Came by this restaurant when we were on a road trip. We hadn't had any food since morning as we were searching for a good but a reasonably priced restaurant.
While passing across this restaurant we got a good vibe but as we had already passed we went to other place. But something was in this restaurant and we decide to go back and give it a visit.
Ambience :- 3.5/5. Decent ambience ,outdoor sitting, open space. Maybe we had visited in a sunny day so was a little bit too hot. It does have a dhaba feeling but with a modern twist. Bamboo chairs with table says it all.
Service :- 3.5/5 . Service was good and prompt. Our server Akshay was jolly and knew the menu a bit. Though they are short on staff as after we settled as the crowd increased there was a bit delay in servings but overall jolly people with no highway restaurant fuss and the tantrums.
Food:- 3.5/5. As we were too hungry wirh no breakfast we directly jumped to maincourse.
Though we ordered masala papad as accompaniments and that said the food would be decent enough.
We ordered .
Veg kolhapuri: it was a decent dish and with really hot kohlapuri flair. My friends weren't able to have it. Not a restaurants mistake . Kolhapuri is supposed to be spicy. But Akshay was courteous enough to add coconut cream and mild it down a little bit.
Malvani chicken :- the rassa was good with a hint of different malvani flavour. A bit spicy but of my liking. The chicken pieces though were too bony and less but we understood itte paise main itna hi milega. Overall a good dish.
Roti : they didnt had bhakri or chapati as they order it from outsidr and dont make it at their kitchen. We ordered tandoori roti it was better than what i had in high end restaurant in mumbai.
Rice : it was basmati and a bit undercooked too.
Overall score :- 3.5 .total cost:975/- for 4
There are lot if things to improve.lot of things to add. But overall a good restaurant and will reccomend people going from mumbai to Alibaug to give it a compulsory visit.
Going in the evening will have a better ambience.

After my 2nd impromptu stop at this place last weekend, i decided to take time out and write a review for this place situation on the main road to Alibaug and have really good stuff to say about them.
The 1st time i visited this place was earlier in the year when i had a craving for some really good Punjabi styled food and to my surprise in the middle of nowhere zomato offered this place to serve the pipping hot curries and a good mix of roti spread.
The place is open seating, on the bend of the road on a slight hill that gives it a look and feel that one generally associates to restaurants in Uttaranchal or down a hill station. The place has a lush green and open spread with a front facing garden and seating inside under the roof that can host up to 30-40 people.
The smiling and humble staff is an instant delight as that is least expected on the highway kinda place. Much to my delight the server knew the menu well and i instantly had a feeling that this is the right place for some lip-smacking punjabi curries and breads. I ordered Butter Paneer Masala (yeah the run of the mill vegetarian stuff) and garlic naans and others alongside ordered a whole host of chicken curries and bread basket.
The food to be honest ... was Fantabulous, everything on the plate was a delight for the taste-buds...while the butter panner masala and butter chicken had the same gravy, the twist in a couple of spices ensures that you are in the right Punjabi hands :)
Portions are lush and widespread, menu too contains a whole wholesome depth with breads, indian, punjabi, a little mughlai and chinese as well. The food is great, the service is paced up and the ambiance is really killer for a evening dinner or evening a small tea/coffee session on the drive.
Beware of the sweet Rocky .. the German Shepherd who is huge and yet charming as always :D
My 2nd visit happened last week where i was in a rush but wanted to enjoy the sun-set while sipping some good handmade coffee and this place again came to my rescue.
A must stop place for lunch/dinner and even snacks.
Quantities are good to serve 3-4 people on average, vegetarians wont be disappointed at all but non-vegetarians will have a blast ... can vouch for it basis the expressions people have :)

Tasty food and awesome ambience on the way to murud. I went with my college group and loved the chicken murg musalum and butter rotis. Also NH 66 special is delicious. While coming back to Mumbai we had dinner here and that's when we got the actually touch of the ambience. NH66 is going to be my restaurant to eat when ever i travel to alibaug.
NH66 one of the best restaurant in alibaug and a must visit place. The quality of food is delicious with excellent service. The hotel has a very good ambiencr. If you miss out this food it would be one of your biggest mistake.

Prompt service. Delicious delicious food and a beautiful setting. Enroute Alibaug this restaurant is tough to spot but missing to pay it a visit will be the stupidest mistake you can do! I was told by a friend to check this one out, which is why we didn't miss out on it.
Food to order, safe bet, tried and loved:
Paneer butter masala
Butter garlic naan
Masala papad
Fresh lime water
Chicken afghani or something like that (ask for recommendations)
P.S: not expensive at all for the quality of food offered.
Don't forget to meet a giant German shepherd here. He is adorable.

Very good food on this joint..went with a group of six and we had chicken and paneer tikka, roti and veg kolhapuri, veg diwan and dal tadka and jeera rice...especially tandoor food was very good...will visit again if I happen to go by that side any time in future..

NH 66 Garden Restaurant is one of the finest dining restaurant across the alibaug pen circle. it is situated right in front of teenvira dam which is the famous picnic spot in rainy season.
It has beautifully decorated long garden from entrance. the beautiful ambience and light effects to the whole sitting space catches your eye. The service pitchers are polite and attentive. The food itself is delicious at taste with quantity as per the customers.
The chef Roy will ask you for order and will explain the best dishes he can offer you. Even though being the new restaurant in the area, the food tastes like the famous and well experienced hotels. Being all this, the place offers moderate prices on all it's dishes.
Most of the celebrities visit here often due to its ambience and tasty food. This place is picturesque and also been used for pre wedding shoots by some customers. There are many amenities in restaurants which catch your attention like huge parking lot, washrooms & changing rooms, roaming area for your pets.
A good dining option on the way to alibag, nagaon beaches. Ambience is good and the food is tasty. Bugs are a little nuisance at night.

One of my favourite places to eat. The food was delicious and flavourful. We ate to our hearts content! We had ordered Chicken thali, Mutton thali & some fish starters. The quantity of food was great and for 2 people was more than enough! they really serve fresh fish & taste is authentic. The serving time is quite late but worth waiting for such delicacy. The food isn't that costly and I felt it was worth every penny. Overall a very satisfying experience. Would definitely like to visit here once again.
