Great Food and extremely friendly staff. The Dal Baati Churma thali was wonderful and the taste was out of the world.
The owner takes out his time to explain the dishes and how it is made. A must visit if you're looking for traditional Rajsthani food.

Chokha Amer is one of those places that you have to go and have a nice food. I’m a meat lover. Normally I don’t eat vegetarian food but now I’m planning on an update for my belly. Food here is amazing. Very well prepared and the staff is increíble. They will teach you exactly what you’re going to have and how you can eat this food properly. There is a room with A/C that I love and if you’re not interest in that you have another room without A/C. If you’re willing to have a nice meal. Just come and check yourself

I am sharing this bit late but let me tell you one thing 'Dal Bati Churma' here is to die for. One thing I loved about this place is the simplicity of food, nothing too fancy or too decorative their food speaks for them. Best Dal Bati Churma I had in Jaipur was here, freshly made bati and dal with ghee (clarified butter). Service is quick and with good suggestions, because of them I tried 'mava bati' which was unique and damn tasty. Ambience wise its not too classy but its what you'll see in place like Rajasthan, it has some let-back feel to it. They do have AC room but who needs it when you can put tables in lawn and admire then view of Amer Fort with amazing food.

Delicious food and friendly staff. Located few minutes from Amber fort. Daal bati churma of this restaurant is must try. The thing I liked about the restaurant is the staff explained how daal baati churma was made and what are the ingredients present in it. Enjoyed the local food in Jaipur.

So it was suggetsug by our tour guide, we went there. We didn't go there just to have food but we also wanted to know how they make it. Their restaurant manager Amit gave us detailed information about the famous Rajasthani food Daal Baati churma, he told us about the different types of baati and churma. He told us in detail how they make and cook baati. After having a good conveeconver with Amit, we order the restaurant's special Rajasthani thali. Me and my friend was so hungry that the moment that thali came we started for finishing it without any fail. So the thali was consist of different elements. It had three types of baatis namely sada baati, Mawa bati and masala baati, along with baati there were two types of churmas, famous Rajasthani gatte Ki sabzi, daal, chapati, steamed rice, Rajasthani garlic chutney and glass of chaach (butter milt). Now I'll tell you how was it one by one . Starting with baatis saada baati really good crisp outside soft inside, Mawa baati was like a sweet ball, thought from outside but when you take a bite of it the flavours which were stuffed inside that baati oozes into your mouth but my favourite one was masala baati, like other baatis it was also tough outside but the blend of flovours which are waiting for you inside is the best part of masala baati. Now coming to daal, daal was really tasty and was complementing baati really well. Gatte ki sabzi was perfect, it had correct amount of sourness, spicesness and all the flovours were just perfect. Churmas they served were of two kinds one was normal Churma made from normal flour and the other one was made from besan (gram flour) they were full of flovours and the good thing was that they were not too sweet. About garlic chutney, it was like a star which is present beside the moon of Eid. It was fitting very well among all the flovours present in the thali. Chapati they served was lean and ghee was floating over it. Chaach was kinda relief from the hot sunrays. So to summarise our experience, if you're visiting Amber Fort then you must visit this restaurant to taste the flavours of Rajasthan. I would like to thank restaurant staff for such a good hospitality and food.😀

Awesome food. Very very friendly staff. The Dal Bhati Churma platter was out of this world. We also had the mix chapati. It's not a chapati, but in butter it tasted great. The Dal and Gatte ki Sabji was again too good. I am a staunch non-veg but believe me I didn't miss non-veg. Clean and tidy place. They are new and I sincerely hope they keep up this good work.

Found this place after a long morning siteseeing. Their Rajasthani Thali was really interesting and very delicious. All of the staff and the manger were really helpful explaining how to mix the sweet dishes with the dal etc. I stupidly left my purse behind in the garden and they kept it safe for me till I returned. Thank you so much!

We really enjoyed the Rajisthani thali. Both the dal bati churma and the gatta ki sabji were delicious. It's near Amer Palace and worth stopping by if you're in the area. Staff was courteous and helpful - made sure to explain the dishes and how they go together. Seemed like a clean and looked-after place.

If I’m visiting home it is must to have Dal Baati Churma. Usually I have that at home but this time I visited the restaurant. The food was so sumptuous the baati was literally melting in mouth, the churma was up to the mark. It was like cooked at home. If have been to so many places but this the best Rajasthani thali in terms of budget, variety and most important taste.

Tucked in close to the Amer Palace and fort, this restaurant promises a tasty treat of local Rajasthani food that one must try. The thali (Platter) comes with a variety of dishes which the person who served us was kind enough to explain. Definitely a must visit either on your way to or from Amer Palace.
