My taxi drove by this place and I had to visit it as I thoroughly enjoy Burmese cuisine. I ordered the šŸ„ šŸ  curry which had great flavor along with the coconut rice. I could have eaten that rice all day. I would have loved bigger pieces of fish, but overall good spot to stop at for lunch. Service was great. Atmosphere was super chill.

Oh what an experience! Space is huge and beautifully done, service is great, we tried their exotic veggies tempura , khao soi, lavender and lime cake.. all dishes were so delicious! We had a food high. Their cocktails were brilliant too, so many flavours ! Highly recommend it, khao soi reminded me of Chaing Mai, so differently go for it

Sopo, the Burmese gem in Assagao, is a delightful culinary adventure. With its cozy ambiance and warm service, it offers a unique fusion of Burmese flavors. The tea leaf salad is a must-try, bursting with freshness and complex textures. The curries are rich and aromatic, while the coconut noodles are a heavenly blend of creamy and spicy. Sopo's commitment to using authentic ingredients shines through in every dish. Prices are reasonable, making it an excellent value. Whether you're a Burmese cuisine enthusiast or a newcomer, Sopo guarantees a memorable dining experience.

Had a great meal at Sopo. The meats here are amazing - so donā€™t miss the pork and the beef. Cocktails are up to the mark too. Service was slightly slow, however, Siddharth the friendly owner compensated for a slight trouble. Will definitely come back. Not to forget, thereā€™s a speakeasy on the prĆ©mises. They do amazing drinks but you should find out how to get there yourself !

Brilliant food, great ambience plus cool summer cocktails. We had a blast while having lunch at Sopo. Everything tasted delicious and the cocktails were outstanding. I think we ended up ordering everything vegetation on the menu and hogging on the food. Started with the salad and a few starters. I really enjoyed the Khao Suey and the rice. If you're in Goa definitely add Sopo to your list of places to visit you won't regret it.

What a lovely restaurant. Friendly staff and excellent food. The best meal we had in Goa. The cocktails were well made and consistent. The food was beautifully made, perfectly spicy, tangy and sweet like it should be. Highly recommended.

Sopo Goa is a gem when it comes to Burmese cuisine! We couldn't get enough of their delectable Lahpet Thoke (pickled tealeaf salad), it was the absolute best. The Basil Chicken was incredibly delicious, and the Khao Suey was a delightful treat. If you're curious about trying Burmese cuisine, Sopo Goa is a must-visit. The place has a great vibe and we loved every bit of it!

Iā€™m gonna give SOPO a perfect 5 stars! Bonita and her absolutely lovely team are so charming that I would keep going back to see their smiles! Superb cocktails and my Negroni was spot on perfect! Food was really good! Music was nice and even though they are in Assagaon by the roadside, they create their own ambiance! Loved their outdoor seating! A lovely new place and so close to our villa!

Sunday lunch at ā€œSopo ā€œ Assangaon turned out to be really good ,the Khow suey ,to the chicken stir fry dish ,the prawn stir fry sorry have forgotten the names of the dishes ,yo the noodles were fabulous ,each and every dish was fresh and tasting good ,the gin cocktail was fresh ,the only down side I would say is that the cocktail glass needed to be more large not just two sips of the cocktail and the indoor seating could be a bit different with the upholstery and seating Arrangement, the food was bang on ,definitely a place to visit for the food ,infact in this lane there are many restaurants have tried almost all ā€œSOPO ā€œ definitely takes the lead
