So I ordered Chicken Biryani. Aroma and taste of biryani was too good. One of the best Biryani I had in long time♥️♥️will order again. And order was delivered in just 25minutes so it was great experience overall ♥️
The host (Mr. Surjit) is a delight to talk to. He recommends amazing things and makes them for you himself many a times. Mutton tikka stole the show and is probably the best one out there. It is prepared with ghee which gives it the melt in mouth taste. Amritsari fish is also a must. Please go and talk to the owner and enjoy a wonderful time.
We went there to try their famous "tawa chicken pulao". The one with the secret recipe.
The owner was very polite and friendly. He himself prepared the same for us. It was somewhat tasty but not very unique or outstanding.
We recommend the paneer tikka as it was super delicious.
The Amritsari fish fry was bland though and need more work on it.
This outlet was recommended by a frnd so thought of giving it a try.
So i ordered some of their signature dishes.
Had mutton tikka
Tandoori chicken n tawa chicken.
Their every dish is prepared in desi ghee.
That what we also noticed in food.
Food was hearty n rich in flavours.
Mesmerizing food n delectable taste.
One should visut here if in Amritsar
I am short of words to describe the amazing experience there. Mutton Tikka is out of this world and the fruit cream is just wow. To top it all, the owner is great at hospitality. loved it.... highly recommended.
Surjit Food Plaza is one of the best non-veg destination for non veg food lovers Ill.i had tried their chicken masala, chicken kali mirch ,mutton tikka and to be honest these all are one of the finest non veg dishes one can get. Strongly recommended
This place is just awesome. When i had these dishes it was the most tasty and healthy. The best thing to visit in this place was charming chicken. Just the food. It was very delicious and tasty. Loved the food and specially malai chicken and.
While searching for good restraunts in Amritsar came across this one, and the reviews were absolutely correct bang on.. Firstly I would like to talk about the owner you do not need the menu if he's available there. He told us about the specialities so after that we end up ordering mutton tikka, tandoori chicken and the famous Amritsari fish - all these snacks were fantabulous. We all loved the snacks. In the main course we ordered Kadahi Chicken, Brain curry and Mutton curry everything was just amazing. And you must give it a try if you are there.

The Food was amazing and the hospitality was top notch. The owner Mr. Surjit Singh is an amazing host who showed us his kitchen and was gracious enough to plan our takeaway dinner. The food was par excellence and the Tandoori chicken was the best I ever had. Must visit place in Amritsar.
Must visit place. Me and my friend tried Amritsari fish chkn tikka and there super famous chkn tikka rice... AWESOME
Best thing about the dishes were desi ghee, fresh ingredients and not a single flavour was heavy on the taste buds. Cherry on the cake is the owner is the sweetest and love to talk. This place rocks🤘🏼
Yummiest fish fry i ever had.. Amritsari fish with minimal coating, crispy.. Must have.. Fish was very soft as well but crisp from outside. Had mutton tikka masala which was also good.. Owner himself was inside was in kitchen supervising the chefs. Onwer greeted us with great gesture.. Very polite and calm.. He feels proud of his food which is true as the food was fresh and yummm..
Well on my 3rd visit to Amritsar I finally managed to take time out and visit this place. So Glad I did so it was totally worth it. Although I went her very late for lunch by 4 pm them served me well. The Tandori chicken is really amazing and is very different from what we eat in the metro cities like delhi, mumbai and bangalore. It is not red in color and mildly spiced but turns out really food.
Must try the mutton Tikka dry along with the garlic Nan. The chutney and raddish goes really well. The service is very prompt and staff is very courteous.
Taste 4/5
Ambience 4/5
Service 4/5
spacious place, good food but little expensive, ⭐️Amritsari fish is very famous but doesn’t taste awesome, it is not crispy or flavourful, just simple dish, costs ₹400/- for plate but we were three people so waiter said let me serve 2 piece each and we thought it means that the plate has 6 pieces but when the bill came, they mentioned 1.5 plate and charged ₹600/- for fish. 💫Be aware and listen carefully what they are saying and what is written in menu.
Further we ordered ⭐️chicken rara(curry) on his recommendation which costs ₹380/- for half plate and quantity is very less as compared to rates, full plate is ₹700/-
We also ordered ⭐️Keema kulcha with curry costs ₹200/- it was fine not very heavy, curry was disgusting.
We visited for dinner on 9th nov. The owner recommended us Amtisari fish fry, mutton tika masala and tandoori chicken, saag and yellow dal with Lacha Parantha. Easily the best food i have had since i can remember. Outstanding
Best place to have chicken, mutton and Amritsari fish. Awesome food and hospitality. S.Amarjeet Singh thanks for such an amazing service. #delicious #scrumptious #yummilicious
Want to eat Tandoori Chicken in amritsar?
This place will beat your hunger.
It’s a bit expensive but it’s worth it.
Dont order deserts.It sucks.
The place was highly rated on Google, and rightly so. We tried the Paneer Tikka, Tandoori Chicken, Mutton Tikka and Amritsari fish.
The paneer was one of the best any of us has ever had, very soft and light. The fish was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. All in all, a great meal.
The owner was very helpful as well. Is definitely worth another visit!
I don’t think what else satisfies our taste buds as much as tandoori chicken does here... Just AMAZING..
I guess they serve best tandoori chicken in the town .
Other than this, amritsari fish, mutton champ, and tawa chicken is what you must must try here..
and I’m sure you will become a fan too..
In a land where good food is not an exception but the rule, this gem stands out for its sheer hospitality and authentic fresh food.
The experience is unique and memorable partly due to the involvement of the ever generous owner of the restaurant who happily shares stories and recommends menu items. He can go great lengths to convince you as to what to try, must have and even what not to order.
The food is exceptional and served in generous quantities. The mutton seekh, chap and chicken pulao stand out in tough competition. The chicken pulao is a simple dish but cooked to perfection in butter and succulent pieces of chicken and yes it is different from chicken biryani.
The tawa chicken is spicy, so is tandoori chicken but a must have if you can still have the desire even if not the hunger to eat and explore more. The vegetarian options are not much behind, the kaali smoky dal is not the one to be left behind along with some great paneer dishes. Chicken Seekh is the only dish which was not upto the mark considering the high standards set, but then chicken and seekh do not go in the same breath anyway so no ones complaining.
In Amritsar if you want the best then this is the place that just cannot be missed.
Food- 4.5/5.0
Ambiance- 3.0/5.0
VFM- 3.5/5.0
Service- 5.0/5.0
One of the greatest restaurants in downtown . Food was amazinggggg.. must try is the chicken tawa pulao . fried fish and mutton kebab they are just out of the world . ajwani alu and tawa paneer sabji is great . The rest. has had Sanjeev Kapoor come and write its review as one of the best rest. in the country. most of the celebs have visited this place and rated is as one of the best they have tried.
It was my bad luck that i visited this place on the last day of my stay else i would have visited it atleast 3 times if not less.
MUST TRY
As recommended by all the food pages Had Amritsar fish and mutton tikka gravy here. It was so well cooked and very tasty. I asked the owner, me Surjit as to why the place had such low number of guests despite being so highly rated by all food pages. He told me simply that they once used to have a lot of guests. But they never served alcohol. Hence number of guests went on decreasing. He was such a humble guy. He told me that despite this he believes that by serving quality food he will get genuine customers. He said that taxi drivers and auto walas don't bring customers here deliberately as other hotels bribe the taxi walas for alcohol and all. Really felt nice talking to him.
Whosoever reads this, do visit this food joint as it will definitely give u foodgasms
I have to live down the memories lane to talk about the wonderful food I had at the place
The Amritsar fish fry was divine well done but still soft and with appropriate spices my last visit was in 2014 but the taste lives on
Surajeet’s chicken is well known not only in India but has patrons abroad it is really well worth a try
Dal and Partha were good but who is too worried when you have great fish and chicken
The ambiance of the place is average but who cares when service and hygiene standards are maintained
Great place to visit again and again
Went there for dinner and come out till neck full.
Ordered dal makhani and butter naan with lassi.
The heaviest dinner of all time and it was tasty as well.
I had read about this food joint on the internet before going to amritsar and I was extremely pleased with my experience. We had ordered their signature dish, Amritsari fish fried and tawa chicken with garlic naan.
They serve good portions with 4 pieces of fried fish and garlic naan being quite a large one. All the dishes were delicious. Coming to the tawa chicken, it was yummy with a rich gravy of onion, garlic and tonatoes but the gravy did not cause any kind of digestion problems and neither was it too much greasy or oily. It had the perfect taste with succulent chicken pieces. The staff were courteous and yes... Punjab gave me a feel good vibe. Souvik Maity
Firstly I have to say this is the BEST TANDOORI CHICKEN I have had in my 25 years of existence!
So we were 7 people and had a train to catch in an hour so we were in a hurry and the owner here had a sense of humour! Paaji said no one will get food till you sit down first. Hahaa! Then he himself helped us out as to what to eat-
5 non veg, 1 veg, 1 fishetarian.
So he ordered tandoori chicken(tender, soft, full of flavour-the best), something like stir fried mutton( so so)amritsari fish(yummy) and papad for my vegetarian dad!
Main food- butter chicken boneless (needs improvement) tomato gravy fish (good) tawa paneer (oh so yummy ) and wonderful butter naans.
Ordered lassi also but wasn’t cold even after telling them.
I was just so happy with a fulfilling lunch and so yummy with great staff and service. All of this amounted to some 4K but worth it with some hiccups!
Am totally coming back to Amritsar for the chicken tandoori.
On trip to Amritsar been to Surjit Food Plaza on recommendation of sum friends.. Ordered many starters of chicken n fish as v were a group of 10. Quantity served was on lower side as compared to d prices charged per dish. I guess it was owner himself who came to us n suggested some dishes to try. Green chutney n onion were a plus point while having snacks. Taste was gud. Bt prices were high. Overall gud experience
Lovely food! Mr surjit personally catered to us.. made us have lovely food! Must visit if your in Amritsar! The laccha parathas were outstanding!
The go-to place in Amritsar for mouth-watering non-vegetarian Punjabi delicacies often cooked up personally by the owners to satisfy the taste buds. The Amritsari fish and mutton tikka are especially recommended.
Ultimate jem in amritsar
Visited after seeing Hmm foodie

When I come to amritsar
Surjit - A MUST MUST MUST VISIT
I was visiting Amritsar about ten days ago for the first time with the single minded agenda to EAT. The first place I happened to go straight from the airport was Surjit. I had heard a lot about it so wanted to see what the hype was all about. I went with my parents and as soon as we entered we were greeted by one of the warmest smile of Surjit himself. He recommended that we order his famous tandoori chicken, amritsari fish and mutton tikka and we did. We also added saag and a few rotis to our order and waited eagerly. Soon we realised that we had Surjit himself in the kitchen cooking for us. As the food arrived, I found myself literally salivating because it was the BEST mutton tikka and fish I have ever tasted in my life.
Over the next few days, we literally must have tried every single dhaba/restaurant in Amritsar but nothing even came close to Surjit. Which is why we went back to Surjit on outr way back to the airport for our flight to Delhi! And the hogs that we are, even packed some to take back with us to Delhi! Do not miss it if you're in Amritsar.
When we entered and asked for the menu, a pleasant but owner looking person commented “Dekh ne ka aur soch ne ka kuch nahi hai; sirf khane ka hai” and then broke into a big smile.. we immediately told him that please order for us and we will just eat.. and well, there was only sheer happiness after that.. the perfectly marinated tandoori chicken and sukha mutton were really good but what caught our attention was the Amritsari fish tikka.. golden crispy on the outside and tender soft in the inside and the fish cooked to perfection..and the masala sprinkled on the outside is simply to die for; the aloo kulcha and the chole were certainly Amritsar standard.. we ordered few takeaways for our friends and the team did a splendid job to get everything done in less than 40 mins!
While the food itself deserved all the praise, what really made it special was the exceptional service of the owners - Surjit Singh-ji and his sauve son Amarjit Singh who welcomed us with that ‘wise-beyond-his-years’ remark when we entered.. the story of the restaurant and how it was built by Surjitji and his son after splitting away from the older man’s brother of ‘Makhan’ fame.. the story was moving but then with Surjit Food Plaza getting featured in New York Times couple of years back, it was proof that talent and tasty food always get recognised.. if I were to go back to one place in Amritsar, then I would happily choose Surjit Food Plaza :)
Excellent food...especially fish , very authentic and well cooked .
Must try
1. Tawa chicken
And
2.) Tandoori Fish
Very well located and neat surrounding 😀
This is best place to try MUtton tikka n fish tikka...
However mostly all items in menu are tempting n unresistably tasty....
The location is a little out of market in commercial area of Amritsar.
I always visit this place simply because I love the food Here...
DO TRy When IN Amritsar 👍
Nothing special
So so
Normal dining and simple food
Service is good
Not sure about home delivery
Visited only once!
Am i the only one who found it expensive?
Tandoori chicken is out of the world..!! A tourist hotspot for those who knew about this place..
a very kind hospitality by the owners !!
Service is a bit slow but worth the taste and the product is freshly made ..!!
Must try for non veggies
Amritsar fish tikka is a dish which brought me to this place. And bang it was the right choice though there are likes of Makhan fish corner in Amritsar.
I have been here twice and ordered the fish tikka on both the occasions. Crisp on the outside and soft like butter on the inside. It melts in your mouth and you savour every bit of it.
You can also order their Chicken from the menu but I would stick to the fish tikka.
Excellent food, loved the flavours and superb service. Would recommend it to everyone visiting Amritsar :) Try out their mutton kheema kulcha and gravy, was a burst of flavours. Also, try out their mutton tikka.
Outstanding Tandoori Chicken
Daal to die for
Fish Amritsari is a hit
Un assuming restaurant . But a must try if in Amritsar
Mutton Tikka super
This is my fifth visit to Surjit and second of this trip. I simply now feel that a visit to Surjit is must on every visit to Amritsar
Place is located in bustling market place but inside is a calm and homely aura where you dine with full view of the kitchen which owner himself manages when the crowd is growing.
I always order tandoori chicken and have to say that it is the dish that should be had every time. KFC gives an ad that their chicken is finger lick'in good, well if you try chicken at Surjit you will surely be saying the same thing. Chicken is first done in tandoor then on kadai and served with lemon. Its tender juicy mmm mmm mmmm GOOD.
My other orders was yellow dal with assorted bread (PS: try lachha parantha only if you are REALLY hungry) kadai chicken and fried fish.
To be honest I am not a dal person every time its made at home I have an excuse like I am full or I will have fruits only but here its GOOD.
My overall experience of the place is amazing the owner himself or one of his relatives whoever is sitting greets you helps you with ordering. They dont allow you to over order anything. They make sure you enjoy your food.
I don't give out 5 stars easily as I eventually do find a fault or two in everything. But at Surjit there is something about the aura, food and the owner that giving anything less will be an insult to not only an averagely priced, very high quality food but to owner himself.
So do go here and enjoy finger lick'in good Tandoori chicken and other delicacies on offer.
Dropped by for a quick lunch with the family... The place is utilitarian...Food is okay. Tandoori chicken n Amritsari fish were nice. Though i must confess i have had better tandoori in Amritsar. All n all better than average...
Food is amazing
White travelling to Amritsar you must take a stop here . Neat and tidy waiters and well managed.
^^eat delicious look delicious 😋
Very tasty Amritsari Fish Fry and Butter Chicken to go along with a very warm hospitality by the owner who personally makes sure you get the best food
A very welcoming owner welcomed us to this restaurant and seeing a toddler also offered us an aloo paratha specially for the kid with less spice. We were quiet impressed with this gesture. It is famous for its chicken items so we went for tandoori chicken, amritsar fish fry and mutton biryani all the dish were very flavoursome and we did not regret even a bit,in veg as we were not that hungry just called for Paneer Tikka which had good texture to it. The owner is very friendly and helpful ( I guess generally people are like this in Amritsar). A special mention they did not charge us for the paratha they made for my kid.
Repeat Quotient: Definitely( whenever in Amritsar)
Must try the mutton tikkas and amritsar i fish fry! They just melt in the mouth. Friendly banter with the owner nicely tops the day. Do ask for steaming hot dal makhani which nicely goes with kulchas hot from the stove
Deserves more than 5 stars!! One of the best places ever at Amritsar. Absolutely loved the Amritsari fish tikka, the Chicken kebabs, mouth-watering Mutton kebabs! What was so surprising was that even all the items on the main course like, fish tawa, kadai chicken was just yumm. The fruit cream is a must have for all desert lovers!
What kicked me best was the hospitality of the owner, Surjitji best!!!
Would love to go over again and again! The food and the hospitality is such that it lingers on your mind throughout.
Excellent food. Makhan fish was to die for. Excellent Mutton tikkas and chicken tandoori. Nan was soft and delicious. The owner was caring and courteous. If in Amritsar, must visit for the authenticity and care going into the food. So so much better than Makhan on Majitha Road. If only their marketing was as good as their food.

A very popular place but honestly nothing out of the world. The tandoori chicken is an exception though - It is fab !! If not for the tandoori chicken, I possibly would not make an effort to go to Surjit again.
Follow me on Instagram @SPICEITUPWITHSAM
During our project blogger on the road went to this place to have a takeout of a tandoori chicken. To our surprise the chicken turned out to be very delicious. Properly cooked and marinated chicken pieces without any added colours.
This is a must try place in amritsar for amazing punjabi food
Hey Guys,
Well this was supposed to come a week earlier.... but then as they say better late than never.... I happened to be on a vacation this summer and Amritsar was the last leg of the trip.... and Surjit Plaza the last restaurant I had food from...
Needless to say the food was as amazing as it gets but the icing on the cake is the outstanding hospitality displayed by Mr Surjit.. the owner himself and his son Amarjit.... Taking utmost care of their visitors , details of the taste they customize your order. I had the most yummylicious Fish Amritsari, kebabs, kulchas.... even the veg biriyani was finger licking good.
Dont leave amritsar without visiting Surjit....
This place has a lot of fan following and a lot of celebrities have visited here. But the ambience is bleak, and hardly ever have I seem more than 40% occupancy . the price doesn't justify the taste. Indeed, the same or even better non veg can be found in much cheaper place
He is the original Makhan! Eldest of 5 brothers he sacrificed his claim to the name but perhaps lives up to the name more than anyone of the other outlets. Came here on a recommendation of a friend and were skeptical when we saw the zomato rating.
Well, this was The best food we had on our trip to Amritsar! The owner is very caring and came up to our table, helped us order and was as warm as you would expect everyone to be in this city.
When the food came, we realised that this place dished out the best fish amritsari, butter chicken, kulchas, tandoori chicken and dal makhani! Mr Surjit could be seen personally supervising the cooking in the kitchen.
Everything was lightly spiced so that the meat would retail it's flavour. What's more, it was light on the stomach despite being as rich as Punjabi food is!
Don't miss the lassi!
One thing is for sure, we are coming back here again. One word to sum up this experience - Outstanding!
Fantastic food! We had heard from multiple people about all the oldest and best places to eat in Amritsar- Bharawan da Dhaba, Makhhan, and so on... And then double checked zomato ratings before making a careful decision. And then we were recommended this place with a 3.5 zomato rating and when we walked in, it was completely empty! Compare that with the Makhhan dinner we had the night before... It was packed and overflowing with people! So we were definitely a little suspicious when we walked into Surjit Food Plaza. We needn't have worried... The butter chicken was succulent and flavourful, the tandoori chicken and Amritsar fish was authentic and subtly flavoured and the kaali dal was outstandingly makhani (this, from a family of hardcore meat eaters). More people need to know about this place. Not least because Mr. Surjit Singh was the original owner (and oldest brother) of Makhhan, and was subsequently cheated of the Makhhan brand name. However, having eaten at both places for 2 consecutive meals, I can safely say that Mr.Surjit Singh knows his food better than any of the scores of restaurants in Amritsar and is highly underrated on zomato. Makhhan was great but Surjit Food Plaza was outstanding!
We just walked in to this restaurant on 31st dec late night around 11 dint had any idea about this restaurant we had tandoori chiken and amritsari fish (as suggested by owner) both were amazing a must have dishes, Special thanks to owner Mr. Amarjit Singh who is passionate for food and gives personal attention to his customers. Will love to vist this place again to try some more dishes.
Amritsar trip without eating at this place? It's a nice place and very very neat. The concept of live kitchen makes sure about the hygiene of the place.
We tried butter chicken, dal makhni, yellow dal, garlic naan, lacha parantha and tandoori chicken and needless to say it was great.
Best being the dal and chicken. Good service and a must visit for people planning to visit.
Good service, very hygienic and good food.
This place has huge arsenal of kebabs and tikkas, a paradise for non veg lovers. I tried the Tandoori Chicken which justifies the popularity of this place, Malai Tikka and both were flavoursome and succulent.
Definitely worth many visits.
Highly recommend this place.
Went to this place because of recomendation and am so glad I didnot give it a miss. Food here simply delicious. The mutton kebab a must try. Price wise a bit stiff as compared to the local dhabas but worth every penny.
Went here as it was recommended by a friend. Though it is a bit far from the main Golden Temple area, it was worth travelling till here. One must have the Amritsari fish and mutton kebabs. We also had the tandoori chicken, paneer butter masala and dal makhani. Everything was delicious. The fish was tender and tasty. The paneer and dal were yummy and full of butter but you won't regret the calories. When in Amritsar, Surjit Food Plaza is one eatery you really shouldn't miss!
When we reached Amritsar, apart from the dhabas' food, we also learnt about Surjit Food Plaza. Luckily, we remembered the place just in time for dinner. We took a bit of a time to locate this. But believe me, time and effort was all worth it. The interiors are white walls and nothing much. The table and chairs are also not so inviting. It was kind of empty when we reached there on night of Dec 27. But the moment food arrives, everything is forgotten. We ordered for fish tikka and chicken sheek kabab for starters. The taste was amazing. For main course, we ordered for the paneer kali mirch and kadai chicken. It was one of the best paneer dishes that i have had. The taste and aroma was just too good. It was a bit spicy but not at the expense of making one think more of the spicy quotient. The taste lingered for quite some time making one feel completely satisfied with the meal. The butter naan desrves a mention as well. It was extremely soft and didnt become chewy even after it was not hot. After roaming around Amritsar for shopping, we were tired and this meal was just a perfect end to the day. This is the place to eat in case one is in a mood to eat North Indian food.
Every city has its heroes- people, monuments, buildings, natural gifts, which become the city's pride. The city is known for them, breathes them. It's quite amazing how a restaurant can be one of the city's heroes. Yes, that is how much this place is talked about when it comes to food in Amritsar. I have been hearing tunes of praises for this dhaba/restaurant ever since I was in school. It's true that this place was among my priorities when I visited Amritsar few days back. We came in for an early lunch, but were still surprised to see the place completely empty. The interiors are pretty much barren with just a television and a framed newspaper clipping with praises for this place, though I liked the concept of the see-through kitchen. We ordered Amritsari fried fish, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, butter naan, lachha parantha; aka the staple Punjabi-Mughlai heaven. Everything tasted really good but I would say nothing was as good as I'd never had before. Honestly, I was quite disappointed with the quantity of the starters because it nowhere matched the prices. The owner is a friendly man and didn't fail to entertain us with his stories of serving famous Bollywood stars at this very place. Overall, I'd recommend you visit this place while pretending to be unaware of its proclaimed heroism :)

Had a one-of-a-kind experience in Surjit food plaza where my choice of menu was scrapped off by the cook/owner and he made up an order all by himself. The guy just wanted me to taste surjit's speciality (Tandoori chicken) which was not what I wanted to have. He insisted me on having or rather I should say 'imposed' me to have tandoori chicken. I guess its the 'punjabi' way of being hospitable. But being a punjabi myself I didn't like it at all!
Nevertheless the food was fantabulous! All the non veg dishes were spot on and yum! The veg dishes were average though.
A five score for the quality of food.
A two score for the hospitality and service.
Have been here on all my trips to amritsar and the food tastes the same. A classic on the gastronomy map of the city. The service is rubbish only if they can improve on that.
Surjit Food Plaza is a huge restaurant situated in a commercial complex. I went there on a sunny afternoon and it was completely empty. I was a it doubtful about this place since it was completely empty and did not even have a single table occupied so I thought that it's not as good as I have heard it to be.
I visited there just for the amritsari fish fry.
My stomach was completely full but I simply had to try this fish..
The first bite went into my mouth and it was AMAZING!!!! I had tried fish fry in Delhi from a number of places but this place just took my heart away.. it was crispy, it was soft and it was yumm!! It was also accompanied by onions, green chutney and tartar sauce..
One of the best fishes I have ever had without doubt!
The guy who started this chain is featured all over india and was also invited to the US to deliver his amazing dishes out there. The sukha mutton fry and butter chicken were to die for!!!! I was in amritsar for 3 days and this was a must try as everyone knows about this place.... and it took us an hour to locate this.!!
We ordered the mutton tikka, brain curry and tandoori chicken. Everything was awesome juicy tandoori, tender and flavourful mutton tikka and the mutton curry was quite decent.
Good food however the hotel is too dull with boring decor. However it can be visited with family members. I believe they should update their food menu rather than just over writing.
The food was really tasty, especially the mutton tikka and the paneer tikka. We got takeaway. The owner was very courteous and gave good suggestions on what to order. There's some space to sit as well and enough parking around. I would definitely rate this place highly.
Popular and best food joint for both veg and non veg lovers.
We have tried tandoori chicken and tawa chicken. And it was superbly delicious. They don't use artificial colour which is the best and healthy thing.
The place is very neat and clean and the host Amarjit Singh ji is also an extremely awesome and simple person.
Everyone should try this place as it is extremely awesome.
Rating of place : 5 star
Food : 5 Star
Acceblity: all types of transport are acceptable to reach here
Very humble and polite owner. The food was excellent in quality. I would recommend Fish Fry, Tawa Chicken. We also took Dal Makhani, which was fabulous as well. The atmosphere and the talks with the owner made the meal wholesome. The owner was lovely, and we were talking till lengths unknown. Thank you for such hospitality and service. 6/5 ⭐️
We tried their Fish Amritsari Fried and Mutton Tikka Special (Dry). The fish had a crunchy layer on the outside and was so tender inside. The Mutton Tikka is an absolute winner - have never had anything like this before ! The owner is extremely humble and also interacted with us :) . We got to know that their original food joint is currently under renovation and they are operating at this temporary outlet, which is a few minutes apart only. A must visit food joint if you visit Amrtisar !
This is a wonderland of non-veg food, what makes it even more enjoyable is the hospitality of the owner. A must if you want to reset your taste buds.
Amazing place for food. Excellent quality and taste. The owner is also very hospitable and a good gentleman. He prepares dishes himself.
The best food experience. Must try mutton tikka and mix veg!
The owner and the staff are very courteous and friendly! Loved it!
This is one of the hidden gems of Amritsar. You should come here to taste and savor the best of Amritsar.
The fish was light and perfectly balanced.
Mutton was prepeared in a spicy gravey.
Naan and Roti both were great.
You would love this place.
This is a small shop at Lawrence Road. We had chicken tikka, amritsari fish fry, tawa chicken and butter naan. We really loved the chicken tikka, but the fish fry was slightly overrated. Tawa chicken was average. Overall, it was not a bad experience. You can give it a try.
Small Punjabi eatery tucked away off Lawrence road near Nayyar Hospital. Amarjit Singh was very hospitable, recommended we try the Amritsari Fish Fry which was great, Mutton Tikka special, as starters. Tawa chicken for mains.
This restaurant has 3 tables which can seat around 12 to 15 pax.
Enjoyed the food and hospitality and affection shown to us
