Lovely family restaurant absolutely delicious food and fast service is their plus point. A personal.fav since years now. They have a wide menu and cover most of the popular Indian Fast Food Items that includes Pav Bhaji, Paratha and Indian Chinese.
This place has been consistent in the last two years that I have been visiting them.
My favourite here is the Mushroom Fried Rice, it is spicy and flavorful love the taste absolutely. Their Pav Bhaji and Pulao is the most sought after dishes that office goers and college students swear by. Also, the Mix Veg Kulcha is a must try it is filled with Vegetables a wholesome meal for one person easily served with curd and pickle on the side. This is a very small dine in the ones everyone use to go to some 5-7 years back they have retained the same feel of the place. Everything on the menu is decently priced and the portion sizes as well as consistency in food quality and taste has been maintained since the last few years that I have eaten here.
Last night we decided to satiate our late night hunger after enjoying Garba at R.K. Centre. We ordered Jain as Well as Regular Pav Bhaji. Both were served quick and hot. Taste was excellent at great price. Service was very good. Butter Pav Bhaji was cooked well. Great blend of spices.
Butter roti is not soft it is very hard.

we all visited this place last sunday. we ordered veg hot and sour soup it was third class and when I complaied they took it back so it's fine but yes after that we ordered cheese corn sandwich , veg spring rolls , dry manchurian and sezwan noodles. sandwich was awesome and others things were also good.

Bhaji was good in taste and quantity was satisfying. So as quantity was more of bhaji, one more pau should be given complimentary.
This is an amazing place to satisfy your hunger at a very low price. The owner is always chilled out and shows great attention to every order and person even if the place is fully reserved. The chinese food here is soft tender and smooth. Paneer chilli and paneer manchurian dry are always go to food. Pineapple macaroni is amazing considering the place is made for punjabi and chinese food.
RK Center serves you very delicious food.Their pav bhaji and sandwich are really mouth watering.Staff is very responsive .The service is fast

We have taken bhajipav platter as we have heard about it first time and I think no other restaurants offering such cuisine.
Service : serving time at least 15 minutes after order.
Staff : kind and polite.
Bhajipav platter ***** must eat : it's very nice and suitable for a single person to fill the hunger. This platter contains bhaji--pav, veg pulao, special catany, salad, sweet (gulab jamun), papad and Buttermilk. Food quantity was quite good for one person at cost of Rs 125/-- only.
Bhajipav : Bhajipav was really good and it also tummy filler for one person.
Food taste : Like bhajipav platter very much. Bhajipav was also good one. We'll all the food was as per our requirement of taste. Well cooked and well served food.

It was 11 at night and my best friend had a lust for Pav Bhaji. It was quickly understood after some browsing that no one at the 11th hour would agree to serve the dish this late, until R.K.Centre confirmed our appetite. The customisation of extra Pavs and the must try lesun chutney was bliss in the scroching 42Β° summer night. The delivery man had to be annoyingly guided time and again but the wait was worthwhile indeed. The quantity was suffice and served the duet bang on. No complaints with the right side of the menu but maybe hygiene needs to be checked before ordering something from there again.
I tasted pav bhaji here. It's good and it is a reasonably priced restaurant.
I will be going here again to try other items but you must try the pav bhaji here.
There is one thing that is difficult to come by in this food-obsessed town of Ahmedabad is a place that serves decent Pav-bhaji. This is where RK comes jn and saves the day of a Mumbaikar soul craving Pav-bhaaji and Tawa pulao.
This is a fairly reasonable place and has a good menu with some interesting sandwiches. The combo meal option is good.
The ambience isn't all that great but is usually clean.

I used to live nearby this restaurant and had visited this place many times.
They served common fast food / platters which amdavadis love to eat on any regular day.
I assure one can like the taste of their food varieties, whether it is a Pav-Bhaji / Pulaav Or Sandwich / Pizza; whether it is Dosa / Utappam Or Chinese / Punjabi.
I'd tasted most of their food preparations. From all of the preparations, I most like the taste of Butter Pav-Bhaji, Italian Pizza, RK special Cheese Chilli Toast, Jumbo grilled & Hi-Corn Sandwiches.
Nowadays, they've started Combo Platters also, which I'll have to try once in coming days.
I recommend to try this place once if u like fast food kind of stuffs & passing by this place...

Have been visiting the place since college days and have seen it improving year after year. The place offers almost everything on its menu card and will surely not disappoint you with the taste. Though there is nothing much to offer in terms of ambience and hygiene all that you wanna visit the place is for some tasty reasonable midnight cravings. Small food place and nothing great bout interior but I loved the food especially my fav bhaji pav. Tasted their RK special tag and it was mouth watering. We had instructed them to make it spicy and its was chilly hot. We couldnt stop ourselves from eating less of bhaji even as our eyes n noses starring running and our tongue starting asking us to stop. Nothing very good but everything falls in place for such a mediocre restaurant with theur lovely food. Btw the way, we also tried their hakka noodles n grilled sandwiches. Nothing was there to complain bout.
Good place to hangout with friend at late night. Always great for bhajipav and cheese garlic breads. U can also try chinese and sandwich here. If you want to go for combo then go for bhajipav platter. Good taste and quality.

Can't go wrong with the tried and tested formula of a pav bhaji place. Easily one of the better pav bhaji available near university area. Been going to this place since the 90s. The restaurant has gone through many changes both interms of the menu and interior of the restaurant. However one thing has remained the same and that is the taste of its pav bhaji.
Best place for anytime hunger pangs..!! There are so many verities in fast food that one gets confuse what to order. As I was not so hungry, I ended up ordering masala dosa. But it was so crispy and delicious that I did not missed sankalp's dosa. Just one minus point is not so cool sitting area.

the food here is absolutely divine if u believe in that sort of an exaggeration but yes that is true for me and my friends because:
1. it is pocket friendly
2. service and ambience are gud.
3. orders come on quicker when compared to others.
4. open until 1 in the night.

They still make awesome vada pavs. It's something that's classic at vijay cross roads. Been visiting the place since many years and the taste is still the same and nice. Tastes better in butter and I like it medium spicy. Fried garlic chutney is mind blowing. Better than a Bombay dry vada pAu. This ones Tawa fried. :)

A place wich serves the best vada pav in town. Even their 'beans on toast' is my all time favourite.
Have been visiting this place since a decade now. And nothing has changed. The quality of vada-pav is still d same. They have expanded their menu for good. Now they happen to serve decent pizza, baked dish and chinese as well.

R.K. Centre has slowly and steadily been gaining some popularity because of its food. At first, they used to serve only Pav Bhaji and Pulav but now, they're welcoming delicacies from other cuisines too. I'd like to let you know that i only visit R.K. Centre once a year, not more than that. I see in many reviews that the so called 'foodies' here have questioned the restaurants size. Let me tell you something, the sign of a good restaurant is not it's size, its the quality of the food and sometimes the quantity. The way the staff treat you when you place an order also counts.
The restaurant is situated at Vijay Cross Roads, It doesn't serve any alcoholic beverages (DUH!) or Non Vegetarian food. It doesn't even take reservations. It's a very simple and elegant food joint.
The food for me was beyond imagination. One thing which really pissed me off was the family sitting next to me, they had ordered some stupid sandwich or something. Why that pissed me off? You're at the goddamn R.K. Centre which is very well known for it's Pav Bhaji. Its like getting a chocolate chip ice cream and letting it melt because you wanted to have a chocolate milk shake. I just have one complaint about the restaurant, They have steel glasses to offer the customers. I don't mind drinking water in steel glasses, everybody does it at home. but the staff needs to make sure that
the glasses are clean. If the food is hygienic and ready to serve hot then why isn't its glasses clean?
All in all it was a good and vital experience for me at the R.K.Centre . i hope you'll like the food too!

Filling, good food with quick service at pocket-friendly cost summarizes the eating experience at RK. An eatery which has been here for eons, RK is as much of a landmark as Vijay cross-roads. Under renovation but open , I went to RK with some friends for dinner to beat Monday blues. This is how it helps - First, it spares you from breaking your head on where to go. Secondly, it's as reliable as ever. And most importantly, I get the feeling of being at a familiar place. Famous for its pav bhaji and pulav, RK serves good (Indianized yet good to taste) Chinese food as well. It is not disturbingly oily. RK is a suitable option even for mid-meals with their sandwiches and toasts.
Bhaji pav and pulav at RK are the best among their offerings - well spiced with a made-at-home taste. While localites who regularly get to eat home-made food may not see value in 'made-at-home taste in restaurant food', a lot of other people really seek for it. Any Chinese item that you order would have either of the two distinct tastes - Manchurian or Schezwan. The third one is garlic-ky. Any noodles or rice would taste close to either of the two. Among the very-budget eateries (not including the road-side stalls) serving Chinese, RK serves the best and the most consistent taste. And now about the must-have at RK. Its the cheese chilly toast. If you don't believe that there can be anything must-have about something as regular as this, you are mistaken. Cheese chilly toast at RK is unparallelled; best not just among eateries in this league but also one of the best ever. It is a spread of diligently-chopped green chillies in cheese-melt on an height-wise over-sized toast. Unique, crispy and delicious! Cheese chilly toast at RK is strictly must-have. Its been like this for over years, atleast all the time (which is not less than 6-7 years) since I have been going here. Overall, food from sandwiches to soups to noodles, rice and pav bhaji is decently made and filling.
The ambience is in transition currently (the joint being under renovation) so I can't write about it. The service is brisk. The always-smiling owner would flash a warm welcome expression as you make yourself comfortable here and keeps ensuring that each table is getting attention from some staff. RK is a budget eatery and high on value-for-money.
There are many a joints where I have been regular for a few years and then lose touch (under some or the other circumstance) for a long while only going back in reminiscence mode. But RK for me has never been 'not-gone-here-for-long'.

RK on Vijay Charrasta, it is difficult to miss coz of the number of people hanging around.
It is a small restaurant with very little space to sit inside, not to worry if u r a regular or just simply pretty late at night, u r comfortable accomodated outside the shops that have by then shut or if convenience permits even on the road outside there are tables and chairs. Best u can eat in the comfort of ur car too.
The louder u can call out, the faster the service. It is quick, accurate, polite and simple the best restaurants can be put to shame.
It has a lot of variety to offer, typical street food flavour and absolutely delicious. I have eaten here at many occassions and a lot of varied food so this is a combined review. If u like Indianised chinese then dont look too far my friend. Bhajipav and pulav are world famous atleast in navrangpura. Dont miss the masala cheese sandwich and the chutney sandwich.
If u r out somewhere nearby, feel like packing smthng or eating indianised versions of food, do go to RK. Not for the posh though.

Dad used to take me to this place right from the time I had started relishing pav bhaji and pulao. On one such occassion he told me about the growth of this place and how even he had been a big fan of their food.
We then started ordering even their pizzas which we do relish. Many times we would pack take aways to be enjoyed at home with friends and family.
Even now whenever I pass by this place, I remember my first visit to the place with dad and thank him for introducing me to RK Centre

Well known place for their Pav bhaji, Sandwich and dosa. Located on the main road and remains crowded on weekends and dinner times. Their service is good and fast. Menu has lots of options to choose from.I have tried their pav bhaji and It tastes very good. Pricing wise their are little bit on a premium side.

One of the oldest place serving amazing food. I love their Panner Bhurji and Butter Roti. Their Chinese, Bhav Bhaji & Dosa are also very good.

Visited this place today for their speciality item Butter Bhajipav.We ordered both oil Bhajipav and butter pavbhaji.Oil Bhajipav was spicy and tasted good but i liked butter pavbhaji very much.It was yummi.Those who love spicy Bhajipav should definitely visit this place. Butter pavbhaji was delicious.One has to inform that whether he/she wants a less spicy.It has good seating area. Tables were neat and clean.Staff was co-operative. Being on main road, parking of vehicles is a big problem.Rest are okay.I recommend to visit this place for butter pavbhaji.
I have visited this place based on one of my fds suggestion. I am very fond of Pao-bhaji. Let me come to the point. The quality and quantity of butter Pap-bhaji was really good. Taste was perfect. I had taste Panner chilli too. It was too yummy. One more thing I eat hot N sour soup and it was really really nice with mushroom. I will definitely go just for to eat soup. The location was also at good place. Staff members were polite. This place was neat and clean too.
