A beautiful cafe which offers good service and food and drinks 👍🏼
Good to have breakfast. Old Goan House with garden. They recently changed the menu I somehow loved old menu more . You can sit outside and enjoy the nature and your breakfast.

Great ambiance in a beautiful renovated home , try the pizzas .. their macaroons you can swear by
We visited this place for breakfast with an intention of enjoying English breakfast. This place has a widespread breakfast package which is quite filling.
The venue Ambience is quirky with complete English type vintage furniture. We had a good time here.
It was a great experience... Beautiful ambience and yummy food.
Really Nice and cute place is Assagaon serving really nice breakfast.
Loved their croissant and poached eggs in particular
Would surely recommend it
Beautiful place with great food.
The ambiance of this place makes it a must visit destination to satisfy your sense of adventure and taste those lovely snacks and pastries. The sweets can get a bit boring especially if you're not that much into sweet. But the drinks a simply magnificent and so are the snacks. Don't forget to try the pasta.
Since I've been staying in Goa for a longer time than I usually do, I've been craving the sort of food that this place serves. Such places usually require a lot of travel from where I live, so I was so glad when this showed up as one of the places available for delivery on another app I use. As soon as I saw the menu, I was already excited, seeing items like burgers, crepes, cheesecakes and even churros. And it looked like it was made to appeal to people who like Western-style cuisine. Thankfully they didn't disappoint.
I've ordered twice now, and I've been satisfied both times.
For my first order, I decided to stick with a safer option and chose a BBQ chicken burger. That was enough to convince me that this place is more than suited to my tastes - no unnecessary amounts of spices, perfect amount of toppings and sauce, and a good bun to hold it all together. And it was tender and juicy, a rarity here. The fries (which came with the sandwich) were better than most places here as well, cooked well and flavorful.
My second time, I ordered a beef burger. Definitely one of the better burgers I've eaten here in Goa. It's exactly what a burger should be. Good tender, juicy meat and though the kind of sauce they used wasn't what I was expecting (giving it a sort of smokehouse feel), it worked really well, and I enjoyed every bite of it. I have to mention that I did find a very tiny piece of bone or cartilage in it though, so some better care has to be taken there.
I'm definitely going to order again, or maybe even make a trip there personally, to check out their other items. I definitely want to try some of their other menu items, like the croissants and cheesecake I hope they keep the taste consistent and don't try to change things up too much, because I can see myself ordering it regularly.
My only suggestion is that they should send a couple of ketchup satchets with delivery orders. Not a big deal to me, but I can see it being an issue to some.
Overall, highly recommended, especially if you're looking for something similar to what you get abroad.
Good place to chill with friends. A lot of flies and mosquitoes around if you sit outside though. The burger and pasta was tasty. It's actually an old house converted into a cafe.
Go for IT
If you happen to stay in north Goa (near Vagator or Arjuna) visit to Black vanilla is a must visit.
Portuguese bungalow converted into a cafe house it offers excellent experience to dine in true Goan style.
Breakfast is recommended .
The outside section is spacious and way to relax
The outlet is famous for its croissants ( plain and chocolate ones) and all types of rolls.
We ordered the masala omelette , scrambled eggs and sunny side eggs served with white breads.
Coffee is excellent .
Only missing part is availability of crossiants . They seem to be listed on the menu and not available after 9 am. Staff seems confused and not sure on when you can get it.
Will recommend to provide brown bread and offer Goan local breads as of part of the menu to provide better experience .

An old Portuguese house that has been converted into a pretty looking cafe. It's a quiet place with a soothing ambience. They have an indoor as well as an outdoor seating. The wood finish only adds to the look and ambience of the cafe. A little on the pricey side, but surely worth it. The staff are welcoming and polite.
We had a Watermelon Juice, Salted Caramel Latte and Caramelized Onion Mushroom Ricotta Sandwich.
The watermelon juice is our all time favourite and was very refreshing. The latte had a delicious salted caramel flavour. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it to those visiting the cafe. The open sandwich had a mild taste of caramelized onions that was perfectly matched with the mushrooms and ricotta, with the right amount of freshness being delivered by some fresh herbs. No ingredient overpowered the taste of another ingredient.
Awesome food and awesome service by the staff. Food was expectionaly good . We ordered a vegetarian leafy salad and red sauce pasta with cold coffee and juice. Everything was perfect.
An absolutely amazing experience ! Went to this place on 25th. Awesome & delicious Breakfast !! Service was also excellent !! Will definitely revisit on next trip.
Many things to say and nothing to complain about. Great food. Well serving and welcoming staff. Great ambience. Lots of parking space (which is something I look for before going to any restaurant)
By far the best English breakfast I’ve had in Goa. Tried many different places but I always come back here.
So I went to this place with my brother. Beautiful cafe inside a lovely Portuguese house. We ordered for pulled chicken BBQ sandwich, chocolate shake which was ok and BBQ chicken pizza. Everything was nice . The only thing was that I found it lil over priced , especially the chicken BBQ pizza although it was really tasty.. Everything service no doubt about that. The cafe is beautifully done. It has indoor as well as outdoor seating. Peaceful place to chill with friends & family. ❤️
Food: 4/5
Service: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5

Great place. Clean. Comfortable. Calm.
I had the Goan chorizo sandwich which was delicious. The sausages were not drowning in onions, as is the norm in most places.
We went here at 8 pm exactly which was closing time of black vanilla as we were not aware of closing time. Still they welcomed us and took our order. Mocha here was one of the best mocha I had in Goa. They even offered a cookie with it . Would love to try other items from the menu here again.
It's a quiet place where I ordered a raspberry cheesecake and a peach ice tea. The cheesecake was amazing, one amongst the best that I have had. The ice tea was a good generous serving and pretty enjoyable. Do try it out!!
Beautiful property. Has a parking lot too. We tried cold coffee, mango yogurt bowl, potato wedges, fish n chips, and fruit pancakes. Everything we ordered was very tasty. Will visit again when I come back to Goa.
Please note that they charge a service charge of 10 percent.
The breakfast was almost perfect. We got the English breakfast, strawberry yoghurt bowl and cold coffee. Later we also had Caesar Salad and Fish and Chips. All were delicious. The service was also prompt. The ambience was quite and calming.
Some suggestions: the strawberry bowl was too sweet and the cold coffee watery. If these are fixed this place would be even better.
Hidden treasure off the Anjuna-Mapsa road. We had a sumptuous breakfast and were served by efficient waiting staff.
OMG, such a hidden jewel. I've had the best breakfast ever, sorry vegans, but just love my bacon and eggs.
The perfect place for truly continental food, from pork ribs and turkey, to salmon steak.
Each dish we tried was a delight, cooked to perfection, whether it was the eggs Benedict or the jacket potatoes.
Can't miss the coffee, dark and strong, the way it's meant to be.
Can't beat the location, bang in the centre of Assagao.
Can't miss the ambience, tranquil and green.
Can't sound the music, loud enough to enjoy, soft enough to talk.
Great ambience, decor has a portuguese vibe. Food was visually appealing and tasted equally well. Had a very satisfying brunch. Their sandwiches and pastries are recommended the most. The cheese cake, opera pastry are must haves. Opera pastry was the highlight of the meal. It had many layers and each layer was distinctly visible and tasted heavenly, had a rich chocolatey flavor with subtle notes of coffee and a layer of mousse. If in the vicinity, do visit

A quaint-looking cafe located in Assagao, Black Vanilla is the ideal place for some delicious food and a cup of coffee, away from the hustle-bustle of the city. It's an old Goan house converted into a pretty cafe. The ambiance is very soothing. With the new WFH trend that has set in, you can comfortably work here without any disturbance.
One look at the menu, and we knew that the Mr. English Breakfast was a must try! Eggs of your choice, toasted bread, sautéed mushrooms, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, chicken sausages (you can opt for bacon instead), and a glass of freshly squeezed watermelon juice with no added sugar. It was simply perfect!
We then had the BBQ chicken pizza, loaded with the goodness of chicken and cheese. The crepes and caramel latte definitely had our heart! The crepes were stuffed with ricotta and topped with orange zest that gave it a hit of zingy freshness. The latte was just pure bliss! Finally, we had the Seafood Salad - simple and full of flavour.
Kudos to the team, we thoroughly enjoyed the food!

So the evening mood gets us to the well know cafe in goa. Place with good ambience, friendly staff and good food with drinks. A place with a very calm environment for you to relax your mind. No hassle of parking also. You just know this place is perfect.
They’ve got a lot of variety of food as well especially sandwiches. Can always try a new thing every-time you go there coz you know you won’t be disappointed with the taste.
Many things to say and nothing to complain about. Great food. Well serving and welcoming staff. Great ambience. Lots of parking space (which is something I look for before going to any restaurant)
By far the best English breakfast I’ve had in Goa. Tried many different places but I always come back here.
Super ambience, best breakfast options and most importantly very reasonably priced
Love this place.
Easily it will be one of the best place for the all English or continental breakfast.
Was just passing by this place on our way to some other place and it looked so inviting that we had to stop by!
Made a quick coffee and cake pitstop here and thoroughly enjoyed the old world vibes this restaurant had going on!
Took a lot of pictures and had great chocolate Shake and New York Cheesecake.
Definitely going to visit again for their delicious looking pizzas and sandwiches!
It's such a beautiful place. So quite and absolutely lovely place. This restaurant takes you into Portuguese era. Nicely maintained property. We ordered chicken cream soup and crab bruschetta and it was simply awesome.
Am glad I took the detour and went to Black Vanilla. Simply loved the peace and quiet and for someone like me who likes an early morning, breakfast at 0800 hrs work perfectly.
Good coffee, great breakfast. Loved the thirsty bear waffles and the English breakfast. The only place where they chop up jalapenos and add them to beans, flavour burst 🥰
The breakfast was lovely. Unfortunately they didn't have the eggs Benedict, which was on the menu. No indoor seating but a nice balcony/verandah kinda outdoor seating. They do have a special kids menu
It's a cute little asthetic place. Food was yumm. Good for small group of friends or family
