Good food, comfortable seating. Menu has lot of choices from pizzas to pastas to salads and wide variety of drinks to choose from. Being a bhindi lover I went for a pasta with okra and Turkish hummus pizza . Both were yum and bill won’t put a hole in your pocket as it’s reasonably priced . I will visit again very soon .

Awesome food! Loved the risotto and gnocchi. They can improve on dessert but a truly authentic experience you get there. Happy with service as well.
I was waiting anxiously to visit this place and my chance came on my birthday...so I went on a lunch date with my hubby ..we were really curious as to what this place might offer...since navratri is going on, we couldn't binge on non veg food...so we had to go for veg food only...we were lil skeptical regarding veg food but to our surprise, we got to eat such fabulous pizzas specially the Greek artichoke pizza!!! We had ravioli, and Greek feta pizza which were amazing!!! I had coffee too but didn't like it that much as it wasn't hot enough... but the food was Filled with lots of flavours!! Had a gala time..the only point I am deducting is because of the unbearable heat due to non cooling of the ac. Guess it wasn't working properly...on the whole it's a Fab place...would love to visit again n try the non veg delicacies too!!
Liked the items I tried and they tasted! Spanish paieya and the calamari tasted well, as desired. The deserts were cool. I'll recommend to this who've tasted it in Europe.
I chanced upon this place on Zomato accidentally . This place is your one stop destination for authentic European cuisine . Our group had ordered Hungarian Potatoes , French Garlic Pizza, Greek Artichoke Pizza , Architoke Fetuccine and Spanish Paella rice ( I don’t remember the full names , apologies ) . The food was prepared in a very authentic manner . What i must point out is that the entire kitchen is open , so the hygiene levels are 100/100. To all diners I would say , please come with an open mind . Don’t bring your pre conceived notions about how your food should taste ,because such food is normally available in the artsy cafes of any European city ! Bon apetite !

I happened to stumble upon this hidden gem on Zomato earlier today! So my friend and I decided to give it a shot! Lo and behold.. we now have a new addition to our list of favourite hangout places!
Here are a few reasons why I absolutely loved the place..
1. Amazing food!
I'm lost for words to describe the food. Simply put, it is just done right. The food we had ordered was just delicious. Looking at the menu, you might for a moment, feel that the restaurant is trying too hard, but believe me, once you have a bite you're definitely going to change your mind. They seem to know what they're doing.
Lamb Pot Pies are a must try even without checking the menu!!!
2. Awesome staff!
The staff members waiting on us, were friendly, supportive and made sure that they informed us about the portions and the content of each dish. For once, in an establishment, it seemed like every staff member we met actually liked working there and genuinely wanted to ensure that the patrons had a nice dining experience.
3. Good Ambience- Overall the ambience is pleasant! It's a pretty lit place (literally)!
I had a superb experience and I would definitely go here, over and over again! Well done Team The European! :)

A decent fare with minimalistic decor and blandish European taste. i think it has its own fan following (not in ahmedabad though, where bland is bad :) ). loved the food. ordered Italian Porcini mushroom risotto (in menu it was misspelt pocini) and it was very nicely cooked with the mushroom's earthiness coming out in the flavour very nicely. the letdown was polenta chips which was fairly large chunks of polenta bars and very subtle tasting but portion was big to finish as the excitement in flavours were missing. The Spanish salt and pepper calamari was cooked to perfection and no chewiness or undercooked flavours. served on bed of salad and burnt/pickled lemon , it was mouthfull. Desserts were good and specially the pannacotta. The crumble added the savouriness. chocolate garden was ok. the show stealer was the side dish - rosemary potatoes. just beautiful flavours coming out. pizza was fairly decent too- the chorizo one. i think we would go there again to try few other dishes. I hope it survives to see some more months :)

The European is a must try in Ahmedabad to have a Genuine, healthy and Fresh European Cuisine. The Juices Mocktails and the menu served is completely a different which offers healthier food to rich nutritional meals. The menu served is nothing one could expect more for a European taste which is perfectly carved for a wonderful lunch/dining experience.
I wish the vision of food and hospitality takes The European to the highest level of success.

Have travelled to Europe so many times and I always missed authentic European food in Ahmedabad . This is the first time I have visited a restaurant in Ahmedabad that genuinely offers authentic European food. Let me share my experience.
The ambience is just about perfect. Not too jazzy but not too dull also which gives a feeling of being in a European restaurant. Loved the completely open kitchen concept which is very rare to see in Ahmedabad.
Reading the first page of the menu shows that the concept of this restaurant as far as staff is concerned is really a great noble cause of hiring female staff and encouraging them. The staff are very friendly and they always have a smile on their face which makes you feel very comfortable and welcome.
Lastly talking about food and wow it is very impressive. They definitely live up to the standards of typical European food. Not influenced to add Indian masala touch to anything and keeping it simple and completely authentic.
We ordered Greek Collins , three cheese polenta chips, Sicilian trio of arincini and gnocchi with chicken and spinach . And none of them disappointed us. Every dish had great presentation but what impressed me the most was the authenticity of the food which I wasn’t expecting at all and thought it would be same old Indianised version that is so common in Ahmedabad. But to my surprise it wasn’t.
Would highly recommend this restaurant to people who want to have authentic European food and experience.
Definitely must try .

Probably the only restaurant in Ahmedabad where the entire Kitchen is open. They serve some authentic continental cuisines. The second attraction is of course the Australian Chef Nathaniel and his team worgking dedicated in that open kitchen.
Ambience is simple yet designed smartly to attain efficiency in serving food.
We were skeptical that how the authentic continental cuisines will turn out to be? Will it be too blend to our taste buds?. But they have kept such dishes in their menu that they can maintain the authenticity and it will feel delactable to our tastebuds too. We tried following:
Three Cheese Polenta Chips with Truffle Mayo: The chips if form of thick rectangular shape were fried and crisped to the perfection but were bland to taste as it had no spice at all.
Hungarian Potato Langos: It was simple fried potato savoury doughnuts balls that were super crisp from outside and soft and moist from inside but the taste of olive oil, garlic salt and parsley that took the taste to next level. Must try.
Polish Pierogi: It were simple Boiled dumplings filled with cheese and souted cabbage toppped with amazing sage brown butter sauce. The souce gave the perfect punch to this dish.
Greek Artichoke (Stone Baked Pizza): Even after two days when I am writing this review still remember the exact taste of this pizza with perfectly baked on stone prepared from scratch not from any half or semi cooked base. It had toppings of Artichoke (petals an exotic edible green flower), roast peppers and eggplant. Yes Eggplant and believe me that went perfectly well. One of the best pizzas I have had in Ahmedabad. This was the moment of realisation for me how authentic pizzas should be. And from now onwards I will judge every pizza preparation with this one.
French Garlic (Another Stone baked Pizza): With the above mentioned authentic preparation method this one had loads of cheese, oregano and confit (preserved) garlic cloves. The preserved garlic had got the melt in mout texture and yet the strong flavour.
Turkish Rose Pannacotta with a Wild Honey Tuile: At first we fell in love with the presentation of this desert. The freshness of the rose pannacotta was evident with the smoothness of spoon sliced through it. The crunch was wild honey tuile (wafers) crumb gave it amazing blend of taste. That was one of the soul satisfying desert.
French Chocolate Garden: It was a messy looking desert of a chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, lemon curd and crumbled chocolate. I personally didn't like the taste of sour lemon curd getting mixed with some amazing chocolates.
Ahmedabad has always lacked good places for the continental food. Such places cannbe counted on fingers. Among those, The European has bloomed like a butterfly of flavours.

THE PAGAL CHEF - He is really mad about his passion of cooking. The dedication and commitment he gives in getting each dish at perfaction while handling several sections of the kitchen makes him special. I was really amazed watching him in the kitchen as it is an open kitchen restaurant.
This restaurant is THE PLACE for AUTHENTIC FOOD LOVERS. One can feel and taste each flavour individually. I must say why people in western countries do not use much spices, only because to enjoy each and every flavour of food.
Coming to food:
Hungarian Potato Langos:
It is an savoury deep fried potato doughnut dish with garlic salt and parsley with olive oil. The aroma of Olive oil and Fresh Parsley was just awesome. Each flavour came out very well.
French Courgette Clouds:
Crispy Fritters with a twist of Zucchini. Never imagined use of Zucchini like this way. House made Garlic Aioli was just lip smacking.
Italian Spicy Ravioli:
It was spicy enough. Ahmedabadis would want more spicy?;)
German Potato Pancakes:
MUST TRY for pancake lovers. Different than commonly available chocolate pan cakes and all.
Greek Feta Pizza:
Real Gourmet flavour pizza. Yummy taste? (It was so tempting that we started eating and forgot to take the pic)
Mocktail:
Very well balanced flavours of Orange, Pineapple and Lemon Juices with chunks of apple.
I missed their Coffee:(. They make it with professional coffee making machine using freshly ground roast coffee beans the way I like. I will definitely go next time to try their coffee and other signature dishes suggested by them.
This place is heaven for taste lovers. It may not be suitable for just tummy fillers. People may find prices bit high however it is worth paying extra for such an amazing flavours.
Ambiance: Simple and sober. I don't really care when I go out for food I just enjoy food. Ultimately food is what I will carry with me? and I pay for.

The European, it is really a good place if you wanna try something different like out of India cuisine then this place I would recommend strongly to everyone.
Do meet the pagal Chef he is amazing.
The ambience was elegant and simple, I liked it.
Nothing fancy or showing off.
I like there presentation of food because the look of dish exactly says what the dish is all about 👍
They will attract you by their service and amazing food not by fancy things.

1. Belgium smile - Very refreshing , taste of its ingredients were perfect. I really like the fusion of apple syrup in it & for more detailsnof it plz do have a view to the menu of The European 😊

5. Polish Pierogi - This was boomastic dish. It is a kind of dumplings. Handmade dumpling sheets cooked and stuffed and covered with sauce. Stuffing is of perfectly cooked cabbage but it prepartion is unique for which you have to go at this place and feel the aroma of European food.

6. Greek Artichoke Pizza - A wow Pizza. This pizza is not like usual pizzas we try. So, they have ajwain in the pizza base topped with a yummy sauce having Petta, olives, mushrooms, dried paprika and herbs which taste too good. You will find eggplant in it which is a surprising booster. And eggplant can also tastes good in pizza by tasting this pizza I realized.

Really nice authentic European food & ambience.....The open kitchen concept is superb .... I have seen first white chef working in kitchen in Ahmedabad. Also the plates design is very good.
Awesome food!! They can sure improve on ambience but it doesn't matter that much! I would be giving 5 stars of the dessert were as good as the main course. They weren't bad though but compared to the main course we had they were okay.
The flavours and textures were both subtle and amazing.. definitely something that Ahmedabad's been lacking in these days of 'extra spicy' and dunked in truckloads of cheese
