This was the second time that I visited the place. Like last time I was about to catch train back to Delhi and the owner and staff was prudent to pack thier delicacies Butter Chicken, Fish Fry, KFC Chicken, Chicken Malli Tikka all this in flat 15 minutes. Also do try thier special drink LMG.
Speaking about food and taste this is one place u cannot afford to give a miss.
Wonderful experience that they remembered my name and also last review posted by my family. They were so welcoming that they wanted to drop me to station so I don't miss my train.
If u compare to taste and welcome I must say great things come in small packages and Charming Chicken is one great place.
Its a must for every non-veg lover to be at this place Everytime you visit Amritsar and have craving for 100% Punjabi non veg.
Not only the owner his younger brother and even the Staff are very over welcoming and caring.

The best butter chicken I ever had. We had butter chicken and crispy fried chicken. Both the dishes were phenomenal. My sister does not like butter chicken at all, however, post having it from Charming Chicken, she loved it. The hospitality of the owner and the staff is really commendable.

One of the best butter chicken I have ever had until. Rocking unbeatble fish fry. Paneer actually meets in your mouth.. you don’t need to chew it. And they pour so love in making and serving and asking food that the taste multifolds. A tiny place and didn’t expect this at all when saw it from outside. So don’t go on the looks. Excellent laccha prantha too..
A must visit resto if you are in Amritsar ! Last week we, a group of seven, visited Charming Chicken for dinner. It turned out to be a little gem in the heart of Amritsar. Exceptionally sumptuous food, each recipe of every dish, had subtle flavours without the spices being overpowering. The Tandoori Chicken and the Amritsari fish were outstanding as also the butter chicken. Oh yes, can't forget the red chutney whose recipe the owner, the ever smiling, Amarjeet Singh keeps a well guarded secret. He and his helpful staff took immense personal care of all the guests. Charming Chicken has to be a MUST for any one visiting Amritsar.

Malai chicken: I never had such delicious malai chicken in Mumbai , so if you visit this restaurant do try this amazing dish😋
Butter chicken: this butter chicken was spicy and masaladar with smokey flavour of tandoori chicken tossed in buttery gravy ♥️ , this butter chicken is really satisfying.
Garlic naan: this garlic naan was so delicious that you don't need any side dish to eat it but still it goes well with butter chicken
My overall experience was really amazing and next time when I will visit Amritsar I'll make sure to eat here again

Food was awesome. Best was Chicken Malai Tikka and Kadhai Chicken , Gulab Jamuns were soft and tender. LMG = Lemon Mint Ginger mocktail was unique in the menu. We were so hungry that we didnt take pics of many dishes. The hospitality was top notch. Must visit place.
Hands down the BEST FRIED CHICKEN I’ve ever had. The staff is so polite and hospitable. And the owner who is the most amazing chef, made us try so many delicious items. The visit was totally worth it. Do make a visit if you are ever in Amritsar. You will not regret it!

I would say my experience was WOW (wonderful and over whelming). So I ordered Amritsari Fish Fry, Chicken Malai Tikka, Butter Chicken with Plain roti and in drinks order Fresh lime soda and LMG. 5 star to each and everything I mentioned. The place is small but the heart of the staff is quite big. They are very friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended for all Non veg lovers.

I am usually very difficult to please but this place is 🥰 the food is just top notch. Amazing complex flavours and very very hospitable staff. Just imagine this. We asked for the gravy to be extra spicy. They actually brought out a test run for us to taste and let them know if we liked it. You cannot ask for anything better. FYI, they have a special on demand veg menu.

Excellent taste butter chicken is out of world butter nan is very soft and garlic nan in different taste better than domme garlic bread. The sweet dish small resggulla was very soft and delicious. The owner was very helpful in advising the dishes. Highly recommend this place for non veg foodies

The best butter chicken I have ever had.. And I have had quite a few now from places all around. The malai tikka was beautifully creamy and had an awesome rustic flavour but in all honesty the chicken could have been a bit more soft in this one.
But just the butter chicken is enough to give it all the stars I could.

This place was on my list from Delhi itself and also happened to be our last meal here and probably one the best meals I've had in a long time.

Their chicken malai tikka is incredible, I'll really be missing this.
Tandoori chicken is great
But their butter chicken preparation is what makes this place unique and famous.
Would recommend you to go and try it boneless. The dish is prepared in such a way that you can taste the meat in the curry like both the things are one.
Ended a wonderful meal with their special rasgullas and should I encourage you to not miss this because they are as soft as it can get. I bet you'll want to have more than just 1:)

Chicken Malai tikka was indeed delicious enough taste.crispy chicken is much better than kfc also tandoori chicken with butter so soft.butter chicken boneless was wonderful soft and delicated. The green chutney and red sause was mesmerizing.garlic naan was superb in taste. Mr.Amarjeet Singh is crazy chef and I believe those guys will go a long way. Amazing services and amazing hospitality.

Fantastic place. I wanted to try Butter Chicken and this is just the perfect place for it. We were given plates and bowls sealed in plastic, just the perfect start to our dinner. The butter chicken is amazing, the service is fantastic. The owner himself comes and checks on how the food and experience is. They serve Delicious veg food as well. A place where you can relax and keep your worries (regarding purity of food) away. These people are so professional in their work that the selection of raw materials is done by the main owner and even the salad is chosen by him from the market. Regarding the non-veg, it seems the only place in the city where you can rest assure that you are being served the best. The best dishes include chilly chicken, tandoori chicken, fish fry, butter chicken and so on.... They r really awesome and true to their Moto 'First faith then taste'. Awesome. Hats off.

First of all Simran the owner of charming chicken is such a down to earth person & was so humble & Nice. Food was of another level paradise for a non-veg lover 😉. We tried Lime soda , Amritsari Fish Fry , crispy Fry chicken , paneer tikka , butter chicken & Naan all were tasty 😋 . I will give infinity ♾️ / 100 out of 10 :)

This place is crowded for both, take out as well as dine in. The restaurant dons various certificates and awards it has won over the years.
We ordered 1) Crispy chicken, 2) Butter chicken, 3) Garlic nan - 3, 4) Soft drinks - 2. The total bill came up to INR 1350/-

We visited this place on 26th November 2022, it was just fabulous. We had Amritsari fish which was just mind blowing it was fresh properly fried with some spicy masala sprinkled, it was so good that we repeated the order. Then we had chicken malai tikka which had a creamy sause dipped with malai tikkas. We also had Chicken tandoori which was perfectly cooked with some juicy spicy chicken. In the main course we had butter chicken which was good just it had a lot of elaichi in it otherwise it was good. The rasgulla was just out of the world, I have never tried such amazing rasgulla anywhere else, it just melts in your mouth, truly a worth try. Overall a very good experience and I would recommend it for all the non veg lovers visiting Amritsar...

We wanted to have the best chicken in Amritsar and we followed a list by doing our own little research. Charming chicken was on our list for their fried chicken. We had already had a small meal at another popular place which had lot more reviews than charming chicken. Little did we not know that the owner at charming chicken is so down to earth and a true food lover. After having the tasty charming chicken, paaji himself came and gave us tasting portions of butter chicken and chicken malai and also delicious Rosogolla. We decided to come next day without having breakfast so we could eat as much as we could
We came back next day at 1pm and ordered Butter chicken, malai chicken, fried fish(this was out of the world) a small portion of tandoori chicken and one of us is vegetarian so paaji gave us the amazing sarson ka saag with delicious makki di roti. Omg this was the best meal we ever had. Paaji will feed you as if you're his family and you can't say no to that. Loved the hospitality by not only paaji but everyone at the restaurant. You should try their amazing red sauce which is not made of tamarind. Please also try the special red masala(you'll have to ask it separately) with charming chicken.
To end things we ordered a side of the tasty rossogulla which just melts in your mouth. It was so delicious that we ordered 5 more. The food made here is made by utmost love and I would say this is once in life time experience if you're ever in Amritsar.

We enjoyed the butter chicken. My husband and I ordered “half” butter chicken but the quantity is huge! We ate and still had some leftovers to take with us. To our liking, it was NOT sweet at all! We double checked with the waiter and he said that their butter chicken is not at all sweet and it was recommended by him. We were not disappointed.
Shoutout to the chef - he went around the entire restaurant to ask everyone their feedback. He was very pleasant and down to earth and speaking to everyone with a smiling face! Glad to see that!
