Being A Food Lover And a Person in Constant Search for new arenas of Something new. I apparently Came to know about Kerala kitchen from my Uncle. I had, Kappa, appam and meen Curry. Just so homely and delicious. This made me come to this place very often all these 2 years. Just a negative was The Staffs needs to be a little more Proactive When a customer Steps in.
Must try foodies. I have been having food from here for the past 4years. Their Appam is something special you will comeback for. Only drawback is the space but considering the live food they are preparing it's more than enough.
An amazing place for delicious yummy home-made food. The seating is the only issue in this cute cozy homely place. They prepare and serve food right in front of you. They serve the most amazing appam and make the curries according to your taste preferences. Kappa and puttu too are another speciality of kerala kitchen.
There's this special ginger tea which is served here, which is one of the best I have had in cochin, and when it rains and you get to have it, it's an experience.
Must-go-atleast once place, for then, you are sure to keep visiting.
Very nice homely food. Don't go by the looks. Items to be tried out; Beef and Appam! Also try the combination of Puttu and Fish curry. Many people come here to take the parcels. Understandable with the limited seating space. And they don't have any menu too. Never mind, you can literally chose the dishes from the kitchen!
Homely food m affordable price loved the food try the lime juice it's awesome and the food tooo better suited for take away but overall the food tastes yum...
It very good and fantastic to dine there and had a very good time there with my friends. Staff's attitude towards customer is excellent and need to appreciated.

This is the place for yummy home made style food at affordable price. Neat n clean. Freshly made food. Small restaurant may accomodate 12 to 15 people.
4 table restaurant serving Homely Food near Aluva Metro Station Exit ... Chicken Biriyani was good enough ... Chicken was served separately...Simple kerala style preparation with gravy ...though spicy it goes well with rice ...

Amazing place to have local food. Porotta beef, Appam, kappa , Chappathi, fish curry etc. the place is near the bus stop. Lose to Aluva Seema’s textiles. It’s a small shop but has enough seating capacity for 15 plus people. They have an open kitchen which is a delight to eyes . The men are good at preparing the dishes. I tried porotta ,beef , appam & kappa . All were tasty and good . Finally we ordered chai which was also tasty and nice. The entire bill for 3 of us came to 250/-. Awesome place to enjoy local food .
It's a big thumbs up.... Was searching for restaurant to taste typical Kerala s fish curry and v found this in Aluva...we were given fish curry and tapioca to taste before we ordered for a take away... Such polite staff... A must try
Kerala kitchen is a guaranteed place for having great home made food. Duck roast is one of the fabulous food one can ask for. Mr Roshan an young Entrepreneur is an excellent host who is very passionate in serving the right and best food for people. Rates are normal and another great dish is their Kappa Biriyani with lime and puthina tea. It's located in by pass Aluva very close to Metro station. Highly recommended.
Truly a delight to find authentic Kerala food in Rome. Enjoyed it immensely and had a bit of spice for sure and very reasonably priced.

The food is nice there, Nice in sense I even forgot to take a picture of it. Its more like a home made food without any added ingredients like agino motto or any colors so its healthy & very tasty even. I had appam & beef & also kappa - it was nice. Even the owner is very friendly & very welcoming. Only thing is the spot - spot is not easy for the first timers & there is no possible way of knowing about this shop from any means rather than by friends reference. But once you come to know about it - you are gonna come again. So try it 😊

A cash only restaurant (when I wrote this), located at the Aluva Ernakulam Highway is a place to be if you're looking for a nice and clean homely food.
A full AC restaurant with limited menu and seating capacity has a live kitchen with almost all the items made instantaneously after you order.
I'm a vegetarian, so have only eaten vegetarian food from there. It was spicy and good at an affordable price. There was more options in non-vegetarian foods, and from what my friends say was really good and fresh.
The attitude of the people working there (only 3 or 4) is very nice and friendly. Any customisation on the food ordered are made possible by them. And they take special interest in making sure that we get what we desire.
A TV is present in the restaurant and serves as the sole entertainment of the restaurant.
Ice cream options are available with Amul Ice cream.
Do try special Lime juice there. It is really good and special.
The only constraint here is the spacing. Inside the restaurant only a maximum of 10 people can be accommodated at a time. Even though one table has been set outside, only 2 people can stay there. Also since there are about 3 to 4 staffs at time including the cooks, there is significant delay in getting the food ordered if there are more people.
Overall this is an ideal and best place to be, if you're looking for homely food and a quiet place.
Delicious food. Space is very small. Tables are very close to the kitchen. In a way it's good - you can see what goes into the food. Great to eat but not a place to relax and hang out.
