially. Must visit place.
My childhood memories from the small little stall to big outlet and that too multiple outlets but they have maintained their quality till date and also added many new items which are worth eating.
My favourites:
Aloo-Mutter Sandwich: Super cool.
Vegetable Sandwich: Full of ingredients and very heavy.
Jumbo Dabeli: It is for people who has big appetite.
GCTC: It comprises of Garlic Capsicum Tomato Cheese Toast which is my all time favourite.
Veg. Puff : Superb.
This is my go to place and I always feel satisfied with their quality of bread, chutneys and the quantity too.
Don’t miss it though this is many people’s go to and favourite place but those who haven’t tried yet they must go.

A must visit place 😋 ... the place is basically located near ankur char rasta.. You must try this place out.. This place serves awesome sandwiches .. they also serve different items too on the menu which are worth trying ( jain items also available )... they offer dabeli, vadapav, bhel, lassi , pani puri etc... I tryed the Open toast.. A must try on the menu... I ordered the GCTC toast.. the toast comes with spicy masala on the top with melted cheese and it was really good ( served with tomato ketchup and green chuntey )..💙 My friend had cold drink to go with it and I tryed the Cold Coco .. COLD COCO in just 40 bucks with the quantity and taste superb .. must try this too... Surely trying there pani puri next time as it looked tempting.. Order cold coco and open toast without a second thought and not to forget the place in well maintained with cleanleness and a water cooler..its super clean they have a comfortable space in the shop where u can enjoy ur food .. the place is well maintained.. keep it up cheers. ✌
The quality of the food is very good they make a clean environment in the place and the food is also very delicious. I specially love the Italian pizza though they increase the price very often but they always maintain an excellent quality.
Ohh maa.. this place was so crowded with people..
Anyways their service was quite quick, but they just forgot one of our orders and received that after an hour waiting ☹️.
We had ordered:
Fry Dabeli: was nicely balanced in taste and yummy.
Aloo Mutter Sandwich: this too was nice, but if you don’t love sweet than avoid ordering it.
Italian Pizza: was a perfect pizza made for a gujarati, crispy toasted base with little sweet gravy and veggies topped with lots of processed cheese.
Cheese Chutney Grilled Sandwich: This was the one that made us wait for an hour, and when it finally came into our hands, ohh maaa soooo much of mozzarella and processed cheese ... we were not able to complete the whole.
Veg. Hot dog: This was nice with crispy tikki type inside it and topped with some cheese.
So overall the experience was great... would recommend this place..

Since childhood used to eat from ANAND. A renowned name in ankur, Naranpura. There sandwiches are popular. I have almost tasted every item in their menu. 3 in one i like the most. Dabeli is also good.
Overall: Tasty. Tasty. Tasty.
You say Naranpura Cross Roads and you immediately say Anand. That’s how popular this place is. It’s an official landmark, to guide someone for directions in the vicinity. Anand has been serving since more than a decade now with its signature Vada Pav, Dabeli and Sandwiches. My home is not nearby but a friend’s is and we have eaten here on several occasions.
They’re specially known for the quantity of cheese they use for the food. Be it the sandwiches or Dabeli or Bhel, their sumptuous overload of cheese is going to give your diet a run (if you’re on one). Off lately, they’ve even started to server Pani Puri, Pizza and Hot Dog/Burgers.
Over the years they’ve surged their prices but still has managed the customer delight. Only on rarest occasion you’ll not find rush here.

Best place to have sandwich at Ankur road. Hot, delicious and fresh. No matter grilled or not, both are mouth watering. Their plus point is that they put more cheese. No sitting area, so you need to stand and eat. It crowded always and delicious as always. Ankur road ka asli maza toh Anand sandwich hi hai!
Only for quick bites and budget friendly meal. All the items tastes good and have good quality. It's a road side joint with no parking available. It may happen that car parking is not be available most of the time. Sandwich, Dabeli, Vadapav, etc tastes good.
Much known fast food center in ahmedabad. I loved all sandwitches served here. The quality of food is great. There are many other fast food centers around it but this one is the busiest. Avoid to go there on weekend nights its overcrowded. You too will have parking issues.
I went to this place during off time (3:30pm), so the place had only few customers. We ordered cheese pulav, masala dosa and chana poori. Quantity of the food was amazing! Taste is okay, not too great. Can grab a bite when around. Light on pocket as well.
My favourite fast food corner. I have tried almost everything over here. Let me enlist the best ones: Bombay club grill, Italian Pizza, Cheese chatni grill, Hot dog, Alumutter for which it got famous. Tried strawberry shake and was not good.

Had been there today. Such a crowdy place in the centre of the city. This area has so many fast food joints and Anand the most busy joint among them. On Sunday evening...plz try to avoid this place if it's possible. Because much rush, quite mismanagement of the services and even no place to stand. Traffic and crowd make this place so noisy.
Quality of the sandwich was quite good. Even now they started so much varieties of food including farali items also.

Our all time favourite place. One of the best fast food store in town. If you love lots of cheese, then you must visit this place. Besides of that you can order regular snacks like alumatar sandwich , dabeli , vadapau, puff etc. Italian pizza is super duper fine. Cheese bhel would be preferable. Over all you got right place for fast food.

Anand is very famous and oldest place in Ankur area of ahmedabad. Front area of the shop is very highlighted, Very famous for sandwiches and pizza. Must try three in one sandwich., Quality of the food is very tasty and quantity is also very good. Service is also very fast. Only minus point is don't have sitting space and very much crowd all the time soo very much noisy . For sandwich lover definitely try atleast once.
One of the oldest place for having food in Ankur Area.. This place is famous for Sandwiches and Pizza.. They are very reasonable in rates and one can end up eating at affordable prices.. Must try - Italian Pizza.. Also try their different grill sandwiches.. If you are visiting this place on weekend then take enough time because in most cases you will have to wait.. Also proper seating arrangement is not done so you can not spend much time here..

Its one of the well known and famous place in Naranpura (Ankur) to eat Snacks.
I am frequently visit this place since its inception. He has started with just one single shop and his main business was supply of milk and other dairy items. But then over a period of this till today they made expansions and serves snacks in shops (covers more 3) at single location.
Although they serves many items in snacks. But for me due to I am Jain have limited options. But then also have great varieties in Sandwiches.

All these three items are my favorite.

Yesterday I had tried sandwiches for the first time here. One of my friend had recommended especially this outlet. I loved the sandwiches and the service is phenomenal. "Anand" - The review only focuses on pizza. Though had bad experience just before 2 days at their other branch , my sis unaware of that , brought italian pizza for me fromthis branch.
So the review starts -
Italian Pizza - As soon as you open box you see cheese cheese & cheese everywhere and then you cant resist to take bite of it ahh that perfect crunch of base , properly baked , the proper combination of ingredients , too much cheese thats enough for a pizza to be delicious. If they apply just a bit less pizza sauce then it would be more awesome.
Suggestion to readers who are reading this - If you want to try anand's snacks just go to this outlet , their other branch which is mentioned in picture at bottom is a waste of money.

I visited this place many times with family n friends and tested sandwichs.. its realy awesome. . Alu n veg sandwich were superb. . Alo veg mix n cheese sandwichs were also good.. Sandwich bread size is really big and if you it 2 sandwichs..its enough for your stomach. . Also try veg hotdog.. its bigger n very testy.. panipuri also good.. very hygiene n testy as well.. from my side thmps up.. go 4 it.. must try.. very cheap as well..
It was a nice place from the beginning but after its renovation it's become even better. Nice ordering system. The sandwiches, pizzas, bhel etc are superb. One may think that 70-80 bucks are too much even other chain restaurants bill lesser, but it is quite distinctive. You will get proper satisfaction against your payment. Also panipuri is a new item . Must visit.

4.5 star for its pizza! Not dominos kind pizza but indian street side pizza! Very tangy and good quantity, i bet u wont need anything other to eat to fill your tummy even as lunch or dinner ;)
They make food items with all their heart! Amount of cheese they add on top of pizza and in sandwich is really appreciable! Nowhere in world i have seen someone adding such amount of cheese with free hand!
Many people like pineapple and chocolate sandwich and pizza, but i have not tries and dont want to try! Whenever i visit, i cant control myself ordering pizza here :p

Anand has it's journey from rag to riches.... From being a street food stall to now an fast growing fast food chain . I am eating here for quite a few years now but never has the alu muter sandwich disappointed me. Lip smacking toasted dabeli with quite a few variations with bread. Cadbury sandwich is sweeter then any sweet dish I have eaten. However for 70 rs its an value for money snack. One time try I would suggest, with an customization on little or no jam. Just one Cadbury sandwich leaves no room for the next meal. Must try Alu mutter sandwich pure simple and Devine
Obviously this is street food joint so no question of service..so i ignore this matter..but in case of street food the matter of taste comes..and compare to ol other nearby street food this has awasum taste..mainly paubhaji..mostly 70% ppl comes here for paubhaji only..so its good here compare to other paubhaji street joints..yeah obviously no good sitting facility or service..bcoz this is street food..but paubhaji lover like this..

At around 4 today, a friend suggested that we go to Anand for sandwiches. While I have heard about Anand a lot and knew about its popularity, I was negotiating with this friend to rather go to a place closer by because of the heat wave these days. However, dragged I was to Anand without much scope of confrontation. And glad I am that I did go. Going all the way to Anand was worth-worthwhile.
Another of a street-food vendor turned fast-food joint, Anand surpasses a lot of joints in this league. The sandwiches are awesome. Be it vegetable sandwich or cheese grilled, its made dil-se. I liked Alu-vegetable mix sandwich. Double cheese pizza is yum. I also tried vada pav for which I would say its much above average.
Anand was full with people when we went and I hear it is mostly crowded in evening hours. Being right on a busy road, it is quite noisy and rushed but a little better than chaotic. But the service was quite quick. They have a stiff competition from Charbhuja very close-by and equally popular. Though I think Anand has more pluses. Average priced, it is worth the quality and quantity.
Going to Ankur area does not happen often for me but I am all convinced to go that side, once-in-a-while, for Anand.
I don't think place like this needs a review...

Tasty options, we ordered cheese bhel, dabeli and hot dog. Cheese bhel was the best! Hot dog wasnt as great given it was a bit oily but overall a fantastic place for a quick bite.

Few food points Never Gets Old.
The Quality , Quantity and Value for Money remain same even after decades and Decades.
Few of them are Aanand Sandwich at Ankur Cross Road.
This place is always crowded at any time.
And You just cant imagine the rush during #Uttarayan or #Navratri.
While going to college initial years , Ankur cross road was my daily route in AMTS Bus.
200 and 300 Number circular route to Gujarat University and some time I used to get down here just for having sandwiches , Swaminarayan Khichdi or Ankur Dalwada. So many memories.
So, we have decided to go again to this nostalgic place and had
1) #Europa Club Jumbo Grill Sandwich 🥪 : A Giant Jumbo Sandwich which is loaded with #Mohabbat of Amdavad ( yes, Cheese. #Amdavadi o no Prem atle #Cheese )
2) #Cheese_Chutney Grill Sandwich : All time favourite and famous in all age group. We just loved it.
There are vast menu one can explore but go in group if you want to try different sandwiches or burger or Hot Dog.

Good place to have fast food.
All the food items are so delicious which I have tried. Veg sandwich is delicious and also pizza is delicious. You need to take token first to give order. There is self service. You need to take food at your own. You can park your vehicle on the road. There is also one counter for panipuri outside it. Pani puri is nice. Overall good.
Too awesome food. You're going to love the taste. It'll take 1 hr or more to prepare your sandwich. but it's worth the wait.
