Had ordered for home delivery last weekend... Not happy with the quality of the food.. We had ordered for chicken Masala and Paneer Masala in main course... The food was full of oil and barely any taste in the curry and it was too watery. Starters that we had ordered were good... Malai chicken Tikka and tandoori.... We have been ordering food from this place since last few days but this time.. Food was not up to the mark. For this one Bas experience I shall not give low rating to tawa dawat
It was an awesome experience to try out some main course non vegetarian dishes out there in Dawat. The chicken khohlapuri just made my day. But the non veg starters aren't mouth-watering enough.
Service is good and also food is delicious must try it , the way they prepare orders and maintain their quality is fabulous work , when ever i brought food from here i never felt my money is involved in wrong packaging products, worth for money
The non-veg take away King in the area!!! Very sumptuous non-veg food especially the mutton Kali Mirch. They have limited stuff they serve but what they serve is always good. Word of caution to ppl who are sticklers for cleanliness, it's not that clean but that's what adds to the charm
Tawa Dawat has been around for ages, I discovered the place a few years ago when I went to Icy Pik with a friend to pick up a few things. We tried out one of the fish fries on offer then and for the next 30 mins, we sat in the car licking our fingers and feeding the bones to the stray dogs that loitered around. Ever since, whenever I crave good Indian non vegetarian food, Tawa Dawat always comes to my mind, its a shame they are a take away joint, would have been here a lot more if it were a proper sit down. Try their Fish Amritsari, its fantastic too alongwith butter chicken, tandoori chicken as well as the other sea food offerings.
If you don't want to waste your time and petrol before delisious foods in areas like jamalpur, sarkhej, bhadra, etc then u should try this place near vijay cross road.
This place is may be only for take away but you'll enjoy the food preparation in front of your own eyes.
We were in little hurry that day and unfortunately we ordered just one dice i.e roasted chicken which was good(could be better).
There was small place besides tawa dawat which serves frozen food. All kind of frozen foods were there in their freezer.

Tandoori chicken was simply good recommend to everyone. If you want to eat fish the try some other place. Fish was very oily served in oil rather than gravy and was not fresh at all.
This place has been here for ever and I literally live stone throw distance from this place, but I only visited this place for the first time yesterday. I have been to that complex very often, however the tractor beam from Icy Pink just before has been too strong hence have always opted for that.
My first experience of the Chicken Tikka meal was very good and just as I had ordered it. I do see myself visiting this place more often especially because it is so dam close.

I wanted to eat tandoori chicken yesterday.. and the only take out that came in my mind was Tawa Dawat.. I reached there i ordered tandoori chicken and asked for the spicy one.. the staff asked me to order the tandoori pahadi i ordered it as they have been in the business for quite a long time.
Though i waited for my order for 30 mins, and found that it is better to call them first and book your order because they are really busy...
I really loved the taste , at first it was not spicy then it hit me and i was running for water, The best thing is i have tasted a lot of tandoori but they make the masala .. i could have literally licked the chef's hand ..

One of the best tawa joint with home delivery service within 5kms. Pomphret fish is always blissful never disappointing. Fish tikka, chicken angara, butter chicken and even pre ordered paya are awesome. Love the place. Always advisable

Only recently tbey put up a snazzy red board announcing themselves. Its in a basement of a tower opposite mehta at vijay cross roads. Their frozen food place icy pik, I guess was one of the first places u could get boneless or frozen non-veg food at. I remember as a kid, mom used to at times bring home the chicken and marinate it and put it away. Later, they started with tawa dawat, typically punjabi food, I have only had fish and chicken here. The menu has forever been the same, I am not complaining though.
Me and my dad both being avid fish lovers always order the masala pomfret and are never disappointed. Another thing worth trying is the chicken tikka masala gravy, although very oily, tastes lovely. They serve one of the best fish dish in town, because of their location, and mainly being a take away joint they are not much known. The masala pomfret fry, semi gravy, is the yummiest thing i have ever tasted out of home. Highly recommended. Lots of spices, the fish is completly covered in it and the fish is absolutely lovely, soft and perfectly marinated, tastes much better the next day though. Eat it with rice or roti or simply the fish, it will not disappoint u.
They do home delivery for about 5 kms. There is no ambiance to the place, and no service. U come pick the freshly made food in front of ur eyes, go home and relish it.
If u are a non-veg buff and looking for options, give tawa dawat a shot.

Non-veg here is awesome. As for the vegetarian dishes, its not really worth trying them. Better pack something else for your veggie friends.
Once you are here, try chicken salan and chicken makhani fry. Also, if you are into seafood try macchi ka salan.
One side note, the rotis prepared here are not that good. Tandoori rotis are ok but I recommend packing them from someplace else like navrang which is nearby. Also, their tandoori chicken is ok compared to their other food.

Its a take-away restaurant located in a basement so you make the ambiance at home :)
Also, there is a good place which offers frozen chicken and non alcoholic champagnes just next to it.
In case you can't find it, the building is just next to the crossing(not the vijay one)
I'd tried some of their frozen items from Icy Pik before and I loved the spice quotient, so I had to go to the outlet itself and order some food fresh.
Whatever we ordered was freshly made in front of our eyes. And it was really spicy and yummy which everyone at home really enjoyed when the parcels were opened.
My favourite kebabs are the chicken shikhari and pahadi as they have a nice hot kick to them. We also ordered some kheema, kaleji and bheja which were excellent. I think this is the only place in Ahmedabad (not in the old city) that you can get these dishes.

Yes, baby this is one of the best takeaway food joints for non-veg lovers in Ahmedabad. The food is absolutely delicious, hygienically prepared and contains fresh ingredients. You may blindly order any items from their menu, be it fish, chicken or mutton and rest assured that it'd taste the best. But do try the Tawa Masala items, they're absolutely divine for large parties as well as quiet Sunday lunches.

We visited this restaurant on suggestion of our driver,during our trip to Ahmedabad. As a goan we were bored of veg food and wanted to try some tasty non-vegetarian food.
We visited at around 9pm and to our disappointment it was full of crowd. We wanted to try some other restaurant but the owner said it will be empty soon. After around 45 mins we got to enter the restaurant. We ordered chicken biryani and chicken 65. The quantity was awesome and more than enough for 3 people which is rare in many restaurant. The taste was amazing, and 65 was finger Licking too. We were glad that we didn't go to some other restaurant 🤣. The price was reasonable too.
We will definitely visit here again whenever we are in Ahmedabad.

One of the popular non.veg restaurants in the city side area. If you are carving for non veg., this restaurant is a must for you. Also it's on the border of the city nehru bridge so people from inside and outside of the city can easily choose this restaurant. Staff is well behaved and the best possible service is available.
The restaurant is neat and clean. The washroom is there. The food, the food is amazingly delicious fr. Some of the items like Sizzler, Butter chicken, keema pav, ahh you will be heaven tasting these ones.
The price is a little costly compared to other restaurants. On the food side, it's great and unavoidable as a foodie.

A good place to dine with family and friends. Good service, some of the starters are awesome and should be tried like tangadi kabab, tandoori chicken etc. The ambiance is great and spacious. Different size tables for the number of People for dining. Specialized for non vegetarian food. It's on the First floor and good parking space is available in the evening. The restaurant entry is from the left corner side of the building. If you are a non vegetarian and would like to enjoy non vegetarian food at Ahmedabad then pleasure trove can be one of the good options.
