Riverside is a restaurant which is located at bit outer part of the city an 20 mins ride from Acropolis PVR but a worth visit. It has 2 restaurants the indoor seating is for Indian food and the outer seating is for Mexican, Thai, Italian restaurant. The Indian food is the best when it comes to quality and Even the pricing is reasonable compared to this level of quality and taste. We ordered Dalmakhani which was just perfect balance of salt, pepper and all the spicy, one must choose it over Dal tadka and the soup we ordered was hot and sour..... which was really spicy but enjoyed the taste as we love spicy food. Than we ordered bhindi too which tasted like ordinary bhindi not that extraordinary but Dal makhani was really amazing. The only problem was we wanted to order pasta for our starters which the restaurant of the outer place has in the menu but that can't be ordered if u are dine in indoor for Indian food. So that was the problem for me as I m a pasta lover and couldn't order there due to there policy
It's a great place to go, With family or with your partner. Restaurant has a lawn with candlelight dinner option. As well it has indoor place with nice ambience. Food is really tasty and delicious. The service is also good. The cost is a bit higher than other restaurants. Overall enjoyed the food. Thanks :)

The waterside punjabi restaurant. Sitting is normal here not as good as open sitting but food taste good. Punjabi food is really good here but dining fun will be lost here.
In outskirts of Ahmedabad a beautiful place besides the canal, love the ambience. I went on Sunday evening n found an hour waiting but that waiting was very enjoyable in chilling winter night they have arranged fire at the centre of the waiting circle. The melodious live music, candle light dinner is perfect idea of pamper ur taste buds n mind as well.
We ordered Roman garlic cheese toast, Manchu soup n paneer sizzler.sizzler does not taste that great but soup n starter was delicious....all over a very good experience.
Had been here twice. Food is delicious here. Little bit pricey but decent food. Beautiful ambiance bcoz of its location. Service is also good. Overall good option for hangouts with friends & family.

Really liked the place though....food is really good compare to what i had in mind, not so spicy, and the kind u expect from street food, but good enough to be there at least once in a while.
I won't say this is one of the finest restaurants in Ahmedabad but yes it's location, along the canal, out of the city, was one of the main attraction. Getting out of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Enjoyed my first date with my fiancΓ©. Such a nice place for couple. Candle light dinner with live music is one of famous theme of this restaurant.
One of favourite hang out place to watch sun go down near Narmada Canal and quick snacks bite. Budget friendly. Food taste good.

This is another restaurant of waterside only for punjabi cuisine. Its not that pretty as piperade. Its average restaurant. Food is ok. And not so good part is washroom. Its very stinky.

Staff needs training including Managers. They are so ignorant & have to call them 4-5 times even for the water to be get served.
I had ordered for the extra Rotis & after wating for 10 mins waiter replied that he forgot the order.
Also there is no properly lit signage on the road for the turn towards Hotel. If someone misses than he has to go 4+4 kms for the u-turn.

Firefly , located at The Waterside was on my list from quite some time. Though it being only a Veg restaurant, i was less interested. Got a chance to visit it few days back and now i am really glad that i did.
I generally never give high ratings except for a few exceptions. The main reason behind me giving this rating is solely based on food and service.
The manager greets you with a smile and notes down the number of members in your party. Upon entering you notice the glas fountain directly opposed to the door and a orange and yellowish hue all around the restaurant with a few maple leaves designs on the walls lit with lights. So overall the place looks decent.
Waiters are friendly, and give a quick response when called. For starters we ordered the Orange Sunrise mocktails in terms of drinks, which were surprisingly really good. And then ordered the Fire Platter and Baked Pineapple macaroni. Trust me, you should always order Fire Platter. It was filled with 7-8 varities of starters like Panner Tikka, hara bhara kebab, etc etc. And the quantity was so much that 4 ppl can easily eat it, despite having an average price tag. We were suprised and happy. Also the baked macarpni was too good. And so was the dinner which we had pretty less due to our stomachs already being full from the starters.
The only complaint that i had was from the Dessert section. We ordered kesar pista kulfi(or smthing) and they brought us the Havmor one, which costs 40 bucks in Havmor but they charged 120 bucks for the same. They should have provided their own version of dessert instead of giving us an Havmor ice cream.
Apart from the dessert thing, every other thing was pretty good, and they deserve an rating of 4.5 from my end.
Bill value was in Budget, and finally we left satisfied. Highly recommended for Veg lovers, however dont forget to order the Fire Platter.

Writing this review from the restaurant itself. U hv to be very cautious before eating food & check for the insects. Received a baby cockroach complimentary with soup. The cucumber on masala papad was very bitter. This is just the begining. I still have to go for some more hicups when my main course arrives. The staff has nothing but a simple sorry to offer for above things. Will write more after having main course........ compulsory hv to give 1 star as without which cannot proceed to post comments. Now the 2nd part is better. Manager Mr. Rupesh after noticing my earlier part of review had taken the charge and was personally monitoring the service. Main course was very good. Food was good as my previous visits to this place. Due to earlier incidence we were offered complimentary desert which was good. For that we wud like to thank Mr. Rupesh Nair. Overall rating now stands increased bcoz of coutesy of Mr. Nair and also good food in main course.

Actually my team members introduced to place and we all went there. Its obvious it was rush due to Christmas time.
At first site the place and the atmosphere was aw-sum 5/5 on that. Next we didn't got seat outside i.e. for Mexican Food Special but no luck.
Next we went to inside restaurant i.e. the Fire Fly and we ordered an normal Punjabi Menu but must say it had a good taste. In Fact i would say i did give 4/5 for the Food Quality there. Still waiting to taste its Mexican food if i get lucky ...

The place is precious for couples and candle light dinner.
We tried hot and sour , manchaow and sour lite soup. In starter we have dragon ball which is stuffed with veggies and cheese which are tasty. Baked pinneapple macroni was also good.
In main course we tried cheese butter masala (cheesy), panner lawabdar (ok ok) , butter roti and garlic naan.
Jeera rice and dal fry was yum and we also tried steam rice and thai curry.
Last one is masala buttermilk.
Overall experience is good. Price are little bit high but worth for place and quality of food.

Food quality is good. Ample parking and seating space. Indoor and outdoor dining areas. Outdoor dining space opens after 7:00 pm. Scenic views of the Narmada Canal combined with beautiful gardens gives you a serene dining experience.
The quality of food was good and the quantity was a lot. The prices are a bit higher than other restaurants but you'll get what you paid for. I've attached some photos of the taco and the sizzler I ordered. Also I've attached a video of the special preparations they do for couples (though it wasn't for me).
The menu offers a wide variety of items, from seafood to sandwiches and more. I opted for the grilled salmon and it was cooked to perfection. The vegetable side dish was also delicious, and the portion size was generous. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive, making sure that our drinks were full and our food came out quickly
The location of this place is very beautiful .. it's on the sideways of a canal and during monsoon it's even more beautiful. Before covid it used to have an upper deck overseeing the canal and an ac restaurant on the ground floor. The food is decent and has limited variety and is a pure vegetarian restaurant. As you walk in,there is a sanitization frame and there is social distancing in place.
It's a place where you enjoy the natural view and food together away for the urban city setting.
