Nice food i order Chinese
The place is really cozy and family friendly. The food over here is delicious and comforting. And would love to go here over and over again.
Tried 2-3 items from which one was Baked Macaroni with pineapple and was really good. Another was Egg Biryani and it was damm superb. Burger was average.
Khana khazana has been revamped by the Inder group. The age old place now has a new look and a new menu with exciting new dishes. They also have the monsoon festival that is currently showcasing a variety of special dishes that they've put together especially for this purpose. The taste of all the dishes is quite nice and the main course as usual was exemplary, be it the veg or the non vegetarian dishes. No complaints for the main course and the dessert. The appetizers however were somewhat a mixed experience. Nothing bad per se, just a tad more work required there. But try their chaats and pani puri, those were lovely or even the tandoori corn. Not all revamps work but I must say these guys have done a marvellous job!
Too much of experimental outings in pursuit of trying all the new places coming up on SBR and Prahladnagar? I have had quite a bit of it - go to the newest place in town almost every week. And then I decided to turn to a good old, reliable place. The restaurant at Inder is where I headed for lunch on a Sunday and relive the old times when I used to frequent this place very often.
And it was indeed worthwhile an idea. The charm of the 90s, warm service and cosy ambience made the experience pleasant. I did manage to be away from the bustle of weekend. As a part of the Monsoon festival that they are running, the lunch began with blue heaven (loved the slight fizz in the drink) and masala bhutta. Just the perfect spiciness I would have wanted. Pani puri shots looked mouth-watering and so it was! Aloo tikki was good too. China town sizzler was almost regular; not a big fan of the localized chinese food. Was quite full by this to go to the main course. Tried some palak sabji with roomali roti. They always make wonderful roti.
I would skip the brownie with ice cream for gulab jamun any day!
Overall experience was a bit of nostalgia with charm of old days and reliable, decent food. Once in a while, it is always nice to stop by at the old spots, take a moment and soak in the feeling of days gone by. I am glad I went to Inder, when are you stopping by?!
The only place that saves me from going mad coz of hunger post midnight, the time we usually call off our day.
I've almost tried everything and have been eating here since ages. Literally ages coz that has earned me a Premium Membership which obviously gives discount on every visit.
After trying everything my favourite dishes that we order everytime are Cream of Chicken Soup, Cheese Chilly Toast and Chicken Adraki accompanied with Roasted and Fried Papads and Chicken Tikka.
We're a group of 4 and we take our dinner here every night.
This place is savior.
Just love the place 😊😊
PS. Deducted 0.5 coz at times you feel their staff is ignorant.
Awesome food ...............great place.....................................................5 star rating ....................................
Best Place for non veg. Non veg lovers will enjoy here. Yummy butter chicken dish. Chicken tandoori. And mushroom starter is the yum. Loved the food.
There was a time when hotels on ashram road/gujarat college were the go to locations for people who wanted late night food. Inder Residency and Westend would be packed late in the night.
Decided to go to Inder Residency after a long time, checked their menu and pictures and they seemed to had renovated their restaurant. We ordered for paneer chilli dry in starters, the paneer was really fresh and soft and the amount Of chilli was precise. The veg makhanwala was also delicious, tried lasooni naan and dal tadka, which had a lot of flavours. The dal was a winner.
The only thing which they have to improve on is the service, the staff is not able to recommend dishes and are hardly attentive inspire of the restaurant not being full. Otherwise the food is really good. 4 for food, -1 for the service.
Came across Khana Khazana after a long time when I see on Zomato that they were screening cricket games. Decided to go to the restaurant after ages, earlier we used to go to the cafe which was 24 hours, but I hadn't been here since long.
They have completely changed the ambiance which is for good also the food is totally up to the mark. The tandoori chicken was the best, the chicken was very juicy and tender. One of the best tandoori I have had in a long time. The paneer sabji which we called for was also good.
The overall experience was very satisfying, they can work a bit on their staff, they are very hesitant when asked about their suggestions. Otherwise everything was good. Surely worth a visit once in a while.
Oh good old times. How I miss them. There used to be a time in this city when Inder Residency and Westend were the hotels which used to satisfy my hunger pangs especially when it was late in the night.
Came across this restaurant after ages on Zomato and decided to give it a visit. They have changed the ambiance, you have to change with time they say.
The non veg food here is as good as it gets, the Tandoor was brilliant, the presentation of the food is top notch here, not many places who do that. Glad I rediscovered this place.
Our first visit to Ahmedabad and because of its proximity to where we were staying we decided to give it a try..and damn good decision it turned out to be..we ordered dal shorba and chicken clear soup..followed by tawa paneer, tandoori chicken, chicken adraki, pudina paratha and rumaali roti...the entire spread tasted awesome..chicken was tender and juicy and paneer was fresh...elated by success with good food decided to give it a try for dinner..ordered chilly chicken..and Risotto and damn..good food again...just hope they keep up the taste and quality.. the same staff is extremely courteous and polite..
If u r roaming around the in late night and extremely hungry.... Cannot decide where to go n what to eat with a good place... Inder residency is a perfect place for u guys.... Previously they use to have 24/7 coffee bar.... However, its been closed for night later.... I was with my friend in winter near Ellis bridge.... We just had few bucks..... We went over there and ordered tomato n munchow soup.... Trust me guys..... Its not bad at all ....... Many celebrities of Bollywood and cricketers use to stay over there once upon a time.....
