It's a second outlet of know name of Maninagar, Rasna. In terms of taste and cost mostly same as old one. Any pick from Paneer for main course is exquisite. Kaju khoya here is personal favorite of me and my siblings. For Family it is always the pick.

A good restaurant with small space, seating is only for 25 to 30 people but if you believe in quality you must try it. Good food, no noice , good service and only quality people will visit it. At my visit time i have seen some foreigner as well, if you visiting it first time might be u will run away with lift but must try.
Visited this place for family dinner. Ambiance is simple but good with great silence. Ordered Veg. Crispy was awesome as it was well cooked with proper ingredients. Chees naan was too good along with paneer tikka masala.

Yet again… ! I came back from Hyderabad and first thing I did was eat here, it was about a month ago. And today i ordered it for home.
When I went there to dine-in, we were like 20 people and the owner (Raj Mohan Modi) gave us nice spacious sitting area to begin with. Anyone of you who went in big groups know that ordering food is pain in the bottom. However we did not feel that, coz the waiter came personally and attended to each and everyone’s individual requests. Very nice and professional. And food came right in 20 mins… Bingo ! It would take a whole page for me to write all the things that we ordered, but…
First things first… ‘Subziyon Ki Numaish’ was beautiful and deliciously yummy. I may be biased because I usually do not prefer vegetarian dishes when i dine out, but my goodness, if this is what vegetarian dish can taste, I love it ! You have to taste it to know what I mean. Other dishes were all fine, specially Ginger Basil fried Rice, Cheese Fondue and surprisingly Caesar’s Salad deserves a special mention too.
I personally prefer Butter Naan soft and thin, which I have yet to find in Ahmedabad, but I guess that’s just me. I wouldn’t lie by saying the price is cheap, but it seems definitely value for money. Only suggestion one could give them is probably to increase portion sizes by 25% or so. Parking in the basement is probably tricky if you have a big sedan, so be careful. You ll notice countless scratch marks on the wall made by the driver’s right sided guard. LOL
In all, I had a great time then and awesome meal today from takeaway. Thumbs up to RajMohan Modi and his team to maintain quality in Ahmedabad for more than 30 years. Very few restaurants can boast that today in Ahmedabad. And I recently heard Divya Bhasker awarding them with a prize, congz… !
Visited last evening in the heavy rain and this place as always didnt disappoint me. A decent place for a peaceful dinner..! Good place for a family time. Ambience is nice and service is quite good. 4. Service was good. Turnaround time of serving was pretty reasonable.

A really good option for a peaceful dinner. The food quality is fine. The service is quick. Also the ambience is good. It has a variety in its menu, which includes Indian, Mexican, Thai. The only problem seems to be the quantity. The quantity of your ordered dish might be the only disappointing thing. But the quality of the food is satisfying.

I ordered Mexican tortilla and Mexican chilly bean soup and the taste n thickness was up to the mark and they give u decent quantity so no complain abt this. Then my sizzler choice is ""Chinese town"" which is spicy n mouthwatering😂..n guys the most amazing dish that u should try is ""rasna Anarkali"" with ""onion kulcha"" which is in the main course section.. the presentation of ""rasna Anarkali"" is wonderful...The double tadka dal was also impressive..The reason that I don't give 5* is that bcz the main course was so spicy which is not going favourable..so if u r looking for the restaurant in maninagar wr food is yr priority then u sud definitely visit this place once.

Rasna two has mix reviews and it was on my wishlist since long time,today I got chance to have dinner there , ambience is superb and as per review we decided to go for sizzler ,maxican and Punjabi food, we tried their hara bhara kabab in starter , paneer sizzler and khoya kaju and paneer tawa Subji , starter and sizzler was good but the portion size was too less compared to price, same thing happened with Subji , quantity is too less as per price, also tried their maxican rice with salsa curry , taste wise it was awesome but portion size is not satisfactory, little bit overpriced too . So for change of taste buds one visit is worth. Service is very very very slow, so keep that thing in mind. If you don't have extra time pls avoid this food joint. They are taking much more time to serve. Due to battery drain in phone ,missed photo clicks of items, appologies for that, That's all foodies take care, cheers !!!.

One of my favourite family restaurant. I have visited this place many times. Rasna two is new branch of Rasna Restaurant. It is one of oldest restaurant in maninagar. Here I celebrated many of my birthdays with my family. Many earliest memories of my father associated with old Rasna. They provide quality food. They serve good Punjabi food and my favourite sabji - Special ransa anarkali.
One of the best and oldest food places in maninagar.Broncoli almond soup,schezwan paneer chilly and cheese beans nachos were great as starters.Penne pasta and biryani were too good.
ONE OF FINEST RESTAURANT TO HAVE PUNJABI FOOD IN MANINAGAR. THEY ALSO HAVE MEXICAN N ITALIAN DISHES. THEY OFFER GOOD VARIETY OF STARTERS, ONE OF MY FAV IS SPRING ROLLS, I NEVER HAD THAT CRISP SPRING ROLLS WITH PERFECT TASTE. IN MAIN COURSE PANEER PREPARATIONS ARE GOOD. This authentic restaurant is located right in the heart of Maninagar. This reminiscent restaurant has smart decor and really carries the legacy which Rasna has created in our hearts. The staff is very friendly and even the kind owner is there at your service. This place is run by a man who is very passionate and who wants everyone to enjoy great food. Dont forget to share your experience or have a conversation with him. Very humble man who loves to listen, talk and share.
What to say about food, order italian or mexican or any other cuisine, food is excellent, prefectly prepared, well-served including spicy punjabi curries and starters. I gotta mention one particular dish which is easily available everywhere but perfected by very few, its their CHEESE NAAN. What a taste, the best one I ever had.
Prices are in line and not at all heavy on pocket. My new favorite place in town. Will definitely recommend you all to try this one out!!! Great & I mean great food.
This is one of the place where I have had the best taste of pulav prepared in coconut milk. The most delicious dish we have relished. This is all thanks to the reviews mentioned on Internet, including Zomato. After reading them, we visited the place and simply loved it. We have been trying to make it point to have at least one lunch or dinner at Rasna 2 every time we visit Ahmedabad.

A place owned by an Old friends Father. But it was not the reason to Visit it. It was an Idea to have a Lavish like Dinner in Maninagar. And the 1st thing that came to mind was Rasna 2. As Rasna carries a pretty consistent reputation in Maninagar same was expected of Rasna 2. But i guess it stood a level further to my expectation. Beautiful Elegant ambience with almost everything perfect (As Have Rajmohan Uncle a Sheer Perfectionist) Which was reflected in place.
My friend and I enter here and meet Uncle in corridor after some chit chat he lead us to the Restaurant and asks us to choose a place we do. Settle. Look around the ambience like Rasna beautiful paintings on cream shaded walls with white Cloth covered tables a glass to our left which reflects the cash counter to our right beside a wash area. And Nicely carved glass partition with a beautiful yet simple Pop Lightnings. And small beautiful cup filled with marigold petals floating on water.
After settling and reading the 1st page of Menu (pic attached) we scroll down the Menu. After sacrificing(small tummy) convincing(lalchi mann) and discussion (with a friendly waiter) We came a conclusion to choose on a Lichee Cooler, Masala Papad, Waldorf Salad, Mexican Sizzler. ... Although we were suggested many things but as we were just 2 People we chose to be committed to our limited course (thinking of ordering later if Tummy calls for More).
So here comes our 1st Order Lichee Cooler which had a consistency of a thick shake with the tinge of Sprite i.e. soda taste and froth on top. Followed by Masala Papad which was bit low on spices but still nice. Didnt get soggy although we had it very slowly. Followed by Waldorf (Pic attached) I guess after Avalon this is the only place where i really liked Waldorf Salad. Real Good.

Rasna has been an all time favourite for punjabi food in Maninagar, especially for take aways. So when Rasna opened an outlet RASNA TWO right near our home we were super excited, more because it was like a 'New and Improved' version of Rasna. Menu here included continental and Mexican, Thai.
Went there for a famly dinner. Somehow, I wasn't too hungry so I decided I would nibble into whatever Hubby-dearest and family orders. The Starter Platter tasted very good, not overloaded with flour or spices, the portion size was a let down. We ordered nachos, Mexican Salsa curry with rice. Both were quite good. Mom-in-law for the first time in her lifetime ate such food (in honour of my birthday). Like most places, Phad Thai Noodles is just printed in the menu but never available. Ordered some more food, but don't remember much about them.
The mexican dish had a lot of spice, a little more than expected in a mexican food. The service was too slow for our table. And they came to change our plates just when one dish was left for us to eat. There was no point in changing the plates now.
All-in-all, apart from service, we enjoyed the experience at Rasna Two. Look forward to many more visits.

Excellent! We had our baby shower function hosted at Rasna Banquet, and it turned out to be an ideal place. Fresh and delicious food, service and behaviour of the staff was very polite and helpful.
Rates are reasonable enough, however the quality of food is way superior in comparison.
Highly recommended in case you are looking to host any family function!

No complaints except the food is served in melamine plates - it is better to serve in crockery plates in such restaurant.
Rasna Two is a multi cuisine restaurant. Interior of the restaurant is average. Seating capacity is also medium so you may find waiting in weekends. I have ordered Masala papad, Manchow soup, backed macaroni with pineapple, veg. Kolhapuri, Naan. Overall taste of each cuisine or food was nice. Veg. Kolhapuri subji was nice. We have ordered it less oily and made it accordingly. I have one suggestions for ambiance. They must add something to make ambiance and interior more lively.

The legendary taste of old Rasna is yet to be achieved but still you can visit with your family and friends. The staff is quite nice but still service needs minute changes. This restaurant is have a different taste varieties other than PANJABI.who are ready to eat choices new type of food must visit once a while, because the price level of almost all items is quite high, but against varieties one may visit. Quality nice and feel good tastes of difference.

I went to Rasna2 on 15 March. I was on family visit. It was my last day in Ahmedabad. I wanted to have a sumptuous lunch with my wife to make that day memorable. One guy from Titan Eye Plus suggested me this restaurant. Believe me, it was a great experience. I ordered their special Sizzlers. It was heavenly. I had Sizzlers before in Mumbai. But Rasna2 experience was better than all. I strongly recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately I couldn't try another dishes. But I will visit this place again . . . From Mumbai with love
