Delicious restaurant with a lovely lake view!! Incredible wide selection of local Indian food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highly recommend! The staff are all so lovely and accommodating. The view is amazing over the lake. They put rose petals over my table for my last night here and made me a masala dosa before I left! Thanks to all which has made me stay so lovely and memorable! Look forward to my next visit :)
What a lovely place tucked inside a lovely traditional Keralan style building. We arrived 30 minutes early but they let us sit early and order.
Despite that the food came out quick and hot!
We ordered the biryani, fish curry and chicken fry here. It didn’t disappoint. The biryani was rich and sweet. The curry tangy and not fishy at all. The fry spicy and tender
The food is top notch and the ambience is too good. Such a worth it place to just sit relax and have great food. This place has become our go to place to chill. Will def recommend it to anyone who plans to visit aleppe.
One of the best view of punnamada lake is here. You can enjoy the view over your lunch or dinner. Tried some of the local delicacy of Alappuzha here. Especially the karmeen pollichathu and seafood masala and alallpey fish curry. Great food great location. And a fantastic view of the lake. Price are on the higher side but see the spot is fantastic and well maintained. Reaching there is a bit tricky since the road are little narrow. But the experience is worth it.
I should say this is the best restaurant in Alappuzha in terms of location, ambience, food, quality of ingredients plus they have a wonderful sweet well groom team. Have been there many time. I prefer their A la carte than their buffet. Buffet if mostly the traditional spread and being from kerala that doesn't excite me much. Also they do arrange customised candle light dinner which is really good. The best is staff behaviour and welcoming nature even when you are not a in-house guest, which I found is different from even many other places coz most of them prefer their restaurants exclusive for in-house guest esp during holidays. Here they are always welcoming and attentive to your needs even when you are not staying there. I love the place esp for lunch, evening tea and even an early dinner just because I don't want to miss the view in solitude or with my loved ones.
Atmosphere is the highlight of this restaurant. You can have their delicious food enjoying the beauty of punnamada lake. The place is so calm (if there are no events going on). If you're looking for a peaceful less crowded restaurant with good food in Alappuzha, this is your place.

Great view, it's part of punnamada resort, nice food as well, the wait time was high, but the taste was worth it. Parking is 300m away from the resort, park at punnamada resort parking and walk the rest

Choola est le restaurant du resort Punnamada et non un restaurant au sens classique. Nous sommes arrivés une fois la cuisine fermée mais ils nous ont servi un délicieux snack au bord de l'eau dans un cadre paradisiaque. Personnel attentionné et gentil.
Nous reviendrons sûrement pour un séjour dans ces maisons chambres si charmantes ! Calme absolu et jolie piscine le tout au bord de l'eau.
