This is the original Karnavati Dabeli....and still they have manage to maintain quality...best dabeli in the city.... vadapav were okayish.

One of the oldest snacks bar in town. Consistency in taste makes them best. Amazing dabeli and vadapao in the area. Service is good and cleanliness is maintained in the shop. Worth it's price.

Perfect place in maninagar to eat dabeli. The taste of dabeli one gets here has no comparison in maninagar. Butter dabeli is my personal favorite. Only bad part is, very less place to sit.
Always the ultimate dabeli, always great in taste. Was a regular visitor when was living in Maninagar, now as i hv shifted to Gulbaitekra, i don't get much of a chance to have it. But whenever now i travel to that part of city i definitely have atleast two dabeli and a vadapav. Never disappointed me.

Best Dabeli Place Ever!
I've been going to Karnavati Dabeli since the early '90s when they used to sell them for Rs. 2.50. No exaggeration, I must've had more than a 100 dabelis from here over the years and their taste has still remained the same. Every time I visit Ahmedabad, the first thing I do is hop over here to gobble 2-3 of their dabelis. Go for their standard non-fried dabeli and not the fried ones that you get in other part of the country. Also, if you can eat spicy then ask the server to make it medium else go for the 'meetha'(sweet) version. Don't get fooled into ordering their teekha version because the nearest fire station is more than a kilometer away from here.
Also, if you're someone who likes their vada pav to be fried (unlike the Mumbai ones), they do a good rendition of that as well. Choose your fat - oil-fried or butter-fried - and enjoy.
Tip: On weekends and holidays, make sure you're here before 7pm else chances are that they would've run out of dabelis. And always be ready to stand in queue for at least 10-15 minutes.

Good place with good cleanliness. Their taste is good which makes you familiar with difference to others and for real taste, taste it with butter option. Vadapau is also their nice speciality.

This is a landmark place for all dabeli lovers. I particularly remember that if any of our colleagues had to come to this part of the city for a meeting, they had to customarily get dabelis for the team in the office.
Now Karnavati Dabeli has started selling Vadapavs too and even this item is hot selling.
Warning: If you plan to get dabelis from this place, go there before 7pm, coz the stock gets cleared pretty soon. Also be prepared to wait in a long queue.
