I am a huge fan of dabelis. And this is just an absolutely place to savour the taste. They have variety of dabelis. You need to be quick and early attacker as their dabelis sell like hot buns. If you get late, you may have to return home with disappointment as they sold out quickly. They sell vada pav but since I am from Mumbai, i am not so keen on eating vada pav here, because come on! No one sells vada pav like Mumbai does.
Whenever i visit Ahmedabad, I eat dabeli here at least once on every visit.

Have been visiting this place as a teenager when the price of Dabeli was 4 Rs. They are pioneers in dabeli and in my opinion the true "Karnavati Dabeli". They started from a very small outlet nearly 2 decades back and have renovated quite a few times in between. Current renovation has increased the space and you can eat dabelis in peace without encroaching other's space.
Coming to their delicacy
Dabeli : What differentiates their Dabeli from others is the pau they use, very fresh, soft and succulent. In my opinion, that's half battle already won and add to that, they have their potato paste which is little sweet and spice and their peanuts are shallow fried in oil, sweetish tangy paste which adds to their awesome taste. They serve with either sweet or garlic chutney.
Erstwhile, it was only plain dabeli but now they also offer toasting it up in butter or oil. I however still prefer the old dabeli with fresh bun and amazing paste.
Trip to Ahmedabad is futile without a visit to this place and though the prices have quadrupled with increase in input costs, people flock this place in evenings.
TIp : Visit the shop by 7 PM or you might find Dabelis exhausted !
Now they also offer dabeli paste and packet of peanuts for you to take home. You just need to boil potatoes, mix them along with peanuts and have with pau and chutney. Quite handful for outsiders who would still like to satisfy their taste buds outside Ahmedabad.
Nothing short of 5 rating would justify this place.
Best place to have dabeli and vada pav.. Dabeli here is very fresh and taste is unique. There is rush throughout the day but its worth waiting in line.. The renovated center is more spacious and has enough place to stand and eat there.

WO WO WO, i never had tested kuch dabeli but yes i tasted it from almost 50 stalls in ahmedabad and never ever find such test any where, I am surprise for not seeing any reviews for Karanavati, "KARANAVAT" is trademark for dabeli and that is only because of this center, i am found of this center dabeli and eating since 15 years when owner has just "Lari" near prakash nagar corner,
There is also Vadapav available in this center
I come from Mumbai which is famous for Vada Pav but I'm telling you with full honesty, the vada pav here is better. The dabeli, well it was extremely good for sure but I'm used to dabelis having baarik sev so that was something I missed.
Overall, it was a good experience. Highly recommended!
The oldest Dabeli shop in Maninagar has been visiting since my college days. Same taste even today. Reduced star to four because management of delivery of Dabeli and Vada Pav can be improved but I have not seen the efforts for it. Must try if you are in the Maninagar area.

It's a famous for Kutchi Dabeli in Maninagar area. I tried so many times here. It's good in taste, but my favorite Kutchi Dabeli is at Bajrang Kutchi Dabeli at Naroda the best one. This is the second one in taste for me. Other fast food is good here. Must try Kutchi dabeli here.

I grew up having dabeli from Karnavati. They maintained the same delicious taste from last 25 years. I have tried dabeli from many places but never got taste likeKarnavati. Their vadapav is also great. This is the only place which I never wanted to skip during my India’s visit. The dabeli masala is also great.

There are two separate queues for dabeli and vada pav. Non Gujrathi person will have to struggle to read instructions as they are not in Hindi or English.
