Moti Mahal is the new name of the Greek Cafe and Restaurant.
It's no longer an Italian or Continental Cafe, but an Indian restaurant serving good North Indian delicacies amidst road to Auroville. Just located nearby Tanto's Pizza, it's a small outdoor seated restaurant.

It was really good. We ordered mixed veg curry and pulka. It was good.. as only two people were there, there was a delay in serving.
The host is very warming. They have both Italian and Indian varieties. The price is a bit high but the taste is good
Some of the best fusion cuisine in Auroville or Pondicherry. Perfectly situated on Auroville Main Road. It is a MUST try restaurant for visitors in town. Staff and owner are friendly and accommodating.
Good place to eat simple layout in Auroville and worth for money and taste. All indian Italian restaurant.

Food is really good here, even the North Indian ones. Spacious and good seating area. Very clean and hygienic place as well.
This place was a life saver after the painful 1hr wait at bread and chocolate which is a few mins from here.
The host is easy to speak to. He knows Hindi very well and he helped get us basic food super fast

Very nice, filling wheat parathas. Pure indian taste. The tea was good in quantity and awesome. Gravies are at rate of around 200/- but rich in spices. Overall good food mid way to Auroville.

Food they prepared was fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend this place. My experience was a lot better than restaurants at promgate beach. Only con they have in their dishes is presentation style.
What can I say, the place is not so different from other roadside cafes in Auroville, YET it's a very good and comfortable place. The guys working here are friendly. Food quality was great. And the chicken was fresh.
