Really great North Indian food! Delicious soups, only wished they would serve broccoli almond soup, instead of the plane broccoli soup. The paneer tikka is a must try. In the main course everything was superb except for the masaledar tava subzi. And I hope next time the 'vegetable chop masala' preparation is available as the description mentioned in the menu is really interesting.

As a South East Asian foreigner who can't take spicy food, the fried paneer tikka (don't know if that's the actual dish name, but picture is attached here) is a heaven sent to me. It's crunchy, mild yet tasty enough for my taste buds. I super loved it! I will have this dish again should I have the chance to go back to Ahmedabad.
The rest of our orders are okay, but the paneer is my favorite dish throughout my 1 whole week stay in Ahmedabad.

Went here with a bunch of friends on a weekday eve for dinner, so the place wasn't so crowded. The ambience is very beautiful and varied especially those tables at the center.
We ordered Bhutta cigar and bhatti ka paneer for the starters, they both were so good at presentation and taste both.
For main course we had Nargis kofta and a paneer preparation for the main course and I must say that I am satisfied with the Punjabi cuisine served here both tasted well.
The service is also prompt and speedy.
A great place for family dining, has great options for Indian food. After going through the menu for about 15 minutes, we ended up ordering Paneer preparation from Indian Curries along with some starters.
The Punjabi Food here lives up to the expectations and seems fresh and well prepared. The presentation is given special attention and the service is great as well.

I was here last week for my uncle’s birthday. The restaurant has several themes right from Bollywood, cricket to galaxy and celebrities.
What I most liked about being here, was that, the service of the staff was very good. Palak Chaat and the Platter were the dishes for the day.
In the deserts section as well, they had various unique dishes like the Lichi Kheer and Palak Halwa.

Overall my experience goes well here. Tasty food with cool ambiance nd very interactive staff. .
P.S don’t miss Palak halwa nd Litchi ki Tehri for dessert. Apart from gajar now palak ka halwa is also my new favorite. .

Jalpaan serves lip smacking vegetarian food, to be specific North Indian dishes apart from continental dishes and youths favorite fast food. This single restaurant consists of four different themes in sequence. When you enter the restaurant, you are welcomed and blessed by the idol of Lord Ganesha. 1st theme you experience is beach and sea theme, then sports theme followed by universe theme & lastly bollywood stars and films theme.
We started with Cooker Pani Puri & Karara Palak Chaat.. One puri stuffed with masala over a small replica of cooker filled with spiced water. spice water was tangy..Karara Palak Chaat was awesome. I still has its taste in my mind.(This is strongly recommended by me)
We tried their “Winter Special Menu” specially curated for chilli days… Then served with main course consisting of Sarson Da Saag, Baingan ka Bhartha accompanied with Makki ki Roti & Bajare Ki roti.. while Sarson da saag & baingan ka bhartha was awesome…Bajare ki roti as I am used to eat in different way and style, although its preparation was innovative It was so.so..Well bajara ki roti was roasted in tandoor…which was quite innovative. But since roasting in tandoor made it thin and cruncy, it was not convenient to have it with saag or bhartha.
Then came rice course…consisting their famous Potli Biryani cooked in new avtar, Veg Khichdi & Mexican Khichdi . Potli Biryani is their inhouse innovation wherein sort of hyderabadi biryani is tied in flat rolled dough then filled with Biryani, and then deep fried. Deep frying the whole of biryani indirectly explodes the new flavor of spices which gives exotic feeling when you eat. Veg Khichdi & Mexican Khichdi were tasty too.
To end the visit with sweet note, we relished Chocolate Jamun, Litchi ki tehri, Palak Halwa & Paan Shot. Although not true fan of chocolate, Palak Halwa was awesome…a must try dessert..
I ordered paneer Tikka with roti combo. It was so buttery. Such a nice food. Good staff well disciplined. Definitely a good experience with restaurant.
We found really good ambience. Food was also delicious and of superior quality. Especially we liked starters and desserts too much. Chocolate jamun is the plat I would recommend especially. Staff was quite cooperative and service provided was exceptionally well. Really nice for food lovers.

Recently I have gone at this place and just loved the ambience and interior of the hotel. The place is having too many photo shoot points. The food is served in a unique way and I loved the presentation of the food being served.

The place awesome. Ambiance is great. Their are some parts in ambiance like one part’s wall is full of sports things. Another part is full of Bollywood things and another one part is like universe. We had unlimited lunch pack. It was really nice. Taste of every food items are very nice. And the best part of all is their paan flavour shots as a mouth refresher (Mukhwas) at the end. Unique and mesmerizing ambiance :I have been here twice.For the first time I visited I got so mesmerized by the interiors.Unique concept with one corner has different sports items hanging,one corner has some Bollywood posters and inside corner has walls painted like galaxy,yellow,blue and green colored chairs add spark to it and the hanging Ship and upside down table adds more uniqueness to it.

First time I visited and ordered ala karte. I am not fond of pasta but the arrabiata pasta we ordered was too delicious so that I could not resist myself.Main course was also decent enough the sabzi tasted amazing.Naan and Roti were very fresh and soft.In the last they gave pan shots as complimentary.
Second time we went for unlimited food. Although all items were good but I felt,it doesn't have the same quality which I found when we ordered ala karte food.
Service is very good and staff also greets and treats customer very well.
This place is costlier than other restaurants with same quality of food.But if you want to visit some place with different kind of interiors this one should be considered.

The Food is good. Quality is good. Taste could have been better. Service was a bit slow and the unavailability of few food items was a bit annoying. Taste of Gol Gappa was good especially the way it was served. Though the famous "Potli Biryani" was stated unavailable still they manage to make it on special demand. Must try.

Jalpaan is a good mix of fancy ambience (with different themes at separate spots), quality food, interesting menu and commendable service.
We ordered Vegetable Rissoto soup, Zuppa De Broccoli soup and Tilli Baby Corn for the starters. And I can blindly recommend these all to you. Also, I would add to the list of my recommendation- Virgin Colada, Quesadillas and Lasagna.
And if you're a baby corn fan like me, go for Special Tacos!
If you are ordering Punjabi cuisine, the vegetable quantity would be enough for three while one naan could easily be enough for two given for its plentiful size. In case mainstream Indian breads are too bland for you , the aloo kulchaas and roomali rotis here are amazing. Go ahead.

We ordered two lunch buffet to avoid the ordering Chaos.hehe.We started from tomato/ Hot n sour soup. The starters were limited and it had mini papdi pizza and Hariyali kabab. Main course consisted of butter/plain roti and mix veg and paneer Rogan Josh and veg biryani(unlimited). Dessert consisted of chocolate ice cream and liquid paan(worth trying)

My overall view:
I feel like their old branch which was near Prahlad nagar road was much better compare to current one on Thaltej because its too outside and metro block the beauty of restaurant so when we have visited it was empty on Sunday lunch time.
Not go for the other photos which I have seen on Google with different designed platters but not found any such decorative or any such extra but its just simple dine in restaurant so keep that in mind instead of watching over hype reviews.
You can visit with family and friends for piece and good taste of food with multiple items on table and hot serve by them in Unlimited option as well instead of on other multi-cuisine they provide buffet.

The place is good and food quality is also very good. I have tried pizza, dragon coling roll, vegetable quesadillaa and lasagna. The pizza and lasagna is very good in taste and very well cooked.
