I’ve been to the other Ellis bridge branch of swati and to their outlet in mumbai, the taste is the same across all outlets !
It’s the best place to sample all the Gujarati snacks in a nice hygienic setting.
The service is always and the food super fresh !
Must try the Panki, khichu, Chaat and juices.
The indian-ish pizza blew my mind 😍 ( it had bajra as the base)

It is second branch of famous swati snacks. We visited for lunch on Sunday. It was fully occupied. We had famous "sherdi no ras", "sev dahi puri", "dhan shak- bhat", "satpadi roti". You can trust this place for its hygiene. All the dishes were tasty and authentic.

The best thing about eating here is no Burping & Acidity after an hour , which qualifies the quality of the food itself.
We love everything about Swati- food, quick service, quality, quantity!!! Must have? One should try everything honestly here! Dosas/ pav bhaji/ maharastrian cuisini/ dhokla/ sev puri n bhel- everything tastes too good- authentic food is served here!! Even cold coffee is really good over here!! Our fav snack is vada pav n sev puri here! We love thalipith pitla a lot as well with dhanshak! Loved this new outlet with so much space/ seating capacity!!

I've been visiting Swati ever since I was a kid. It has maintained its quality over the years. The only problem of the Ellis Bridge branch is the waiting time. The new outlet has opened up on the Bopal-Ambli road and has plenty of space for sitting.
Ambience- It is nice and lit up. The seating is also good.
Service- It is really quick and the staff is very courteous. We had an elderly person with us and it was kind of them to provide a wheelchair. 👍
Food- This part never really goes wrong here!!
Tried-
Panki Chatni- So, this is their specialty found only at swati. Its steamed in banana leaves and served hot with their delicious green chutney. Must try! (5/5)
Ragda Pattice- To be very frank, I've never liked Ragda Pattice much at any place but this was simply amazing! 😍. Must try! (5/5)
Bajri Khichu- A Gujarati specialty. It's served hot with methiya no masalo. It is really good! (4.5/5)
Thalipeeth-Pitla- Thalipeeth is a traditional Marathi dish, much similar to our Gujarati theplas. Pitla is Maharashtrian Besan curry. Both of them were amazing. Must try(5/5)
Mung Khichdi- Served with Bataka nu shak, a must try for all the Khichdi lovers. (4/5)
Pav Bhaji- It has a proper Mumbaiya-style bhaji. Very flavourful and one of my favourites. (5/5)
Handvo- The handvo was a little dry but the mango chutney with it was awesome. So, wasn't very bad

Rava Dosa- Dosas are good over here but the sambhar needs improvement. (3/5)
Overall, their traditional dishes are droolworthy and a must try but the pricing is of course, on the higher side.

I think this place needs no reviews!! It's one of the best places of Ahmedabad with tons of variety. Their vada pav is to die for!! Most of the food items are sold out by late evening, so try to visit during the day. Loved the food, must try!

Our first visit to Ahmedabad, apart from the famous eateries where gujarati thali served, we were recommended by few of our friends to visit Swati snacks. Must say it's more than worth a visit. We had our lunch there and couldn't resist to come and have our dinner the same night. Panki chatni- we heard and had for the first time. It was more than delicious. Tasted awesome.
We also had chola Methi Dhokla which was served hot along with Kadhi and green chutney. Would say out of the world
Bajri Khichdi was outstanding along with Kadhi. We also tried bajra uttapam, sukhdi,and their special in house guava ice cream.
What stands out most in this restaurant is the service and hospitality each of the person provide with a smile. Since we are not localities, manager Praveen explained us what we must try there and we are truly impressed with both the awesome service and the quality food... a must visit restaurant in Ahmedabad... request Asha and Karan to open a branch in bangalore soon :)

Best family restaurant for munching delicious gujarati snacks. I felt really satisfied as swati snacks opened its new branch in bopal ambli road. Do try their panki chutney it was so so so good. Another good thing is that its also good for people having physical disability. They have their own wheelchairs to help them. The service is also quick! Impressed as always.
Overall food is good, but the quantity is very less.
Here, Dhaan shaak and rice are available but not in authentic style . So don't try it.

Visited Swati snacks after many years and landed at this new branch. Even at 10 PM, it was fairly crowded. However unlike previous branches, it has got large seating space and very well maintained. As usual the service level was excellent. And needless to say that the food quality remains to have the unique taste. A must visit place for veg food lovers.

Tried their Chola Methi Dhokla....and it was just superb.Such soft and spongy dhoklas I've never eaten before this and specially mention about kadhi served with dhokla was exterme fresh and tasted great.
Their dahi batata puri was awesome tooo garnished with some sprouts instead of sev..

I have listened about this famous snack restaurant from many YouTube videos and people.so i have visited this. They have two branch in Ahmedabad law garden and on ambli sg highway The food is very good quality and hygienic. The staff is well trained and co-operative. I have shared some pictures that I have tried i forgot to take some dishes picture because I was busy in delicious yummy food 😋. I have tried so many dishes i liked all dishes not even one dish we can say it is ohk all the dishes have different taste and unique way of presentation. You can visit atleast once to try out the traditional food of Gujarati snacks in different styles and different tastes. All the dishes have something different taste from common normal food is served generally so i suggest try atleast once. In drink I tried coconut punch it was very different. And sugarcane juice is also good I have tasted dhanshak bhat this dish is have rice and parsi dal with deep onion combination never seen before bt good in taste and I have taken makai khichu that was also good served with red chilli chutney and I also try dahi batata Puri its unique way is that it is served with sprouted pulses in it that I have never seen before and I have also try thalipeeth-pitla that have bottle gaurd Paratha served with fried besan and green chutney and fried green chillies I have also tried dhokla that have green colour don't know with what ingredients it was made bt it is awesome taste and garnished with coconut on its served with green chutney,fried green chillies and hot kadhi now it's most unique dishes is panki chutney that have thin layered of dhokla I guess not sure about it that is on banana leaf we have to roll it out and have with green chutney and fried green chillies have tried simple dosa that also served with unique presentation with sambhar and chutney i have also tried panipuri that have comes with sweet chutney and regular panipuri water with some chopped potatoes and sprouted mung and black chickpeas and in sweet i have tried shukdi it was yum hot served and very tasty. and at last in dessert icecream i have tried three flavour lemon grass, mango, coffee. The icecream is also have a different taste yet i have tried till now the lemon grass have taste of mint Tulsi lemon n all and coffee one was also good and all my colleagues liked mango too much that have pieces of mango n very yummy. I have visited this at dinner time and if you want good food and willing to pay higher price then you should go for it and if you compare with normal then you feel it is very costly. So at last if you are taking price in mind then you will not prefer to go next time bt if you are a food lover or having some good food or authentic dishes you will definitely.
This place is on my bucket list since long. Every dish tastes amazing which I ordered. Price is little high but it’s worthy.
