I am staying at dolma for 8 months now, and staff is sweet, aunt and the whole family is really warm. View is exceptional.
Food is cheap and worth the price, with variety
I had heard about Dolma restaurant which is the best place to eat in Kasar Devi. The ambiance of the restaurant is very good and a beautiful view of the valley is visible from here.
You can eat food while sitting inside the restaurant and you can also eat food sitting outside.
I had breakfast earlier. Potato onion paratha and coffee were very tasty. So I thought I will have dinner here also.
For dinner I ordered thupka and momos.
I had this in my mind that Chinese food here would be very tasty but Thupka and Momos did not live up to my expectations.
The reason may be that I like a little spicy thupka. Service was very good at restaurant.
I was here for a day so couldn't taste more food items. Next time I would definitely like to taste Chinese and Tibetan food here.
I felt it overrated. The taste was like of any fast food center. Mutton momo was OK OK. Chilly chicken was good. Thenduk was OK, but lemon ginger rea was very good and refreshing. But getting these dishes here at Kasar is a good work in itself.
Loved the golden view, hills, restaurant even provide Vaishanav/Jain food. All over one can make a stay at this place.
I could not believe despite the cheap price they maintenance hygiene, best part this place has their own parking and Restaurant, views are amazing you can see sunrise from your own balcony
We had taken our lunch here at New Dolma restaurant during Almora trip. First of all location & view from this restaurant is quite good. Kasar Devi Temple is situated at less than a km from here. From Veg thali & Thukpa, Momo, Fried rice, Chicken dishes are available here at a very reasonable price. Quality & quantity of foods are just too good. Mutton momo is also available here.

I stayed in New Dolma Hotel for two months. It is located right besides the Kasar Devi temple which makes it very convenient for devotees. Paan Singh Uncle and Dolma Aunty were very warm and gracious hosts who made my stay comfortable and relaxed. Special mention to Lalit, who takes care of room guests. He was always available and would go the extra mile to make sure my requests were fulfilled. Overall, I was very happy with my stay in New Dolma Hotel.
Only ate here, did not stay in rooms, veg thali was reasonably good as was paratha and rajma. Service was quite good too. However they seem to have a problem with disposing of garbage from the premises and it seems to just get thrown over the back wall. The management/owners need to put a better waste management system in place to keep the beautiful Kumaon still beautiful. Have given 1 star because of garbage issue, if they resolve this I am happy to revise this. Swachh Bharat.

I have revised my review from 1 star to 4 stars based on your reply. However I feel you need to join with your waste management company and the other business owners around you so that solve this environmental problem as if everyone blames everyone else then nothing gets done. This looks bad for your business so better to team up and clean it up. Keep India beautiful.
We had mutton momos, keema and roti. Economical and tasty food. Would recommend.
