If you are looking for variety of kulcha at same place with pocket friendly price then its worth of money to visit here. With chole kulcha they serve onion and chutny also. Kulchey were crispy and chole were less oily.

Best place to have multiple variety of kulcha, very very crispy & tasty served with unlimited chole & onion chutney. Could not find a better place to crispy & tasty kulcha for anytime of the day.
good quality and good taste ....sooo good ....
Original Amritsari Kulcha. Very crispy and Delicious. Also try mirch wala kulcha. Original monu kulcha hut is inside the gali at Loharka Road, Amritsar.
Everything is very nice except long wait for our crispy and spicy kulcha. You'll love the way they make the kulcha. Everyone should visit this.
Not compassion at all ! Always the best one kulcha in Amritsar👌 Good place to sit with family and have the delicious breakfast in budget 👍 Mouth watering 😊
The most waffery (crispy) and buttery kulcha you can ever have!
There are many outlets in asr for. Kulcha, but this one rules out all! Best kulchas ever.
Recomended: Mix kulcha plate. 👌🏽
Taste: 4/5, kulcha are very cripsy, choley lacks sometimes in tangynes but thw chutni compensates it totally!
They serve the best mouthwatering kulchas, they’re simply so crispy and delicious! A must visit place to be at if you are in amritsar for sure
There is no better place than this to have authentic amritsari kulchas. Every kulcha is made to perfection and the karigars here know the art of making a good crisp kulcha. The pricing is very VFM and there is enough seating for the whole family and more. Do note there is a fake monu on the main road just 2 shops away while the real authentic one is in the inner street. Do ask for the lassi too which they get from the shop opposite to theirs and its one quite good too.
They have the crispiest kulchas that I've had in Amritsar, I have tasted better chana though. The service should be fast, and the place could be refurbished as well.
But, I would definitely recommend the place for good kulchas.
I went to this Kulcha Place after Kulcha Land, to see the difference in their preparation and I found them to be more stuffed, more flaky and more soft as compared to Kulcha Land.
I ordered Aloo Pyaaz Kulcha and enjoyed it with Lassi.
Supreme value for money, a little off track the main city, definitely worth going.
The best kulcha in amritsar
It’s a bit out of the way but worth the visit
Have tried all the touristy ones like all india famous kulcha, kulcha land, one near golden temple but this ones another level
Kulchas are crisp ,crisp & crisp with very good stuffing
You can eat it as it is no need for Chole or chutney
Thank you Vishal for this recommendation 👌🏻👌🏻
Crispy Kulchas..... Chhole were OK-ish (baking soda was a little excess), but Pyaaz chatni was great. Cuts down the heaviness from Kulchha.
Rates are economical. Go for Aloo Kulchha only (don't go for paneer or any other) . Two Kulchhas are more than enough for a person even with a great appetite.
Must visit place for breakfast if you are visiting Amritsar.
Amritsari kulcha. What better can be there for a breakfast! But u have to wait for 30 mins as service is poor and slow. At: Monu Kulcha hut, Loharka Road #Amritsar
The place is located at dwarka road . Have had so many kulchas and so many different places in amaritsar but one have been as good at this place . The kulchas were so crisp and perfect . The cholas were also very good . Best place to have kulchas in Amritsar at the moment .
I was visit Yesterday morning. We order aalu wala kulcha. It was amazing Taste so buttery and crispy. That was tha best place for breakfast in amritsar. I will definitely come to monu kulcha next time when i visit amritsar

The wow factor attached to this meal has been the highest so far. Amritsar is synonymous with Amritsari Kulchas and even though Amritsar is loaded with tonnes of places selling Kulchas yet this small joint has some of the most awesome crisp and flaky kulchas unlike anything I have ever eaten before.
Located slightly away from the main city near Luv Dalr school at Loharka road this place sweeps you off your feet with the deliciousness quotient of the food. A very very simple joint. Do not judge it by the ambiance but by the finger licking good taste of the food you relish here.
Food is moderately priced and service is slightly slow since the trick of making this flaky kulcha is slow cooking.
The mix veg kulchas are truly out of this world. I still have the taste of these very fresh in my mouth. I think the trick is that he doesnt hurry through the making and service and cooks them in slow heat so that they turn crispier and flackier. Simply outstanding
What a crisp flaky kulcha. The mix veg kulcha was better than the Aaloo kulcha and the lassi just helped to bring me back to earth coz I was on cloud 9. A must visit place when in Amritsar.
A small restaurant at the side of the road. Nothing fancy and the seating is decent. They do have a/c in the summers. The above rating adds an extra rating for food because they offer some great kulchas. The service and garnishing can get better but the food is alright. The chutney is extra special with that sweet and sour hit. Easy on the pocket as well.
Having being born in amritsar, I've been eating kulcha's since I don't even remember. I have tired kulcha's from every nook and corners of this city. But I do acclaim that these are by far the BEST kulcha's I've ever had.
They all might seem the same to a tourist but all kulcha's across the city are different in terms of texture, flavour and crunch. Monu kulcha's are super flaky with dollops of butter which give a different shine to this amazingly yummy Kulcha's and crunchy sound that one gets when you take the first bite. Trust me one can't find better kulcha than this one.
It may not be the most hygienic place you visit in amritsar but almost all of them are a 2/5 in terms of hygiene anyways.
Highly recommended. A must visit.
FYI - Sunday morning waiting time to be served is approx. 45 minutes.
One of the best kulchas I had in recent times in my visit to Amritsar.
Got to know about them through a lot of peps of social network and this was sure on my to visit list in the city.
Paired my meal with a chilled bottle of slice and that was just cherry on the cake.
Monu kulcha hut is a old and famous restro hut in Amritsar (Punjab) .
They are famous for their special amritsari kulcha.
They serve Amritsari kulcha with chohle and vinegar onion.
I tried....
Amritsari kulcha which was stuffed with potatoes and butter on it. It was really fantastic and well cooked.
Lassi
Must try place for Amritsari kulcha
Arguably the Best kulcha i ever had in my multiple visit to the Kulcha capital if the world Amritsar.
On my recent visit to the city, on special recommendation from my local friend i visited this place & oh boy this was worth a visit as their Kulcha's is out of d world. Flakky, crisp to core with multi layers and dollops of Amul Butter, Chole were tangy too. Best part was the chutney they serve were in par.
Had tried both the panner and allu pyaz and both were equally yumm.
Finding this place ws not an easy task. But its worth a visit.
#Manchibaba recommends this place #Happyeating
By far the best kulcha iv ever had in my life! Being a chef I can vouch by this
The dough is different from the regular, nice and flaky
The kulcha is Cooked in a Tandoor and served with a big knob of pure butter on top
The aloo pyaaz was the best ! We also tried the paneer and mix!!
PS : make sure you have enough time at hand for the weight and also a big appetite for the kulchas 😍😍
Not everyone knows about this place , but those who do, will surely refer to everyone. The crispness of kulcha, the tasty chole and the a glass of lassi is all what you need to enjoy this.
Amongst one of the best kulchas in Amritsar. It's flaky, crispy and texture is more towards a patty. Taste of kulcha is unparalleled. Chole are somewhat bland but that's totally masked by the taste of kulcha itself.
Amritsar can be called land of kulchas undoubtedly... As u can find kulcha joints within every 5 km here... N monu kulcha is one of these.... But promisingly able to stand out.... As there kulchas USP is thier flakyness... Loved all the sides offred with kulchas [chole+ khata(a tangy onion salad) ]
Location: can be issue as its not commercial but worth going
Joint is mostly crowded even on weekdays
Pros: flaky yummy kulchas, decent services, always served hot
Cons: mixed kulchas mostly not available whrn its rush
PS the origanl monu kulcha hut is inside a road not the one on the main road
Going to amritsar and not having kulcha is like coming back from bagkok without shooping ;)
This place is by far most famous among localities and you dont find it unless you are die hard food fan.
Its located at loharka road and its not so commercialized and got chance to try all the kulchas and I found mixed kulcha tastiest
This place is generally overcrowded espec on sundays . All My relatives in amritsar generally have their breakfast packed from here. I got my kucha in about 30 mins and one must plan accordingly

The kulcha wars are unending where every joint tries to outdo the others.. Rather different cities try and attempt to make their own interpretation of this delicacy (mostly with a flawed/ failed result).
Its called Amritsari Kulcha for a reason people !! Anyway monu is one of the nicest places in amritsar to have kulchas; my favourite being the sanjha chulha always.
The chole are good in flavour as well and the bread is crisp. Try if you may, won't be disappointed !
"Kulche" , the stuffed nan we call it in delhi served it with the chick peas but a lottle brown in colour. Its basically made of in a tandoor with wooden fired at the base.
Among the rat race of winning the taste buds and relishing it at the best , this place wins the grammy . A crisp base with rightly filled potateos along with choley brings ur taste buds to dance .
A perfect experience and must visit if u are in amritsar
Wow.....amazing place for kulcha lovers. The ones who dont eat more than one kulcha, they start eating two.The magic of crisp and masalas in kulcha will make you fond of this kulcha hut.Firstly i go to different kulcha shops to taste the kulchas, but after visiting monu kulcha hut,i never prefer to go to another kulcha hut. This kulcha hut has made me hungry for eating kulcha.
The never ending quest for the BEST Kulcha probably ends here. The Ambience, cleanliness are not their forte, but the perfectly baked Kulchas make it a regularly visited place.
Bestever Kulcha In Amritsar for sure!!
Tried many places but this one is favorite of favorites. Its on Loharka Road and don't get confused as there are many shops but this shop is inside a street and you will find great rush on holidays!!! Crisp is the word u can tag an Amritsari Kulcha with, and yes u will have no complaint after eating this Amritsari Delicacy!!!!!!!
Monu Kulcha Hut at Loharka Road has become quite a poplular joint among localites as well as tourists. What started of as a very small cubicle with an outdoor tandoor (approx 500 metres from its current location) is now a flourishing business. Last I went the wait time was 1:30 hours as he had got an order for 150 kulchas to be delivered to an upmarket hotel for a tour group. Well that apart, Mamaji who mans the front has a system of noting orders which ensures you get served when your number comes up. Coming to the kulchas, they have all the hall marks of a good Amritsari Kulcha. Many thin layers like a puff pastry, with a great crunch to them and a very well spiced filling. Monu himself arrives an hour before his staff and grinds he s secret masalas fresh daily. Also, if you want it extra spicy ask him for it. They will smear some green chillies and masala on the outside. Enjoy but remember they get over by 2:30-3 on weekdays and even earlier on weekends. Monday is their weekly off
Best ever kulcha i had. So flaky and crisp. Awesome is the word. Hard to find the place though. There are many kulcha huts on the same road please dont get confused.
It took me a while to reach this place but it was so worth it taste wise. Absolute mouth watering kulchas and Cholle. I tried paneer and aloo kulchas, both were crispy flaky and buttery. This place is pretty small but hygienic. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Anyone visiting Amritsar should definitely come to this place 👍
Outstanding kulchas. Crisp, fresh and butter laden. Limited menu with not so great sides. Tiny, shabby place but worth the trip and experience.
Awesome Kulchas ! Really big, super crisp/karara as they say. Chhole and chutney were average, bt who cares as far as the kulchas were outstanding ! The place gets sold out pretty soon and weekend means waiting for sure. The seating/crockery is not at all great though, bt I am sure in near future, they will improvise soon!
This place is located at loharka road, Amritsar. Inspite of main kulcha points, this place is gaining popularity based on its great quality of Kulchas n chane. Kulchas are soft n crunchy along with the chana's. This is a great option of going and having the dish for which amritsar is famous for. I ll recommend all the first timers to visit this place for Kulchas. But beware of the crowd. U hv to wait fr a mouth watering dish.
Damn good - monu kulcha hut and this is the one I am talking about :
Monu Kulcha Hut
Loharka Rd, Gumtala, Amritsar, Punjab 143008
so make sure it's this one as there are many with the same name , Its not a clean tidy place but kulchas are to die for - yummilious - kulchas melt in your mouth - chole and the onion chutney - awesome - must must go ...try to be there by 1.30 or else they finish ...
Amazing kulchas...on Sunday we get only aalu pyaz kulcha only and lassi. Rest of the day we get gobhi, aalu, mix, etc kulche.
If you're a fan of Indian street food, then you simply can't miss out on Monu Kulcha Hut in Amritsar. Located in the bustling lanes of the city, this eatery is renowned for its crispy kulchas stuffed with a spicy potato filling, which has earned it a legion of loyal customers.
The first thing that strikes you as you approach Monu Kulcha Hut is the enticing aroma of the freshly baked kulchas. The shop itself is small and unassuming, but once you take your first bite, you'll understand why it's so famous. The kulchas are perfectly baked - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - and the filling is bursting with flavour. The spicy potato filling is the star of the show, but there are also a variety of other toppings available, including onion, paneer, and cheese.
One of the unique things about Monu Kulcha Hut is that it has become so popular that people even take their kulchas with them when they travel to other cities. It's not uncommon to see people carrying boxes of these delicious kulchas on trains and buses, all the way from Amritsar to Mumbai or Bengaluru.
Despite its popularity, Monu Kulcha Hut remains a humble eatery, with prices that are very reasonable. The portions are generous, and the staff are friendly and accommodating, making for a pleasant dining experience.
Overall, Monu Kulcha Hut is a must-visit for anyone who loves good food. It's a true gem in the heart of Amritsar, and it's no wonder that it has earned such a loyal following.
The Best crispy aloo kulcha that you can lage in Punjab.
Local shop so dont expect much out of it except the food taste.. food was awesome we ordered aloo Paratha and lassi.. both are taste good.. Im a lassi lover.. I ll give 5 star for lassi.. side and subji are not that good for aloo Paratha.. ambience is typical local shop ..
Kulchas were very tasty and crispy. Chole served were cold and even after multiple requests, hot chole were not served. But even with that, kulchas were amazing.
Loved the kulcha ... amazing (kya kulcha tha)
Service was bil slow due to heavy rush...but I will recommend all to try her kulcha once
Monu kulcha hut, loharka rd on the way back from kartarpur.. crispy flaky kulchas , chhole served alongside had a good kick to them.. we ordered alu kulchas, mix kulchas and paneer kulchas.. loved mix kulchas the most.. the texture of the kulchas tasted similar to patties ( puff pastry dough) we get in Delhi..
Best kulcha in the world without a doubt. I have tried kulcha at various places in amritsae but nothing beats monu kulcha. Krispy, flacky and tasty. If you are in amritsar this cannot be missed.
Tried many places for Kulcha in Amritsar but this one is the best amongst all others.
Outside the crowded city on the outskirts, on Lohakra road this is a gem. Extremely awesome Kulchas served with Chhole and onions in Imli. Priced at 30-35 bucks, a must have. You will forget all others especially the types of Kulcha Land.
never ate this type of kulcha.....sooooo yummy 😋😋 one should try..but don't go on weekends...n yes there waiting time is minimum 30 to 40min
Awesome Kulcha, we reached almost at the last so we got very less chola.
Really good place and food I have been coming here since a long time. I only eat their kulcha.
Its my family’s favourite place for breakfast if we want to indulge in kulchas
D aloo kulcha is just so crispy n light
Have tried many kulcha places but this is definitely d best
Well priced , doesn’t feel heavy or greasy at all
Good quality n amazing taste
D endless servings of channe n onion also adds up
Best enjoyed hot while having out there at d restaurant
Though getting packed n enjoying at home is always an option too but i prefer to dine in for perfect taste
Do give it a try 👍🏻👍🏻
The most waffery (crispy) and buttery kulcha you can ever have!
There are many outlets in asr for. Kulcha, but this one rules out all! Best kulchas ever.
Recomended: Mix kulcha plate. 👌🏽
Taste: 4/5, kulcha are very cripsy, choley lacks sometimes in tangynes but thw chutni compensates it totally!
Nice kulcha crispiness is good stuffing is bit less n chole can also be improved
Overall 8.5 out of 10 if compared to other options in amritsar
This place has had a lot of hype and has eluded me in my past trips as it's always full and I've run short of time but I've hit the jackpot today and was able to finally relish the taste of a killer kulcha that was well worth all the wait.
I prefer a bit of spice in my food and hence called for the aloo kulcha with mirchi that had just the right spicy flavour to appeal to my taste Buds and boy oh boy was it crispy.
The crackling sound at every bite simply amplified my eating experience.
Best to be chugged down with a soft drink if you are into it.
Kulchas are amazing, but i have had better kulchas, so found a bit overrated.
Anyways, it was the most crispy kulcha i have ever had.
Travelled straight 10kms especially for this joint in showering rains, got all wet on the way but guess what, it was all worth doing for! The first bite of that crunchy wholesome kulcha filled me with nothing but ecstacy! A must try!
