A great place with great taste and affordable prices. Brijwasi is always been my favourite good to go when I want to satisfy my hunger.
I visited Brijwasi Chat Bhandar with my two friends...there we ate golgappe... Papri chat....bun tikki....aloo tikki...dahi bhalla and bhel puri. Everything was quite good. And it's worth money to visit this place. Service was bit slow...but as we all know good things take time 😀so it was also worthy... overall i had nice experience ther.
Best shop in Amritsar!!! delicious!!
I ordered 4 bhalla papdi .bhalla papdi is very tasty. staff is very coprative and all staff members are good in nature
Good staff excellent service tasty food cheap loving it
Visited this place on a Monday. It wasn't much crowded but had its fair share of people.
The place definitely needs an upgrade in cleanliness. The tables were not cleaned and only after someone sat at the table was it cleaned.
Had their famous bun tikki served with both a sweet and spicy chutney. Bun tikki was crispy and had loads of ghee/oil in it but duriny winter it's always a good thing.
They also have other chaats there but didn't try them.
Overall, the food was excellent but needs an upgrade in cleanliness.
Since childhood, this has been the best evening snack ever. Be it the Bun Tikkis or the Chaat, its the real flavor of Punjab. Must visit for everyone visiting Amritsar.
Mouthwatering chat & delicious bun tikki @brijwasichat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yummiest Bun Tikki...with special Brijwasi Chatni ... tasty Bhalla papdi chat .., love it 😊
.
Today this shop on copper road is a landmark in itself .
Shop opens at noon & then till late evening they keep on making yummy plates of chat , tikki , buntikki, Golgappe, bhelpuri & serving it to customers. .
If you are fond of chat and chatpata food, this is the place for you
You must definitely visit this place and try out their chat
Aloo and papdi chat was the best
Perfect taste of chtapata chat
Must try
Thank you....
Yummy and tasty chaat, but there was no disposable plates, spoons with it.we were out of home so faced problems.packing also was not up to the standards.
The best Bun-tikkis ever had, but yes don’t forget to be there before 6pm! 😕
Also their papdi chat is an amazing treat for all the chat lovers!😋
Brijwasi chat, so delicious & low priced that we went there both days of our amritsar Trip.
I has visited this place with my sister and ordered allu chat bun tikki allu tikki and papidi chat and the food was osm and tasty and delicious too.
One word: LOVE
Whenever I am in Amritsar,Brijwasi's bun tikki and papdi chaat is a must! Fresh and hygienic. Amazing taste! Must visit. Bhel puri and Gol gappa are also good. So whenever you go to Amritsar, you know where to head for some yummy chaat!
Good options for some Chatpata tastes.. Quality is very good instead of price being fairly low as compared to any fancy outlets
Friends It's worth giving a try if you're in Amritsar while if you're short of time to visit famous Dhabas then you can order at hotel through Zomato..
One of the best and oldest places in Amritsar to enjoy tasty bun tikki, chat and bhel. Prepration is very good. Staff is good. Will recommend others too to try all this at least once.
This place will satisfy your chaat cravings like no other! Being bought up in Delhi I have had many kinds of chaats throughout my life, but the taste of tikki from this place is at another LEVEL! 👍
Every kind of chaat here was very satisfying, specially their bun TIKKI is very unique, crispy and all things LOVE! ❤
This place satisfies all my spicy chat cravings when I’m in the city. I have been eating their food since a while now and never have I ever fallen sick so they must be doing something right .
Love their chat and their bun tiki !! They serve in the car and are pretty efficient.
Nice taste. Mostly everything is good in taste i order tikki and chat and both taste very good. Nice staff u should had to taste it once well done
Well, its good to try some street food of different cities. I went to this place with my sister and had a papdi chaat and Aloo tikki. The papdi chaat was very good 👍. The Aloo tikki was very nice 👌. Small place but good quality of food is served at low prices and seating facility is also available. I would suggest everyone do visit this place.
When you are in town, don't forget to try this small chat joint ,right at the start of Bhandari Pull.
What makes it special in the city of Amritsar is it's Bun Tikki for sure. I am a big fan of its Bun Tikki as it amazingly crisp and the chutneys add superb flavour to it. It's more like an hot dog if one finds it difficult to understand Bun Tikki.
Ambiance is simple and nothing much to talk about.
The prices are reasonable and there is an extra 5₹ that's charged if packing is required.
Highly Recommended and a must try place in Amritsar!!
Best place for having traditional taste of Chat, Golgappe and Aloo ki tikki. All items are tasty and the best thing which I like most from their menu is Aloo ki tikki which they served with very yummy chutney.
The ambience and food service is good.I visted here with some of my friends. We ordered :-
Bun Tikki
Chaat papdi
The food was delicious.I drooled whenever I see it.You should try Bun Tikki Here.
I had gone there with my friends, I had the mix chat and the bun tikki and they were awesome. The best I ever had
The mix chat has a special masala in it which makes it very delicious.
I'd prefer this place for a great snacking joint in amritsar
Papri chat and allo tikki is so tasty. Only problem over there is car parking. They didn't have space for car parking. Quality and quantity is good
Brijwasi chat is my stop if I have to eat the chaat near Queens Road. The owner of the shop is so humble and will reslove your queries. The presentation of the food is amazing.
This is a great place to have chaat, they have great bun tikki and papri chaat. The taste of chaat here is very good, the service is good. The place is clean and the taste is just great
If you are in Amritsar and want to try some chaat and tikki, i would say look no further. This outlet is famous for its Tikki, chaat and Gol gappe. We tried the following items:
• Golgappe
• Bun Tikki
• Bhalla papdi
• Aloo Tikki
Each item was better than the previous one. My favourite was Bun tikki. Just love how they put a tikki in a bun and serve it with two chutneys. Must try. Total damage for all these was just 160 bucks. If you are in Amritsar, do pay a visit and you won't regret.
This is probably the best shop for chaat in amritsar! I specially visit this place to have the chaat.. Coz one can't find this in Delhi.. The taste is like super amaizng!! The bhala being so soft❤❤ and their special masala adds cherry to the cake.. A must visit place😍😍 also had tikki this time which was also super amazing!!!!!!
One of the best places in Amritsar , actually one of the best places in all of Punjab for Chat and Bun Tikki , no one can compare to their service which is really quick and effortless , also the dishes are well made and it isn't too heavy on the pocket too .
We had shortlisted a few places for our visit to Amritsar. This place was one of them. Located on d busy road near Urban Haath, it wasn't difficult to find. It was crowded. We found a place to sit inside, they have limited options on d menu. We ordered mix chat, tikki and kaanji.
Mix Chaat was Papdi, bhalla covered with curd, chutneys and Chaat Masala. It was a simple dish but tasted amazing, esp d taste of d masala that was sprinkled on d top.
Aloo Tikki was good. Crispy and tasty.
Kaanji- everyone sitting there was having it,I got curious n ordered it. Apparently it's a very popular drink in Amritsar. It's basically Pani Puri ka paani. It was spicy, tangy, delicious.
Do try wen in Amritsar, it's a different take on Chaats
We just checked-in in the hotel after a long tiring journey and we were damn hungry.
I quickly fired my Zomato app to find some eateries in the vincity when my attention went to this small eating joint.
It was within 300 metres of our hotel location and we quickly went there.
It was a small hotel where they were serving 3-4 Snacks, but the amazing sight of those Snacks would touch your foodie heart.
We ordered Bun tikki which was delicious and we enjoyed it to the core.
We also wanted to have Moong dal pakori but unfortunately it wasn't available.
This place is very pocket friendly, so do try it once you are in Amritsar!
Their Tikki is the best, followed by Papri Chaat. Being from Delhi I much prefer the sooji gol gappas in Delhi. Overall a reasonable experience. Service is outstanding.
Ordered papdi chat, dhai bhalla and golgappe. Papdi chat was perfect. Preparation for rest of items was okay ,nothing great. No space for parking around the area.
Awesome food ever tasted....chat buntikki tikki dahipuri awesome every thing....every thing has real taste of spices of india...must visit BRIJWASI CHAT...when ever yu come to amritsar
Decent place in Amritsar to half chaat and stuff. They have a small shop near crystal chowk with average seating. Best thing which I liked was Bun tikki, served hot it reminds me of gupta burgers. Next good thing was gol gappas, as pudina water was good. Bhalla papda was average.
Its amazing place , for foodies who want chatpata more thn anything . Best of them is sev puri and dahi puri . All of the items are best but if u want bestest thn go for sev puri or dahi puri
One of the best North Indian chats to have
Coming from Bangalore and exploring this city full of eateries was happy to visit Brij Wasi Chat.
Will come back next time for sure
Didn't expected that chat can be this good at Amritsar....tikki were super crispy and soft inside....was almost full when I reached this place but the tikkis deserved to be fully finished....
Awesome...... chat and aloo tiki. Best taste in North India. Price and quality both are at there best. In fact bun tiki is also one must try. Ask for open tiki that's more crunchy and full of taste
Best tikki in Amritsar I ever had Delhi is also fail to match the taste .all dishes are good service is also fast definitely visit when ur in Amritsar near end of queen road
The place which every age group is fan of. You can get a great crowd there at almost any time during the day.It has amazing golgappe and related stuff. Ambience is ok but the dishes are really very tasty. My suggestion: Try bun-tikki, golgappe, bhelpuri .They are amzing .
One of the best gol gappas in the city of Amritsar.Located near to queens road has many loyal customers and swear about the items sold here.U can try anything and I am sure you are going to love it.Service according to me was very guide even on busy Sunday evening.
Small eating joint in Amritsar but serve very tasty street food. Tried chat, aaloo tikki & golgappe. Awesome chutney served i belive made with Gur. 👌😀
Decent not bad ,a little overhyped. There chutneys are extra sweet so it was not to my liking though the Tikki was crispy hot. I'll tell you a gem of a hidden shop near Brijwasi .Don't climb the bridge for brijwasi but go under it ,in the bylane of the bridge there is a chat shop that serves mean Dahi bhallas and Papri chat ,bhelpuri too.Give that shop a try and thank me later.
The name Brijwasi sort of caught my attention! Since I am a big fan of anything and everything related to Braj! Also we know no one makes tangy street food better than people from UP, hence we ended up at this place to try their chat.
Planned to eat just chat, but ended up having a serving of almost everything that it had to offer. The chat is simple and not garnished with salads of beetroot and raddish and lots of onions, much to my relief - it consist of fresh and soft bhalla, crispy papri and small golgappas. There is something strange about the chat, all the additives are not evenly spread but they are accumulated together, so in case you are sharing your plate of chat with someone make sure you don't end up eating all bhallas while your partner ends up eating all potatoes or papris.
Surprisingly, the dahi bhalla doesn't have the same fresh and soft bhallas that is added to the mix chaat serving.
Another interesting thing was tikki, we opted for bun tikki which turned out to be a bummer because it tasted as if the buns are smeared with honey.
Next we tried their bhel puri, and as if the bhel was meant to break the sweetness of bun tikki, it turned out to be highly spicy (although it doesn't appear to be spicy).
Within a small chat bhandar having 2-3 tables, this place is serving pretty good street food which doesn't affect your gum health, something that has always been a problem with chutney based food.
I was in Amritsar for a day and my wife had a craving for some chat and the best place in the whole of Amritsar city for good Chat papdi and snacks is Brijwasi, they have two outlets one closer to our home in Rani ka Bagh and the other one is just next to our office on Cooper Road.
Located on the busy Cooper Road just besides the bhandari pull, which is the most important link of the cantt. Area and the old city and most importantly the one bridge that connects the visitors landing at the airport railway station to the Golden temple Complex.
We tried the bhalla papdi which was excellent but the noise and pollution from the traffic was a big put off. I would stick to visiting their Rani Bagh outlet as that is a calm neighbourhood to enjoy such delicacies.
Food Corner in the city famous for its chat items.
Decent menu for the chat lovers and taste is lip smacking. But I must say they improved a lot in comparison to when I visited there in my childhood with friends. But remember it is a bit far away from the city itself...!
One of the only places in the world that I can never ever resist, given my history of gluttony and incessant hunger pangs.
A humble little corner serving a limited menu of street food items with flavours that will stay with you forever and I can swear by them in saying that these cannot be replicated by any other outlet anywhere in the world. Personally I have never eaten better chaat anywhere else, be it Delhi, Mumbai or any other city in India.
Made with a small sitting, Brij Wasi is ever bustling in the evenings with flocks of cars waiting in the parking, honking for more plates of addictive dishes that they serve. It's best to order and eat inside the car, the servers mostly remember every person by face, they are adept at remembering your orders and food flows out in thunder speed because hungry diners and wile honks are not a good idea!
The Chaat Papdi is most famous here with crunchy papdi drowned in sweet yogurt, tamarind chutneys, potatoes and a spicy masala mix that culminates into the most orgasmic bite!
Behl Puri is my personal favourite here, light, fluffy, made with chopped potatoes, chilly, onions and puffed rice finished off with papdi, lots of coriander and a sweet spicy chutney that I can eat every day. Yumz
Tikka and Bun Tikka are the hot selling dishes which finish off the earliest by late evening and are the most sinful fried snacks you'll eat around here. Wonderfully balanced in terms of flavour and highly addictive with consistent flavours that will pull you back for more every other time!
I am literally salivating at the moment!
When in Amristar, you cannot miss this culinary gem which is consistently brilliant in flavours which are not found anywhere else.
Decadent, rich food but the calories are so worth it!
A 4-star solely for my love for the Bun-tikkis❤️ they're just amazing and I haven't had a better one anywhere in Amritsar.
Brijwasi can improve a lot upon their entire get-up but I still think the old-school arrangement is decent.
They have quite maintained their name over the years by serving amazing stretch food. Not really a dine in place, people usually take away the food or eat in their Gaddis, which is quite a trend in the city. Bun tikki is to die for!
Being a mumbaikar.. i had tasted way better aloo tikki and other chat..... it was good but not that great... tasted thr aloo tikki and bun tikki along with kachori..
Chatni served was good...
One time visit
The name of the place itself defines speciality. We tried bun tikki, tikki, papdi chaat, gol gappe etc. We found they are best in bun tikki but other items needs fine tunning in taste.
They serve green chutney and mithi chutney. The place situated at crystal chowk near to giani tea stall !!
Tried there famous bun tikki it was really good in taste there chutneys was really good i didn't have enough time and hunger so I didn't tried there other delicacies but I woul when I visit next time for sure
Went here in Aug 2023 and tried aloo tikki, bun tikki, and papdi chaat. Loved the bun tikki (definitely worth the visit!). Overall, it is a small shop (non ac) with 5-6 tables, more like a tea joint. Prices are super affordable (most items at Rs 60) and it is located near the railway station. Unfortunately, nothing to drink with chaat (e.g. no tea, coffee, lassi).
Small outlet, but famous for its chaat of various varieties.
A must visit for chaat lovers.
Best please in Amritsar to enjoy the flavour of Amritsari chat and fusion bun tikki. All ingredients of any dish served here are so fresh, anyone can feel the taste of of freshness. I tried all dishes and after tasting each flavour it's amazing. Location of shop is easily accessible. Must visit place.
It is one of the famous and oldest chaat places but the tikkis don't taste the same as before!
I really miss the flavor that was 5-6 years back. Needs improvement
A good place for snacking and the all the food items are worth the money. The only thing that created inconvenience was that they don't use online payment methods. You have to pay in cash. Otherwise,I like this place a lot.

Nice place and varieties of tasty chaats available. We tried Bhalla Papdi Chaat, we also wanted to try Bun Burger but it was sold out.
I have heard alot of this place and being a food blogger I love exploring new and new places. I was surprised that even tho being a local of the city I never went to this famous shop. Maybe cause it's quite far from my place.
Well talking about the ambience, it's good. It's cleaner than 90% of shops like this in Amritsar. Also the way they prepare stuff is good. They have a water profiter kept. There are no flies or mosquitoes.
Coming to the food they serve, it's tasty. Really amazing. Very fresh. But it's not at all spicy and I'm a die hard fan of spicy food. Also the price they have set is more than their product quality. Also note, if you are the kind of person who can't stay without eating onions with your meal, this place isn't for you. They don't use onions at all.
Menu isn't updated on the zomato app. I'm attaching a few pictures along with the latest price list. Make sure you carry enough money according to the new price list. I would rate it a 4/5 overall but a 5/5 in hygiene.

Great nostalgic place to visit. Consistent taste as always. Not sure if they accept digital payments or not as no signs point towards it. Easy location. Recommend a visit for great chaat
