Suzie’s
Nice restaurant in Assagao in Goa. Interesting concept and business model.
You have to reserve and order your dishes in advance of your visit from a standard menu for the day. The fixed price includes several starters, the main course and desert. The cocktails and fruit drinks are very good but priced extra. The house speciality the smoky cocktail was unique. The food was good though the mushroom starter was extra salty.
The service was friendly. The al fresco ambience of the place was good. Overall good slightly on the expensive side
A 5 star is an understatement for Suzie’s. They have brilliantly curated and mouthwatering delicious food that is not only pleasing to the eye but uplifting to the soul. It’s art and taste beyond description. I love their space too.
I am half way through my meal and I already know that this place will become a staple for me every time I visit Goa. If you haven't been here. You need to. From the long haired bartender chatting about science non-fiction to the two beautiful dogs running around to its namesake chef. This place is for keep.
Been meaning to go for the longest time and finally ended up here last week for dinner. We’d heard of this place only doing pre-booked set course dinners and were pleasantly surprised to learn a la carte was possible too. Couldn’t get one of the outdoor tables - to be fair we called at the last minute - but got a table for two near the bar which wasn’t bad at all. Service was friendly and prompt as can be - we didn’t have to work hard at all to get the servers’ attention every time. We ordered the roast chicken salad, monsoon mutton, paprika chicken (they were sweet enough to swap the mash for veggies) and crimson forest for dessert (our bill came to around ₹3000 including service charge). Must say the food was excellent and we enjoyed it every bit. Now here’s the downer.. we get it when dishes are served as an ensemble, individual portions are conservative because the meal as a whole becomes quite substantial; but, when you serve dishes individually, portion sizes need to increase and this needs to be factored into the kitchen production SOPs, especially when dishes cost, on average, around ₹650 each. That said, we had an enjoyable evening and the jazz performers were really good as well. Thank you for a pleasant evening!
Tucked away in the bylanes of Goa's Culinary Capital Assagao Suzie's is an amazing place if you are looking for some peaceful ambience. The food is well crafted by the chefs. Exquisite delicately presented food with good drinks. Although the service is not good. It's very slow and they take soo long to even get cutlery. The staff is negligent. Had gone for an event by Black & White and the staff and service was pathetic to say. The ambience is pretty chilled and peaceful and you can easily spend 2-3 hrs here.
We had a wonderful experience at Suzie's. We opted for the 5 course meal and loved it. The pork, calamari and chicken ( all part of the meal) were cooked beautifully. We had the whole place to ourselves and that just enhanced the dining experience. From the tastefully done decor to the choice of music played, Suzie's gave us a memorable experience.
We'll be back!
Amazing ambiance, superb food and lovely staff, spent lovely time there. One must try Suzie's unique food varieties, her own creations. ❤️

We celebrated our anniversary here tonight and omg, the food was incredible! The cocktails were yum and each course was better than the other. The vibe was so romantic and the service was incredible! Def recommend!!!! Loved every bit of it. Perfect date night spot or for great food in general. Special shoutout to Jerin, Kunal and the other server (sorry I didn't ask for his name 🥲), you guys were great!

First visit ..
nice place .. the ambience is good ..
pretty breezy around the place ..
Talking about drinks and food …
They have a variety of cocktails to choose from .. we ordered around 5 different types ..
In food menu ..they have limited choice to choose from ( which in a way is good )
However, we stuck only to the starters..
overall a good experience..!
Had my mind blown by the tasting menu! And as a vegan, that's saying a lot. The karela wonton, deconstructed was genius!
Superb tasting menu. I ordered my selection early in the morning from the set 5 course menu. Each course was an absolute delight. Suzie pays attention to taste, texture, smell and presentation. Her food is the perfect balance between salt and spice, sweet and tart.
The amuse bouche (literally amuse your tongue) was crisp rotis with a mixture of chutneys and pickles - my faves were the curry leaf pickle and the Turkish yogurt with fried garlic.
The appetiser was a miso glazed eggplant with fried curry leaves, ginger and soy sauce. The purée was possibly made of raw mango, but I’m unsure.
The third course was prawn ceviche in a rice paper roll, with fine matchsticks of pickled daikon radish, carrot and cucumber. A very fresh take on your usual Vietnamese roll, garnished with a tamarind and peanut sauce and micro greens.
The entrée was possibly the best chicken dish I’ve ever had. Paprika roasted chicken - crispy and spicy on the outside with the flesh still pink and succulent. Paired with the silkiest potato mash and a clear broth. Crispy spinach on top for crunch. I’m still dreaming of this two days later.
Topped off by dessert - banana fritters with a layered dessert of almond base, chocolate gelato and a jellied berry compote. Thankfully just the perfect level of sweetness.
Given the number of courses, each course was just the right serving. I walked away full, but not overly stuffed.
It’s off season in Goa and I was the only guest at Suzie’s that evening. Despite that, their service was bang on - lovely ambience, feels like you’re eating in a private garden. Fresh flowers on every table. The fans kept me comfortable despite being in the muggy outdoors. I didn’t get bitten by mosquitoes, wish they’d share the secret behind that. And lovely music in the background.
I would definitely recommend the Suzie’s experience to anyone coming to Goa! 😀
Absolutely wonderful experience. The 5 course set meal is a delight for all senses and an amazing way to spend a romantic evening with your partner! The cocktails are just outstanding but the food is the real reason to visit Susie's.
Suzie's was a fine dining experience! The stand out dishes in our 5 course dinner (which we chose in advance, online) were the pork wontons, the calamari salad, and the paprika chicken.
The plants and the jazz music set the mood nicely.
The service was good but I would have preferred to be told details as each course was served.
One niggle: The path from the main road to the restaurant is unlit and uneven, which makes it difficult to walk at night.
Loved the brilliantly curated experience!! From the ambience to the pictorial drinks menu every thing is well thought of. The food is detailedly amazing!!! Even the red rice had a smoky unique flavour, the tomato gazpacho plays with your head and your taste buds, the mushroom daku was totally ganster and the whole meal was so well balanced !!
Loved the 5 course meal.
Staff is nice; cocktails were amazing.
A 5 course menu well wort the Rs1500 per person price tag. The mind blowing cocktails are priced between Rs 400 to 600 well worth the price rather than paying corkage at 1500 . A must go to restaurant where prior bookings and pre selection of the meal to be eaten is a pre rwuisite being a zero waste establishment. Suzie is an amazing innovative and creative chef and shall go places with this 9 month old restaurant which promises to remain open round the year
Excellent food, very good service. The specials menu for the cocktails was excellent and the drinks did not disappoint. A must try.
