I’ve been here three times and haven’t been disappointed once. The menu is immersive and the dishes are top notch in quality while being light on the wallet. The place is huge, ambiance peaceful, staff well mannered. Plus good backdrop for photos too.

This place is located on a saltpan, so there's a bit of a stench of your sitting close to the water but otherwise it's good.
Thier food was superb, we tried thier mussels rawa fry, yelios, tongue chilli fry, and Bombay duck was simply superb!
Thier pricing is too good and thier service spot on.ambience is ok but they can do better.
P.s if they keep a 2 peice band it will work wonders.

The finger food is very good I would recommend the Velio, lepo & chonak rawa fry. Crab masala outstanding and very reasonably priced. Chicken Xacuti and prawn pulao outstanding.

For the first ever time I tried Sausage naan and it was so damn good I had to order another portion of it!!
Also tried fried fish and prawns rechado masala and a lot more stuff but nothing could beat the Sausage naan ❤
It's a nice place, the scenery from there is very lovely and peaceful. The atmosphere is good, seating wise its not fancy and luxurious but it's comfortable with a good relaxing feel.
Food is quite tasty and prices are quite reasonable. We ordered crabs, fish fillet, fried fish, oysters, bombil etc
Situated ideally at a river bank, known for its excellent service and tasty food. Pricing is pocket friendly. Ample of parking available.

Amarela is the newest restaurant located by the Riverside in the popular Assolna lane that also hosts Starlight and Seamen! It might be new, but it sure provides tough competition to the other two!
Spite of being a Monday night that I visited, Amarela was buzzing! No compromise in service and will not forget your order even during the peakest of hours. I can vouch that quality & quantity of food is top notch!
Ordering seafood is a must here! Mussels, Prawns, Squids, all well done! Rawa fried prawns, Squids Masala fried is my personal favorite. So flavoursome, and huge quantity!
Stuffed Mushrooms Mackeral cutlets are good too! We tried the Chicken Hariyali kebabs, very impressive.
However, Sausage pulao was disappointing.

For years dinning in Assolna meant visiting the all time famous “Starlight Bar and Restaurant” But now it seems like Starlight will have to pull up its socks to compete with the all new “Amarela Bar and Restaurant”. Amarela is the newest entrant in the popular restaurant lane of Assolna. It enjoys a beautiful river view, has a small garden, ample of parking space and good number of seating space as well. The ambiance is nicely done, though it may not be too fancy. However you have enough places to get good pictures of yourself. The staff is friendly and service is quick. Food pricing is reasonable, quantity is good and so is the taste. We had plenty of seafood starters ranging from prawns, squids, crabs, Bombay duck and mackerel. We had a good dinning experience and would recommend this place further.
Lovely ambience except for the foul sewage smell you get at times. The food was totally worth it for the price. I had calamari, bomb rawa fry and mussel raw fry. All were yummy.
Always love visiting this place for the food and ambience. Crab masala or xec xec is a must try. Love their pork pepper fry too. It's a good place to spend time with your family and friends for a good lunch or dinner date. It's a good save on the pocket as well with reasonable rates. There's a live one man band on Sundays playing great music. Overall great food quality and service. Love the vibe!
My first visit to this beautiful restaurant by the river.
For starters, we tried their prawns stuffed papad which was just yum! A very good snack along with a beer. We tried french fries, chicken crispy, stuffed mushrooms and paneer tikka. Chicken crispy was 7/10 and paneer tikka was delish, I'll give it 9.5/10.
Mushrooms could have been better.
Next we tried paneer chilly and prawns Racheado. Paneer chill tasted great but Racheado masala wasn't up to the mark. The prawns were very fresh and well cooked tho.
Last we ordered veg hakka noodles which turned out amazing.
Most of the dishes are easy on the pocket.
Overall a very good experience here. Service is quick. Be early if you plan on visiting them on weekends because they get full fast.
Excellent place if you want to come and enjoy some authentic Goan food. Prices are reasonable and the quantity is sufficient enough. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is available on the opposite side of the road for the restaurant.
They have lovely Lake side decir which makes it very Insta friendly. It is an open air restaurant.
Our second visit here. Lovely restaurant by the lake, with plenty of parking available. The Laid-back atmosphere and his music makes for a chilled-out lunch date! (The music was low enough to be able to talk at the table). The place was pretty full when we visited but the waiters were attentive as soon as we walked in. (Always a good sign). The Lepo is always a favourite dish, and the prawn curry was delicious. Good cocktails too. This restaurant is turning into a regular on our list.
A nice place to visit with family. Delicious and fresh Goan seafood, the ambience is very calming as well overlooking a river. I would say visit this place and try the Goan dishes and seafood don't opt for the Chinese dishes as they aren't as good as the Goan dishes made with fresh fish or chicken etc. The owner is very sweet and helpful. The overall Vibes are great to visit with family for Sunday lunches or to celebrate small occasions.

Had ordered squids batter fry, prawns rawa fry, crab xec xec and chicken crumbs. Dessert we tried caramel pudding which was very smooth in texture and delicious. Reasonable price..must try!

Had a medley of assorted fried seafood with couple rounds of beers. Loved it !!! My family enjoyed it thoroughly as well. The staff is at point and service was impeccable!
Great Restaurant next to the River!!
The place serves amazing sea food, one of the best place to have fresh sea food in Goa. The best part of it all, was the quick service, so we started hogging soon after coming, and didn't have to wait for much time, like in most restaurants.
The ambience is really great, with cool overhead lighting and Its situation next to the river, so it's a perfect place for a lazy dine in with a view.
Its situation a little off the main road but with ample parking space at the entrance and the rates are moderate.

We had excellent food including lepo rava fry, squid batter fry, chicken 65, chicken tikka, fruit punch, and Chicken Rockon gravy. Chicken Rockon was the best followed by Chicken tikka and squid batter fry.

Good restaurants to have authentic goan food. Food is good. The restaurant is located just beside an small pond. Live music is available on weekends. Price is reasonable. Parking is available for two and four wheeler vehicle.
This place can be defined by two aspects - lake side side view & quantity of food. The place has a really nice setup just adjacent to a lake(it's a actually a pond) and is best enjoyed in the evenings with the fancy light ing setup. The other big (literally) aspect of this place is the quantity of food-it's massive! I have never eaten a king fish dish which has two massive big slivers ( it was bigger than my palm by almost an inch!) ; and that's it I couldn't eat anything more coz it was so Damn heavy. The have nice music also playing in the background and most frequented by locals.
Def. Gonna visit this place if am around again.
Amarela Bar and Restaurant is a beautiful restaurant with a lake view known for its seafood and authentic goan dishes.
It's one of the best place to have fresh sea food in Goa. The best part of it all, was the quick service, didn't have to wait for much time, like in most restaurants.
The ambience of the place is really good, you can sit here and enjoy dining in with live music and ofcourse a view of Lake.
Food here is really good , the highlight for us was crab xeq xeq and stuffed mushrooms.
Overall the place is really good , if you're a seafood lover then this is the place to go.
Had an amazing experience here at Amarela. Went with my friends to have lunch. They have variety of fresh fish with amazing delicious Goan dishes. They also serve other food as well. The restaurant has an amazing view. So can enjoy the food with the view. Has parking too. Highly recommended
One of the best place in goa for some lovely sea food. We ordered a bunch of sea food and every dish was delicious. The staff is very welcoming, the ambience is just great. Adding to the surroundings it's just beautiful. We had an amazing time here..
