The most hygienic outlet for authentic lassi & kadhai milk. Loved it.🤩
I am a huge fan of Lassi, and that too if its in a big fat steel punjabi glass! Ill try it at any price. Same is it at this place. If someone asks me where can i get bestest Lassi in the whole world? Ill definitely recommend this place to them. Kesar Lassi over here is just mindblowing, i bet you wont get such an awesome Lassi anywhere else. Do try phirni too, its just heaven.
Best lassi I have ever tried till date. It is so smooth and creamy that I cannot express I words. Service is quick and it is pocket friendly!
Decent kesar lassi and pirni.
I came from Delhi and have heard the name of shop from one of my friend. When I tried this lassi I understood why he mentioned. Kesari lassi was just awesome
More thick malai layers needed for improvement of Lassi. product is very useful in these days. I recommend it .For home delivery more cooling done and should be in mini potable freezer.
Ghevar is a perfect indian sweet for get-togethers, house parties and festivals so this raksha bandhan I ordered ghevar for my brother.
It is sure to melt in your mouth and will be loved by people of all age groups. So if you are craving for something sweet and soul-satiating, then this easy Rajasthani sweet will surely impress your loved ones.
We tried every famous place for lassi in Amritsar including the Gian di lassi but this place is definitely holds the crown for best lassi in Amritsar.
We tried all three flavours served the Kesar, Mango & plain lassi & we would recommend their wonderfully delicious "Kesar Lassi".
Ahuja milk Bhandar is famous for lassi in Amritsar.
Lassi is such a drink of Punjab that is welcome anytime . And if in case it is added with affection & love it never fails .. .. here one big glass of lassi makes my day .
Stainless steel big glass of Lassi malai maar k ... loved by everyone ❤️❤️
They also deal in Sweet Shop, bakery products etc .
There is always some customers standing in front of the shop to take lassi or curd .
Phirni is also one of their good product & Masala panner is my favourite ❤️❤️
Punjab di Shaan — Lassi 👍👍
Morning, afternoon, evening or night i can drink there lassi anytime.
I tried their regular lassi and their mango lassi
Both were tasteful and also the comfort that they provide with their food packaging and serving is top notch
Mango lassi was presented in a plastic glass and i was feeling like i am drinking lassi from a foreign food chain restaurant and that was amazing...
I don't eat malai but in the lassi i can eat a lot...
Lassi with butter and malai was so awesome but also heavy so consume on your own risk cause it can make you wanna sleep lol
The best kesar lassi I have had ever. It is in a quaint side street and not really easy to find but once you get there it is pure bliss. Worth every step. The firms is the other gem found there and we loved it as much.
Summers driving you crazy? Do you want an escape from the sweat and Sun ? dont know wat to do ? wanna feel refreshed and cool ? 😍
Go for AHUJA lassi in amritsar near Hathi gate

This is a must to go place I tried kesari sweet lassi and sweet lassi. It was great and I can assure all the menu items are..!!
one of the best soya milk panner(tofu) , mango and regular lassi.
The quality and taste is par excellence and they have maintained it from years.
Very good experience
Will recommend others too. The taste was very nice and sugar was perfectly matched. Will like to try other stuff also from the restro
If you are in Amritsar, you need to try Kesar Lassi at @ahujalassi

One of the best lassi i’ve ever had . This was my second trip to Amritsar but tried Their lassi for the first time and no words to explain how amazingly delicious😋😋 it was . Topped with full malai it is like heaven. Never miss this place whenever you are in Amritsar. One glass of Lassi is enough to satisfy your soul.♥️♥️
The best phirni I've ever tasted. The subtle taste of dry fruits in there and the creaminess of the phirni is something to die for... A must visit if you are in town.
Recently visited Amritsar and asked many people for the famous Lassi shop and end up getting Ahuja Di Lassi. I found this place overhyped and lassi was good but didn't match up to the expectations. We easily get this type of lassi in Delhi NCR too. What I liked about this place is that they are offering varieties of butter milk. Mango , kesar and many more. I had Mango lassi. LOVED IT ❤
A must visit place for lassi in amritsar. The delectable lassi is just done right with the thick malai on top, the additional white makhan can be avoided though. Apart from the famous lassi they have other sweets and variety of paneer to offer. Definitely worth a try.
I had my first Lassi experience of Amritsar at Ahuja Milk Bhandar! Words are not enough to describe how filling and yummy the lassi tasted.
Must visit place in Amritsar for all LASSI LOVERS! ❤
This is a buzz place in Amritsar when it comes to Lassi fans visiting the city, so this we too decide to visit the same and give it a try...
Not much to write about the place as we only tried the main product Meethi Lassi and it was no disappointment.
Butter on top and thick textured Lassi was a delight to have but the only reason probably to rate it 4/5 and not 5/5 is because I expected better presentation and also better hygiene out of this place because of such fame attached to it.
I have had equally good Lassi in Delhi too so won’t be much interested in paying another visit when in city.
The best ever lassi you can have, anywhere in the world. Truly legendary. The thick layer of malai does the trick, i believe. Reasonable prices, quick service. Highly recommended.
OH MY GOD. The very best Kesar Lassi I have ever had! It’s a meal in itself. Have one for breakfast. It will make your day! YUM. Costed Rs. 55/- on 18th Dec 2018. Worth every penny. I went back the next day to have one more. Don’t miss this if you’re in Amritsar :)
Generations old place, having good variety of sweets.
Famous for their lassi with a dollop of butter and malai on top. Must visit place in amritsar.
After reading the reviews in zomato went to have the famous lassi. It is a steal at 40 rupees. The malai on top adds to its thickness. Will surely visit again to try the other offerings.
Great experience to have this perfect lassi with perfect sugar in it. Good amount of cream toppings, i would have loved it if it was more. A little unhygienic serving. One star less for that.
Bestest lassi in Amritsar at this old age but not so old now, sweet shop at hathi gate. Mango and kesar lassi is what we highly recommend to try. Layer of thick cream on the top makes your soul savor it more! Other than that you can try there soy milk which is a good option for vegans!
This is one of the best restaurant in Amritsar to visit.. you should visit this place after havi dinner from any dhaba
It's milk products are best beyond compare. every person visiting Amritsar should keep this in checklist.
Their classic lassi was yum. The place is clean and basic. The lassi was not too sweet and can happily become a meal in itself. I didn't eat anything but seeing the number of people at the shop. I seem to believe they are doing well!
Terrific lassi. Not overly sweet. Topped with loads of malai and white makkhan. They had some other interesting things such as mango dahi but we were too full to try it. Must visit place.
Loved the lassi, it was really tasty and fulfilling.
Place live up to its name.
The malai they add in it, makes it different from other places.
A great place for Lassi their Kesar Lassi that is to die for go and enjoy their amazing Lassi and you will fell in love with it. A good consistency of Curd and Malai on top of it and Ahuja Rocks . It's just opposite Hindu College .
Absolutely delightful Phirni of Amritsar.
Must try. Given in Kulhad Pots, nice and moderately sweet. No comparison with any other place.
Also go for their lassi. Heavy and tasty !
A food tourism spot of Amritsar.
Amazing lassi... sweet and thandi thandi ... one perfect way to beat the heat.. had two in a row because one didn’t satiate my thirst... a must do when in Amritsar. Will visit you over and over again, just for the love of what you do, for decades now!!
Now after trying lassi at almost all famous places in north india, i went to Ahuja lassi for a short stop. I had their signature lassi which is covered with thick layer of malai(cream). Lassi was perfectly sweetened and consistency was just great.
I can say this is by far the best lassi i ever had.
Highly recommended
well if u come to amritsar n dnt have lassi here.. then ur trip was nt complete or rather say not worth it.. it was so refreshing that i had to come twice, same day itself to grab a glass!!
one of the bst lassi i had in my lyf! cha gaye guru!! burra!!
ps (the closing hours is nt mentioned ... this place usually closes arnd 10:30)
The lassi here is famous, and it did not disappoint me one bit. Thick, sweet and rich, it had me slurping. There is no seating here, but there's ample space to stand around the shop.
If u go to Amritsar and not have Lassi in any one of d famous places, then ur trip is incomplete for sure. Almost all d famous places in Amritsar are located in d numerous by-lanes. But they r so famous that any body would guide u. After a tiring afternoon,we went here to have thandi thandi Lassi. They r famous for two things - Kesar Lassi and Phirni. Don't try both together,u wouldn't enjoy it. I had d Lassi, creamy, right sweetness, it's topped with makhan n Malai, I opted for no makhan, yet it was super delicious. One glass is equal to a meal. One glass of rich, creamy, delicious Lassi will keep you satisfied for a few hours. My husband had d Phirni, that was delicious too, creamy, cold rice pudding. Easy on d pocket, everything is made fresh right in front of ur eyes. Only problem was d mosquitoes all around.
Hey fellow foodies !! I had been to Amritsar recently.I feel that if you have gone to Amritsar and come back without trying their famous lassi then your trip is incomplete. So went to this shop to try some yummy lassi and I was not dissapointed.
I tried their KESARI LASSI which is their specialty . It costed me 55 Rs for one full glass. Believe me the quantity and quality are both top notch. One of the famous reviewers has suggested that the lassi is like a local anaesthetic agent and I found it to be quite true . You feel so content and sleepy after finishing the full glass.
Warning : You can't finish the whole glass after heavy lunch or breakfast ,you need to have some space in your stomach to finish this big glass.
FINAL VERDICT : Lassi hai to aisi. Dil kush !!
Enjoyed their famous lassi. Will recommend this for a quick snack in between meals! A warning though - finishing full glass by self won't be possible on a non empty stomach
I would say it is a dairy, but you can find one of the most authentic lassi in the town. It is thick and with wholesome cream which gives it a best lassi tag in Amritsar.
We were told they serve one of the best lassi.
It's true, but the consistency could have been a little better.
The best part was the sweetness and luckily they were open around 11 when almost every other sweet shop was closed.
It's not very far from jalialwala bagh and the service is good and friendly.
Value for money (absolutely)
Will be back for trying more.
Absolutely stunning is the word..!
Being a South Indian I've never laid my hands on such a lassi ever in my life. This place introduced me to how exactly a lassi should be. This may not be the best out there, but for people from South like me it's an absolute treat
A huge glass of thick lassi topped with malai and butter, I asked for their famous kesar lassi. Filling enough for one person, a perfect way to end your meal.
One of the must try places in Amritsar, worth the price. It's a crime not having lassi when one is in Punjab..!
Lassi and Amritsar go hand in hand. So what better place than Ahuja to try the famous lassi?
Super thick lassi topped with rich cream which melts in your mouth to give the perfect end to any meal!
The lassi was not overly sweet, just how I like it!
Definitely a must try when in Amritsar!
I had written many reviews but for this place I can say or I should say just
The only place for really Super Lassi. Malai chunks in Lassi was giving so heavenly fill in mouth and one glass is all enough for your one time meal.
One must Visit this place if in Amritsir.
Lassi yummiest and soo filling makkhan marke 😋 lassi.must vist place for lassi lovers.we had kesar lassi and must say 😋
Lassi 5/5
Lassi pe makkhan 5/5
Ambiance 5/5
Service 5/5
Had heard a lot about this place and decided to try it out just before leaving for the airport...And I am glad I did....The lassi was thick, not too sweet and had a generous topping of cream.
If lassi is what you are craving for then this is the place to head while in Amritsar. Absolutely delicious lassi and milk varieties that you just can’t stop at one! Food coma, literally!
Late afternoon,we reach here to have their lassi which is quite famous,as I m told.
May be by 3.30 we are here and their Kesar lassi is nearly out of stock by this time.
Out of the order of 15 kesar lassi,we get only 10 and then we had to settle with regular one.
I got a hand on Kesar one.loaded with dollops of cream and malai, which I m not fond of,someone helped me get rid of it and then the rest lassi which I had was yummmmm.
Had a good lassi in a long time ever.
Must go place on visit to Amritsar.
Better to have it before going to hotel for a nap as after having this Patiala glass, you won't b able to go or think to go elsewhere.
After all the hype on social media and from some food critics I've finally visit the Ahuja milk center and Indeed yeah I would say this is the best Lassi I ever had.
The most genuine taste and quality in dairy products that I have ever come across. I saw guys having bowl of curd eating outside the shop and so did I tried the same.I was overwhelmed with the sweetness of curd and the genunity. I tried lassi and that was good too.
It's a bit difficult to locate but Google map will be your guide. Delicious, mouthwatering lassi with generous malai to top up the glass. Thats all you want, isn't it?
We had sweet lassi which was very tasty and fresh. The place is a bit out of the way and far off from Golden Temple however the place is a must go for lassi!
Been to Amritsar for the first time. We hear a lot of things about the famous lassi while we grow up. And that too having it in Amritsar is some different feeling all together.
A fresh, sweet, heavy and mind blowing lassi awaits you at the ahuja milk bhandar. Huge chunk of malai on top. It is so tasty and heavy that even if you share one glass with two others, you would be immensely satisfied.
I had a full glass of lassi here in the morning, and even after 12 hrs of having it, I wasn't hungry. This had never happened before in my whole life. Amazing experience.
If you visit Amritsar, add this place to your check list. It's worth the visit.
Thandi Lassi aur phirni... Mind blowing, you shall get a brain splash after drinking their fresh, enriched butter on top Lassi. I never had a better lassi ever in my life. If in Amritsar, please its a request, visit them and have their sweet lassi and phirni.
Though it looks like a very normal bakery and dairy shop but they are best in town. They have token system here.
I love their Lassi and am sure anybody who visits Ahuja lassi, one shall become their life long customer.
'The Best' place to have lassi in Amritsar.❤
I had the salty lassi and must say that I was almost full after having half of it. The quantity and quality are both upto the mark.
Apart from lassi and other milk products they also serve yummmy savouries, cakes, pastries and other bakery items at a very reasonable price...
Also the sweets were just perfect. Must say that the place is very well handled by the manager.
Surely visiting this place the next time I'm in Amritsar.
PS: Was running late so couldn't click any photos...
Yes! I did go to Ahujas and did have their world famous Lassi. We also picked up a couple of salty savouries. Sadly I lost my phone in Amritsar and so I can't upload any photos.
This place shouldn't be missed if you visit Amritsar.
Best thing to have in amritsar in hot summers is lassi, lassi can be found at every corner of the city. A glass of lassi is enough to get your stomach filled and chilled. Ahuja's at hathi gate serves one of the best coolents in amritsar. You won't get a better glass of lassi around the city. A thick layer of malai is super tempting and with every sip, it will make you fall in love with the lassi.
A must try in amritsar ❤

Anytime you google things to eat in amritsar, phirni is always on the list. I tried it from a couple of places but I just loved the one I had at Ahuja sweets. Only a localite can tell you that this phirni beats every phirni served in town. The fragrance of saffron, the richness of nuts and just the right amount of sweet, this phirni was to die for. Loved it so much that I got a couple of them packed to for my journey back.
Had a very tasty n refresing sweet lassi at this outlet..... i hv never tried such a tasty butter milk in my life..... service was gud , taste was ausm n price was also very economical ..... its the best thg I had in amritsar ..... must gv it a try :) :)
Superb lassi and badam milk but the one thing that was out of the world was the special phirni. No words to describe it . Must visit place if you are in amritsar
Went to the place to have Lassi after reading so much good reviews on Zomato and highway on my plate list. This place is little difficult to find as it is suitated on very small and crowded Lane. The Lassi was good but not the best in amritsar I would say. Personally I liked kesar Da dhaba Lassi to be much better.
Just had their namkeen lassi and it was pretty good... Nothing out of the world but still worth trying and even coming again... The malaibtikka above the lassi is simply yummy though it might not be liked by everyone
Great place - best of lassi I have drunk so far. Only challenge is calorie management but a must place if you are visiting Amritsar. I tried Kesar lassi and it was fun.
The sole reason behind my visit here was it was featured in "Highway on my plate" and was strongly recommended in it. So, after a hearty lunch we headed to this sweet place. There are two variants in Lassi: Regular and Kesar. We ordered four regular Lassi and handful of Jalebis to go with it. Lassi was heaven in a glass: thick, creamy, not overly sweet and perfect in quantity. Jalebis were crisp and yummy. The person at the counter was very polite and courteous and the way he treated us with "puttar" salutation gave a very homely feeling to the whole experience. Just one suggestion: Pls serve lassi in Kulhads to revive the real charm of this desi healthy drink.
Food: 🌝🌝🌝🌝🌜
Ambience:🌝🌝
Service: 🌝🌝🌝🌜

The best part of the Ambarsari trip, Ahuja Lassi. This is claimed to be the best lassi in the country, and very rightly so. The Kesari lassi is the staircase to heaven. Being a punjabi, we don't know how do anything in moderation and it shows in the amount to kesar the kesari lassi has. You can smell it from far far away.
And not just the lassi, people come to eat dahi in a bowl at this place. I guess thats the reason Ambarsariyas can handle so much rich food, since they eat both good and not so good food for health.
The lassi is thick with a huge amount of malai on top. Simply awesome. Though people says it huge, and you cant drink the whole thing. I just want to say, I had two. So can an average person with a light stomach.
Must visit if you are around.
Cheers!!!
Awesome taste of lassi and specialty in bhugga. I am based in Delhi but I never miss a chance to get bhugga if any of my known is coming to Delhi
Had lassi at Ahuja Milk Bhandar. Lassi was good and the best part is, it is not very sweet. :)
More malai could have made it mazedar !!!! :D
This place is lassi heaven! I loved their Kesar lassi which comes with a huge dollop of malai and is literally a meal in itself. The best part is it isn't annoyingly sweet. They have this thing called flavored paneer which is spiced with herbs and condiments and is so fresh that you can eat it plain. They sprinkle it with chaat masala and serve it absolutely fresh. Their pedas and milk sweets are nice too. A must try if you're in Amritsar.
I can go to Amritsar again and again just to have his lassi and firni. There you go... nothing much to say. Super happy place for a foodie ☺
If you are sweet lover and specially lassi fan, you must visit this place. They make the best quality lassi. The taste which u will never forget. All other sweet items are also very good.
Heard so much about this place.. So today my first visit to amritsar I made it a must to try out this place, reached there at about 4ish in the evening and they were out of Lassi already, and they told me I would have to come around 6pm to have the Lassi, so I just waited around there for 2 hours, also while at the same time, watching people come and go from their shop, and then I finally got my Lassi and it was good.
For the people who love sweet Lassi, this one is a must.. But me, I'm not very fond of sweet Lassi but the salty one. So this was just good enough for me to at least give it a try once,i don't regret it. :)
I read about this place in the book "Highway on My Plate" and went there on my last visit to Amritsar. I headed down to Ahuja's Milk Bhandar on a hot summer morning in August last year to try it out and it surely was one of the best lassi that i had.
The lassi is really heavy so prepare yourself before handed for it. For some people, it can be a breakfast in itself.
The Ahuja Lassi is a big glass full of chilled and super thick lassi which has something that differentiates it from any other. The lassi is topped with malai and white homemade butter or makkhan as we say it, which is one of the most important parts of the meal in Punjab. The malai and the butter differentiates the lassi from all the other lassis that you will taste by giving a new flavor to it.
Overall, it is one unique and super heavy lassi which you would not find anywhere else and is a must try for a true food lover. But you will have to walk a lot after it.
Amazing is just one word how i can describe it
Awesome
The best lassi i have ever tried
Smooth chilled and fresh
100 points for it
Highly recommended
First Of all guys...This place is near Lohgarh.Proper place is named Dhab Khatika.
This place is absolute love of the Lassi Fans!
They will provide u lassi of different flavours.Ask for ur favorite one out of the choices.Glasses are really big,but after gulping u will surely love it.They also provide you another delicacy that is PHIRNI.U will love that too...And remaining they have many offerings which u can consume if u really have giant tummy...BTW they also have sweet shop adjoint to lassi shop!! Must Try Place
My review is just based on the lassi and let me tell you that they serve the best lassi in the world. If anybody contests my claim, I shall be surprised. The lassi is thick, creamy and cold and if you have it after a decent meal, it can serve the purpose of local anasthesia 😆 Give it a shot and you wont be disappointed !!
Follow me on Instagram @SPICEITUPWITHSAM
Visiting Punjab and not gulping down litres of Lassi from this place is a trip incomplete. Every single time I visit Amritsar (which I do every year!!), I definitely plan to somehow visit Ahuja. Cuz " ahujiya di lassi " is too mainstream! It the most happening place for Lassi's and Badam Milk( almond milk) and other dairy products.
A tall steel glass with thick and icy cold lassi topped with malai are their thing. Definitely the best in amritsar and most probably the entire country.
People if you haven't visited this place, what are u waiting for? Go, go, go!
Waiting for my next trip to their place.
Happy dining.
This place had been on my list ever since I had seen it's reviews on one of the most popular food shows.
I tried their milk badam, faluda kulfi..and Oh man!...it was super delicious. The perfect sweetness, ingredients and amazing taste.
Ambiance of this place is nothing as its a very old shop popular for Lassi and other milk products. But once I tried it's milk badam and kulfi..I became a diehard fan.
Milk badam was rich with dry fruits and was very creamy. The milk badam is also very filling and heavy.
It's a must try place for sure.
What does one associate with Punjabis/Sikhs and food, apart from Butter chicken? Well, the image that comes to mind is a set of men, drinking tall brass glasses of Lassi, in the middle of a village surrounded by vast greens. We have been fed this image, through movies, through popular culture, through our grandmothers berating us if we couldn't finish one glass of Lassi - 'Your grandpa used to drink thrice this amount in one go'!
ABOUT THE PLACE
------------------------------
Ahuja is known to offer one of the better Lassis in North India, and we couldn't possibly miss the chance to verify the claim. The outlet has various milk based products on offer, and thankfully, it looks quite hygienic. Although these people have started selling ‘Healthy Soy Lassi’ as well of late, the star attraction still remains the dairy version.
THE LASSI
------------------
We have been diluting the Lassi over the years by adding fruits, dry fruits and what not, but a simple, sweet lassi remains one of the most refreshing, satisfying and sleep inducing things ever.
That’s exactly what we went in for; The proper, full cream, sweet lassi. Absolutely wonderful, full bodied, thick, creamy, sweet and topped with a huge dollop of Malai, there is nothing that could possibly go wrong. Each sip cools not just the heart, but the soul !
You know the Lassi is good when there is a white moustache over your lips after you have downed a complete glass. Oh, and not to forget the anesthetic properties of a sweet lassi ;)
OVERALL VIEW
----------------------
A proud establishment, still going strong having maintained the quality of their offerings, that’s this outlet in a nutshell for you. Do gulp down a glass or two if looking for a nice afternoon nap!
Well its very simple to describe this place, it serves the Best lassi in country thick, chilled, perfectly sweetened along with dollops of malai. What else can you ask for?
Having lassi here made my Amritsar visit worth while..
The best lassi I've ever had. Second place I had lassi at in Amritsar just because I had heard about it from so many people. Totally worth a visit even if it's a bit hard to find. The taste, the consistency and the amount of makhan are heavenly
Bestest Lassi and mithaiwala in amritsar!! We had their phirni, and completely forgot about all the phirnis we had before that. Very fattening, but extremely good in taste, flavour, freshness and feeling!! Full marks!!
When in Punjab eat n drink as the punjabis do and how could we miss out the favourite lassi place of this gorgeous city....Ahuja. We went there hunting for the ideal lassi in all of Amritsar and we found it definitely living upto our expectations. Tried the regular lassi topped with a huge dollop of fresh cream. It was every bit worth the penny we paid for it. But somehow my favourite one turned out to be the mango lassi. This one just stole my heart. Simply thick, creamy n perfectly flavoured. I could go on n on drinking it. Wish to go back soon n gulp down some more soon. 👍
Can't say that they serve the best lassi in the world as there is always scope for improvement, but this deserves 4.5 surely. Clean place, no sitting required. Their sweets are very good also. Highly recommended.
The best lassi we have had across India. The lassi here is so simple and elegant, and the quality of the dairy shines through. The dahi with gud on top is also incredible. It's inside a street so it's best to park outside on the main road, on top of the wide footpath. You'll enjoy the company of the locals who patronize this iconic destination in the heart of Amritsar
Theeee most delicious lassis! The fresh dahi and it not being too sweet like most lassis I've tried! Definitely recommend the Mango and Kesar Lassi.
Some places doesn't require any reviews or ratings because they are beyond the benchmark. When talking about this place, it is one of them.
My first visit to this place in old street of Amritsar with paved roads at encountering this iconic shop, my taste buds pulled me to taste their fabulous Lassi.
Would recommend by heart to all for once to feel the taste of rightly chilled creamy lassi The Ahuja.
If compared with Gianee lassi and others, this place stands higher in ranking.
Though it is located a bit away from the main market but it is worth travelling here.
Ambience: it is a street side dairy shop, so there is no option of sitting, you have to either stand or use parked vehicles to your comfort and enjoy their deliciously smooth and we'll textured lassi.
Food/items: they sell multiple types of lassi ( they don't have mava lassi though) like mango, butter scotch etc. They also have flavoured milk and Sugar free lassi options too.
We tried Normal lassi (malai mar ke) sweetness was on the sweet spot, neither too sweet, nor bland, perfectly thick, smooth enough and we'll textured.
We also tried Firni, covered with silver foil and placed in the little flat kulhad Firni was justifying it's unique amritsari taste and style. A must visit in the Amritsar to satisfy your taste buds.
And yes, lassi quantity was good enough to skip a meal
Awesome taste. Must try their lassi 😍
Best sweet yummy Punjabi plain and kesar Lassi made of curd. Kesar @80/- Rs. Per glass
AN AMERICAN IN INDIA<3
I came to visit Amristar all the way from northeastern United States. As an American visiting a new country for the first time, I wanted to try the local hot spots for food. Everyone told me, and after I had seen it in an airline magazine too, to TRY AHUJA SWEETS! Famous for their freshest Lassi, they should be famous for so much more! Definitely a diamond in the rough, and deserves much more appreciation :)
Ahuja Sweets & Milk Bhandar was the ONLY restaurant I came to where my food was handed to me by someone wearing a GLOVE. Everywhere else, my food had been handed to me with someone's unclean hands. They invited me to see some of the preparation rooms, since I had come from 7,000 miles away, and my mind was blown at not only how clean it was but also how well they treated the employees.
A family company with VALUES! HIGH STANDARDS for CLEANLINESS and QUALITY!
They are famous for their Lassi, but I couldn't stop there. I had some of their snack sandwiches first, then had lunch, then took home 12 boxes of all of their incredible American AND Indian sweets!!!
Everyone in Amristar (or Batala, I stopped at that location as well because I liked it so much), MUST come for Lassi, lunch, sweets, and grab some stuff to take home for the family to love too! They even have an upstairs area where you can get Home Decor, Packaged sodas and candies, Bags and watches, and more!
I LOVE AHUJA SWEETS!
If you are in Amritsar you must try Lassi from Ahuja . They are very famous and known for Lassi in Amritsar. They also have their sweet shop next to Lassi Centre. Must try their chocolate barfi and Pattisa. Highly recommended to all the visitors.
Situated in narrow streets of Amritsar, Ahuja Lassi is a hidden gem to quench your thirst in hot summers.. Best quality thick lassi with Malai served chill as per your request. Must try place in Amritsar
Everything so good but you would wish they had a place to sit and gulp down these delicacies .
It’s one of the two popular hotspots for lassi, phirni and sweets. The first time is went they were out of lassi and phirni, with only badam milk available. I was asked to come in the evening post 6pm and I did so between 7-8pm. They were out of mango lassi so I tried the authentic one which comes with fresh Cream/malai. It’s good and definitely worth a visit. It’s roadside so parking can get tough if you have a car.
My car driver took me to this place saying its one of the oldest lassi shop.
The taste of the lassi was too good.
Add this place to your itinerary list.
Must go place for Lassi lovers .!
Lassi is great. Tried Phirni also which is very good. Will visit again.
The lassi is worth every penny!!
They also have a sweet shop adjacent to the lassi shop where once can get freshly prepared dairy sweets.
Best Lassi in Amritsar.. try kesar lassi
Tasty Lassi. Must try if we visit Amritsar. But there is no proper public transport to access this location.
This is very famous place in Amritsar for Paneer and different flavours of Lassi. Cost of one glass Lassi is Rs. 50. I had sweet lassi with green Chutney Paneer. Taste was very good and prices are very reasonable. The owner is very cooperative and down to earth. They also have other types of flavoured lassi, milk badam and masala paneer. You can try it as per your taste. Overall good experience.
