If it's 3 o'clock and the waiting if for 90 mins what will you do? We shifted from Ananda Seafood n Bar to Big 🐟. At 180/- per plate the fish thali is a steal. We got king fish fry, king fish curry, solkadi, anda bhurji, cabbage sabji, sukkat chutney, salad, rice and chapatti. Each item was outstanding. We also ordered for crabs tawa fry(480/-). This was the Showstopper- fresh, juicy, succulent with amazing burst of flavours. Definitely a must visit place!!

Food is delicious, reasonable priced. Staff behaviour is fantastic. Restaurant is spacious, light music. We visited twice a day for lunch and dinner. I would really visit to your restaurant in my next trip. Must recommended for visitors who will be staying in Assagao.
Food is extremely delicious here. Although you should prepare to wait go around 30 mins to get a seat here. The food too, takes quite a we’ll to get ready and the staff isn’t trained enough to handle impatient customers (as I observed from the other table)
It was an SuddenPlan outdoor with my Family and halt at BigFish. We preferred going with Fish Food and Delighted with Mouth Watering Meal. It was Great to have Dine with you. Will sure look fwd to Visit again with new company along..
If you want Fish thali.. Here's the place to be. Super pocket friendly on the thali. Good variety. Authentic taste. They have outdoor seating too!
Been there today with my husband..... have ordered goan thali and calamari fish chilli in goan style..... food awsome with reasonable prices.....staff behaviors were good. Ambiance cool. Bt the fish carry is bit spicy.....overall its good.....
Very well maintained place. Not do different to find on the map. The service is quick and friend. Yes this place does get crowded and busy. So I suggest to go early and reserve the best place, although they have good sitting areas. Went there with my Pune friend. She enjoyed alot. Well cooked fish. Thank is a must. Also the fish fry's are to die for. Don't forget to ask for what's their fresh catch for the day. Must visit if ur around that area. Enjoy
If I have to describe this place in one word then I would say it's heavenly.
A small outlet, nothing fancy when you first look at it but the moment you eat anything, your taste buds will feel the awesomeness. Tried their King fish Goan thali, Calmari dry chilli, golden fried prawns and chicken tikka kabab and everything had something different to offer. Overall I can say it's the best sea food I ever had.
Amazing place.... Amazing food... Good service & great ambience.. We went here for a dinner & few beers... Great food we just had fish nothing else it was amazing... If you are in the area don't miss it! :)
This place is amazing. If you crave a proper Goan fish thali,then you have to visit this place. Be it Jangra, Kingfish or Chaunak-the simple chefs will amaze you. It's an open restaurant and hence might be a little humid during the day. Since it has quite a few regular visitors , waiting on weekends for your seat might be the situation.
Good place with awesome food at affordable rates. The food they served was delicious and to our surprise it was affordable as well. You should definitely try this restaurant . Do try their king fish rava fry and prawns/fish thali .
The only problem is the wait time to get the food. It took more than 45 minutes to get the food. It wasn’t crowded on the day visited.
If you comig to Goa, you cannot miss this amazing raw traditional Goan restaurant. And you will love the great hospitality by the owners.
This is such a good place. Excellent food and simple ambience but feels cosy. The staff is responsive and serves with a cheer. We stumbled upon this restaurant when we were searching for a place with Authentic Goan Fish Curry and were fully satisfied at the end. Richado King Fish, Mackerel and Crab Masala are highly recommended and even their simple Dal was delicious.

Big Fish is a delightful discovery! This restaurant exudes a charming local vibe that instantly puts you at ease. While they offer a variety of cuisines, it's their Goan dishes that truly shine.
The highlight of this place is undoubtedly their lady chef, who conjures up dishes bursting with freshness. I ordered the prawns masala and xacuti vegetable, and both were a revelation. The flavors were simply outstanding, and you could taste the effort put into every dish.
Big Fish is a hidden gem, one of the most underrated restaurants I've come across. I have to say, it surpasses its competition, like Fat Fish, by a mile. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their fantastic Goan cuisine. Highly recommended!
It's a nice restaurant with a huge sitting space. We visited here last month and that time a football world cup final match was going on and this place was perfect to watch a match with quality food. The vibe was awesome and perfect to chill out. We ordered Fish fingers, King fish tawa fry, Prawns chilli fry, Chicken tikka masala, Kolhapur mutton and butter Naan. And in drinks we ordered Fresh lime soda mix, Ginger Ale, Peppery Mango and Litchi Likey. The food was pretty average. The King fish fry and Peppery Mango was awesome. We also ordered Blueberry cheese cake which was good. Overall experience was good due to ambience and sitting space.
Must visit to try their sea food items. Place was extremely crowded and service was slow. Wide range of cocktail menu. Crab dishes were awesome.
Had a thorough goan experience here. The goan thali served was amazing. 6 curries, fish fry and rice was in it. We also tried spaghetti which also was creamy and delicious. Fries and prawns fry was superb. Not much options for veg though. Veg fried rice wasn't good.
It's a place right on the Anjuna Siolim road near Soro the village pub. Their food quality is good. The ambience is nice. Prices are notch more to the standard offered. Service is decent. Evenings here are better than the day as the sun light comes over you during late noons. Parking is opposite the restaurant. They specialise in sea food so try it out. One remark is a temple nearby if that has a function then it's difficult to sit here.
Good food. Loved fish thali and squid. Veg food equally good. Beer available or you can get yours. Ambience is too good. Surrounded with banana and other plants. They seem to be short of staff but service was fine. Within budget menu. Overall a good place n recommended.
this place along with their adorable dog called lion is absolutely a must for a aesthetic and fish lovers. prices are affordable and they have quite a lot of varieties. will definitely visit again.

I'm super late to post a review for this restaurant 😄 but it's totally worth it. I forgot the name of this restaurant and today luckily got their visiting card. We had lunch here exactly a year back. It was super tasty. We tasted authentic goan thali's here. Each item from the thali was super yummy and food served was hot and fishes were fresh.The place is decent. Sitting arrangement is good. Though we stopped late in the afternoon they served us delicious food. Surmai, Prawns were finger licking good.😋 Ended our goa trip with this great place.
This is a must visit place if you're roaming near parra road.
Had some lovely Goan Kingfish Curry with Rice, and some Prawns.. There seemed to be no Chef, and some of the service staff were spotted cooking food in the kitchen. They were unaware about the specials of the day, but the food was tasty and up to the mark.
Super delicious thali and King fish masala! Definitely must try little above the price but still worth to have! Grill chicke was very average;
We have ordered fish finger , golden fried prawns n prawns biryani. All dish was delicious but we liked golden fried prawns most big juicy . They are making homemade food so taking time but wait to worth. Staff was also kind.
