Azad eatery for me is like Ghar ka khaana. Satisfactory, tasty yet good food. It's the restaurant I would always prefer when ur tired and not able to cook, This is my first choice ever b'coz it's good and not harassing our body like other hotel's food when one is already tired.
Best sweets ever and unbelievable fact of this retaurant is that they make savoury pizza also sweet. So only sweets are preferable at this sweet mart.
We had their visit on Sunday for lunch. As we were early at around 11:45 am, the place was empty house.Ambiance is very bright and clean. We opted for gujarati meal and aalu paratha. Meal contained roti, aalu ki sabji, sindhi daal, rice and majoon. Food was super tasty, I found it on sweeter side. Aalu paratha was quite large and stuffing was excellent.
We five senior citizens visited the restaurant today . We have ordered poori shak (sweet), papad & majoon. All items were tasty
& delicious. Service was also very good. We would like to visit the restaurant again.
My dad recommended this place to me so many time. It’s a heritage place to have dal pakwan which is a sindhi delicacy. N tried it few days back. I ordered dal pakwan and dal chawal as well and it was really delicious. A must go place. Do try their dal pakwan.
We ordered gulabjamun from this place and was happy from what arrived at door.
Quality is fabulous in quantity i would say everyone else measures quantity with chashni but they don't if you order 500gm gulab you get 500gm of gulab jamun.

For breakfast I ordered Samosas and for some sweets cravings i ordered Rabri, Rasmalai and Gulab jamun. Coming over to the best taste, Gulab Jamun was seriously the bessst. Rasmalai n Rabri were also very good. But I’ve had better Rabri to be honest. At last talking about the samosa it looked really good as per the shape n size 😅 but the potato filling was very basic so the taste was not as good as it looked. Still not that bad either.

A nice place to visit anytime you feel to have the best puri shakh in town. And if you're out for dessert try its tasty rasmalai. Enjoyed with my family and friends. The place is azad sweets.

Best place in Ahmedabad for their speciality items puri shak(alu mutter) and majun. Visited this place today. Ordered their speciality items puri shak and majun.It was very tasty.It serves both sweet and spicy shak. Although it doesn't share the same vibe as the original Azad Restaurant and Sweets in revdi bazar, going here is quite convenient. Moreover, the taste of the food and the quality is the same, maybe even a tad bit better. I tried Dal Pakwan, Puri Shaak, Koki Dahi, Majoon, and Rasmalai all of which are simply delectable - especially the Majoon - which is a must try.

One of the oldest Sindhi food outlet in town well known for Puri shak ( that's sweet and spicy) majoon (that's a Sindhi sweet). They serve good quality Sindhi delicious and other foods. Puri shak , majoon and Rose faluda is best of their offering. Dal pakvan is good but not best.
All time favourite place to try puri shak and this platter. They have unique platter and tasty food. One of the oldest place in town.
Tried their majun which is very unique in taste, kala gulab jamun was also good

Food is good but service should be improved. Their special item is puri and shak (alu mutter sabji). Them sabji is sweet and spice both available but sweet is too much sweet so people who like less sweets can order spicy sabji.
Food was great , we had chole poori , paneer veg sabji with chappati , and finally finished with chaas . Chole was. Soft melt in the mouth and pooris were crisp fried enjoyed the food , service was good . Ideal for family
