As the introduction page of the menu suggests " Darshan " means auspicious sight , it's good sight for foodies that a restaurant has turned up where Chef Sanjeev Kapoor 's chain restaurant with sone fine food existed . Of course how location legacy will be continued is different thing.
The place is having decent ambience , almost same interior gives good casual dining feel.
Menu is having good options to choose from covering North Indian, Chinese,Mexican ,Continental food. We ordered fix menu lunch with -
Cream of Tomato soup - Good taste .
Broccoli Cheddar Cheese soup - Perfectly made with balance of cheddar cheese flavour.
Mexican tikki with salsa sauce - nothing special about Mexican taste , can be called potato-rajma balls without seasoning.
Veg. Crispy - Good taste.
Paneer Tikka lababdar - Rich red greavy , nice taste.
Subz e tawa mehfil - Well made , crunch of vegetable was intact , tawa flavour can easily be identified.
Dal , rice , salad , butter milk , Indian breads- good.
Dessert- Gulab Jamun and ice cream- nothing extra ordinary in taste or presentation.
Service was average and too slow, though not having too much occupied .
While the food and ambience was good , especially the veg. , service has been poor. Can be tried once for menu with sone different varieties.
