Small menu. And you don’t get any forks or knives. But has delectable food. Chicken kebab and paneer tikka were both very flavorful. Gulab Jamun was decadent.

Loved the food and the experience. I had booked this place as a celebration for my cousin's wedding and it indeed lived up to is billing. The Dal Bukhara was indeed amazing, loved their lobster tandoori, the rest of the food was memorable too. I think next time I will concentrate more on the starter kebabs and skip the main course completely. Please do try their phirni, that was better than i expected it to be. Since I had mentioned that it was an anniversary they even arranged for a cake on their own, which was a nice touch.

You just need to visit Peshawri to feel the atmosphere and get to know the hype about Dal Bukhara. From Panner Tikka to Dal Bukhara, and from Pudina Paratha to Ras Malai everything was top-notch.

Peshawri from ITC Narmada is finally off my bucket list. Celebrated my birthday with intimate family dinner here last night and I must say the aesthetics wowed us. ITC Narmada claims to be paying an ode to The Grandeur of Gujarat and it very well does that with it’s majestic architecture and tastefully done decor. I always wanted to visit Yi Jing - a Chinese specialty restaurant housed under ITC Narmada. But since it was a family gathering most of the people did not prefer Chinese and we went to Peshawri instead. For the uninitiated, Peshawri is an award winning brand by ITC finding a place at several ITC hotels in India. It serves North West Frontier cuisine with a panache. What pleasantly surprised me was their limited menu that never confuses you but also gives that confidence that a chef is presenting signature dishes only. Bukhara - the flagship restaurant of ITC Maurya, Delhi, that started in 1977 has become a legend for it’s Dal Bukhara. If legends are to be believed Dal Bukhara is cooked for 18 hours and is touted to be the best Black Dal in India. For it’s Dal only, Bukhara has won accolades that very few restaurants in India has earned. To put things into perspective, almost every US President have been a guest here. Sachin Tendulkar is a massive fan of their Dal and many Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities frequent Bukhara. So it was evident for me to order Dal Bukhara without fail. Even with their limited menu we were torn apart between ordering Paneer Khurchan or Makhani. We finally settled for Makhani. Pudina Paratha, Roomali Roti, Butter Naan and Bharwan Kulcha were ordered along with the curry. If I have to review only one dish, I could write paragraphs on their Dal Bukhara and not mention anything else but that would be grossly unfair. Paneer Makhani as the name suggested came in tomato gravy with cream. The smooth gravy was a tad bit sour in my opinion but that could also because my naan went straight into Dal every time automatically. Since my family knows about my love for documenting food, everyone on the table inadvertently start sharing their things with me even when I do not ask 😛. So I tried all the breads and here is my review for each of the breads. Butter Naan: This was the best. It was crispy at the edges and soft in the centre. Whoever is tending the tandoor at Peshawri is to be lauded. The crispy edges when dunked in the Dal was blissful. Softer parts of naan tasted great with the silky smooth Makhani gravy. Bharwan Kulcha can become a meal in itself without any Dal or Curry. Paneer stuffed, huge potion of this Kulcha is best eaten with pickle. Paneer stuffing is the reason it becomes protein heavy morsel with Paneer curry. Roomali Roti is good for the people who are not Naan fans but I have heard better Roomali Rotis at different ITC restaurants. It would have gone very well with Kebabs but alas our order was just vegetarian fare. I would have preferred Roomali with Chicken Tikka. Pudina Paratha was my least favourite because I have never been a fan dried Pudina powder sprinkled on my staple. The taste is synthetic and never goes well with Indian curries (in my opinion). Here too, it did not leave a great mark as compared to other Indian breads. All in all it was an unforgettable experience for a significant day. The way these restaurants are positioned, priced and marketed it is always frequented on noteworthy occasions and not on day-to-day basis. But the staff and the management are trained for handling special occasions and hence you always feel special. If I were to choose to go to places that are 500/- per person vis a vis places like this that are (more or less) 1000/- per person, I would choose this. The premium is for the service, hospitality and overall experience that is to be cherished. Next time I am going for their another signature dish Sikandari Raan provided I make friends with a few people who are okay having non vegetarian dishes too. #Peshawri #ITCNarmada

Inside ITC Narmada, one reason to be at Peshawari is the Dal Bukhara. The authentic taste and flavors of Indian food with a lovely ambience makes it a perfect choice for a gala dinner.

On the 10th floor of ITC Narmada, Ahmedabad. Contrary to other Peshawri restaurants of ITC this place is more modern and comfortable. The decor is excellent. The seating is more comfortable comparing to the backless seating of other places. It may be contrary to the convention but is comfortable as people are evolved to sit more comfortably. Still the cutleries are avoided to retain the original food habits. The service is excellent. All dishes are crafted with love and care and hence delicious. The portion is large and can suffice for four people. Overall had a satisfying evening.

I went there on valentine's day with prior booking. Food was fantastic. One thing i want to mention is that they don't keep fork and spoon on the table. When i asked for one the manager replied - if you want we'll provide but we insist that you must enjoy the food with your hand. Service and Food quality was up to mark.

We visited the Adalaj Pavilion on the occasion of ITC’s 1st anniversary and I am very glad to share that we had an awesome experience. The food quality and the freshness in each and every cuisine is amazing. I am also thankful to Mr. Abhishek Chaudhary for his hospitality and guidance as we also asked him about our upcoming celebrations. Overall experience is a 5 star and hope ITC Narmada continue the same taste and hospitality for years to come. Thank You once again
