I belong to Mumbai and have visited almost all authentic restos and so was in search of real food as I am a big foodie and I found out this place and it turned out to be a very good place to be at. They have some real choices of rotis you must try. Very good place to be with family and friends. But the sad part will always be NO ALCOHOL as it's a dry state being a Mumbai guy with such an ambience it becomes a must.. all in all a very good place. Service good food good

Since I was craving for Shorba, I decided to give this place a try! I ordered Murgh Badami Shorba and to my surprise it tasted amazingly well. The perfectly spiced shorba and the best part was crunch of almond in between. Would love to try their more dishes soon!
I guess this is the only place in town which plays the ghazals. I visited Absolut Punjab on a Saturday evening with my wife. The romantic ghazals and amazing food just made our evening.

An unbelievable experience!
The Murgh Dum Biryani and the Tandoori Murgh Kebabs were absolutely delicious. I particularly savored the kebabs, the delicate balance of the spices simply melted in the mouth. Honestly we didn’t expect but the food turned out to be so great that we would definitely visit the place again 😀
I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and I must say that the authentic taste of Punjabi is maintained. Paneer Shahi is one of my favorite dishes and parathas are perfectly cooked 😍

I ordered garlic naan, Butter naan, Lachha Paratha and Paneer Dum Makhani. Garlic naan and lachha paratha were the highlights among the breads. The garlic naan had a perfect taste of butter and garlic and the lacha parantha had perfectly cooked lachas in it. The Paneer makhani was also good and it was indeed the best paneer makhani that I have ever tasted in my life.
The place is gawdy....in the least...the glasses, the water bottles, the quirky lights....it's gawdy....and it is an experience to dine out there. Really loved the food there. The tawa veg had a crunchy taste and the Tara gosht was well done. The gravy was delicious. The icing was the dal makhani, a beautiful blend of spices and pulses. To top it all the kheer.....ummmah a beautiful aftertaste....must try for anyone. The staff took real good care of us. Suggested good items, catered to our quirks and were quick to the refills. They even babysat for us. A memorable outing. A tad bit expensive so will lookout for any discounts or offers .....just an excuse to visit the place.

Well, the name is what got me here - the ABSOLUT part was deceiving but I have no complaints with my experience here. The restaurant was spacious with big tables for groups, well lit and a friendly staff.
Now, To the more important stuff. We started with an order of the regular Masala Papad and tried the Rumali Papad for the first time - that was one BIG papad topped judiciously with masala and ghee. Tried the galoti kebabs and I swear to God, this melted in my mouth. It was soft, juicy & well flavored. For mains, we ordered our share of naan - garlic naan FTW - to accompany Kadhai Chicken flavored perfectly with coriander & other masalas. And not to forget, Dal Makhani - so rich, so dense, so good ! And for the grand finale, one big glass of chaas.
The quantity was as good as the quality of the food there. So make sure not to order too much.
Will definitely recommend this place if you're looking to dine Punjabi.

We obviously wanted to try the butter chicken at this place with little expectations, but it didn't exactly match up, not denying the fact that the preparation was good and the chicken was tender, the gravy was rich. Second came the mutton keema which was done perfectly, it wasn't minced to a paste but was coarsely done so it really had a bite to it, the flavour of the meat came through nicely.
The breads comprised of lehsuni naan which was your run of the mill naan, the roomali roti was bathing in butter, they should have an option to choose from plain or buttered, third was the pudina paratha was really well done, it was soft with lot of mint flavour coming through and it wasn't too heavy which was the best part.
Last came in the tandoori tandgi which was chicken legs stuffed with minced meat, it's decently plated and it's a meal in itself for 2 average people, the chicken was well cooked and the cross of the Keema flavour entangled well.
Overall a good dining experience, the ambience is decent and the staff was courteous, a special mention for Rakesh who hosts you really well and takes care of everything.

The ambience and decor seemed to be pretty good. The use of green and pink shades along with some beautiful hanging lights give the place a really royal look.

I have been noticing this joint from quite a few weeks.
We decided to try it out, since we have been trying to get a good Punjabi joint after Mirch Masala and Fortune Landmark.
The space provided is huge. Like, really huge.
Ambience is a combination of chandeliers and a mix of straight and circular tables. Though it was quite odd, to see lesser tables and more empty spaces. It does help not to clog the entire area.

Kadhi Pakoda - the pakodas were not upto the mark and the kadhi was extremely spicy, ruining a good memorable dish, which we have had elsewhere.
Gulab Jamun - the Jamuns were quite hard, a far cry from the softer versions available elsewhere. Melting in the mouth is what a gulab jamun is famous for.
Barring the above, all other items were superb, especially the chholey. It was good to eat great punjabi fare after a long time.
Will be back again to dig into the other curries some other time.

Place has great ambience, chandliers are so pretty , very well lit and very comfortable seating.
We arrived here around 2.15 that was almsot their closing time still service was good.
We ordered,
Masala cheese kofta- nice kofta filled with cheese and nice creamy gravy, perfect.
Veg makhanwala- routine dish perfect Punjabi flavours a must have dish.
Jeera rice and Dal fry- jeera rice was decent, Dal was awesome it was so nicely cooked exactly how Indian mother's cook in their kitchen very filling and loaded with spices.
Accompanying were butter roti and regular roti very well cooked.
For some cooler we ordered masala chaas, it was very nice great use of coriander and jeera very refreshing.
At the end of meal, we were given lemon flavoured wet tissues instead of finger bowl which was interesting.
My favourite dish was masala chaas.
Overall great place keep it up.

Well, I am a non-vegetarian married in a vegetarian family, so the menu was all veg. Next visit is be there was a non-vegetarian spread. The service is definitely not perfect. I felt the waiters were not listening to the instructions we gave about serving food because uneven servings, skipped servings happened. The food was definitely good except a couple things.
Once you're done with your meal, you get a paan shot. Don't be hesitant to taste, it's definitely nice.
I am definitely going back.
P.S. couldn't really take any pictures, because there were some distractions with us like toddlers and good food because we were really hungry.

The best place to have Punjabi food the Ambience is awesome , the taste is pure yum the aroma of the food compels you to indulge more and more the place is good for all kind of age group ,the staff service can be improved more , the food range is quite varied and the presentation and taste do go hand in hand. The lift is at the back side of the restaurant so the elderly have a little inconvenience to reach there . All other wise thumbs up to it .
