Fix Punjabi thali is good option to try. Quantity & Quality both are good. Pricing is normal. Service & ambience is decent. Good place for punjabi food near RTO.

On our way to sabarmati ashram we came across this restaurant at a junction where we decided to have our lunch. This restaurant looks pricey given the other neighboring hotels but trust me guys it's not. Their executive lunch is a 'Seal the Deal'
We were four of us. My mom and dad were too tired to look through the menu and order food so they settled for the executive lunch.
The executive lunch was a wholesome meal with 4 chapatis, 2 gravies of which one was paneer Zanjhari (which was in Today's special and not to be found on the menu) and other was normal aloo mutter ki sabji, Dal - great consistency , rice - basmati, papad- fried, gulab jamun - a bit hard and ice cream vanilla flavoured. A total value for money meal.
Me and my brother settled for onion garlic kulcha & garlic naan with Paneer Zanjhari and fried rice. The paneer sabji was medium spiced red gravy went well with the garlic nan. Garlic naan with lots of finely chopped garlic and generous butter was just the way I wanted. I like my fried rice really simple and basic with no non sense, but here they serve fried rice tossed in soya sauce. I was skeptical about the dark brown fried rice but it wasn't that bad. The soya sauce was in moderate quantity. They don't serve schezwan sauce alongside.
The service is a bit slow but no compromise on food quality and also the restaurant is not pricey as it appears to be. I would say a good place to have your dinner with family and friends.

Little Bit Costly. There is no Parking slot so if you park your vehicle on road it may be toeing by Police.

Nice restaurant nearly 800 metres away from Sabarmati ashram. Ambience is good. Service was quick. We ordered 2 thalis. Food was excellent and tasty. I would recommend for good vegetarian food. Waiting time during weekdays was 10 minutes. Spent 400 for 2 thalis a'nd fresh lime juice.

It is a restaurant located at opposite RTO circle , there are many restaurants in this area , this restaurant is serving Punjabi , Chinese dishes , you can perfect Punjabi combo like fixed packs , good is good and ambience is also average , nice place to go with friends and family. Thier fixed pack lunch is one of the best option among other items

This restaurant offers wide range of cuisines including Punjabi, South Indian, Fast food etc. in decent taste. Staff behaviour is friendly and Management are also professional.

From decade I seen this restaurant serve same taste. They maintained same look, same interior & same taste from more than thirty years , at same place . This restaurant located near Subhash bring, at ground floor, whenever we go we seen all table full that mean it's just worth to go there. The fresh food same taste you get here. Fast service by all staff and owner are cooperative. Restroom clean.they have their own Panjabi authentic style and typical taste. I just love to be here when I really hungry. Must visit it...HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The Veg Thali is more than enough. ₹ 135 is very reasonable price.. 3 Rotis, 2 Subjis ( one Panner ) , Jeera Rice, Dal, 1 Sweet, 1 Papad. Taste was also good.
But when we ordered extra plate of Paneer Masala, it costs ₹ 235 & taste was not so much good.. So my opinion, go for only Thali.. Separate plates are expensive..

It is one of the best restaurants we've ever been to! I have went there several times with my friends and family and the service has been constantly immaculate! The best thing they offer is consistency. Many times when we visit different restaurants, the food quality depletes or improves, it never stays the same and its a real buzz kill, but with Handi the food is consistently delicious each and every time. The whole staff is really welcoming and will treat you royally. Must visit atleast once in your lifetime.
