Bestest food i ever had on Train.
I booked a Thali from Hotel Vijay by IRCTC App, payment mode was COD.
They delivered a parcel directly on my seat.
packing was good and Hygienic.
Food was testy, like our outside Restaurants.
I traveled a lot via a Train but First time I got Hygienic and tasty food
I ordered Veg Biryani from IRCTC Ecatering app,
Taste and Quality is very good, packing is also up to the mark.
Costs ₹131 for Veg Biryani, and you get delivery at your reservation seat.
Quantity is sufficient for 1 person
I have ordered during my journey by train. Food, Packaging & portion was really good. Even they took care the instructions given for Kid's Khichadi preparation.

Highly recommended if you are travelling via Ahmednagar. Its very rare to find good food while travelling on Indian train. Food at Hotel Vijay is very tasty, hygienic and delivered at your Coach on time. Once I ordered Dal khichadi 10 min before and it was delivered at my coach. Thank you so much H
My Food delivery was in train. It was on time and moreover food served was hot gud in taste fresh in quality. Lovely experience.
I Order two vej biryani and one dal khichdi and food came directly to my seat with Clean and nice packaging and food was delicious though chili was little high for my test but other than that everything was perfect it was my first order form here so I know next time to ask for low chili in my food..
Ordered Shahi paneer via irctc e catering around 1.5hrs before arrival. Delivery was organised. Online payment was also accepted. Taste was very good. Can rely on this hotel if you don't pack food from home. Hope this helps!
Food taste is good specially butter roti. Thali gravy quantity is high as compared to roti and rice. 3 roti is enough but rice portion should be increased but over all i like the food and we enjoyed the food

Hotel Vijay is like an oasis in Sahara with delicious Indian food. Food ordered thru IRCTC was both sumptuous, tasty and hot. The Owner took a special request when I called and delivered some more yummy dishes straight to the seat. Order on this blindfolded and prepare yourself for a delicious meal.
Food was wonderful. Was really astonishing to see a very good packaging and a very good quality of food. Thanks for delivering right in the seat.

Enjoyed their Veg Biryani which was delivered in my seat in the train. Everytime while travelling, I order this dish. The quantity is good, but sometimes it is more spicy than needed.
Also, I like the Monginis pastry given with biryani.
Packing charge is more otherwise the food is enough for one person, taste is also good, do order veg thali
I ordered veg biryani 😍 which is very tasty and they gave me two medium size Golan Jamun, along with two spoon 🥄 and one mint and in addition they where provide gravy and raita.. ❤️ And packing of food very nice..
