We ordered Pav Bhaji mixed. Though it doesn't look that good, it was very tasty.
Never ever i had a n ice cream sandwich in my life n i doubted wats so famous abt it. So go n try n u ll get to noe why! Taste perfect as the icrecream between breads applied with pineapple jam. Must try.
Let me begin by saying everything (literally) on the menu is outrightly mouthwatering and absolutely worth trying. Scrumptious and succulent are words which fall short to describe the luscious taste of the sandwiches and pizzas served here.
They have adopted the Amdavadi pallet (essentially sweet) deftly and skillfully.
The way a market gets converted into a fast food joint in the evening is a sight. A befitting tribute to the foodies of Ahmedabad.

Located bang in the middle of Manek chowk, it has the best treats.
The pineapple sandwich is not to be missed, it'll surprise you. I was honestly shocked when I tried it, absolute 5/5.
The grilled sandwich was delicious as well! The chocolate one is a little overwhelming tbh, not my favourite. Everything is worth a try!

We tried the Pineapple Jam Cheese Sandwich and also the Kulfi Cheese sandwich. Both of them were amazing and lip-smacking. It will definitely keep you bewildered as to about if it is a snack or a dessert. But it is definitely worth your time and money. Reasonably priced, soft and succulent, loved it overall!
We tried a lot of things here, from Pav Bhaji, to noodles, to sandwich. Now, I love Pav Bhaji, so I'm always biased towards that dish. But here the winner of our meal was Chocolate ice cream sandwich! I can't recommend this sandwich enough! It was surprisingly good, with a perfect combination of sweet (ice cream) and salty (cheese) I loved it so much that I already want to go back and order it again. Don't miss this particular sandwich whenever you go to Manek Chowk

It is a double decker Sandwich filled with a cheese and chocolate combination in both the layers, topped with chocolate chips it is worth the money, the service is super fast and on point.
I loved the concept of ice cream sandwiches. My favorite is pineapple cheese ice cream sandwich so yummy loaded with cheese (I cant eat that much cheese) and that pineapple piece in every bite that's amazing.
They have no proper seating capacity and they are always in a haphazard position.

As my cousins visited us from Mumbai, we decided to go to Manek Chowk after watching late night movie. One of the best place for night life and late night food lovers. (Amdavadis have every less options ;) ) Its open till 3 Am I guess. We had Pineapple, Chocolate S/W and Double Cheese Pizza. Pizza was also crispy and yummy with good amt. of cheese loaded. Today I came to why people are mad for it. We loved it compare to other dishes which we ordered other than S/w n Pizza. Overall superb experience. :) π

Been here yesterday , for the first time tried the ghogra sandwich and icecream sandwich. The taste was yummy and delicious and s it is known for their special ghogra sandwich , its was totally mesmerizing. We have also ordered chocolate icecream and chocolate sandwich, in which chocolate sandwich was okk, bt chocolate icecream sandwich was fabulous. Overall it was great experience in manek chowk. Must try this sandwiches, whenever u visit manek chowk

If there is one place every Amdavadi would suggest a non-Amdavadi to visit at least once during their stay in the city, it undeniably is Manek Chowk- A paradise for all food lovers! The hustle bustle, the horns, the craziness, the long queues for a table, the aroma of food coming from numerous food stalls, cheesy preparation of dishes, loads of butter and deliciousness is enough to summarize every night scene at Manek Chowk.
I hered many reviews about their sandwiches, specially the Cadbury and Pineapple sandwich.
Finally got a chance to try the sandwich. I ordered Cadbury Sandwich, Pineapple Sandwich and Manek Grill (gugara).
The Cadbury Sandwich had three layers of bread full of Cadbury, cheese and butter and it was heavy and delicious. Chocolate lovers would love this. Second I tried the Pineapple Sandwich, that also had three layers of bread with butter, pineapple jam and fresh pineapple slices and cheese. I like pineapple so this was best for me and with fresh slices on last layer of sandwich it tasted really good. Last I tried the gugara sandwich i.e Manek Grill and that was also very good and the taste of green chutney in it was good.
Must try this place for these varieties of sandwiches.ππ

This is a night Bazaar ! It starts after all jewelry shops at manek Chowk close down. Even after midnight this place is extremely crowded .

- ghughara has lots of cheese n butter. Perfectly grilled or we can say backed.
- kulfi sandwich is a dessert. Slice of kulfi in two layers of bread. Then pineapple jam in second layer. To make it even heavy, lots of grated cheese on top.
- for those who haven't been here, it's unique experience. A makeshift place which starts after the gold shops closes and this area is packed with tables n chairs - see photo. But don't go if u prefer ambiance n cleanliness
On Friday night out with office colleagues and selection was manekchowk. As usual much crowdy place after 10 minutes got table. Ordered two specialty "chocolate sandwich" and "Ghooghra" both are awesome in taste. Must try these two if you visit. Attending staff was good specially "Harsh".....

Nightlife in Ahmedabad revolves a lot around gastronomic heavens and Manek Chowk rules these heavens since decades.
Right in the heart of the old city, there is a square - jewelry market during the day. Every evening, around 7, the magic happens and it transforms itself into a guzzling food plaza. Jewelry shops close and the open parking space at the center of the square gets cleared to make space for food stalls and chairs-tables.
The seating area is shared by all the stalls. So, irrespective of where are you seated, you can order anything in the vicinity - from Pav bhaji, Pulau, Sandwiches, Uttapam, Dosas to Noodles, Manchurian and Pizzas. If you feel like eating something innovative, you can even go for Cadbury sandwich, Cadbury cheese pizza, Gwalia dosa, Ice-cream sandwich and Pineapple pizza. I have tried almost everything at least once and have never been disappointed. This is more of a group place - so you see a table typically occupied by a group of family or friends. It also works well because you get to try multiple things at one go when you are in a group.
Once you are done with the dinner, leave some space for desserts. And for that you βmustβ go to Asharfiβs kulfi which will bring you the most amazing varieties of kulfis. It is one of oldest chains in Ahmedabad, which started in the 1940s and has been pioneers of kulfi to the extent that the name Asharfi has become equivalent to kulfis for Amdavadis. They even claim that nobody has ever fallen sick due to their kulfi.
Overall, Manek Chowk has everything a foodie can ask for in terms of taste and quality of food. If you are in Ahmedabad, you MUST VISIT.

You come to manekchowk and you absolutely cannot miss this place. The concept of an ice cream sandwich sounds very weird. But its absolutely worth the try. Once you receive your italian pizza, you realize that they did not top it up with the whole cheese cube only because there was no more space. Chocolate lovers, rejoice ! One of the most innovative sandwich places that you will get to see .. And it's not a place that you might fall in love when you visit the first time, but it certainly grows on you. Some of the best combinations include ghughro sandwich (baked sandwich with cheese, onions and capsicum), cheese pineapple sandwich, chocolate sandwich and the latest one being ice-cream sandwich.
One has to say that it's not the cheapest places, especially for a place with tables on the roadside, but still it's a unique experience ... worth undergoing time and again.

Staying up in Ahmedabad for years, i have never been to this place. Heard a lot about it but could never make it up. Went this week witfamily at around 1am when India won the match against Bangladesh. What a scene it was. More than 300 ppl at one place and all food stalls around with so many options to treat ur taste buds. My brother had been to this stall so we went up straight without thinking twice. We ordered pav bhaji and sandwich and pizza. Taste was amazing and there's no way i can say i have had better pav bhaji than this. Sandwich and pizza was too good but pav bhaji was excellent. Must try. Ask for extra cheese and relish every bote :)
Being a hardcore non vegetarian; a trip to Gujarat did not promise much on terms of food initially but the discovery of the night adda and food at Manek Chowk offering its lip smacking vada pavs, koolfis and the must must must have pineapple ice cream cheese sandwich and chocolate pizza was a lipsmacking surprise.
The ice cream sandwich and the kulfi sandwich, both of which were with a thick topping of cheese were a revelation. But maybe the absence of cheese could have helped keep the focus on the sandwich housing the ice cream

The food was pretty nice what makes it special is that you get to eat such a variety of food at late midnight. The service was quick. The cheese pizza was topped with high amount of cheese you never have to order extra cheese in Gujarat. The place was very lively. Loved it. It's a crave buster for every night owl.

U get anything and everything here..just find a table and get seated and keep on ordering...we had ordered Gwalior dosa, schezwan dosa, pav bhaji , chocolate sandwich , ice cream sandwich , Chinese ...and everything was the best I ever had..they put butter and cheese sooo generously...that too they use amul butter and cheese ...I will never forget the taste of chocolate sandwich.

One of the famous sandwich maker in manek chowk because they served different types of sandwiches like chees chutney, cheese pineapple and one of my favourite ghughara sandwiches and the taste of all sandwiches was so delicious. I am just loved with pineapple cheese must try whenever you visit manekchowk at night time. I recommend to all to try sandwiches and make some beautiful memories here.

I had heard a lot amount famous Khau Gali of Ahemdabad at Manek Chowk , a night food Bazar for delecious Street foods.
During my visit I have enjoyed its ice cream sandwiches which is full of cheese, presentation was looking good and attractive.

The sandwich was good. Pizza was sweet..the base is a thick round bread,topped with sweet tomato ketchup, cheese and a bit of bell pepper and onion.u will like it if u like ketchup..oregano basil etc spices are not used.
There are other stalls too in the food market selling kulfi, dosas,pulao,bhaji pau,momos,fruit shots,chaat. Adequate seating available.
