Authentic punjabi food. Good taste and quality. Cheese butter masala was superb in taste. Also loved dal makhani and biryani. Dal makhani was dhaba style not the authentic one but tastes good.
A pure dhaba style punjabi food with great taste. You must try it
We have been here multiple times and it has never dissapointed. It is not a fancy place but the food is great.

Food is very good and very tasty.
I have been a regular customer of kesar foods since 2010 and it really makes me feel surprised that they still manage to provide the same quality and service. Punjabi fix thali tastes still the same .
The restaurant serves the great taste of food and the food is felt hygienic and fresh from outset. If some discount be added which will could be furthermore helpful
Punjabi Food is amazing but service is slow. I tried various restaurants for good Punjabi food this is the best true Punjabi taste, same like good North Indian Punjabi resturants
Awesome food. We have ordered cheese butter masala so many times and it's awesome. Can't get better cheese butter masala than Kesar for sure.. and butter naan was also awesome so buttery. Best naan ever.
A tiny outlet in Vastrapur area, famous for its Punjabi meals. The place has absolutely nothing to offer on ambience or decor front, however the food is exceptional. The rates are really moderate compared to the quality and quantity of food offered. Our favourite here is Cheese Butter Masala and dal makhani. Also try out their mango Lassi.
Good punjabi food with light gravy....the food is delivered on time in proper packing....fresh and healthy....parathas are a must try and dal makhani is all time favourite
I only ordered their patiala lassi which was yummm😋 it was delight having your food kesar foods😍 the glass of lassi was itself so biggg that it was enough for my small (#tuchku) stomach😅 also the packaging was so good😊#longlivefoodcommunity ♥️
What do you do when neither your mom nor your aunt is in the mood to cook dinner? You go out and have it. But what if you have elderly grandparents who can't stay longer at the restaurants? You make use of food delivery services. :)
That's exactly what we did and ordered our dinner from Kesar that night. My sister recommended this place to us as she is a frequent visitor at their restaurant in Vastrapur.
Their vegetarian-only menu includes a variety of parathas, Paneer and Vegetables North Indian gravies/dry, rice, and bread.
We ordered their extremely popular Cheese Butter Masala, Khoya Kaju, Jeera Rice, Dal Fry, Naans, Kulchas and phulkas. Thanks for the food delivery service, the order was delivered on time.
The CBM and Khoya Kaju were exquisite. Both were rich in flavour and had a consistent thick gravy. The combination of tangy and sweet created an explosion in my mouth. A MUST TRY.
The bread items were excellent as well. All of them were soft and the butter naan actually had butter.
The rice was tasty and the dal fry was cooked to perfection.
The entire meal was heavenly. Even my grandparents were mind-blown by the quality of the food. All of us literally overate.
Their rates are well within anyone's budget. I'll say they are less as compared to their quality. The food here is worth your money.
Cheers!
We ordered lahsuni daal and paneer tikka Masala roti and chole Kulcha combo.
The ambiance was good. Worth spending time. The food was drool worthy. Each had the authentic punjabi taste.
5/5 for the food and the quick service.
So right in the heart of the city in Vastrapur, in a basement is this restaurant run by a Punjabi Uncle.
Yes the food is slightly oily, but the quantity and the taste for the price charged makes me give one more star.
Masala papad was regular.
Ordered paneer masala Lababdar which had onion and capsicum along with paneer in red gravy. Right amount of spicy for a curry.
The cheese naan was the best. With Dollops of cheese loaded inside, it was not chewy at all till I finished the meal.
It costs just 150-170 per person with food difficult to finish.
Forget big names n swanky restaurants. This place serves the best North Indian food hands down. The consistency in taste is unbeatable and those who like their food to be lip smacking there is no one in whole city who can beat this place.
I ordered aloo paratha and amritsari paratha at my work..both parathas are very delicious..curd is also yummy and the quantity of curd is very good for each paratha..they also send amul butter😍. Overall is fantastic food.
Superb Naan and butter Rotis. Love the hydrabadi biryani & Daal tadka :) Good parathas and lassi. i m regular customer of this place. Here i found area of improvement is the taste of cheese butter masala sabji gravy and koya kaju. It was ok compare to i used to get it in this place. Rest worth to visit :)
Outlet is managed by Sikh family and for sure you will experience the taste of Punjab. Ordered paneer kadai cheese naan and lassi. gauranteed you find flavours of Punjab here
I have been there a lot! And hands down , one of the best places it is to have Punjabi... Once you enter, you might not like the ambience and there is this strange smell to the place but once the food is served and you take that first bite, Oh my God , you just forget everything else , it's like nothing else really matter and you just fall in love with that place! And my top favorite from the menu is cheese butter masala with tandoori and some cheese pulaw and special lassi!!!
The price is worth the taste and it's just amazing I don't know what else to say.
For me , the satisfactory level is 100%
It not a big lavish restaurant, but it’s paratha are much tempting ..
And his fixed dinner plate is also very tasty and is also value for money...
even I have tasted panner ki sabzi and veg kadai is also very good...
Ordered roti and dalmakhani. They forgot the curd, but the food was great. Nice, warm, well packed and looked fresh. Delivery was great too. Will order again.
If you crave for proper punjabi food or you want a feel like dhaba then you must visit this place.
Well, this is not a fancy kinda place a small decent place at Vastrapur which have non ac and ac both seating and serves you some yumm food.
Reasonable rates and tasty food!
Must have: Garlic Naan, Cheese Garlic Naan, Cheese butter Masala
Authentic basic Punjabi food for daily outside eaters. Their Punjabi Shahi lassi is to die for. Whenever I want to eat authentic Punjabi food I visit there though the place is small but the food is amazing.
The orders placed by us are reached to us before time they have given...And the dishes are actual yummy..
Our group's all time favorite resturant when we are celebrating any event. One of the best punjabi serving resturant. We have always get our order delivered. But the food is simply amazing. Try Cheese Butter Masala. Budget :- $$
Stuffed naan can be improved
nice mast ek number delivery
packaging leaking when arrived
appreciate his efforts delivered before time that too in heavy rain..
the food was tasty as always. i had chosen tawa rotis but got the tandoori rotis. I would suggest they are more cafeful in the future.
Really good delivery. He didn't even call once.
Had ordered from this place recently. The order was on time. Their packaging was good. Ordered two subzis (cheese butter masala and paneer toofani). Talking about the taste, both were good (4/5). My only complaint is regarding the quantity as that was a bit less.
I placed an order of channa masala , butter naan and a cheese garlic naan . The order was delivered on time .
The taste was awesome i guess the best place to eat channa masala at a reasonable price i m giving a 4 star
Amazing Punjabi food as reasonably cheap rates. I have been to this place many times and have always found value for money. Parathas, Lassi and Punjabi curries are the main attraction for me.
good food, needs better packing
Simple food ! No fuss !
Good old punjabi food. Restaurant was quick in preparing the order. Spot on ! Tried Paneer Toofani, Dal Makhani and Butter Naan.
Tasted fresh.
Gorgeous.
If you're craving Punjabi cuisine, Kesar is the place to be! Their menu boasts a delightful array of dishes, all bursting with flavor. Don't miss out on classics like Dal Makhani, Cheese Butter Masala, Chole Kulche, and Paneer Kulcha – they're all incredibly tasty. Your taste buds are in for a real treat! 🍛😋
Tried fix launch pack and taste was awesome.
Specially veg. sabji.
Pocket friendly price, value for money.
Must try - Amritsari kulcha combo.
Suggestion - they should work on softness of roti.
Thank you.
I used to eat here all the time during my college. Today I returned after 10 years (because I don't live in the city), and the food is still as amazing if not better.
The new generation has taken over and actually improved a lot. I heard they are planning to expand to more places. I hope it happens.
Hand down the best Punjabi of my life.
I’ve been going to this place ever since it was a small dining place. The food quality hasn’t change ever since. One of the best places to have north Indian food & with decent prices. Lassi is amazing as always & food is amazing too.
I visit here every time I’m on n Ahmedabad.
One of the Punjabi restaurant in Ahmedabad. Food quality and quantity are also good. Here is small dining area but service are so much good. Staff behavior is nice with customers
Nice food & enough for one person
We had Cheese butter masala, amritsari cheese kulcha, patiyala lassi, chana masala. And food was really amazing 😋 although ambience wasn't very pleasant but prices of food is very minimal and taste was delicious.
