I used to eat khamani here as it is located just near to my office. Generally people serves kadhi or green chatani with khamani, but this man serves it only with mixture of onions and green mango, but it tastes delicious.. people who loves khamani must try it when mood strikes for the tasty snacks..

Best Khamani I have had in my life. For Rs 30 a plate, this is one amazing snack. Affordable and tasty! I am a fan. Anyone who has never tried Khamani should come here once.
Finally today visit this place & love it's sev khamani. No ambiance only small outlet & Kaka seating there is very humble. Sweet khamani with lots of sev & some pomegranate with some spicy salty salad type thing which add good combination.kaka is too friendly & when I took photos he said take more photos & laugh loudly. Very good experience.
The the most fabulous one. Khamni, with great taste of real Gujarati tadka and makes you feel real zayka of it. The owner is very jolly and honest person and delivers it with love. The main reason of success and taste is his confidence and love for your eat. Yes it's real true that if you will taste here once, you will come again and again.
Best khamani in ahmedabad is amiri khamani.. Very small shop only serve khamani. Nothing else in the menu. But very good in taste. I love the taste. It's a perfect for breakfast with tea. And it is for whole family item. The service is also good but the owner is now very old age and very strict in manner. Perfectly follow rules soo that's why not ever asking for additional salad chutney or anything else. That's the only minus point.. Otherwise it's very very good and tasty... Should try it.. Will love it!!!

it is the very good place to be... i used to visit there once in a week... the shop is at roadside, but still people crave for the khamani sold here... each time i visited, i came back happy.. i would give it 5/5 if it would have the sittng area...

Khamani is a local dish. And surti sev khamani as it is called is made from gram flour. It is usually served topped with sev and some pomegranate. Served on side is some spicy salad thing, generally raw mangos and onion to make the dish tangy.
That is about what the dish is. Now about the place. This little pan parlour sized shop specializes in serving only khamani and has been there for almost about 30 odd years. The khamani is made at home and the person who runs the shop brings about 2 big containers full of it. Its then plated in a disposable paper plate, topped with pomogranate and sev and onion raw mango salad. You mix all of it up and makes for one flavorable delicacy. All for just Rs. 20 per plate (80gms). It is not only delicious, it is filling and makes up for something new for the tastebuds.
The best thing is it ia flavorsome. Being inexensive adds to the attraction.
Youcan stand there and eat your fare or get a take away, there are no chairs/tables etc plus its on a crowded road, so if you go in a big group please bear that in mind. Best is to get a "to go pack" and enjoy at home with family.
If you are looking at trying local flavors, something different or are simply hungry, drop in, it will plesantly surprise you.
